Writer's Notes: Thank you Roxhall, Navywife, Goddess, Delia, and guest for your reviews! I haven't done a simonxbella pairing, and this was actually not only a personal request of my own, but someone wanted a simonxbella pairing a while back, and I was like, you know what, Simon needs to be in the spotlight. He's a fantastic character in not only the books, but also the TV show and the movie. Alberto Rosende is a sweetheart, and I absolutely love him to death. Not to mention Robbie Sheehan is an all-time favorite of mine, and he also played Simon in the Mortal Instruments movie along side Jamie Bowers, and it was spectacular to see Robbie in a role like this. Alberto, however, is the superior Simon, and I think a lot would agree. Overall, I'm happy that so many are enjoying the story as much as I am! Don't forget to follow, favorite, and leave a review to let me know how I'm doing!

[Three days later]

Bella stood at the crosswalk, waiting for the light to turn for her to walk. Simon was already at the studio, and she would be there in a few moments. She looked down at the magazine that had a picture of her and Simon kissing at the club. She wasn't worried about it being out and knew that Simon was okay with it being out there. They had a scheduled interview with the guy from Jersey about an exclusive on them being a couple, and some photos for the magazine. The light turned green, and she hesitated a moment, double checking, and walked across hurriedly and went over to the studio entrance. There was a woman standing outside, her hair was beautiful, curly, and dark to her shoulders, and she had a darker complexion. Her eyes were a deep brown color, and she looked like she was waiting on someone.

Bella smiled, nodding a hello, before grabbing the handle on the door.

"Bella?"

Bella stopped and turned to look at the woman. "Yes, that's me. What can I do for you?" She said, friendly, and still smiling.

"I'm Maya."

Bella's smile faltered a little. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry I haven't met you before now. How are you?"

"How do you think I'm doing? You stole my boyfriend."

Bella frowned. "No, that's not what happened. I'm really sorry that-"

Maya made a motion and tossed coffee on Bella. It wasn't steaming hot, only somewhat hot, from Maya standing there and waiting for so long. It did startle Bella and she gasped, jumping back a little. "Leave Simon alone. He's mine. I'm pregnant."

Bella was still stunned that Maya had just thrown hot coffee on her, the semi-hot liquid splashing her face. "Maya I-"

Maya stormed off before Bella could do anything else.

Bella opened the door and walked into the studio, taking the elevator up. She was in still a little shocked, and just waited for the elevator doors to open. When they did, she walked into the lobby area of the studio and Simon was coming out, he had a smile on his face, but it quickly disappeared, and he went to her.

"What happened?"

"Oh, coffee accident. I'm going to clean up in the bathroom." Bella said and went to the bathroom, to wash her face off. She unbuttoned her shirt and took it off. She was wearing a camisole under her shirt, so she would have to just deal with that until she got back home. She looked at herself in the mirror. She sighed. Maya was angry with her about her breakup with Simon. Could she be to blame? She didn't pursue Simon. She was respectful of Maya, at least she felt like she was. She didn't like layering the blame on anyone, but Maya was the one that wasn't faithful. S

She left the bathroom and Simon was waiting on her. He handed her his jacket, and she slipped it on, rolling the sleeves up a little at her wrist.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, it wasn't too hot." Bella said and tried a smile. "We have an interview in an hour, so I'll have to go like this."

"No, I'll have Ang get you something to wear." Simon said and took her hand in his, lacing his fingers with hers and they walked towards the conference room.

Marcus came out, smiling. "Good news guys!"

"What?" Simon and Bella said at the same time.

"They've added a couple more stops to the tour, and it's extended to July now!"

Bella smiled. "That's great."

"It is! And Jess finished the song, I just want to hear your input." Marcus said, and handed her the lyrics and sheet music.

Bella took them and looked at them. "Ignite." She said with a nod. "Let's listen to the track." She said and they walked away from the conference room and towards the sound booth. Mike was there, setting up Ignite, and she smiled, know that Marcus did that knowing she'd want to hear it.

Simon crossed his arms, watching her go into the recording booth, and get situated.

