So I just realized that there are two Mei's involved in this story, the Pacific Rim: The Black Mei and the Godzilla Singular Point Mei. To differentiate, I will call SP Mei by Mei Kamino and PR Mei as simply Mei.

After what seemed like a long time of walking through the tunnels, the twins and Hayley finally arrived at what seemed to be a massive underground lake. A thick fog was seen in the distance, blocking out the horizon.

"So, what now?" Hayley asked. Miana simply knelt down to the water and ran her hand across the top of it, humming something.

Hayley simply watched in confusion. "What's she doing?"

Maina replied, "She calling to the one who will take us to our Queen's island."

"Who?"

Hayley's question was answered as the water in front of them began to swell as a blue, serpentine titan emerged from the water. Hayley watched in amazement as the creature looked do to them, but made no threatening moves.

Miana smiled. "Bakunawa. We seek passage to the island."

Bakunawa seemed to understand and lowered its head, allowing the trio to climb on. Hayley was nervous at first, but with some reassurances from the twins, she too climbed on, and the Titan gently turned around and started on its way through the fog.

"Not much farther now" Miana told Hayley.

Hayley only hoped that was true; Mothra was her only hope at protecting Boy, or so she thought. She was not aware of a far more powerful Titan that now stalked the Black's shores...

...

Back at the Monarch base, Taylor, Adrian, Mei, Boy, Joel, Madison, and many others were summoned into the control room for an emergency meeting. As they entered, they could see Hana Serizawa's face; it was clear she was shaken by something.

"What is it?" Adrian asked.

"Too many things are happening at once, and now I know why." she replied, gesturing to the monitor next to her. It showed a video feed from a drone that showed the shorelines of the continent. What was disturbing was that the water was littered with dead kaiju bodies, each one either torn apart in some grisly way or with a hole burned into them.

Hana continued. "There's only one thing that could do something like this to the kaiju."

Mei Kamino's face was grim. "Gojira."

Boy recognized the name, immediately cowering behind Taylor.

Adrian became shocked. "Wait, he's here?! Already?!"

"It would seem so" Hana replied, "However, all he's been doing is waiting on the coastlines; he's made no attempt to head inland yet."

"He's waiting for something" Madison said.

"What could a Titan like him possibly be waiting for?" Mei asked, "It can't possibly be backup; he's already shredded those kaiju on his own."

"I don't know" Madison replied, "But I've been studying Godzilla for a long time now; if he does anything, he has good reason to."

Adrian watched another monitor that tracked Godzilla's movements and stroked his chin in thought. "He's not waiting."

Mei looked to her friend. "What do you mean?"

"He's looking for something" Adrian continued, "See how his trail loops around the west side a few times? He's tracking something."

"Tracking what then?"

Adrian simply shrugged, though Mei could see he had a point.

Yun spoke up. "Maybe that new signature we picked up?"

Taylor looked confused. "What signature?"

Yun showed Adrian his tablet, which showed a red surge in an open desert area.

"This just recently popped up" Yun explained, "We're not sure what it is, but it's definitely a kaiju or Titan of some kind. Actually, now that I'm looking at this again; this isn't far off from where Godzilla is circling."

Taylor overheard this. "Then we need to go too and find out what's going on."

Hana nodded her head before turning to Professor Otaki. "Are the mechs ready."

Otaki gave a proud smile. "Just put the finishing touches on both of 'em and Moguera's ready to fly too."

Taylor then spoke up. "I can't go. Hayley hasn't come back yet, so I don't have a co-pilot for Atlas."

Hana thought for a bit before saying, "Then you'll fly with your parent in Moguera. Kiryu, you and Jet Jaguar will go and investigate, while Moguera will provide any needed support. Understood."

"Yes ma'am" Mei said with a salute.

Adrian gained a more determined expression. "Alright, guys, let's move out!"

...

A few hours later, Mechagodzilla trod through the Australian desert, accompanied by a large, silver, drilling tank and sleek aircraft. Jet Jaguar casually sat on Mechagodzilla's shoulder.

"We're almost there" Mei announced as she watched the holomap inside Mechagodzilla's cockpit.

"Good" Taylor said over the coms. He was sitting in the drill tank alongside his father while his mother piloted the aircraft. They had gone on for a while now; thankfully, the site of the kaiju readings wasn't insanely far, and they were just about there.

As they walked, Adrian suddenly felt a shift in the ground under Mechagodzilla's feet and told everyone to stop as he analyzed the ground. After a few minutes, his expression turned into a mixture of shock and confusion as he looked at the scanner readings.

"That's not possible..." he gasped.

"What is it?" Taylor asked.

"We can't proceed."

"What?! What do you mean, we can't proceed!?"

"We're too heavy. We reached the spot, but the ground below us...it's completely hollow underneath."

There were a few moments of silence as the other let that sink in.

"A tunnel to Hollow Earth perhaps?" Taylor's mom suggested.

Adrian looked again at the readings and narrowed his eyes. "It doesn't look like a tunnel. It's more like..."

His eyes widened as he saw a creature's form begin to appear and realized what had happened; this was an ambush!

"Everyone get back!" he shouted. The mech and rig backed up just in time as the ground in front of them began to rumble before a massive green form erupted from the ground in front of them.

It was the ugliest thing they had ever seen: a mixture of plant and animal. It had no legs, just a plant-like base with a glowing orange core supporting a massive crocodilian head lined all over with teeth. Four vines also sprouted alongside it, moving as if they were the creature's appendages.

"What the hell is that?" Mei gasped.

From a cliff nearby, a small group of Kaiju Sisters watched.

"Go, Biollante!" the lead one cried, "Make the heretics suffer!"

As if seeming to hear, Biollante raised its head and let out a piercing cry. In turn Mechagodzilla raised his arms, ready to fight in a clash of titans. Jet Jaguar also leapt off the mech's shoulder and increased his size, growing to the size of Mechagodzilla. Adrian was surprised a robot could do that, but quickly took his mind off it; there was a kaiju to kill.

"Well," Adrian said in the cockpit, "Looks like we're taking this thing down! Let's see how ell these new upgrades work!"

None of them were aware that Godzilla had suddenly changed course. Sensing the surge of kaiju energy from Biollante's emergence, he turned toward the land and surfaced; finally, he had found his prey, and his rage was yet to be satisfied...
