Writer's Notes: Thank you Roxhall, Goddess, guest reviewers, and Kera for your reviews! Goddess, I understand. I recently watched gossip girl this past year because my friend told me that it was pretty good, drama wise. It does have a 90210 feel to it, but I think that with the actors and actresses in the show, it propelled itself farther, and just better. Blake Lively is seriously amazing, and I watched it mainly because she was in it and I adore her as a human. I think SimonxBella is seriously the cutest. Simon is just so loving and caring, and it makes me happy to be able to write Bella and Simon like this. The next chapter will be the Epilogue, and I hope everyone enjoys. Keep an eye out for the new fic, Lies Become You, a gossip girlxTwilight crossover and will consist of 10 chapters. It was a request by one of my readers, and I hope to do gossip girl justice. As always, I appreciate everyone! Don't be shy, send me your thoughts or requests, I love to write. I mainly do Twilight crossoevers. I have a second fic in the works as well, that will include another Shadowhunter crossover, that will be posted after LBY. Don't forget to follow, favorite, and leave a review, letting me know what you think! See you in the epilogue! Cheers!

After the tour ended, some tabloids came out, showing a zoomed shot of her on stage, and there was a red circle around her belly. Tag lines like. 'Is Bella pregnant?' 'Baby Lewis on the way!' and many many more.

Bella wasn't bothered by it, but Simon hated that the surprise was ruined somewhat. So, they opted to do a photo shoot with Brent.

"I can't believe you guys! This is so cute." Brent expressed his joy when Bella and Simon told him that the tabloids were true, and that Bella was in fact pregnant.

They took some pictures of Simon kneeling, his hands on Bella's belly. They decided to do the photoshoot when she was twenty weeks, and they found out that they were having a girl. Bella wore hot pink, and Simon was wearing a plain white, button up shirt, that was open at the first two buttons.

It was going to display on the cover of the magazine, and Brent couldn't be more excited.

The tagline read. 'Baby girl Lewis!'

On the inside would be the article that Brent wrote during their interview.

"Bella opens up about being pregnant! Due February 2022, Simon and Bella Lewis are welcoming a little girl. The popstar couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee at Opryland Hotel with close friends and family earlier this year in May. The couple completed their tour last month in Los Angeles, California, selling out four hundred thousand tickets across their entire tour, and more after the unfortunate accident in Nashville after their concert at the Grand Ole' Opry. With all of that behind them, they're excited to welcome their daughter come next year. Bella said, "It's like every moment in her life was leading her up to this point, to bring their child into the world." The sentiment was the same with Simon saying: "Bella was always my destiny, and now our daughter will strengthen that destiny. It was fate that I bumped into her the morning of her arrival in New York. I could not be happier and look forward to the future with my wife and daughter, and more." Fans across the nation are excited for the arrival of baby girl Lewis and cannot wait for the next release on Bella's new album.

Bella thought that Brent was an excellent writer, capturing Simon and her words perfectly.

[October: Bella 23 weeks]

"I like this one." Bella said as her and Simon house shopped for the impending arrival of their daughter. They wanted a home for her before she came into this world. They looked at several houses, but this one seemed perfect."

"I know, but do we want to buy a house in New York?" Simon pointed out. "You loved Nashville."

"Yeah, but Voltaire records is here. All of our family and friends are here."

"I know, and Marcus said that it would be fine. We can still fly in, and he is wanting to start a location in Nashville and look at other artists."

"I rather have a home here." Bella said with a smile. "Unless you're wanting-"

"No, I want what you want. I just know that you enjoyed staying in Nashville despite the accident. There's also Cali."

Bella smiled. "I like New York. I think that maybe we could buy a home in Cali later, but I really like New York. Especially with being close to your mom and sister, and I know they don't get to see you enough already. Your mom was upset you got married without her there."

Simon sighed. "My mom and I don't have the best relationship already. She's overbearing. There's a reason why I don't tell her every aspect of my life."

Bella went to him and leaned into him and kissed him. "Do you want a home here in New York?"