Bella gave Mike the thumbs up, and he started the music.

"I came to conquer, rolling like thunder, I never rest, keep pushing harder, I'm getting reckless, leaving you breathless, that's what you get, making a legend."

She started, the tempo was upbeat, and a great dance piece.

"Pull the she alarm sound the siren, can you feel….the temperature rising"

She bobbed her head and started dancing slightly, grooving to the music.

"Watch me ignite!"

She smiled as sang and repeated 'watch me ignite' a few times.

"Feet on the pavement, know what I'm chasing, it's in my blood, adrenaline racing, feed on the tension, I never give in, fear is a cage that I can't be contained in….

Pull the alarm sound the siren, can you feel….the temperature rising…

Watch me ignite! Watch me, watch me, watch me ignite!"

Bella rolled and popped to the music, and continued with the lyrics, going into the last hook.

"I came to conquer, rolling like thunder, can't take me down, I keep getting stronger, I keep getting stronger….pull the alarm sound the siren, can you feel….the temperature rising…

Watch me ignite!"

The music finished and she removed the headphones and smiled. "Sounds like fire Marcus. Jess did good."

Marcus smiled, leaning over and hitting the button. "Oh yes, that was fire, and you're going to look amazing performing this."

Bella grinned and her eyes cut over to Simon, who was smiling wide at her. She exited the booth and joined the others. "We have that interview soon, or I would stay and work out all the kinks. It's a faster tempo."

Marcus waved a hand. "Of course, we'll work on this piece. This will launch Christmas, and the video will drop that night at midnight like last time. Angela already has some costumes in mind. I've got to find a guy that can handle pyrotech, and we need a large outdoor stage."

Bella nodded. "Sounds good. Are we still working on Become the Beast tomorrow?"

"Yes! Thanks for reminding me. We're finishing the final polish, so be here at 2pm?"

"Will do. Thanks Marcus." Bella said and hugged him.

Simon looked at his watch. "Okay, so we will return after the interview to do the writers meeting." He said and laced his fingers with Bella's.

Angela walked in carrying a bag with a dress in it. "Here you go Bells. For your interview. Heard you had a coffee accident."

"Yes, thank you Ang." Bella said, taking the bag and then kissed Simon's cheek. "Give me a couple minutes." She said and disappeared to the bathroom again. She took the dress out of the bag. It was two pieces. The charcoal pencil skirt was tight on Bella's hips, hugging her curves, and stopping right above her knee. The top was long sleeves, and matched the skirt and zipped in the back, and it left her shoulders just barely bare, and at the hem of the shirt it cut down in a triangle on two sides, and the waist belt was made in to the shirt, and was tight across the front. Her boobs were very noticeable in the tightness of the dress, but she had no clevage in this dress since the neckline was high. She looked professional. She slipped the heels on that were in the bottom of the bag, and then took a quick look in the mirror. She was thankful for natural beauty, because she looked perfectly fine without makeup too. She swooped her hair back, letting the waves tumble down the middle of her back. She gathered her things, and left the bathroom, and walked up. "Okay, I'm ready. Thanks Ang."

Angela smiled, taking the bag and Bella's other clothes and handed her the purse that matched the outfit, after transferring her phone, wallet, and keys to it. "No problem. Have a great time!" She said and then Simon smiled, grabbing Bella's hand and they went down to his car.

"You look sexy." Simon said, once they were in the car.

"It's incredibly tight." Bella said, with a chuckle.

"Oh, I can see that." Simon said with a smile and leaned over and kissed her, his hand cupping her cheek as he dove in, teasing her by nipping at her lip slightly. He leaned back in his seat, smiling and started the car.

Bella pouted a little, not wanting Simon's mouth to leave hers, but they had to get to the interview, but later, when they got back to the loft, she was going to have her way with him then.

They arrived at the interview with ten minutes to spare, but that was fine. They walked in and were greeted by a woman, with bright blonde hair that was cut in an inverted bob, and she was dressed nice, pencil skirt that was a deep red color, and her blouse was a white ruffled top.

