(Tyrian)
He hated this, he hated it so much.
Not the fact that he's currently running for his life, but because he and Hazel failed miserably to do their job. The job given to them by their goddess, Salem. He was embarrassed, sad, and most importantly pissed beyond all belief. That damned target was far more skilled and powerful than he thought, able to match both him and Hazel.
They had the advantage, sure, but he had surprises. How can a person have multiple Semblances? Fire and now Steam? Or was he using Dust? Tyrian still felt a stinging sensation in his face, even though his Aura blocked the fire attack.
He sprinted, ducking under a tree branch and cutting the leaves in front of him. Hazel is still back there, which means he'll most likely die. Tyrian liked the big guy, but his survival is more important in his eyes. After all, if Hazel refuses to see the greatness of the Black Queen, then he might as well be a sacrifice for someone who cares.
As he ran, he checked how much Aura he has with his scroll, gritting his teeth as he saw that it was in the red. If he had stayed any longer, he would've been killed or caught no doubt. And that's not mentioning how tired he felt with his low Aura.
Suddenly and very unusually for the trained warrior, his foot caught something, making him trip and fall down face-first. He tried to get up, but a tree root caught his ankle. He immediately cut the root down, getting up as fast as he can to continue running.
"You know…" The voice of pursuer spoke. "As fun as chasing you down is, I'd rather be done with it already."
Tyrian took a step back as a bored-looking Qrow was in front of him, his blade over his shoulder.
"How?!" Tyrian demanded. "How did you get here so fast?!"
"Listen here friend, I'm gonna give you a chance." Qrow ignored him, which only angered him more. "We can do this the easy way. Take off your weapons and put them d-"
The madman charged, swinging the Queen's Servants at the Huntsman. Qrow easily deflected the attack, then kneed him in the stomach. Before Tyrian could retaliate, the Huntsman used the pommel of his sword to strike Tyrian's chin. The madman felt dizzy, the attack too powerful for his weakened Aura, and then was struck down with a punch to the face.
Tyrian's Aura flashed purple then shattered as he hit the tree behind him. He felt weak, trying to get up. He knew he couldn't win, especially against a huntsman with a full Aura. The last thing he heard before being knocked unconscious was the muttering of his opponent.
"Hard way it is…"
(Qrow)
Looking over the unconscious body of Tyrian, he sighed. He was too low on Aura and used the remaining bits to try and escape. Anyone would've done the same really, but you can't run away from bad luck… and someone who can fly. Qrow just needed to be near him, and his Semblance kicked in.
Qrow lost count of how many times he's seen people slip mid-fight. Sometimes it's hilarious, other times it's horrifying. Depending on who slipped really.
Useless fucking Semblance…
He shook his head. He can wallow in misery once he's done with his job.
Qrow took out Aura-blocking cuffs from his hip bag, then cuffed Tyrian near a tree. This should keep him in place if he wakes up…
He transformed into his bird form and flew to where the explosions are coming from. Over the trees, he could see a blue, fiery glow in the distance, and heading there, he landed on a branch as he saw Hazel getting utterly thrashed around.
The glow of the dust in his arms faded, indicating that they're out of power, and all his increased strength and speed faded along with them. Hazel was panting as the kid side-stepped from a jab, then slashed at his chest and kicked Hazel a distance away.
Qrow was satisfied with watching, seeing that the kid isn't having any trouble handling this at all.
Hazel was on one knee, breathing heavily as his Aura flickered. He barely had any more Aura from the looks of it, and the kid is toying with him. He walked towards the tired Hazel, then kicked him in the face, shattering his Aura and breaking his nose, then Reid stomped on his face, grinding his foot. Qrow grimaced at the brutality, deciding that he should probably interfere before things get out of hand.
He changed back to his human form, walking slowly towards the two.
"Alright kid, that's enough." He said. "We need him for interrogation."
Reid didn't answer, but he did stomp on his face again. Hazel groaned in pain, his bloodied face contorting in agony.
"Kid, I said that's enough," Qrow demanded, his eyes narrowing.
"...Sure, whatever." He muttered, stepping back. "Fucking hypocrite…"
Qrow did not know what he meant by that, or if it was even aimed at him, but he did not appreciate it. He kept his mouth shut, however, and pulled out his scroll to call Ozpin.
"Did you kill Tyrian?" Reid suddenly asked, looking at him.
"I didn't."
He then turned to Hazel's bloodied form. "We should probably kill one of them. Just in case."