Simon looked at her. "I love you. My home is you, and Harlow."

"I want you to be happy. It's okay to tell me what you really want."

"I love New York. But I also love Los Angeles and Nashville. Marcus already has a studio in Los Angeles. But you're right. Everything we know is here. New York is perfect."

Bella leaned in and kissed him. "I love you."

"I love you too." He murmured and then looked around. "It's very spacious." He said and looked at the real estate agent. "Five bedrooms?"

"Technically four, but there is an office with a closet, so it can be 5 bedrooms. The basement is completed and has its own bathroom. There three other bathrooms. The one in the master bedroom, and there's a jack and jill bathroom, and then the half bathroom right off the kitchen. The backyard is completely fenced in and covered back deck."

Simon nodded. It was the perfect home. They wanted more children than just Harlow, so it wasn't bad to go ahead and buy the home they wanted for a long time. The appliances were all black stainless steel. The living room and kitchen was very open, and the ceilings were high. Everything was bright and open, with large windows, and the cabinets were white, making it look larger. "How many square feet?"

"1,960." The agent said with a nod.

Simon looked at Bella. "So, you like this one?"

"I do." Bella said with a smile. The outside was beautiful. A slate blue color, and it was gated in the front, and had three parking spots on the street, which was wider to accommodate the parking. The house itself was built in 1910 and was a colonial style house.

"Alright. We'll put in an offer on this one."

The agent nodded, pulled out a notepad from his pocket. "What sort of offer are we putting in. The asking price is 749,900."

Bella looked at Simon. "I have that in cash, we can put a cash offer in."

Simon frowned. "We can-"

"I told you. I have an inheritance, and I rather just buy it outright and just own it. Everything is newly remodeled in here, new plumbing, new central air and heat. New roof. It's a good deal, I still have money left, plus the royalties from album sells. Babe, it's okay."

Simon looked at her. "I don't want you to spend all your money on a house that we can finance."

"It's our money. It's okay. I promise." Bella said with a smile and caressed his cheek.

Simon studied her a few moments, struggling with this, but he nodded, giving in and looked at the agent. "Okay. Cash offer. What do you suggest?"

"Well, I say we offer 725,200 cash. The appraisal on this does appraise higher, so it is worth more, but the sellers are motivated sellers. We offer cash, that means closing is moved up, and there are no bank hassles."

"Okay, we'll do that." Simon said with a smile and looked at Bella and kissed her. "You are stubborn, and frustrating sometimes."

"I love you too." Bella said with a smile, and let Jeff, the agent, put their offer in. They took another look around the house before leaving and heading back to the loft. They would know something hopefully tomorrow if the sellers accepted their offer.

Jace was sitting on the couch with Clary, snuggled together, when Simon and Bella got to the loft. Jace looked up at the two of them. "So, how did house hunting go?"

"We put in an offer on a place." Bella said with a smile.

Clary smiled. "That's awesome. Which one was it?"

"The blue one." Simon said. It was the only blue house that was on their list to see.

"Oh! That one was so pretty." Clary said.

Simon and Bella smiled and looked at each other and nodded. "There's a basement. Own bathroom, and it's large. About the same size as this loft. It has its separate entrance as well. If you guys want, you can move into the basement." Simon said.

Clary and Jace were stunned. Magnus was wanting to sell the loft building and buy a different one on the other side of town with more apartments. Jace told him to do it, that he'll find a new place, or just move into the new apartments that Magnus buys. Clary and Jace were practically living together already, so Clary would just stay with Jace.

"Are you serious?" Clary asked finally.

Bella nodded. "Yeah, we can put a kitchen in down there, the bathroom is massive and really nice. Has a soaker tub and a walk in shower. I think the previous owners rented the space, so they made it nice. The basement has an open area and then another room that has two large closets. Hopefully we- "

Simon's phone rang and it was Jeff. "Hey Jeff."

"They accepted. I thought they would think harder on it, but they accepted immediately. The house is all yours. Their real estate agent asked if we could close October 31st, that's two weeks away."

