hey guys, and thank you for reading this, this is my first fanfic btw so please tell me what you think. I promise I will try my very best to make this good. so now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's begin!

Silence. Nothing but silence. He Who Remains was dead, still slumped over in that chair, and Sylvie had collapsed and was currently staring at her blood-covered sword. For so long she had kept going, kept running and scheming all in the hope that someday this would happen, but now that it had she felt strangely empty. Like her reason for existing had just been ripped from her.

Her hands were trembling now and the sound of her sobs began, accompanied by hot tears that were now pouring freely down her face. She had done it! He was dead! The one who caused her so much pain and loss was finally gone, so why didn't she feel better? This was supposed to make her happy! For years and years she had dreamt of this day, of finishing this but now that she has all she feels is empty. Why? She thought. Why aren't things better?

She had planned to kill him and then… well she hadn't thought that far but she was certain it would come to her. She threw her sword across the room, unable to stand the sight of it anymore. It clanged loudly as it collided with the wall. Then, rising from the ground and wiping away the tears with the back of her hand, she stalked to the door and slammed it shut behind her. She had to get out of here, the walls were closing in and she felt like she was suffocating. The elevator was moving painfully slow and she would have preferred to take the stairs, but she didn't know a single bloody thing about this place so the elevator it was.

As soon as the elevator dinged she yanked the doors open and stopped in her tracks. Miss minutes was hovering in the middle of the room, blocking the path to the door.

"You don't look too good, sugar" she said. As if she cares at all, Sylvie thought.

"What do you want!?" She yelled, she was tired of this, tired of things not going her way, tired of being interrupted, and actually she was tired of everything. The only good thing that's happened to her in the last month was meeting Loki, and she had just shoved him through a portal after kissing him. It had been brief, only lasting a few seconds but the moment was burned into her memory. Now was not the time to think about that now though, right now she had to focus on getting out. Then she'd figure out where to go from there.

"I just want to talk," Miss Minutes said.

"Then get on with it and say what you want to say"

"You really shouldn't have killed him you know," miss minutes wore an expression of pity and regret on her holographic face. It made Sylvie want to punch her, she hated when people pitied her. But she knew her fist would just pass right through Miss Minutes and would do absolutely nothing but make her look foolish. "Now you have a much bigger problem," she couldn't be serious. He Who Remains wasn't going to multiply into an infinite number of himself. Or was he? What if he was telling the truth? No no no, he was lying, taking one last desperate shot at scaring her into letting him live.

"Just leave me alone!" Sylvie hissed at Miss Minutes. She was fed up with this, all these cryptic answers to her questions and foreboding phrases. See you soon echoes through her head as she remembers He Who Remains' last words before the light faded from his eyes.

"All right,'' Miss Minutes replied coldly. She shrugged and then vanished. Sylvie walked swiftly to the door and flung it open to reveal… chaos. The loop that had been flowing around the castle was splitting and separating everywhere. Had she done this? Created this madness? Well she supposed it was only fitting. She was the goddess of lies, mischief, and chaos after all.