"Hi, I'm Candace. Brent is ready for you guys if you are." She announced and then Simon and Bella followed her back to an office. Brent was a nice-looking man. Dressed semi casually, with dress pants, and a button up shirt, but no tie. His hair was a honey color, and his eyes were a slate grey.

"Bella, Simon, it's great to meet you." Brent spoke. His tone was higher, and the way he drew out his words, it made Bella think that he was homosexual, and she glanced around the office, finding a photo of him in a tux with another man kissing with the sun going down behind them, so her assumption was right.

"Hi Brent, thanks for having us." Bella said, and Brent motioned for the two of them to sit in the chairs in front of his desk.

Brent smiled. "I've listened to all of the music that has been released, and can I just say, wow. You two are rising stars not only in New York, but you're pretty famous around here too. The magazine that released the photo shoot of you two, was just powerful. Bella, you look absolutely stunning."

"I really appreciate your compliments."

Simon nodded. "She's always stunning." He said and smiled at her.

Brent made an 'oooo', sound. "So, I'll go ahead and start the recorder. Let me know if there's anything you want left out as we go." He said and Simon and Bella nodded. "So, Bella, when you were first photographed with Simon, you looked cozy, but it was explained away. Now, there are new photos of you two together, and you guys are more than cozy." He said with a smile.

Bella smiled, and looked over at Simon and then back to Brent. "Well, in the beginning, it was just platonic. We are really great friends, and Simon is the reason I've pursued music like I have. We sing great together, but just one day, we realized that we had something special."

"Awww. You guys are certainly adorable. The fan sites that have popped up all over the place, have gushed about how cute of a couple you two are, and when you did that interview with Terrence, I can attest there were a lot of sad fans, wishing the two of you were actually an item. Now that you've been spotted kissing, can we lay rumors to rest, and make anything official?"

Simon nodded, grabbing Bella's hand in his, lacing his fingers with hers. "Yes. You can. We are dating, and couldn't be happier to explore not only the musical journey together, but just our journey together, as one."

"You two are seriously the cutest. Bella, you said you were from Washington State?"

Bella nodded. "Yes. Small town, Forks, Washington."

"Never heard of it."

Bella laughed. "Not a lot of people have. It's outside Port Angeles."

Brent nodded. "Okay, I know where abouts that's at. What made you decide to move across the country?"

"I had recently lost my father. He was a police chief in Forks, and so I moved to New York, to get a fresh start."

"I'm terribly sorry to hear that." Brent said, showing real emotion. "That must have been hard."

Bella smiled, reaching up and tucking her loose hair behind her ear. "It was, but I've managed."

"Did you always want to do music?"

"Actually, I am terribly shy. Or I used to be."

"Nooo." Brent said, shocked. "You can't tell. You are a very confident individual."

Bella smiled. "Thank you. I worked hard at it. I met Simon my first day in New York, and was able to find that confidence later."

Brent nodded, understanding. "You said you came for a fresh start, was there something in Forks that warranted a fresh start?"

Bella's smile faltered and she nodded. Simon squeezed her hand. They already knew this was a question that could have been brought up, and she decided to speak out about it. "There was."

"Can you tell us more about that, or is that too sensitive?"

"No, it's fine. It's important, and it was part of my past, and I think that in this case, voices should be heard. I am an abuse victim. I dated a man for three years that broke me down in every way." She started, and Brent put a hand over his mouth, clear sadness on his face. "When he up and left, I was left in pieces. I didn't understand why he left, I thought I needed him, and I was warped and manipulated to the point that I lost my entire identity. I didn't know who I was, without him. When my father died, I realized that I needed to do something for myself. I needed to become who I wanted to be and be the person that I was meant to be."

Brent teared up a little. "That's so brave, so inspiring."

Bella smiled. "No, not inspiring. I encourage woman and girls, even men, that are in similar situations, to speak up. Tell someone. You are more than the bruises he or she gives you. Don't be afraid anymore because one day, the bruises could get worse, and it's important that you stop that violent cycle before it becomes your end."

"Simon, how have you managed to help Bella, with this?" Brent asked Simon.