"Oh, that's awesome. Yeah, that's fine, just text me the details on where we have to be."

"Will do, congrats you two." Jeff said and hung up.

Simon smiled. "They accepted the offer! We close October 31st."

Bella was excited. "That's amazing! Jeff said we likely wouldn't hear anything until tomorrow!"

"I know! It's probably because it's a cash offer."

Jace's mouth dropped. "You're buying a house cash."

Bella nodded. "Yeah."

Clary was stunned. "I forget sometimes how rich you guys are."

Bella shook her head. "It's an investment for the future, and it's worth it." She said and then jumped when Harlow kicked hard. "Oh!" her hand went to her belly, feeling the kick again. "Simon!" She said and grabbed his hand and put it over the spot, and Harlow kicked again.

Simon's mouth dropped. "She's kicking and I can feel her." He was amazed. "That's incredible." He murmured, looking down at his hand.

Bella smiled wide, beaming with joy and then kissed him. "It is."

Clary smiled. "Awww. That's so great." She said and then kissed Jace. "Do you want to go live in the basement?"

"The basement in that house they just bought. Hell yeah, I've seen the pictures. There's a hottub on the deck isn't there."

"Oh yeah, there is. I forgot about that." Simon said, and looked at Jace. "Definitely want to test that thing out."

[October 31st: Closing]

The people were really sweet. They were an older couple that wanted to downsize since all their children went off to college. The downstairs had been their youngest area who had been going to university and graduated and wanted to get their own place on the other coast because that's where their job took them.

With their new keys in hand, they went over to the new house and looked around. Simon hugged Bella to his side and kissed the top of her head. "It's all ours." He murmured.

Jace arrived with the moving truck and movers. "Okay, surprisingly, Bella doesn't have a lot of stuff."

"Yeah, I bought all that stuff when I got to New York, so I don't have many belongings. I think Clary has more boxes than I do." Bella teased.

"She does have a lot." Jace admitted.

Clary got there with food, pizza, so the movers could eat too. They had moved nearly all the stuff in off the truck when she did get there, so they were able to eat their lunch before finishing the rest.

The doorbell rang, and Simon got up off the couch to answer it, so Bella didn't have to get up. He went and opened the door smiling. "Hello?"

"Looking for Bella." The man said.

Simon frowned. "And you are?"

"Her uncle." The man said.

Simon glanced over his shower at Bella. "Babe, you have a uncle?"

Bella nodded and stood. "I do." She said and walked over to the front door. She looked shocked. "Uncle Dean?"

"It's me kiddo." Dean said with a smile. "Took a while to figure out where you were."

"Come in." Bella said and then hugged Dean. She hadn't seen him since her sixteenth birthday. "Where's Uncle Sam?"

"He's setting up at the hotel. I told him I'd come over first."

"How did you find me?"

Dean chuckled. "Talked to Jasper. He said you and your husband just bought a house. He gave me your address."

Bella smiled and just hugged him again. "I can't believe you're here." She said and then pulled back. "This is my husband, Simon."

Dean looked at Simon and shook his hand. "I would say I listen to your music, but I'm a rock n' roll type of guy." He said and then they walked more into the house and Simon shut the door.

"Hey guys, this is my uncle, Dean. Uncle Dean, this is Jace and Clary."

"Nice to meet you." Dean said with a nod. "I tried calling you, but you changed your number."

"Oh, yes. I did." Bella said, remembering that Edward had done that.

Simon smiled and went to the fridge. "Dean, do you want a beer, or soda?"

"Oh beer, of course." Dean said. "Thank you."

Simon grabbed one out of the fridge and handed it to Dean.

"I'm sorry I didn't reach back out to you guys after dad's funeral."

"It's okay. I'm sorry about Charlie. We really liked him. At least he stayed around to take care of you. Can't say much for my baby sister." He grunted and took a drink of the beer.

Bella smiled. "Well, what brings you guys to New York."

