After hitting a paranormal and Grimm dry spell after the battle against Salem and being forced to close down, five years later, the Grimmbusters must soon get back together to face a new threat to save the world on New Year's Eve. Rated T just to be safe

In 1984, a team of scientists lose their cushy positions at a university in Atlas, they decide to become "grimmbusters" to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural and Creatures of Grimm for money. They stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, a doorway that will release evil upon the city. The Grimmbusters must now save New York from complete destruction.

17 years after team RWBY stopped Salem, paranormal activity skyrockets, and its up to their children to strap on the pack, give the spooks a zap, and slam them in the trap. (I fixed the grammer errors) Story is still based off the original GB movies, the equipment is still based off the 2016 movie, except the PKE meter.

When The Ghostbusters are wrapping up their stay in Summerville Oklahoma, they soon discover that they have a connection to the original Ghostbusters and their secret legacy.
