Quinn About Me: I have been writing since I was a teenager, I won't say how long ago that was, but I'm not a spring chicken if you get my meaning. I began how many kids who think they can write start out, poetry. I dabbled in attempting the odd book idea or two, but did not get into long form writing in a serious way until my first attempt at writing Fan Fiction. It started with a canon sequel to the Twilight Saga focusing on Angela as the protagonist. It was about twenty pages, and ended on a happy note. I then shoved it away and didn't think about it for a year or so. Eventually the writing bug hit me again, I dragged that old story out of mothballs and began to expand it. Seven chapters and over a hundred and fifty pages later, I realized I was never going to stop writing. Over the next few years I wrote several more stories, finishing one and getting fairly deep into some of the others. In 2012 I began reading a story by Kathryn_518 titled In Another Life, and I was hooked. I left detailed comments, and Kat and I started talking. One thing led to another and soon enough I was working as a beta on the story. A few chapters later I was a full co-author and together we crafted a lot of content over the span of three years. In 2015 both of our lives took us away from writing the story, although we would both pursue individual stories. In 2017, I stopped writing Fan Fiction entirely, focusing my efforts on an original story (which I have since completed). A couple of years ago, while going through a major editing pass on my book, I realized I was getting too wrapped up in my writing and needed a change of pace. I also wanted to explore the editing side of things in a more focused way. So I took out one of my longest and most problematic stories and began an edit. The Crash was a good project to work on, but over time I realized I had some major problems with some of the continuity and the entire beginning of the story. Enough that I pulled down the entire thing. Which in hindsight was a bit of a bone head move, I grant you. In the meantime I was working on an edit of In Another Life, which involved working with Kathryn again. That brings me to now, and the entirely new version of The Crash which has five new introductory chapters, and massive alterations of the original framing for the story. We have also started to release In Another Life, this time on my account. Both of these projects will continue throughout 2022 and hopefully wrap up by the end of that year. There are other projects which might show up at some point in the near future. Specifically Scattered Ashes which is half completed. I would like to start working on one of four projects that I have never been able to give up on entirely (see below). I will continue to produce Fan Fiction for the foreseeable future and I look forward to sharing my stories with you, and hope that you check out all my work. Current Projects: Below is a list and table of contents (with links) to each of my stories. In Another Life - Revised The Cullen Family left Bella in the forest, alone and terrified. This time they never return to Forks. Bella ended up a vampire anyway, and now she is a feared member of the Volturi. She has a daughter, and she has had no contact with the Cullens for almost a century. Revised version of In Another Life originally posted by Kathryn_518. Forward 00: A New Life The Crash: Part One - Blood and Fire (Completed) Bella arrives in Forks to her new life and starts school without many expectations. She meets some new friends, and has an instant attraction to Edward Cullen, but of course everyone in school is infatuated with the Cullens. But when Tyler's van spins out of control, Edward makes a different choice. Table of Contents Prologue: The Hostage End of Part One The Crash: Part Two - Crash into You After a confrontation with James and Victoria, the Cullens have to figure out how to stop the forward momentum of Alice's nightmare vision. Yet nothing seems to be changing as the family is split apart. Bella and Angela have to deal with more personal matters of the heart as their relationships shift and change. Alice, Bella and Angela along with the rest of the family have to figure out how to navigate the tricky steps of destiny and fight to win against impossible odds. This is the continuation of The Crash Part Two and the Conclusion of the story. (Number of chapters, chapter names and arrangement may change) Will release weekly on Friday's starting in May, 2022 (This should be completed by September 2022) Table of Contents: Prologue: Head and Heart ~ The End ~ Scattered Ashes Alice is plagued with dreams of an impossible love. Dreams she cannot imagine will come true, except for the fact her dreams usually do come true. What will she do when the woman of her dreams steps into her life? This is a Bella/Alice story with the roles reversed, Alice is human and Bella is a vampire. Progress update: I am pulling this story out of mothballs and some preliminary work is completed on chapter Thirteen. Table of Contents Chapter 01: A New Home Blood Moon (Angela's Story) - a canon post Breaking Dawn continuation of the Twilight Saga. After a lot of thought I will be working on this when I have time. This will alternate with Scattered Ashes releasing Monday's once or twice a month. Hopefully the first chapter will be up by early January. Chapter 01: A Bad Idea At First Sight - (Completed) Bella comes to Forks a year after she originally intended to, and has an unexpected encounter with a certain raven haired vampire and their lives are thrown in to chaos when Alice cannot control her impulses. Meanwhile a mysterious new vampire arrives in Forks and throws a wrench in Bella and Alice's future.
