Prompt: Union
Katara covers her mouth with shaky hands. "I can't believe we did that!" She repeats the sentence several times, shifting the emphasis with each iteration. My heart races. Does she wish we hadn't?
Then she's laughing and her arms twine around me. She's heart-stoppingly lovely and I'm smiling as our mouths meet. For a small eternity my senses fill with her—the ylang-ylang scent of her hair, the smooth heat of her lips, the sound of her sighs.
She pulls away, dark lashes veiling her eyes. Slyly, she peeks up at me through them. "Aang" she croons "now you're my husband."
