Three days went by and Chandra sat in DADA, watching Snape and Bellatrix walk around the room, glaring at the quiet students. Chandra kept a close eye on Snape. As he made his way to the back of the classroom he passed Draco, who looked to be asking him a question. Snape simply ignored him and quickly walked past him, opting instead to help Pansy with her work instead.

He walked out of Chandra's sight and she looked down to her parchment. It wasn't more than a minute until she felt someone behind her. She rolled her eyes and spoke in a whisper, through gritted teeth.

"Severus, I swear to God… I will end you if you touch me."

There was a low chuckle from behind her and she didn't even have time to apologize before she received a sharp slap to the back of the head. Chandra hissed in pain as she turned to look at Bellatrix.

"What the hell…"

"You called me severus."

"That fucking hurt…"

Bella gave her a sarcastic smile before looking across the room to Snape. She looked back to Chandra with an unamused expression.

"When are you going to tell me what you're up to? You've been watching him for days."

"I would have thought that you would be smart enough to figure it out by now."

"Oh I have. I've just been too busy to harass you for more information."

Chandra scoffed and looked back to her work. Bella rolled her eyes and whispered to her.

"Well, today is a very important day, so I don't want your little one woman mission to get in the way."

"What do you mean?"

"What's today?"

"Well, judging by it you haven't noticed today's date… I'm assuming you haven't gotten her anything?"

Chandra groaned lightly and threw her head back.

"Fuck…"

"Forgetting your cousin's birthday, such a shame."

Chandra looked at her with irritation evident on her face.

"Shut up."

Bella laughed shortly.

"So maybe you should take some time off from Draco's little wild goose chase?"

"Fine…"

Bellatrix kept an eye on Snape as she questioned Chandra.

"Have you even found out anything?"

"Other than him not wanting to even acknowledge anyone associated with our little group and him disappearing into the room of requirement every few days… no."

Bellatrix shrugged and walked away, continuing her patrol of the classroom. A few moments later Snape dismissed the class and Chandra walked to the door. As she passed him she dropped her parchment in his hand. She heard him grunt in disapproval as she left the classroom.

As she started to walk back to the dorms, she looked back to see Bella being rushed out of the Classroom. Snape gave her a rude look before closing the door. Bella clenched her jaw and rushed over to catch up with Chandra. The redhead looked at the dark witch with a raised brow.

"Is that the first time he has been like that to you?"

"Yes. So it is the whole group."

"Not quite… there's still someone who isn't exactly directly affiliated with us."

Bella gave her a confused look and Chandra grinned and gestured for her to follow her. They almost made it to their dorms, but turned toward the Slytherin Comonroom. As they reached the door Chandra stepped aside and gestured towards the door with a smile. Bella laughed a bit.

"Oh I doubt I would know the password, surely they would have changed it."

Chandra thought for a moment. It's Slytherin… maybe something about their attributes. Or maybe status. She hummed a bit in contemplation before turning to the entrance.

"Pure-blood."

The door opened and Chandra looked at Bella as they walked in.

"Did they change it?"

"No actually…"

As they walked in they looked at several slytherin students who stared at them as they froze in place. Bella laughed under her breath. Chandra scanned the room, not finding the person she was looking for. She looked at a student who stood by the fireplace.

"Where is Pansy?"

The girl jumped a bit but instantly pointed them in the right direction. As they passed her Bella shot her a sickeningly sweet smile. They walked down a short hall until they came to a door. When Chandra opened the door she became a bit envious. This girl had a private dorm. Chandra looked around until she finally found the girl glaring at them from her bed.

"What do you two want?"

Chandra grinned.

"A favor."

Pansy looked at her, then to the dark witch. Her eyes narrowed a bit and scoffed. Bella glared back and scrunched up her nose. Pansy returned her attention to the redhead.

"What is it?"

"Do you think you could follow Snape around for a day or two. We think he's up to something but he is being extra careful near all of us."

The slytherin thought for a moment before giving a sideways smile.

"I can do it.

Bellatrix raised a brow.

"That was rather fast… no details… nothing."

"Is there an issue with that? I'm helping a friend."

The girl glared at Bella, who returned the gesture. Seconds later Pansy rubbed her temple lightly and Bella scowled at Chandra.

"No, find some else…"

Chandra went rigid and spoke through a tight jaw.

"Stop invading people's minds! For fucks sake she is a student."

"Chandra…"

"Bella, she is the only choice we have at the moment…"

Bellatrix gritted her teeth and shot Pansy a cold glare as she left, deciding to just go to her dorm, leaving Chandra alone with the girl. Chandra shrugged as she looked at Pansy, who wasn't even phased by what just happened. She looked at Chandra and gave a weak smile.

"I don't even care what she knows…"

"Oh yes you do. Anyway… thank you for doing this for us."

Chandra turned to leave but stopped when Pansy spoke up.

"Can you give this to her?"

Chandra turned to see Pansy holding out a book to her. The redhead gave a confused look, earning an explanation from the girl.

"For her birthday, just say it's from you."

Chandra could just imagine how Bellatrix would react to this. Just the thought alone made her spine go cold, but nonetheless she took the book. She gave Pansy a small smile before she made her way out of the slytherin dormitories.
