A week of classes and rude looks from students were enough to make Chandra a special kind of irritated. She sat in class tapping her wand against the side of her seat, while watching Snape. The professor dismissed class and disappeared down the corridor. Chandra looked across the room to pansy who just nodded. Chandra groaned as she got up from her seat.
"Here we go again."
The two women stuck to the shadows and a good distance behind Snape as they made their way down the crowded corridor. As the students began to thin out Snape turned the corner. Chandra and Pansy stopped at the corner and listened as they watched the last few students disappear from the corridor. They knew the professor was standing there, waiting to see if he was being followed, like many times before. Eventually the girls heard him start walking again. Chandra looked around the corner to see him enter the room of requirement. She turned back to Pansy, who was looking at the map with a bored look on her face.
"You okay?"
Pansy closed the map and looked at her.
"Yeah I'm just tired of patrol duty. When are we going to actually do something about him?"
"When we're sure about what's going on."
Pansy handed Chandra the map and started walking away. Chandra scrunched up her nose as she glared at her.
"What's your malfunction, Parkinson?"
"I just said I'm bored, Goldwing…"
Chandra jogged to catch up with the girl, turning to walk backwards as she got infront of her.
"My name is Chandra and something is wrong with you."
"Yeah just like my name is Pansy but you people seem to think it's ok to call me Parkinson."
Pansy shoved past her and Chandra stumbled back, looking at her.
"Is it because they're good now?"
Pansy stopped and looked back.
"I'd mind your business if I were you…"
Chandra rolled her eyes as she made her way to the girl. Pansy was red in the face as she glared at the redhead. Chandra had the urge to slap the look off of her face but she decided against it.
"Look, I'd just take it as a win that she seems to see you as a friend. She's happy with Bella. Is that not what you want?"
"Yes, it is. Now,we're going to stop talking about it and never bring it up again."
Chandra went to speak but was met with dull pain as Pansy's fist collided with her jaw. The redhead rubbed her jaw as her mouth filled with a coppery taste. She glared at Pansy and smiled as she opened her mouth, picking a tooth from the back of her mouth. She looked at the tooth and laughed roughly before spitting blood on the floor. Pansy never moved and stared at her with a look of pride on her face.
Pansy didn't have time to react before a thick boot slammed into her abdomen, sending her crashing against the wall, her wand falling next to her. As she went to grab it Chandra kicked it across the corridor.
"Get the fuck up! You started it like a muggle, finish it like a muggle!"
To Chandra's surprise Pansy was on her feet and tackling her to the floor within seconds. The two of them rolled around struggling to get a hit on each other before Chandra landed a right hook that made the slytherin's teeth rattle. Pansy hissed in pain before completely losing her temper. She landed blow after blow to chandra's face. She screamed out of irritation as she watched the Hufflepuff's face become more battered by the minute. Only getting even more angry when Chandra's smug grin never left her face. The slytherin landed a blow to Chandra's nose and grinned when she felt it crack under her knuckles and watched that stupid grin fade into a look of agony. Pansy went to swing again but was ripped up by the arm. She groaned loudly in angered protest as she watched Snape pull Chandra off the ground. Then it hit her… who was holding her back? She looked back and her whole body went stiff as she was met with Bella glaring at her.
"I didn't know you had it in you to do something like that, Parkinson."
"Let go of me!"
Pansy jerked her arm and Bella let go, causing her to fall.
"That's not what I meant…"
Bella shrugged and caught Chandra as she jerked free from Snape. The suspicious looking Professor eyed the three women.
"And just what are you three doing out in the corridor?"
Bellatrix gave him a shocked look.
"I do hope you're not speaking to me severus. I'm no student."
"Hm… no but I don't wish for people of…"
He looked to Chandra and back at Bellatrix.
"Your type… parading around the castle after dark."
Bellatrix clenched her jaw as Snape spoke again.
"Dumbledore may be dense enough to actually trust you two but I know you Bellatrix. You and your little lackey only have one true allegiance."
Chandra hissed as she let go of her nose. She turned to Snape, blood running down her face.
"Why don't you just shut the hell up."
"Tell me Chandra. What are you and Ms. Parkinson hoping to find? I'm not oblivious to my surroundings… first it was Mr. Malfoy, now you two."
Chandra glared at him, not willing to speak. Snape huffed and looked at the bloodied Hufflepuff.
"You're severely mistaken, I'm afraid. Mr. Malfoy has you on an endless mission."
Bellatrix shot him a cold look before dragging Chandra away, Pansy rushing to follow them down the corridor. The three of them were silent until they made it to the dorms. Bellatrix shoved Pansy towards the boys dorm. Pansy looked at her, confusion evident in her expression.
"Get them!"
Bellatrix turned and knocked loudly on Luna's door before dragging Chandra to her own dorm, slamming the door behind her. Pansy could hear Hermione's concerned and angry voice as she stood in the corridor. She couldn't hear what she was saying but the tone and volume made Pansy finally realize that she had gotten them caught. She turned and knocked hard on the boy's door, with tears in her eyes. After a few seconds Draco answered the door. He took one look at Pansy's face and turned to Ron who sat on the sofa.
"Get up, we have to go."
"Harry isn't back yet… what's going on?"
The two boys left the dorm and Pansy looked at them with pure confusion.
"Wait, where is Harry?"
Ron shrugged.
"He went to talk to Dumbledore a few hours ago, he's usually not gone this long… Is anyone going to tell me what's going on?"
"Snape."
Draco nodded.
"I told you all that something was going on."
He gestured towards Hermione's dorm.
"Shall we?"
Bella and Hermione's dorm
"Episkey"
Chandra let out a loud groan as her nose reset and let her head fall to Luna's shoulder, making the blond smile. Luna played with Chandra's hair as Bella stared at Pansy. The slytherin looked like a scared mouse as she stared back at Bellatrix, only feeling smaller when the dark witch screamed loudly.
"YOU TWO ARE IMMATURE IDIOTS! YOU MAY AS WELL HAVE RUINED EVERYTHING."
Hermione grabbed the dark witch's hand.
"Bella stop."
"No! Snape knows that they were watching him!"
"It doesn't mean anything, we didn't even know if he was up to som-"
She was cut off by a large crashing sound somewhere in the castle. As the sounds continued Chandra looked around the room at everyone's confused faces. The sounds of shattering glass and crumbling stone, echoing in her ears. Draco looked at her.
"I told you he was up to something!"
