Personal life motto: Anything worth doing is worth doing badly at first.

Oh, man, it has been a long time since I've started this profile! And jeebies, a lot of things have changed! There's not a lot to say about me. There's a bit more to say about my stories, however, that I think must be said.

Firstly, I am deeply sorry to any and all readers (not a lot, I'm pretty sure, but still) who are still waiting on updates for specific stories. When I was younger (and still, to a great extent now), I would write sporadically and when the mood struck me. I sucked at planning and organizing stories, and my attention jumped from one project to the next. And then, very often, it would fly back around to the original project. And then the process would repeat all over again. My permanent interest in stories I write is very rarely damaged, but a lot of times, it'll just shift, and unfortunately, I am not disciplined enough to continue with something until I finish it... It's embarrassing and I don't like that quality about myself, and am trying very hard to work on changing it. But, regardless, that's the reason updates haven't been happening.

To continue on that topic, there are some stories that I just haven't had inspiration for. Some of the stories I've written were definitely more spur of the moment thing, and I had no real plan, or had a plan which I now have no desire to continue with. That being said, I absolutely hate it when an author will take down an unfinished fic I like that they have no intention of finishing. I still like reading what is written for that fic, even if there's no way it'll ever be finished, and I know other people share those feelings about unfinished fics that they like. So, that in mind, I've decided I'm not going to take any of my old fics down for any reason, even if I don't end up finishing a lot of them. There's a lot of sentimental value in all those fics I've written, and I still enjoy going over them occasionally, myself. And who knows? Maybe I will discover some long lost inspiration for them and get them finished one day!

Also on the note of unfinished fics--and there's no pressure for anyone to do this--if anyone wants to translate or finish any of my unfinished fics (the ones that haven't been updated in a while), they have my explicit permission and blessing to do so. All I ask is that they send a PM to ask about the specific fic and let me know they would like to finish/translate/etc. it. Again, I don't expect anyone to want to do this, but the offer's still there.

On a more general note, I try to make sure now that I at least have a plan for my stories before I post them (if they're going to be longer than oneshot length), so that I don't end up posting a fic that I run out of steam writing halfway through. But, as much as I'm trying to be regular about posting updates, what with college and other things going on, sometimes I just don't have time to work on updates. And sometimes, I'll just have writer's block or will suffer from a lack of inspiration for a particular chapter, and that might delay updates as well. I will try to avoid this, but I can't promise that it won't happen. Like the leaving fics unfinished thing, I'm trying to work with myself to fix this too, I promise.

And now for something completely different!

I love writing, and my stories could range anywhere from romance to adventure to zany and stupid. I used to be big on the romance scene (especially slash fics) and I still love incorporating romance (slash or otherwise) in many fics, but now I've broadened my creative horizons, and will include other stories as well.
