I am a stay at home mother of one son and two daughters. I have lived my entire life in northeastern Florida. My hobbies and interests include writing, pen palling, reading, cross stitch, jigsaw puzzles, shopping, history, and genealogy. The movie 'Sommersby' really hit home for me because my great great grandmother's brother also served in the Confederate army and was also hung for murder not too long after the Civil War ended. It happened in Texas but I don't know any more of the details so I don't know whether or not he was really guilty. Besides him I have many other relatives who served in the Confederate army and at least one direct ancestor and two of my great-great-great grandfather's brothers who gave their lives for that cause. I was raised mostly in Assemblies of God and Southern Baptist churches but I now consider myself to be a nondenominational liberal Christian. I came close to converting to Judaism about ten years ago but in the end decided not to because I didn't want to be the only Jew in my family. I'm still very interested in Judaism and all things Jewish however. I have read all the 'Left Behind' books and also all the 'Little House on the Prairie' books when I was much younger. I started reading V.C. Andrews in 1987 and have read all the series up through the ones that were out in 2006. I have most of the newer ones too and want to read them when I have time. I used to go to the theater to watch 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' just about every weekend from the time I was eighteen until my early twenties. I like just about all kinds of music and prefer documentary, historical, romantic, or suspense/thriller movies. I also love to watch 'Spongebob Squarepants' with my kids. Please read and review my stories as I would love to improve my technique and don't mind constructive criticism. Btw I have also been a Beatlemaniac since I was fourteen. :)

One of my primary reasons for joining fanfic is that I like to take movies, television show episodes and even songs that have a very sad ending and give them a sequel with a happy ending. As I say, "Whatever happened to 'and they all lived happily ever after?'" I have done that several times already and look forward to hopefully doing it many more times. :)

Oh yeah, and I'm also something of a Trekkie...mainly just Next Generation...and mainly just because I have always thought that Jonathan Frakes is sooo hot, both with and without the beard. lol

In real history my favorite ships are Tsar Nicholas II/Tsarina Alexandra and Robert Dudley/Queen Elizabeth I. I also love to ship Robert's younger brother Guilford and Lady Jane Grey, although sadly the time they had together before their unjust executions was so brief that not nearly as much is known about them as about the other couples. In fiction I ship: Troi/Riker and Riker/Soren on STNG, Professor/Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island, Gary Greenberg/Cindy Brady on the Brady Bunch, Laurie/Jo and Laurie/Beth on Little Women, David Hassid/Annie Christopher on Left Behind, and Aleksandr/Carrie on Sex and the City.

My favorite periods in history are the Tudor period and the French and Russian revolutions.