"Other than seeing our only niece?" Dean said with a smile. "It's a case. Military thing."

"You're in the military?" Simon asked.

Dean laughed. "Oh no, I'm a Navy cop, as is my brother. We jacked this case so we could come see Bella. We travel a lot. We just got back from Kuwait." He said and took another drink of his beer.

Bella smiled. "Well, I'm glad you're here."

The doorbell rang again, and Simon went and answered it. It was a tall man, dark hair that was shaggy, and he favored Dean a little. "You must be Sam."

"I am." Sam said with a nod.

"Come in." Simon said and stepped aside and let Sam walk in and shut the door behind him.

Bella went and hugged Sam immediately. "I'm so happy to see you both."

"Likewise baby bell." Sam smiled and ruffled her hair.

Bella smiled. "This is my husband, Simon, and our friends Clary and Jace."

"Hello." Sam said with a slight wave.

They sat together and laughed, and Dean and Sam told a few funny stories on cases they had worked. Until it started getting late.

"Well Bells, we've gotta get going. We have an early start tomorrow." Dean said and leaned in and kissed her forehead. "We'll be sure to visit more often and call more. Congrats on your new home, your husband, and your daughter. Your dad would be so proud of you."

"Thank you." Bella murmured and hugged Dean, and then Sam. She was sad to see them go, but she knew that she would see them again soon.

[February 14th]

Bella moved around the kitchen, pouring herself some juice. She loved mango, passion fruit juice, and she craved it so often. Simon was at the studio with Marcus, working on the new release of Simon's new album.

Jace was at Pandemonium, helping with the new remodel of the stage.

Bella lifted her cup and took a long drink and then felt some strings of pain wrap around her from her back to her stomach. She frowned and set her cup down and rubbed her belly. It was tight and rubbing it didn't make it feel any better. When the pain finally subsided, she heard the doorbell, and she went to the door. She opened it and Maya was standing there.

"How did you find where we lived?"

"I followed Simon from the studio one night." Maya said and looked Bella over. "You're really pregnant…" She murmured.

"Yes. Why would that be something we lie about?"

Maya swallowed. "I love Simon."

"If you loved him, you wouldn't have slept with Sebastian, and gotten pregnant by another man."

"I was never pregnant." She murmured and looked down. "I panicked and just said that, hoping he would stay."

Bella shook her head. "What are you doing here?"

"I know that it seems crazy, but I just wanted to…"

"Wanted to what? Throw coffee on me again?"

Maya shook her head, fidgeting with her hands. "I had to see for myself…. you two are really married and having a baby."

Bella shook her head. "And now that you've verified these astounding rumors, you can go."

"I can't! I love him!" She cried. "We were together for 3 years. I was with him as he rose to fame. I was there, the one carrying his equipment from gig to gig. I was! Not you!" She said, more venom in her voice now.

"Look. I don't care. That has nothing to do with me."

"You took him from me. We would have been okay. We could have fixed things if you hadn't shown up!" Maya said, and then she started coming unglued. She had a knife now, and it caused Bella to back away. Maya pushed into the house, shutting the door behind her.

"Maya, we can talk about this. You don't have to hurt anyone." Bella tried to remain calm, but all she was thinking about was her daughter.

Maya shook her head, tears streaming down her face. "I'm past talking! Without you, Simon can see. He can see me again. See his love!"

Bella felt the pain again, and this time it was more intense, she groaned, holding her belly, and then her water broke.

Maya stared, stunned. "Okay, I can work with this." She said with a nod. "If I take the baby out of you, Simon and I can raise the baby together. I'll love it like my own. We can be a family." She said delusional.

"Maya, just let me get to the hospital."

"No. Then you'll live. I don't want you to live." Maya said, a crazy look in her eye.

Bella tried to move through the pain, taking a step back again, but the pain and pressure was too much.

Maya was on here then, pinning Bella on the ground on her back. "Hold still, or I might hurt the baby."