"And risk losing the information we're getting from them?" Qrow raised a brow. "You sure this is a good idea?"
"One of them is enough." He shrugged. "And if we let them both live, then they might escape. I'm sure you don't want to deal with them again, right?"
...He's not exactly wrong, but still, any information about Salem is a boon. One of them might know more than the other, and Qrow isn't about to risk it for a 50/50. Once they get what they want, they can just execute them.
"Ah, Qrow." Ozpin suddenly said from the scroll. "Any news?"
"Yeah." He nodded. "We got S-"
"MOVE!"
Before Qrow could comprehend what just happened, Reid dashed and pushed him away, and when he blinked, he saw a white and red-figure where he was. Qrow's scroll was thrown away, but he flipped and crouched low to see what happened.
Qrow's pupils shrank in fear as he saw Reid's arm ripped off, with a Beowulf covered head-to-toe with bone-like armor, having said arm in its maw. Reid took a few steps back before falling on his knees, holding the bloody stump with his other arm.
The kid let out a piercing and horrifying pained scream, and Qrow didn't need to look at his face to see the immense agony he was feeling. His trembles and quivers were enough as an indicator, but that didn't stop him. Fenrir threw the arm away, and before it could finish its job, Reid slammed his fist into the ground, and an eruption of brilliant blue flames enveloped the Titan.
Reid, still shaking, used a fire spell to propel himself, grabbing Qrow by the collar and escaping at incredible speeds… is what he thought.
The Titan Fenrir was already on their tail and was catching up as well. With a roar, Reid threw Qrow away as he used a fire blast to sent him flying. The fire didn't hurt him, but the force of it did a little. Qrow slammed into a tree far away from the monster, but he got up quickly, turning into his bird form to get back and try to at least let him escape.
What the fuck is he thinking?! He thought in panic. Why the hell would he save me?!
It was shocking, Qrow thought. A kid he barely knew, sacrificing his own life to save a guy like him. What would he gain from this? He was still young… not even twenty years old from his mannerism, and he saved someone who barely had anything to live for anymore.
Fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK! Qrow was afraid. Afraid that another life will be lost because of him. Gods, please don't die!
He has lived with so much guilt, and he doesn't want to add another name to the ever-expanding list of people that died because of him.

I narrowly evade the monster's claw, using my remaining arm to back-flip away from it. Mid-flip, I take out a Senzu from my inventory, eating it as I land. The stump that was my arm then lets out a weird sound-
"HOLY FUCK!" I scream in agony as the arm regenerates forcefully, gasping for air as sweat trails down my brow.
Is this what Piccolo feels like every time he regenerates?!
Jesus Christ...
The Titan turns its head towards me, letting out a small growl.
Haha… this isn't great for me, is it?

Definitely not great for me.
Fucking hell, even with every increase, I'll only barely be able to match it in speed… unless…
If I use every single stat point I have now on DEX, I'll boost it to 307, and with every boost… Around 1165. I… can do this. I can win.
202 + 105 = 307 DEX
Perk gained
[Supernatural Agility] – 250 DEX
Movement speed, jumping speed, and jumping distance are doubled
I grin slightly, even though I feel extremely nervous inside. That means I move at the speed of someone with 614 DEX… I think.
I just… need to find a way to drink-
With my enhanced Haki, I was able to parry the incoming claw of the Titan, then I circle around it, slashing at its thick bone armor. I tested, and Wolfsbane counts Beowolves as wolves, so the triple damage applies… but I didn't even scratch it. I use a Fire Burst to launch me back, then turn around and run as fast as I can, using fire magic to propel me faster.
A glance behind me confirmed to me that I'm outrunning it, and I abruptly change trajectory and turn left. Rolling on the ground, I pull out an All-Stat potion and gulp it as fast as I can, increasing all of my stats by 112%. I feel the power coursing through me, and knowing that I don't have enough time till Fenrir arrives, I get into a defensive stance.
The Titan blurs and appears in front of me, aiming its razor-sharp claws at my neck, but I was able to parry it easily seeing that I was prepared, then throw my blade in a stabbing motion, grinning as I was able to crack the armor with pure force.
Fenrir growls and grabs the blade, and before I could analyze its next movement, I feel my entire body burn. I immediately let go of Wolfsbane as the electricity it emitted managed to take out 1400 Aura in a single second. With my hands singed, Fenrir stabs me in the shoulder, piercing my Aura with its claw, and another wave of electricity makes me scream.
