Epilogue
couple of hours later Derek and Penelope looked up from their sleeping son to see everybody standing at the door, Fran said, "you up for visitors"?, Penelope said, "of course, you guys get on in here". As they walked closer they were all smiles, they couldn't believe that the baby was finally here, little Hank Spencer Morgan was finally here".
Derek said, "he weighed in at 6 lbs 5 oz and was 21 inches long", Dave said, "he's gonna be a heart breaker for sure when he gets older", Penelope laughed and said, "just like his father". Derek said, "heyyyyyyy now woman I am a one woman man now and she is the love of my life, my wife and the mother to our first chld".
Penelope smiled as he leaned down and kissed her lips gently and when they pulled apart Penelope said, "Fran would you like to hold your grandson, you've waited a long time for this". Fran stepped closer and said, "I would love to hold him again, don't forget I held him first and Derek said, "that time doesn't count momma, you were delivering him" and everybody laughed.
While Fran was holding the baby everybody stepped closer and grinned as they looked at Hank, he was a shade lighter than Derek and a shade darker than Penelope so he was the perfect combination of both his mommy and his daddy.
As Penelope laid there looking around at everybody she knew that she was the luckiest woman in the world to have such amazing family and friends that would always be there for her. Her life might not have started out perfect but now with being married to Derek and having Hank and all of the other amazing people that were around her she was indeed leading almost a perfect life, or as close as she was going to get anyway.
It seemed like Penelope got things started with Hank, next came JJ and Reid adding another son named Michael Reid and then a daughter named Megan so their house was full of family and love. Hotch and Emily had another son named Nathan not long after JJ gave birth to Michael and of course Nathan and Michael are the best of friends.
Sarah got married to a wonderful man named Lionel New and is now the proud mommy of twins Misty and Marie New and they are the spitting image of their mommy, a fact that please their father. Desi met and married a new member of the team named Luke Alvez and his not the proud mommy of a little boy named Mateo and a little girl named Michelle.
Derek and Penelope added to their family 3 more times after Hank, first with Sophia Grace, then with Zachary Tyler and then finally with Jasmine Francine aka Jazzy. Their family was indeed blessed and overflowing and Penelope wouldn't have changed any of it either, she loved her life and her family and she wouldn't trade them for anything.
As she looked around the room she knew that everything she had now was all because of Thanksgiving, her first Thanksgiving with the Morgan's and after that she was Derek's hook, line and sinker and she couldn't have been happier about it because as she looked into the loving eyes of her sexy husband she knew that she had married the love of her life and then from there her life only got better.
