It didn't take long for Nohr's army to begin their trek towards the location of the mysterious camp. Cornelius enjoyed the view while riding atop his wyvern, which he named Titan, in the sky. Under his helmet, he wore a massive smile. As he gazed out into the green plains and treetops that stretched out before them. That smile quickly led to a whoop of excitement and Titan playfully did a flip in the air startling a few other riders.

"Watch it!" one of them yelled.

Smiling in amusement, Camilla few her wyvern up next to her brother's. "I love your excitement, but if this is going to work, you have to stay focused. We're almost at the camp."

Cornelius blushed in embarrassment as he leveled out Titan. "Sorry."

Camilla simply laughed. "It's fine, dear brother. Just try not to get too excited from here on out."

The prince nodded in acknowledgement before returning his attention to the landscape.

"It's amazing" he told Camilla, "Seeing all this outside of the kingdom."

Camilla followed his gaze and sighed in contentment. "Yes. No matter how many times you ride out, you never quite seem to get used to that view."

She then looked down at Titan. "I see your wyvern has come to like you."

Cornelius looked down at Titan and stroked its neck. "Yeah. Do they usually bond this fast?"

Camilla thought for a moment. "Well…not always. You definitely have something special about you for Titan to be as connected with you as he is."

Cornelius chuckled. "Yeah, I guess so."

As they continued on, they were unaware that they were being watched.

The image shimmered to show that Cornelius was being watched by divine means through a pool of water: a scrying pool. Sitting above it in observance sat a girl with wild green hair, pointy ears, and regal attire. She looked at the image in mild frustration. Hearing taunting laughter, she looked up, unamused, to see a young girl with a deep red dress and long blonde hair; she seemed to be laughing at her specifically.

"What's so funny, Viridi?" the girl asked

The blonde haired girl regained her composure and smirked. "It's funny, Sothis, that despite sending that stupid vision, your attempt to avert what's coming didn't work! Losing your touch?"

Sothis clenched her teeth and was about to shoot back with her own remark, but had to restrain herself as Palutena appeared, looking between the two.

"Please try and restrain yourself, Viridi" she said before turning to Sothis, "She is right, though. Ever since I restored you to your place as a goddess, you've been trying to control everything."

Sothis looked uncomfortable. "I just don't think we should go through with this plan. It's too risky."

Viridi spoke up, "But we already know what will happen to Cornelius as well as the rest of the worlds if we don't step in. He's important to this "fight to come" Palutena speaks of, assuming that it even real."

Palutena looked at the nature goddess with a stern look. "I know what I saw, Viridi. It's unavoidable, and while there are some things we cannot change, Cornelius's fate is not one of them."

Sothis just looked annoyed and rested her head on her hand. "So, what exactly do you plan on doing with Cornelius because, honestly, I don't see the potential in his we're looking for. He's definitely no Byleth."

Viridi scoffed. "You're just not looking hard enough."

Sothis scowled at Viridi, but was rebuked by Palutena before she could say anything.

"That's enough!" Palutena said, "You are right, though, he is no Byleth. However, he something else entirely, and I see a potential in him that I haven't seen in a while."

Sothis shrugged. "That's fine and all, but you still haven't answered my question: what do you plan on doing with Cornelius?"

Palutena looked Sothis in the eyes, a determined expression on her face. "Something I will need both your and Viridi's help with."

Needless to say, both goddesses were very intrigued.

Sothis leaned forward in her seat. "Go on."

It had taken some time, but the Nohrian army finally was able to see the smoke of a camp in the distance.

"There!" Elise excitedly shouted.

"Only a few hours journey?" Leo asked, quizzical, "How curious."

Up with the wyvern riders, Cornelius and Camilla had a better view of the camp, and both were in awe.

"That's…HUGE!" Cornelius gasped.

"How many armies did they call in for this?!" Camilla asked.

Cornelius shrugged. "I don't know, but. I think we're about to find out."

