As Michael made his way down the street, the street lamps were turning on, giving better visibility. But some of them flickered a bit. Michael stopped where he was. He felt it again. That feeling of being watched. He knew who it was. Jason was right behind him.

Michael turned around slowly to see...Jason Voorhees standing under a street light. Michael pulled out his knife. Readying himself. He stood motionless. Jason seemed to be breathing hard. Probably due to the mask he was wearing. His Machete had blood on it. It was fresh, a newly killed victim. Michael's rage grew as Jason stood there with the same machete that killed his sister. The fresh blood only worsened it. Jason was the first to walk to Michael. Once he was close enough, Jason slammed his machete down, only for Michael to walk to the side, dodging the machete as it hit the concrete sidewalk. Michael then punched Jason in the face. Jason staggered slightly only to retaliate with his own punch. Michael staggered a bit. Jason then pulled out his machete and swung it at Michael. Michael stepped back a bit to dodge the machete. Jason advanced forward as Michael backed up on the street. Jason swung his machete yet again, Michael dodged it by walking to the side. Michael then stabbed Jason in the shoulder, then stabbed him again. Jason didn't seem to flinch from the stabs.

Jason then rammed his elbow in Michael's gut, causing Michael to bend down from the blow. Jason then grabbed Michael by the back of the shirt and threw him into a parked car. Michael's head hit the car but he stayed on his feet. Jason advanced towards Michael, then grabbed the back of his head. Jason then continuously rammed Michael's head onto the side of the car. He rammed him harder and harder with each time Michael's head collided with the car. Michael didn't feel any pain, since he didn't know what pain was on Halloween, but that didn't mean that he could feel himself being rammed into a car. After a short while, Michael managed to catch himself by putting his hands on the car. Only for Jason to choke him by the back of the neck.

Michael could blackout, but he wasn't going to let that happen. Michael saw a shotgun in the car. All he had to do was get it out. Michael then broke the glass window, the car started blowing its horn. Before Michael could grab the shotgun, Jason rammed him against the car again, and again, and again, and again, again. Finally, Michael managed to grab the shotgun, via being rammed by Jason. Once Michael got a hold of the shotgun and tried to aim it at Jason's head only for it to be grabbed by the top of the barrel. Michael was still being choked at this rate. Michael was struggling to aim the barrel at Jason's face.

Fuck it.

Michael pulled the trigger right where it was. The shotgun fired, splattering Jason's left hand. After Jason lost his left hand, Michael rammed the shotgun end into Jason's face. Forcing him back.

Michael fired his shotgun again. Hitting Jason in the chest causing blood to spew out from the holes. Michael walked to Jason then kicked him in the gut. Jason fell to the ground as Michael continued to advance towards him. Michael pumped the shotgun to load a shell into the barrel. Jason grabbed his Machete, via on the ground. Michael was about to fire the shotgun in Jason's face only for it to be smacked aside by Jason, who smacked it with the machete. The shotgun was tossed aside as Jason got on his feet. He walked towards Michael. Michael backed away from Jason extremely calm.

Jason swung his machete down at Michael, only for him to dodge to the right and the machete to hit the car. The machete was stuck in the car, giving Michael the opportunity to strike. Michael punched Jason in the face continuously. Then returned the favor by slamming Jason's head into the car. Jason struggled to break free from Michael's grip. Michael had slammed him probably about seventeen times on the car by now. Michael tossed Jason into the middle of the street. Michael took the machete out of the car, leaving a massive cut in the car. Michael advanced towards Jason, who was recovering from the head slamming. Michael then swung the machete at Jason's chest, causing blood to spew from the slice. Michael then swung again this time at Jason's head. Jason ducked down from the swing and punched Michael in the gut. Michael bent down slightly but not enough for Jason to grab him.

Michael quickly retaliated by slamming his knee into Jason's face. Then headbutted his face again. Jason staggered backward. He knew he was outclassed without his weapon. At least from Michael. Yes, Michael had grown much stronger since the last time they fought, plus he was a kid at the time. Now Michael was a full-grown man and has proven to be more than a challenge for Jason.

Michael advanced towards Jason. The Shape swung the machete at Jason. Jason, with his remaining hand, caught to machete by its handle before the blade met his head. Michael punched Jason in the face, but Jason retaliated by slamming his head into Michael's. Michael staggered slightly but kept the Machete in his hand. But soon after Jason kicked Michael in the gut, causing Michael to fall backward and lose the Machete. Jason had the machete in his hand and was ready for round 2. Michael was leaning against the car. Which was still honking its horn. Some of the house lights were starting to turn on. Michael couldn't be exposed yet. It was too early. Michael grabbed his knife out of his pocket. He readied himself for Jason. Michael was a bit tired and exhausted. Jason didn't seem tired, but he was breathing hard. Michael stood up and prepared for the worst.

Bright lights came from Jason's right. He turned to see a massive Semi Truck coming towards him and didn't seem like stopping. The driver wasn't paying attention to where he was going. The semi-truck then slammed into Jason, blood splattered from the front of the massive vehicle. And the Semi didn't seem like it was going to stop.

The Semi kept going until it made a right turn after it went down a few short blocks. Michael let out a sigh of relief. He didn't know how much longer he could fight Jason. Jason was a lot more powerful than Michael initially thought, but so was Michael. Jason hadn't expected Michael to be such a formidable foe.

The car was still honking its horn. Michael couldn't do anything about that. Michael started to walk back to his home. The last thing he needed was an angry mob swarming him. He didn't want to be getting all that much attention, at least not from the whole town of Haddonfield.

Michael walked back home, in hopes of recovering his strength and hunting Jason afterward.

It was around 1:30 by the time Michael got back to his house. He closed the door behind him and looked for a place to rest. He needed to recover his strength if he were to hunt Jason.

Michael walked upstairs and found his old bed. Though he would never be able to fit on it. And he most certainly didn't want to sleep in his sister's bed. Guess he would have to rest in his mother's bed. Michael walked back out of his room to find his mother's bed.

Once he found his mother's bed he took off his mask, revealing his short black hair.

(A/N: Yes I did learn that Michael's hair was originally black, so I'm changing it now.)

Michael sat the mask on the old rusty stool. He walked over to the bed and laid down on the mattress, not bothering to wrap himself up with the blankets.

Michael stared at the ceiling, a mirror was just on the side of the bed. He looked at himself through the mirror, via laying on the bed. Michael saw himself. His face was scarred, A massive cut went across his right eye, but he could still see out of it. Michael shifted his gaze back to the ceiling.

Angel….

His sister was still out there. Somewhere.

And tomorrow….

He would find her…

And bring her home.

This is the way…
