Migrating to Ao3. I can't delete this account but this profile won't be active anymore. I've had it up to here with spam bots, troll reviewers, and just generally nasty awful people. My stories on there get little traffic these days and the bulk of my reviews on this site are generally one of those three things (the amount of shit that I have to filter and delete is ridiculous). I've been considering just moving on to Ao3 for quite a while now. But I received one comment (not a troll or a bot btw, just a really angry and mean spirited individual) that just kind of sealed the deal.

The fanfic staff should really consider allowing authors to turn off anon reviews (that would prevent a lot of spam and bot bullshit) and create a better blocking system. In general this site needs to add more protections for authors. The interface is also aggravatingly dated; I much prefer Ao3's comments section--where you can respond directly to reviews. The amount of glitches on this site are pretty annoying too.

So a big thanks to everyone who has supported me here on fanfic but honestly this site is more of a stressor than anything else at this point and I'm trying to cut those out of my life as much as possible. Perhaps I'll see you on Ao3, perhaps not.