"Please no!" Bella cried, tears blinding her, and she felt a sharp pain, as Maya ripped Bella's shirt up, and starting slicing across her lower belly.

"Don't worry. I looked up how to do a c-section on YouTube. This is the safest way to take a baby out." Maya said, and Bella screamed, the pain so much. She tried to move away, but Maya pinned her legs down by sitting on her. "I said sit still." Maya growled, and sliced Bella again, trying to cut more, but the knife was duller than she anticipated and so she had to cut harder.

Bella screamed again, feeling the warm blood start to pool. She sobbed. "Please!"

Suddenly Maya was knocked away from Bella and Bella lifted her hands, shaking as she placed them over her cut. It hadn't gone all the way through, and she hoped that Harlow was okay.

The knife had been knocked away from Maya too. Clary was there then. "Bella. Hold on." She said quickly.

Jace was there, his arms bear hugging Maya from behind as she thrashed and kicked and screamed for Jace to let her go, but he held her tight.

Clary pulled her phone out calling 9-1-1. "Hello, yes, we have a big emergency. 70 Weldon st. My friend is pregnant and was attacked with a knife. Please send an ambulance."

"My water broke." Bella gasped out.

"She's in labor too." Clary said quickly. "Hang in there Bella. They'll be here soon." She murmured, and then took her jacket off, and put it over Bella's cut, to stop the bleeding. "Everything is going to be okay."

Bella's tears continued falling. The throbbing pain was getting to be too much, and she felt intense pressure. "Clary. I have to push." She said.

Clary's eyes went wide. "Oh no. Bella you have to wait for the ambulance to get here.

"Clary, I need to." Bella said through grit teeth. "Take my pants off."

Clary scrambled, getting Bella's pants off quickly.

Jace threw Maya in the pantry and shut the door and locked it. Simon had swapped the knob around, thinking about their daughter locking herself in accidentally and Jace thought that was stupid, but for once was relieved that Simon thought about the smallest things. Maya banged on the door, and screamed, but Jace ignored her as he grabbed towels, and went to Bella's side. Clary's hands were shaking.

"Babe, move. Go get some water, and blankets. Hurry." He said and Clary scrambled. Jace looked at Bella. "Okay. If you're going to do this, I'm here. Push when you need to." He said calmly.

Bella nodded, feeling the contraction rip through her and she leaned up, and pushed, screaming out as she did.

Jace wasn't a doctor, and this was the first time he ever witnessed live child birth, but he say the top of Harlow's head. "Okay Bella, I see her head. You got this." He said, and then she grabbed his her knees and bore down again and pushed again.

Jace grabbed the towels and when Bella pushed again, he grabbed Harlow, wrapping her in the towel, and then started cleaning her face with another towel. Harlow belted out cries, and Bella leaned back, relieved.

Clary rushed in carrying water and blankets. "Oh my god. You actually delivered her."

Jace didn't say anything, just made sure she was the right color, and was breathing good. He then handed her to Bella, who held on to Harlow. She was tired, weak, but Clary's jacket had managed to staunch the bleeding from Maya's cuts. "Blanket." He reached for the blankets that Clary had, and she handed them to him. He unfolded one, draping it over Bella so she wasn't exposed anymore.

"What about the umbilical cord?" Clary asked.

They heard sirens then. "Let the EMTs do that. It's not going to hurt Harlow for their to be delayed cord clamping." Jace said, and then got up and opened the door as the EMTs and cops got there. His hands were covered in blood and so was his white t-shirt, but he didn't care about that right now.

EMTs went immediately to Bella and Harlow. They got her loaded up on the stretcher and the into the ambulance as Simon pulled up. Clary had called him while gathering blankets.

"Is she okay?" He rushed up into the house as the ambulance took off to the hospital. "Oh god." He said as he saw all the blood, and that Jace was covered in blood and Clary had blood on her hands. The police had Maya in handcuffs, and she was just sobbing heavily while sitting in the middle of the floor. He ran a hand through his hair, his heart stammering, fear consuming him.

"I'll drive." Jace said and looked at Clary. "Can you stay and answer the questions?"

