"Check for rat traps." I say to one of my minions. The rat scurried back to the hole and disappears.
'Didn't think that would actually work.'
It seems that my magic makes them temporarily intelligent. Something to think about later.
I then noticed that one of the rats was carrying another one towards my mattress. I frown at the sight of the dying rat in front of me.
'These rats have really grown on me.'
It doesn't look like I could do anything.
"I could try pumping mana into it." I say, knowing it would be a far fetched idea.
I do so and notice its eyes light up bright blue.
[Familiar Bond Achieved]
[Name the newly founded Familiar]
I couldn't help but laugh at the luck I'm having.
'I deserve it for getting put in this situation in the first place.'
I then thought of all the names I could give it. One stuck out.
"It's name will be Shin."

I grin and quickly say "Familiars"

"Perfect, now I'm free to see beyond this cell. Freedom tastes good, even if it's a minor improvement." Onto my next plan. I then notice a rat dropping with a foul smelling piece of cheese. I then cast Observe on it.

'Sweet, just need to amplify it by a thousand if I want it to actually kill someone.' Definitely something to plan. I then saw that all the rats that were in the cell suddenly went back into the hole, except for Shin who hid behind the dingy mattress.
The door opened up right after and Ledstat, the smug bastard, came into my view.
"You still have that glare I see, how about a new game?" He says with a grin.
I tense, ready for physical violence. Seems he noticed by the widening of his grin. He then coughed and began again
"It's called 'beg for food'"
"..." I say nothing
The grin falters.
"You'll of course get blood… a week from now, or you could, y'know beg for some."
"Why are you doing this?" I ask calmly. His eyes widened at my voice
"So the dog barks?" He says rhetorically. He then takes a step closer.
"Because you're a stain on the Arya name." He then steps even closer
"You're just a bastard from some whore our father fucked."
[Gamer's Mind Activated]
'This man will die in agony, fuck poison.' The rage is still building up and I can't help but clench my fist. He noticed that as well but didn't say anything else. I'm extremely tempted to attempt to kill him now.
[Gamer's Mind Activated]
The rage leaves my body again, allowing me to calmly think about what I'm doing.
'He will get what's coming to him'
"See ya in a week, doggy!" He gives one more smirk before turning around and slamming the door.

I glance at the words and nod my head in determination.
'First I need blood, which I think I have a plan for.'
I then speak out loud.
"Rat's, come to me" Like magic all the rats come pouring out of the hole. A lot more than last time came, which surprised me.
I turn to Shin and ask him
"Is there a bird bath in the garden?" He gets on his hind legs and nods his head. I smile at that and turn to another one.
"Put this cheese in the birdbath." I then hand the rat a chunk of the cheese. It grabs it with his teeth. "Make sure to not swallow it." I add after an afterthought. The rat then goes back into the hole, making me grin. I then order a few to get me food.
After the order I sit back and think about how I'm going to take him on.
'Grinding physical stats is an inevitability, and will be needed when this happens." I nod to myself and think about my next course of action, after I kill him. At first, I thought I'd quietly sneak out after poisoning certain people, but now, I'm going to kill him and run away, the loud way. Will it end badly? Most likely, but I can't live like this anymore. So that speeds up my plan a little.
I then go to sleep, determined to start grinding the next day.
[Rested: HP and MP are completely restored.]
The words appeared as I opened my eyes. I then looked at Shin and saw that he was laying in front of two dead birds. I blink my eyes again in disbelief.
'Looks like he already guessed what I was going to do.' I smile at him and scratch his head.
[Familiar Bond with Shin (Rat) has leveled up (2)]
I smile again at my only friend in this world. 'Kind of sad, to tell you the truth, but it is what it is.'
I then look at the other rats nibbling on something in the corner. I then see that the others that got me food have arrived.
"Bread is really starting to get old, but beggars can't be choosers." I then look back at what food I took for granted in my previous life.
I then nudge the rats away and start eating the bread while looking at the two dead birds.
I then swallow all pride and pick one up and sink my fangs into the poor white dove. After a few blissful seconds the bird was drained and new words appeared in front of me.
[Successful Feeding: 2 Strength and 2 Agility received]
"Wow, feeding is overpowered when you get enough of it, I wonder if there are diminishing returns?" I then drain the next one.

"I guess the stats lower the more of one thing you feed on." Damn, thought that I'd always get two. A rush of euphoria overcomes me

I then quickly check my stats.

I grin at the thought of actual progress. I then stand up from the mattress and resort to good old fashioned exercise.

After a few hours of physical excretion, I read the words with a smile. I then summoned my status page and noticed that agility is going to be hard to level in a cell.
I shake my head.
'I won't always be here, once I'm free, I can grind to my heart's content.'
That also brings up another thing I need to think about. What to do once I'm out. I will eventually have to join a faction, if I want security, at least until I'm a god-like being, which is pretty much guaranteed, seeing as I am now the 'Gamer' of this universe. I let out a chuckle at the thought of having the power to do whatever I wanted.
I shake myself out of my thoughts and look down at the poisoned cheese laying at the foot of my mattress.
'I wonder?' Without thinking I poured my mana into the foul smelling cheese.
[Crafting skill unlocked. (Alchemy)]
I smile widely at the words. I quickly brought up the Alchemy page.

The smile drops from my face as I realize that I will have to eat the cheese to make progress.
Another chapter done. Next one will be longer, currently struggling with the word count. Unsure about the harem or even if there will be one. Let me know your thoughts. Also taking faction ideas, any requests will be sorely appreciated
