As Chandra walked into Hermione's dorm she tucked Pansy's gift into her robe pocket. She looked around at the room full of people. There was Ginny, Luna, Draco, Harry, Ron, and even Neville. Bellatrix seemed to be keeping a good bit of distance away from the Longbottom boy.

As Chandra moved to lean against the wall next to Luna, she noticed Bellatrix giving her a questioning look. The redhead shook it off and instantly tried to put up a mental barrier just in case the dark witch tried invading her mind.

The night went on with everyone talking, and eating. Ginny laughed and joked with Luna and Neville made the room go silent for a moment when he walked up to Bella.

"Uh.. ms...Ms Black? If you don't mind can we t-"

Bellatrix cut him off shortly.

"I'm not refusing to talk, Longbottom, but it is the wrong time."

That seemed to be enough for the boy and he nodded, giving an awkward smile before he walked off to talk to Ron.

After about an hour of chatting with everyone Ginny sat on the table in front of Hermione, handing her a small package. Hermione smiled and opened it, pulling out a new inkwell. Ginny smiled as she explained her gift.

"Fred says it changes color depending on how you feel when you write. I thought that you might like it. If anything I know your cousin will probably use it alot."

Chandra laughed and gave a nod.

"I think it will always be red if I touch it."

Hermione placed it on the table and gave Ginny a tight hug, as Harry walked up handing her a bag.

"Sorry mione, it was wrapped up… but someone tried to eat some."

He nudged his head toward Ron who threw his hands up as he was outed. Hermione looked in the bag to see a huge variety of sweets and candies. She smiled up to Harry and he gave her a slight hug. As Harry walked back over to Ron Neville spoke up.

"I'll be honest, I forgot about today until the last minute. But I'm still here."

"Thank you Neville."

Chandra looked at Bella shortly before she landed up and handed Hermione the book.

"From me and Luna. I'm not gonna lie, its extremely last minute. Just a book I had and never picked up."

Hermione looked at it and back at her with a strange look.

"You've had a copy of Alice in Wonderland… and never read it?"

"Yeah."

"It's a children's story…"

"I can take it back."

"No, I love it. I just found it strange that you haven't read it."

Chandra shrugged as her head began to hurt. She knew Bella was trying to snoop but she was determined not to let her, out of fear of what would happen to her and Pansy.

"I don't have to read it. I already have the acid trip of a movie."

Hermione shrugged and smiled.

"Thank you Chandra."

Bella gave Chandra a suspicious look and the redhead turned the attention to her.

"Well Bella, did you get her anything?"

Bella rolled her eyes at the redhead. She then grinned and looked at Hermione.

"You're going to have to wait about a week for my gift, pet. Cissy is quite excited about getting to plan it."

Bella grinned as the room went quiet. Everyone stared at them in silence, trying to process what they thought Bella was talking about. Eventually Chandra groaned and looked at Hermione's friend's.

"Oh come on. Did y'all think that ring was just some old piece of jewelry?"

The first one to even make a sound was Draco, who let out a relieved breath. Hermione gave him a weird look and the boy smiled.

"I'm finally going to have a normal family member."

"Oh come on, you have plenty of normal family members."

Bella gave her a strange look and she rolled her eyes.

"Nevermind."

Harry looked at her with a confused look.

"When did you even get engaged?"

"A few days ago?"

He nodded a bit.

"You two don't want to wait a bit before you actually get married?"

"No, I'm happy that its happening now."

Harry smiled.

"Well I'm happy for you."

The room went quiet again but Ginny looked like she was about to explode with excitement. Without any warning the room erupted with the gryffindor's shrill, happy voice.

"Can I be a bridesmaid. Pleaseee?!

Luna smiled.

"Oh me too?"

Chandra looked back at the two of them with an offended look.

"Yes, bridesmaids, we all know who the maid of honor will be."

Hermione smiled. She was ecstatic that her friends were okay with their choices. She was so excited to actually start doing things for the big day. She looked at Ginny and Luna, who were huddled together discussing the best types of dresses. She would need to get them calmed down a bit before any of it. Especially Ginny.

Bella gave Hermione a light squeeze, making Hermione look at her. The dark witch gave her a small smile.

"Are you nervous?"

"Not at all."

"Good, pet."

Bellatrix looked at the excited group and back to the brunette.

"How will you ever reign in your bridal party?"

Hermione sighed and smiled, looking at the girls as she spoke to Bella.

"I'm gonna need sweets, smokes, and alot of patience… I don't think the smokes would be going to Chandra this time."

"Oh, you believe them to be stressful?"

"As stubborn as Chandra is, and how excited Ginny is… yeah. Luna won't be an issue though."

Bella nudged her and when Hermione turned to look at her she captured her lips in a soft kiss. As they parted Bella smiled.

"They will do fine. And so will you."