Simon smiled. "Bella is incredible. There's nothing I'm doing that helps her. She has become a strong, independent woman, who is capable of running her life. She doesn't need me or a man to tell her what to do or how to do something. I am consistently amazed and proud of her each day with all the hurdles she has overcome, and will overcome in the future."

"Well said Simon." Brent said and smiled and looked down at his pad of paper of notes he had been scribbling. "Simon, we did hear rumors of another woman you were involved with. Can we talk a bit about that?"

Simon frowned, but nodded, looking at Bella. "I was in a relationship when I met Bella."

"No one knew of this relationship?"

"Besides family and close friends, no. I kept that part of my life private for the girl I was dating."

"How long were you together?"

"Three years." Simon said.

Brent looked a little shocked. "That's a long time. You ended things, obviously. Was there a reason?"

Simon swallowed, shifting in his seat. "I can't speak for her, because I'm not her."

"Was it mutual?"

"No. It wasn't a good breakup." Simon said. "She hid infidelities from me, which eventually caused the split."

Brent frowned. "Oh no, that's terrible. I'm sorry to hear that. But that doesn't matter because you seemed to have found your perfect match."

Simon smiled and looked over at Bella. "Yes. I'm in love with Bella."

Bella smiled, blushing a little.

"That's fantastic. So this is the long haul."

Simon chuckled. "Yes, I hope she'll agree to be my wife one day."

Bella looked at him a little stunned, but smiled.

Brent smiled and looked at Bella. "Bella, what do you say to that?"

"If he can put up with me, I hope he'll one day ask me." Bella said.

Simon looked over at her, a look of awe and shock. He reached into his pocket on the inside of his jacket and pulled out a box.

Brent gasped. "Oh my. Is that what I think it is?"

Simon smiled. "Yes. I bought this the day after you told me you loved me." He said to Bella. "I've been carrying it around with me everywhere I go. I know it's pretty early, and I had honestly planned on after the next album drop in December." He stood, sliding his chair back, and then got down on one knee and took Bella's hand. "Seems like it was yesterday I was breaking your phone and spilling coffee on you." He chuckled a little. "But I also feel like it's been a lifetime. I love you Bella, and I don't ever want to hide that. I don't ever want to hide you from the world, because I love you too much."

Bella teared up and smiled down at him.

"So, since you gave me the go ahead, will you marry me?"

Bella nodded, wiping the tears from her face with one hand while Simon slid the ring on her left hand. It was white gold, heart shaped with smaller diamonds that outlined it, and studded the band half way on both sides. It fit perfect, and she looked down at it. Still in shock.

Simon leaned up and kissed her softly, and smiled. He returned to his seat, and then took her hand again, and laced his fingers with hers.

Brent was wiping tears out of his own eyes. "I am so happy I got to witness this!"

Simon laughed. "Oh that wasn't planned. But," he paused and looked at Bella. "Sometimes, waiting just seems too hard."

Brent clasped his hands together. "You two are seriously the best couple. We have makeup artists, and costume designers here for the photo op. Can we do some photos of you two with the engagement?"

Bella and Simon looked at each other, smiling and then nodded. "That would be perfect."

Brent stood. "Oh my god, I can't believe this. You guys are amazing, I just want to hug you both."

Bella and Simon stood and hugged Brent together, and that honestly made Brent's day as well.

They went with Brent to get in costume and makeup for the photo op that will be displayed in the magazine.

When they were done, Bella was just floating on cloud nine. They left and went back to the studio and got out and walked in together.

"How did the interview go?" Marcus asked, when they came in.

"Perfect." Simon said, and the pulled Bella against his side and kissed her.

Marcus smiled. "So, you guys are out and officially dating."

"Engaged." Simon corrected

"Wait what?" Marcus stared at the two of them and then Bella showed Marcus her hand. Marcus took her hand and looked at the ring. "Oh wow. I bet Brent was thrilled."

Simon nodded. "He was, it'll be printed by Friday. They're doing a whole spread."

"I can't wait to see it." Marcus said and then they went into the conference room and began the writers meeting.