My Semblance activates, as does my Adrenaline perk, then I grab its head and release an over-charged Fire Burst to its face. It didn't budge, but the electricity stopped enough for me to escape from its grasp. As Fenrir howls, it crouches on all fours, growling as lightning sparks envelop it.
Oh great, it can use lightning magic. That's just fantastic- Aaaand it just threw away my sword. Wow, this is going swimmingly.
Knowing my spare iron longsword won't do jack shit to it, both of my hands burst into bright blue fire, my eyes narrowing behind my mask. Okay, you're much faster than it, and you have Haki to back you up… and you only have a few seconds before the steam thing starts damaging you.
Fenrir roars and blurs, my eyes widening at how faster it is than me as it smacked me with its paw. I flip backward, digging my feet into the ground as only three seconds are left before my semblance starts hurting me. I crouch and bring both of my hands together, sharpening my senses to their limits, and once Fenrir was in view, I use all of my MP into the detonation, releasing a light-elemental steam blast that sent it flying. The giant trees behind it were either burnt or broken from the heat and pure force. The ground had light particles hovering above it, but the scorch marks were easy to see.
Checking on its stats, my jaw drops as I see it was barely damaged. That only did 7K damage. My light steam burst only damaged it by this much?!
Game, what the fuck?!
The armor, you fool.
...You mean the armor protects it?
...You cannot be serious- what do you think the armor is for? Aesthetics?
I thought magic ignored armor or something! I can understand weapons, but magic too?!
Magic does not pierce all armor you fool. You are not playing a game, you're still living in a world where physics still applies to a certain degree.
If you want to live, I suggest changing how you view the world before it's too late.
...Fuck.
God fucking damn it.
"Kid!" Qrow arrives from the skies, looking at me in relief. "You're still alive. Come on, now's our chance to run!"
I click my tongue and throw him an All-Stat potion. "We can't. That thing is fast as fuck, faster than the both of us. We need to end it, here and now."
"Are you out of your fucking mind?!" He shouts. "Twelve Hunters couldn't scratch it, and you think we have a chance?!"
"You either help me get rid of it, or we die trying to run away!" I scream at him. "Drink what I gave you, quickly! It'll give us a fighting chance!"
Anger. Worry.
Not now, Gwyn. You're a surprise attack.
"Damn it, Kid!" Qrow growls, but complies and drinks the potion. "If we fucking die, I'm dragging you to hell with me!"
I let out a laugh as Fenrir rushes me with a howl. I create a thin fire whip from my finger, I guess a string is more appropriate to say, then wrap it around its legs and pull. The Grimm stumbles, giving me the chance to dash towards it. Grabbing its head, I release a Fire Cannon, creating a small crater underneath us. Fenrir seemed unbothered as it threw its claw towards me, but I narrowly dodge it, then use my Haki-infused feet to stomp on its head.
Fenrir roared and released a pillar of lightning that enveloped me whole. My Aura immediately hit zero, and as my health started dropping terrifyingly fast, I get away from it by launching myself back with fire. However, the Titan was relentless, already in front of me as it continuously swung its lightning claws. I duck and weave, but I got hit way too many times, my cloak and leather armor ripping slowly.
Fortunately, my ally finally realized what the fuck just happened and dashed in to help, getting in front of me and parrying a sure-kill strike. I duck under Qrow, throwing both hands towards the Grimm, casting a double Fire Burst. The force was able to throw it off balance, and Qrow used the chance to use all his strength for a clean slash. Fenrir was still significantly faster than Qrow, but the Huntsman was able to quickly change his sword to its scythe form, then sweep it off its legs.
Before it hit the ground, I release a fully charged, two-handed Fire Cannon, hitting it square in the face. The explosion of the spell wasn't harmful to us, and it sent the Titan flying back.
With a few seconds of comfort we have, I take out Mana, Aura, and Health potions. All of them restored my reserves by 50%. A check with Observe told me that it's 32,000 points down, and I felt my confidence rise again. The cracks are helping magic get inside and damage it.
And it's so squishy from the inside.
We can do this.
We can win!
Then, all of the sudden, I felt myself flying backward, my head breaking multiple trees from the force. I spit out blood as I was sprawled over the ground, clutching my chest as I feel something missing-
Oh…
Looking in front of me, I see my beating, bloody heart on the ground.
Checking my stats, I could only stare in horror as my HP falls down faster than ever before. I panic, barely being able to move as I cough, hack, and vomit blood. I slowly take out an HP potion, feeling my vision darken as I barely manage to stay conscious. Fortunately, the potion managed to fix the hole in my chest, and even regenerate my heart back.
