*Chappy 3 up!* Riku's sitting by the ocean thinking..when something catches his eye...

Sora, Kairi, and Riku are planning a getaway trip to unknown destinations, but on the eve of their departure a terrible storm appears, whisking Sora's friends away. Sora must embark on a quest to save his friends before it's too late...

What happened when Sora fell into darkness? Someone tries to reach out to him, aside from Kairi, and helps him in the right direction...

I never did see Riku's parents in the game, and I don't think that they were ever mentioned. Thus here is my dark take on things, with a little surprise thrown in. Angsty Riku fic.