Clary nodded, wiping tears from her eyes. "Go. I'll stay. Handle this." She said and Jace grabbed Simon's arm and guided him back to his car.

Simon was crying now, actual sobs from him as Jace drove him to the hospital.

[Brooklyn Hospital Center]

Bella was lucky that Maya's knife was dull. She only needed a few stitches, and Harlow was perfectly fine.

Simon and Jace got to the hospital, and Simon was trying to stay calm as he rushed to the nurses' desk. "My wife…."

"Bella Lewis." Jace supplied, his arm around Simon, helping him stand up straight.

The nurse looked at her screen. "She just got put in a room. The doctor is with her right now, the baby has been brought to the nursery. We can get you a wristband, and you can go up with her."

Simon nodded. "And my wife. She's…is she okay?"

"I apologize, I don't have that information, I can go and check."

"Please." Jace said with a nod.

The nurse nodded and then typed a few things, and then stood and got a hospital bracelet with Bella's name on it and other information like birthday and blood type and put it around Simon's wrist, and then put one on Jace. "Okay, take the elevator up to the third floor." She directed. "I'll find out the status on your wife Mr. Lewis." She said calmly and Simon just nodded and followed Jace to the elevator. Once they got to the third floor, they went to the nursery, and looked in the window. Harlow was in a bassinet, bundled up. A nurse came out to greet them. "Mr. Lewis, the station told me to expect you. Your daughter is doing wonderful. Seven pounds exactly."

Tears came to his eyes as he stared at his daughter. He started crying again. "Harlow." He murmured and put his hand on the glass.

Jace looked at the nurse. "Can he go in and see her?"

"We have a seating area over here. I'll bring her to you both. Go ahead and take a seat." She directed and Jace guided Simon over and him wash his hands and sit down after helping him put one of the yellow fabric clothes protector gowns on and Jace did the same. The blood was dry on his clothes now, but it was best that he covered it up.

The nurse rolled Harlow into the room and Jace stood and helped pick Harlow up and carefully hand her down to Simon.

Simon stared down at his daughter. "Harlow." He murmured. "She's so beautiful." He said, and Harlow opened her dark eyes and looked up at him. Her hair was also dark, and there was a lot of hair, and it was very curly. "You look so much like your mom."

Jace looked up at the nurse when she returned. "Mr. Lewis. Your wife is stable and is being moved to a room. She's been asking for you."

Simon felt the relief wash over him, and more tears. Jace took Harlow and placed her back in the bassinet.

'Can you bring her down when they call. Let him see his wife, and make sure she's okay."

"Of course." The nurse said and rolled Harlow back into the nursery.

"Come on mate." Jace said and guided Simon out. They went to the nurses' desk and asked which room they put Bella in, and they directed them to her room.

Bella lay in the bed, feeling exhausted, but in less pain. She looked at the door when Simon and Jace came in. "Simon." She murmured.

Simon went to her side; his hands were shaking as he framed her face. "Bella…" he said and kissed her, tears falling from his cheeks onto hers, and she cried too. "I'm so sorry baby. I'm so sorry."

"It's okay." Bella murmured and reached a hand up to cup his face. "I'm okay. Harlow is okay."

Simon shook his head. "You were attacked in our own home. I should have protected you more. I didn't think Maya would do any of this."

"Me neither. But Harlow is here now. Happy Valentine's Day."

Simon wiped his face. "I was going to surprise you tonight, but when I got that call from Clary, I rushed out and left it at the studio."

"It's okay." Bella said and then looked at Jace. "Jace." She choked up. She reached for him.

Jace came to her side and grabbed her hand in his. "Hey." He murmured.

"You delivered Harlow."

"I did." Jace said with a nod and Simon stared at him stunned.

Bella smiled. "Thank you for being calm and helping me make sure she got here safely."

"You did all the work. I was just there to make sure she didn't hit the floor." Jace said with a smile. "You're incredible."