I gasp, clutching my chest as I feel tears of terror running down my cheeks. My entire body was shaking uncontrollably, and for the first time, my bloodlust was gone so abruptly, only to be replaced by true fear. I feel myself calm down, and I know that it's the work of Gamer's Mind. I am still afraid, still shaking, but not as much as before.
...Just… a few seconds and I could've died. I saw my HP hit the double digits…
If I was late for only a second, I…
My eyes widen as I finally collect my thoughts. Getting back on my feet, I sprint forward as a pit in my stomach forms.
I grit my teeth as the low magical signature of Qrow lowers even further. No…
No no no no no…
As I arrive, I freeze as I see Fenrir stabbing Qrow right in the chest. The Huntsman had a look of horror as he lets go of his sword, gazing down at the bloody claws that's through him.
For a split second, I see the claws spark with electricity, which only spurred me into action.
Before the Titan could shock Qrow to death, I dash forward, bringing both of my hands towards its armored face to release a double Light Beam. Fenrir howls in pain, taking a few steps back as the plunged claws were taken out from the Huntsman. I didn't give it a chance to retaliate, shooting a Light Beam after a Light Beam. The armor protects it from the full brunt of the attack, but it was still dazed and couldn't fight back.
With my mana running low, I overcharge a Fire Cannon, then grab its face and release all the remaining mana I have, cracking its bone helmet whilst also sending it flying back.
I turn to Qrow, who was barely hanging onto life as blood leaks from him and into the grass, painting it crimson. I take out a health potion, forcing him to drink it. He does so, then his eyes open wide as he gasps, panting, trying to breathe. I let out a deep sigh of relief at that, thinking I was too late.
"T-thank god…" I mutter. "T-that was close… too fucking close…"
I turn back to where Fenrir flew as Qrow coughs, him too shaking in fear as he gripped his blade again.
"G-Gwyn…" I say quietly.
Qrow yelps as my familiar appear out of nowhere, stepping back as he grips his sword tighter.
Gwyn growls, his anger aimed at me.
"Not now…" I mutter, calming myself.
In hindsight, I really should've listened and run away, but my damned bloodlust got the better of me. I was confident I can win, but only because I saw its stats and not what it can do. A dumb mistake that could've and would've got me killed if I wasn't so lucky.
"What… is that?" Qrow asked, nodding towards my familiar.
"He's with me…" I let out a calming breath, trying to come up with any plan that could work as I throw him an Aura potion. "Here, drink this."
Running away now is impossible, especially with its increased speed. My blood cooled down again when I healed before because the Titan's very presence is letting every hair in my body stand on end. It's dangerous, and I was careless to underestimate it vastly. The mana in its stats should've been an obvious indicator, and when it used lightning for the first time, that should've been my clue that this isn't something I can take on right now… but I didn't know it can buff itself.
Name: Fenrir
DEX: 963 [+150% = 2407]
Fucking hell.
The only reason I was able to keep up with it was through my stat increases, new perk, and Chaos Conversion.
I… need to break its armor somehow. It's reducing all the damage we inflict by a lot. If it didn't have the armor, it would've been killed a while ago.
The best way to break armor is with blunt weapons or attacks, but I don't have a club or anything like that. I think I can break at least one part, the helmet specifically, with my fists. Over 400 STR is no joke, but I need to hit it consecutively, not once or twice, and it's very fast for me to do so.
...Maybe…
It's worth a try.
"Qrow, listen," I say. "Turn into your bird form and fly as high as you can. I'll trap it in place and damage its helmet a good bit, then you'll bring down your sword on its head."
"How will you stop it?" He asks.
"I know a spell," I answer. "Just trust me. If we're lucky, you could cleave its head into two."
He looks at me, unsure of what to do, before nodding slowly. "Don't fuck this up."
"I don't plan to…" I mutter, seeing smoke envelop him whole as he transforms. He flies high up a second later, then I turn my glance to Gwyn. "Gwyn, you're our failsafe. If we don't pull this off, get us out of there, or try to stop it."
He barks in affirmation.
"Good, here's a potion." I throw him an All-Stat potion. "Get ready. Here it comes."
As Fenrir howls, I take a deep breath before sprinting to meet it head-on, narrowly dodging a hurled spear of lightning. I evade a swing directed at my neck by twisting my body, then grab its neck and force it to stare into my red eyes. I instantly cast a Genjutsu, smirking widely as I see it freeze like a statue.
