These are a few of my favorite scenes from Voyager, written from the characters' perspectives after my first re-watch of the series. All are scenes between the Captain and members of her crew.

a 5 mini-episode series of stories starting after season 5's episode "Someone to Watch Over Me" where Janeway gets Seven to try dating again - her. LOTS of fluffy romantic times, even if they do live on Voyager in the frequently hostile Delta Quadrant. Originally written 2001-2004.

"We did it," she breathes, and Chakotay is not to her left. A stunned silence descends over the Bridge. She cannot tear her eyes away from the viewscreen but she feels herself acutely, peculiarly alone, center-stage. [Janeway and Chakotay try to reconcile the choices he's made. A J/C Endgame/Post-Endgame character study of sorts.]

Kathryn is transported to a mirror universe and has now taken command of the Rebel Fleet, battling her evil counterpart in a desperate struggle to free the galaxy from human domination. Fueled by grief and an ever-present desire for revenge, how can she keep herself from becoming exactly what she fears the most?

Episode tag for "The Killing Game". Janeway, Chakotay and the rest of the crew start remembering what they went through during the three weeks of simulations the Hirogen put them through. J/C Romance, Angst.

A late night chat with a friend may not be able to fix everything . . . but it helps. Another installment in my accidental series exploring depression via Kathryn Janeway. CW: includes mentions of suicide, though no intent of it by either character. Rated T for that only, but otherwise K.

Kathryn is injured but insists on leaving Sickbay, disregards the Doctor's orders to rest and returns to duty instead. Chakotay doesn't agree with her decision which leads to a disagreement. But with her injuries she might not be thinking as clearly as she believes. Maybe listening to the Doctor isn't such a bad idea. Part of my Sickbay Buddy series but can be read as a standalone.