"Pegasus riders!" shouted one of the wyvern riders. As Cornelius and Camilla looked: sure enough, two pegasi were approaching them. As they got closer, Cornelius felt his heart leap into his mouth as he recognized one of the riders as a Hoshidoan rider. She had red short hair, and carried a spear and armor that bore the marks of her kingdom. The second rider, however, Cornelius had never seen before: she was a young woman with long, blue hair, and wore silver armor from a kingdom he had never heard of.

The two pegasi stopped in from of the wyverns. Looking them over, the red haired girl growled in anger. "Why are THEY here?!"

Cornelius shot an angry glance back at her. "Hey, watch your mouth, Hoshidoan."

The rider threateningly raised her spear. "Don't you dare speak that way to a princess of Hoshido."

The other woman placed a hand on the spear. "Hinoka, please! Have some self-control."

Hinoka begrudgingly lowered her spear, muttering something under her breath as the woman spoke. "I am Caeda of Altea."

Camilla looked confused. "I've never heard of that kingdom."

"I'm not surprised" Caeda replied, "There's a lot to discuss, and it's best if we did it on the ground. Come with us! Your friends will follow."

As the pegasi turned back around, Camilla and Cornelius saw no other choice and followed them to the camp grounds. Cornelius looked around at the camp in amazement as he landed. All around him were different warriors and heroes that he had never seen before. Landing in a large wyvern stable, he also realized he and the other riders weren't the only ones that used draconic mounts.

"Who even are all these people?" he asked Camilla, who seemed to still be just as amazed.

"I've never seen any of these warriors before" she simply replied.

Hinoka approached them. Her face was still grim, but she managed to keep her composure. "There's a lot that needs to explained. In fact, I'm still a little doubtful myself of some of it."

Cornelius shook his head in disbelief. "What could possibly be so big a threat that it would require Hoshido and Nohr to work together with all these people?"

Hinoka looked curiously at the prince. "Since when did dimple soldiers ask such questions?"

Camilla had to resist the urge to smack Hinoka when a second person walked up. It was a young woman with white-blonde hair, similar to Cornelius's and had pale skin and red eyes. She wore silver armor (though she was, oddly, barefoot) and carried a gold sword at her side. Though he had never seen her, Cornelius couldn't shake the feeling he knew her.

"Don't be too harsh, Hinoka" she said, putting a hand on Hinoka's shoulder, "Anyone with sense would have questions about this."

Hinoka simply looked at the newcomer before relenting and walking away with a small huff. The blonde girl watched her leave before turning back to Camilla and Cornelius.

"The commanders are needed in the main tent." She said, "Everything will be explained there. Your other royal siblings are already there."

Camilla nodded in acknowledgement before turning to Cornelius as the girl walked away.

"You can try peeking in from outside." Camilla said, "I'm not sure if Azura will be there, and we need to keep your identity secret for as long as we can."

Cornelius scowled as he lifted his helmet's visor; this isn't how he wanted his first chance at a battle to start. Still, Camilla was right. His frustration quickly reverted back to curiosity, however, as he thought back to the blonde girl.

"That girl in the silver armor" he asked Camilla while they walked to the tent, "Who is she?"

Camilla looked at Cornelius in confusion. "Why do you ask?"

"I can't help but feel like I know her…like we're connected somehow."

It was revealed that Camilla had partially been faking her confusion as she sighed in mild disappointment. "I was hoping that wasn't the case."

This only made Cornelius more confused. "What do you mean?"

Camilla looked at Cornelius with a solemn look before saying. "That was Corrin, princess of Hoshido and you sister. You real sister."

Cornelius could only walk the rest of way in complete shock as the gravity of this truth hit him like a brick wall…and left him with more questions than he could handle. There was no time for that now, however; they had arrived at the command tent.

More about Sothis will be explained later, so you won't need to be confused for long. Like I said before, I'm not really following timelines too closely.

Let me know what you think so far!
