Tai was unconscious. All he can see is black, He can feel the cold around him latching onto his skin, but he doesn't care.

But he heard a call.

Wake up!

It was faint. At first, Tai didn't care, but the call grew louder.

Wake up!

And louder.

And then, It hit him.

WAKE UP!

Tai's eyes burst open, Cold sweat pouring out of his pores. Tai's eyes wandered around to see that his surroundings were not familiar to him.

Tai sat up and looked around as he found himself inside a rundown cabin.

He was confused about how he got here. Tai got up as something caught his attention. He looked down to see what it was and saw a makeshift splint wrapped around his injured arm.

Tai wondered who patched him up, but he shrugged it off for now as he made his way to the Doorway of the rundown cabin. As he got there, his face we're met by rays of sunlight shining through the Doorway.

Tai raised his hand to cover the rays from hitting his face as he continued walking as he passed through the Doorway and got outside.

Tai got outside. What met him was beautiful scenery. He walked down the porch of the cabin when he heard a voice.

" You're finally awake." Tai's eyes widened as he recalled that he heard a similar voice before blacking out. Imidietly he snapped his head where the voice originated.

There he saw a beautiful girl with black hair with blue highlights similar to Summer's but instead of red, their blue as she sat under the tree looking at him with a gentle smile.

Tai stood there. His eyes wandered over the girl giving him a better description of her.

After observation, the girl had a Black t-shirt, A dark-gray zipped-up hoodie with a blue trim design, Black shorts with blue trims, and a pair of Black Below the knee socks with black boots.

But the thing that stood out. The girl had two pairs of ears on top of her head and a Black fluffy tail behind her, signifying that she was a Faunus but couldn't seem to identify what kind.

But that soon came later to an end when the girl spoke up.

" You know. it's rude eyeing a person without their permission." The girl said as the girl crossed her arms.

By this, Tai got embarrassed and quickly swiped his head in the other direction.

" I'm so sorry." Tai apologized as his face grew red. The girl saw this as she began to giggle.

" No need to apologize," the girl assured him as Tai looked at her and gave a long sigh of relief.

" But we don't have much time." this got Tai's attention as he looked at the girl, who seemed to be acting like a wild deer looking around if there was trouble.

" well, what's wrong?" Tai asked as the girl stopped looking around as she looked at Tai.

" I can sense a pack of Grimm nearby and by the looks of it. They're looking for us." The girl explains.

" wait, how do you know?" Tai asked as she happily sighed as she lifted her index finger and pointed to the ears on top of her head.

Tai, who the dumbhead he is, just realized that she was a Faunus. Faunus has something humans don't have. Traits of an animal.

By this, the Faunus have ultra hearing, night vision, and more. And by the looks of it, this girl has ultra hearing and senses. But Tai knew that there was more than meets the eye.

But Tai let it off for now. " that's awesome! A huntress like you is kinda good to have around in this situation."

" um, I'm not a Huntress." the girl said. Tai was surprised as he looked at the girl with eyes wide open by this information.

" wait, you aren't a huntress?" Tai asked as he received a nod from the girl. Now, this is a problem. The girl isn't a huntress, so that means she doesn't have an Aura, and if she doesn't know how to fight, then that's another problem, so Tai had to think fast.

" Then ill fight them," Tai said, earning a deadpan look from the girl.

" really? Will you fight them? I hardly believe that you'll survive one minute despise your injuries." the girl said as Tai looked at his injured arm. Indeed, he can't last long with these injuries on him.

" Ok, your right," Tai said, earning a smile from the girl as she got up from her spot. She was stretching her arm while letting out a big yawn.

" * yawn * good~ but before we move out, I wanna ask." the girl said as Tai looked at her.

" ok, since you helped. what are you going to ask?" Tai said as he gave a soft smile. That got her by surprise as her face turned slightly red, and she swiftly turned her head away.

" well, I was wondering. that if I can know your name?" the girl said as she poked both her index finger together while still not looking at him.

Tai looked at her and chuckled." well, my name is Taiyang Xiao long. how about you?." Ti said as the girl turned her head slowly towards him.

" well, my name is Alya."

Summer was nervous; she was sitting down on the couch while looking down on the floor. Her hands gripped as she began to tremble.

That soon came to an end when a hand-loomed over hers. Summer looked to see Alister, who had his hand over hers.

" don't worry. I'm here. There's no need to be scared." Alister assured but was cut off by the sound of footsteps echoing from up the stairs.

The footstep became louder and louder as a figure came into view as it walked down the stairs.

" Well, the kids are still asleep, despise it being Seven in the morning." what soon revealed the figure as Qrow Brawnen as he walked down the stairs and to the living room where Alister and Summer are.

" Qrow I-" Summer tried to talk but was immediately stopped as Qrow Glared at her with a piercing eye.

" shut its stilts. we'll talk personally later, but for now." Qrow said as he walked toward the couch and sat down in front of them.

" you're going to tell me what happened from the beginning. and I don't want lies." Qrow said as he placed his hand on his weapon Harbinger next to the couch, telling them he was Armed.

" Now better start talking Because I want to know."