My Genjutsu manipulates magic instead of Chakra... and what are Grimm made of again?
If my theory is correct, then Genjutsus are far more effective against Grimm than normal humans with magic.
Knowing that using magic would only make the Sharingan deactivate faster, therefore unable to keep it in an illusion for too long, I channel my Haki into my arms, turning them pitch-black as I clench my fists.
I throw a right hook straight to its face, then a left hook, a jab, uppercut, right, left, right, left, right, left. I keep punching it over and over and over again, cracking the helmet slowly but surely. Relentlessly and mercilessly, I chip away at its helmet, using every ounce of my strength to damage it. I can feel my Aura getting damaged from how powerful the punches are. Still staring at it, I take out a mana potion to drink, so I can keep my Genjutsu active.
One whole minute of smashing its helmet, Fenrir twitches, then roars as it explodes into lightning. I back away immediately, gritting my teeth, but smirk as I glance at the falling form of Qrow.
"Hahaha…" I chuckle condescendingly. "Not so tough now, are you?"
It growls, then lets out a powerful roar of anger, and as it charges, Qrow brings his sword down on it… but it catches the attack with one arm.
My eyes widen in fear as Fenrir prepares an electric shock, but Gwyn comes to the rescue and bites its other arm, his sharp teeth cracking the bone armor. I take the chance of it being busy with the two to deliver a powerful blow, but it didn't budge.
It was, however, sent flying when I opened my clenched fist, casting Fire Burst directly in its face.
Best spell ever…
"Alright, your planned failed," Qrow stated, landing next to me. "Any other genius ideas?"
"Shut up, I'm thinking."
"Woof!"
"Stop. Talking!"
A check through Observe tells me that it only has 20K HP remaining. An entire minute of punching managed to bring it down that much. It's a little bit over 400 per hit, sure, but add in the Chaos Conversion, which is was maxed in the fight, 30% for Haki, and the increasing 5% of Martial Artists, I dealt at least a bit over 1000 per hit… and I hit it a lot.
Blunt force is always better against armored foes.
...But that only pissed it off even more. Because holy shit all of its stats just doubled, thankfully excluding DEX.
Okay, this is a chance to get my Aura back-
My Haki warns me, and I manage to bring up both of my arms to defend myself from its claws. Armament barely does anything as its sharp claws dug into my flesh, but before I could retaliate, it sprinted forward, pushing me back as my health slowly dwindles with everything my back collides with.
The lightning magic it has been using the entire fight is far weaker now, as it's currently only capable of creating small sparks. Nonetheless, I am powerless to slow it down, and while my MP is slowly coming back, I can't cast another Genjutsu to stop it.
Blood drips down from my arms and chest as the claws slowly dig into them, yet I can't do anything…
We are going too far too fast for Qrow and Gwyn to help, especially considering we're making countless obstacles of broken trees on the way. All I can do is plant my feet, grit my teeth, and use every ounce of my low MP to heat up my body. Surprisingly, and albeit barely, that did slow it down as it caught on fire. With its helmet half-destroyed, I smirk and create a simple fireball, then aim my hand towards its face, ripping my arms away from its razor-sharp claws.
I bite down a scream of agony, shakily chuckling instead.
"Fuck you."
With a fireball blasting directly in front of its face, the remaining part of its armor finally breaks down, and it even slows down considerably. I clench my fists, my vision darkening a bit as I cough and hack, feeling the coppery taste of blood in my mouth.
Then, I throw a right hook. Then a left, a right, a left, a right, a left, a right, a left. Over and over, until I barely have any energy left to even breathe. For the first time in in this fight, I feel the sun over me as the thicket of the forest that was previously blocking it out has seemingly cleared away. I slowly turn my head behind me, only to see myself at the edge of a cliff. Looking down, I see the calm ocean wash over the rocks underneath us.
Am I really gonna die like this?
My HP was a little under 200, and the pain I was feeling fades away. I struggle to keep my eyes open, throwing a weak punch, but it ultimately does nothing.
...Well, at least the view behind me is nice…
And this is definitely the better way to die. Way better than having my fucking heart punched out.
"Y-you know…" I cough, spitting out blood. "At l-least... I broke through t-that... fucking armor of yours…"
Just as I was finally losing consciousness, feeling my cold blood warming up again, I hear a faint scream in the distance, then suddenly, I am jolted out of my trance as I see the tip of a blade right in front of my face. I slowly move my head to see what's happening, my blurry sight making out a figure behind Fenrir, a figure that ran his sword through the armored Titan's abdomen.