Simon then hugged Jace, holding him tight. "I owe you everything." He said, his voice strained, more tears in his eyes.

"You owe me nothing. You're my brother Simon, Bella is my sister, and I love you both. I would do anything for you two, and that includes having to deliver any of my nieces or nephews. Although I request that you don't make that a habit." Jace said with a small laugh.

It made Simon laugh, and smile, which is what Jace was going for.

"I want to see her." Bella said. "I passed out momentarily in the ambulance, so I didn't get to hold her long."

Simon nodded and then paged the nurse to let them know that they could bring Harlow down.

A few hours later, Clary got to the hospital carrying clothes for Jace so he could change. Simon was holding Harlow, sitting in the chair beside Bella's bed.

"Hey," Clary said softly. "How are you feeling?" She asked Bella.

"I'm okay. Sore, but I'm okay. Thank you for saving me."

Clary smiled. "We came home for lunch instead of grabbing food out. I wanted to check on you. You said yesterday you were getting some Braxton hicks, and I wanted to be sure you were okay today." She explained.

Bella nodded. "Your timing is impeccable." She said with a small laugh.

Simon looked up at Clary. "Thank you," she said and looked at Clary's hand and frowned. "What happened?"

"Oh, when I knocked Maya away, she cut me. It's not a big deal. It's mostly superficial, not too deep." Clary said and looked at Harlow, all bundled up. "She's a valentine baby."

"She is." Simon murmured and looked down at his daughter. "Do you want to hold her?"

"Can I?" Clary asked and Bella smiled and nodded. Clary washed her hands and sat down, and Simon handed Harlow to her. She looked down at her sleeping face. "Hey there little girl," She murmured. "Auntie Clary is going to spoil you so much."

Simon laughed. "I don't doubt it."

"I can't wait for you to-"Clary stopped herself and looked up at Jace when he came into the room from the bathroom.

"Go ahead. Tell them." Jace said with a smile.

Clary smiled. "I can't wait for you to be the flower girl for Auntie Clary."

"You two finally are getting married?" Bella said, tears coming to her eyes.

"We are." Jace said with a smile. "I proposed this morning." He said and sat on the end of Bella's bed and made a motion to Clary so he could hold Harlow. Clary smiled and handed Harlow to Jace. Jace cradled her gently. "You probably are the cutest baby I've seen. I might be partial because I'm your godfather and all."

Simon laughed. "No she's pretty cute."

"I can't wait to have some of you." Jace murmured, staring at her.

Clary smiled. "One day."

Jace nodded. "Yeah. We should be married first shouldn't we and get a house, so we're not bums."

"You guys are not bums." Bella said with a laugh.

"The house next door is for sell." Simon mentioned.

Jace nodded. "Yeah, I know. Which is why I'm buying it." He said and looked at Clary. "It's not remodeled and fancy like you all's house, but it it's something I can manage."

Clary looked stunned again. "You bought a house."

"I'm in the process of buying it. Needs some work, so we can't move in immediately."

"Which is fine, because you guys have the basement." Bella said. "That's so great. I can't believe you bought it."

Jace smiled. "Yeah, Magnus is helping with the whole thing. His real estate agent is nice, and we negotiated with the sellers. We close in sixty days. It was the second part of the surprise I was telling Clary earlier today, but this surprise was even better." He said with a smile as he looked down at Harlow.

Clary felt tears well up. "You are amazing. I'm so lucky." She leaned over and kissed him and then kissed Harlow's head.

Simon sat back and looked at Bella, amazed at how strong she was, and how amazing she just was. He was happy with where they ended up. He never thought that he would be at this place in his life, but here he was.

Bella thought similarly. Not thinking she would ever find this much happiness. She had Simon, and now Harlow, and two best friends in the whole world that would do anything for her and Simon. It warmed her heart to see how together they all were. When she first came to New York, she had no idea what she wanted to do with her life. Now her life was full in so many ways, and she couldn't be happier. And Edward's words still rang true.

She didn't think about him at all anymore. It was as if he was never existed.