[Friday: Pandemonium]

Bella sat on the stool and drank down her bourbon.

Jace smiled. "Let me see it." He said finally. He hadn't seen the ring yet, at least not on Bella's hand. Bella handed him her hand, and Jace took it and looked at it. "He guessed your size pretty spot on."

Bela nodded. "He did. It's beautiful. You went with him, didn't you?"

"I did." Jace smiled. "He was sure that you would say yes when he did ask you."

Clary rushed up to the bar holding the magazine in her hands. "OMG you guys! The magazine is just amazing. The pictures of you and Simon are so stunning. And you told your story about Edward! That was amazing."

Bella smiled. "It was too important not to talk about."

"I'm so happy!" Clary said and then hugged Bella.

"Me too." Bella said, and took another drink of her drink.

A short while later, Simon made it to the club and found Bella, and leaned in, kissing her as a greeting. "Hello beautiful." He said with a smile.

Clary clasped her hands together. "You guys are perfect. I wish I could find that same happiness." She said, and then turned back to her drink.

Jace frowned. "What happened to Sebastian?"

"Well, I caught him with…" She looked over at Simon. "I caught him with Maya."

Jace and Simon look shocked, their mouths dropping open. "Are you serious?" Jace asked.

Clary nodded. "Yeah, but you know, I'll be fine." She waved a hand dismissing it. "I'm about to finish up my school, and Marcus has hired me full time, so I'll be going on tour with Bella and Simon for makeup, and get to travel and all that fun, so I'll be okay." She said with a smile.

Bella went and hugged Clary, leaning her head against Clary's. "I'm sorry Clare." She murmured. "I love you, so that's all you need right now." She said with a smile.

Clary smiled and then kissed Bella's cheek with a loud smacking noise. "That is why you're my best friend."

"Hey! What about me?" Simon said, feigning hurt.

Clary and Bella giggled. "Oh Simon, you're still my best guy friend. Bella is my best girlfriend."

Bella smiled, and kissed Clary's cheek back. "Awww. I love you too. Now, Simon is here, we have to do our set. Then we're going to bounce early since we have an early day tomorrow." She said and then took Simon's hand, and they went up on stage.

The crowd instantly flocked the stage and cheered. Simon and Bella started their set, consisting of 'No Good', 'Michelangelo', and 'Fragile World.'

After the set was over, they said goodbye to Jace and Clary and headed home. The air was cool in October, and so Bella pulled her jacket around her tighter, and walked with Simon, his arm around her as they walked to the loft. Once they got up to Bella's loft and in her room, they ripped each other's clothes off.

Bella moaned as Simon entered her, thrusting up into her fast, jolting her as she laid on her back, her legs pushed up, hooked over his shoulders. Every nerve in her body was alive with pleasure as he continued to push her towards her climax. His thrusts were powerful, reaching up into the depths of her and she moaned, arching as he plunged, until she was spilling over and calling out his name.

Simon felt himself swell up, drawing up, getting ready for his own climax as she moaned out his name and he moaned too, hearing his name drip off her lips sent thrills through him, and he pushed into her filling her up, as the first rope of hot semen left, he pushed into her deep, emptying out, and moaning. He had never been with a woman like this before, always using condoms, and withdrawing even as to be extra careful. It was an entirely different feeling, one that he was addicted to now with her. He leaned down, shifting, and kissed her deeply, his tongue gliding over hers, gathering another moan from her. He smiled, layering a few more kisses against her mouth and her jaw, before sliding out of her, and laying on his back, pulling her into his arms.

"You're a god." Bella finally managed when her breathing calmed down and her heart started to stabilize.

Simon chuckled. "Oh no. Baby I'm not a god."

"To me you are." Bella said and then kissed his chest, and leaned up, looking down at him. "I love you." She murmured.

Simon cupped her face with one hand, other at her waist, holding her. Her beauty was so radiating, and he was going to spend the rest of his life with her. "I love you more." He murmured back, a smile on his face, and then he kissed her, before she snuggled down against him, and relaxed. They both fell to sleep, peaceful, and completely content.