"Y-you're fucking late, you asshole…" I chuckle at Qrow, feeling slightly guilty as he looks at me in horror.
"No…" He whispers, letting go of the sword. "Oh, gods..."
Crack!
"...Huh?"
Now, all of a sudden I'm facing upwards, looking at the orange dyed skies of the setting sun, feeling the wind hitting my back
"NO!"
Before I can comprehend what's happening, the claws that are plunged into my chest are finally out of me, and I am suddenly underwater. I gasp as the game notifies me of whatever, but my survival instincts take hold of me and forcefully take out a healing potion. Seeing that my HP isn't dwindling anymore, and instead, regenerating, I take out the cork and stick the vial into my mouth before its contents spill out into the ocean.
I was about to swim back up, but the messages from the Game stop me, and instead, I pull an MP potion, drink it, then target the damned Beowulf that's currently deep underwater.

Feeling rejuvenated, I swim back to land, immediately falling down on my back on the shore, breathing heavily.
I'm not tired, but… that was fucking terrifying. I was so close to dying so many times and would've died if I didn't think quickly. Without my Hybrid race or Light Magic, there's no way I could've won.
I uh… I need a moment to rest.
Congratulations. You won.
Thanks… I guess…

I try to take off my mask, but it wasn't there, making me scowl in annoyance. Did I lose it? Fucking hell…
I shake my head, the fear of death finally dissipating, and bring up my stats, smiling slightly at the power boost.

All in all, this fight didn't go as perfectly as I hoped, but it was worth it.
7/10 probably gonna do it again… next time prepared.
...Hopefully.
dying is fucking scary…
Maybe I should… delay my dungeon dive. I have the key, and I already know where it is, so I can just go back and take a nice, long nap...
You're definitely having nightmares.
I'm definitely having nightmares.
...Maybe not a nap, but a bath instead. Or I can just keep working on my golems. I'll take an explosion over this any day… Even though it was fun.
Seriously, I was excited, pissed, and scared out of my fucking mind the entire time. I settled on fear because it made me act like an intelligent human being, not a fucking maniac that wildly flails his arms around.
Oh, there were so many times where the damned flaw whispered, but fear set me straight, and I knew that listening to that will only get me killed.
It was like… my instincts were battling it out. The wild side of me wanted me to beat the living shit out of it with its own arm, and the other, more human side, wanted me to focus on actually staying alive.
"You're alive…" Qrow's voice whispers from behind me as I stand up. "Thank the gods…"
"No, fuck the gods." I spit out with a scowl. "They're to blame for every problem in this fucking world. Including me almost dying."
Qrow barks out a laugh, one filled with relief and joy. As I sigh, my familiar pounces at me as he licks my face, and I can detect the overwhelming relief he was feeling.
"I'm okay, Gwyn." I chuckle. "A little spooked, but still okay."
"Dumb kid." Qrow shakes his head in exasperation. "You know how dangerous that was?"
"Hey, we're still alive, aren't we?" I smirk, petting the wolf. "Not only that, but we killed a Titan. A fucking Titan died by our fucking hands."
"That was all you, kid." He sighs. "I barely did anything to help. You two were just… out of my league."
"Qrow, take the fucking compliment." I frown. "If you weren't there, I would've died."
"If you weren't there, I would've died."
I laugh. "If I wasn't there, you wouldn't be in this mess in the first place."
"Reid, take the fucking compliment."
"Oh, you can fuck right off!" I laugh harder. "I'm not deflecting the compliment, it's literally a fact!"
Qrow smirks at me before letting out a deep sigh. "I'm guessing you lost the sword?"
"Yup." I shrug. "And it wasn't me who lost it. It was Fenrir."
He rubs the bridge of his nose with another, deeper sigh. "Ruby is gonna kill me…"
"You go on ahead," I tell him. "I'll stay here and search for it."
"You sure you'll be fine alone?" He asks.
"Who the hell do you think you're speaking to?" I glare at him half-heartedly. "You're speaking to the greatest, bravest, and most handsome Titan Slayer to have ever existed."
He rolls his eyes. "Right, whatever. Do you have a scroll-"
Just then, the sounds of a bullhead are heard in the distance, making us both sigh in relief.
"Speak of the devil…" I mutter, spotting Ozpin in the flying vehicle.
