"Long ago, there was a young and brilliant Scientist. One who sought to evolve the human race. But he was turned down by the leading Scientists. And saw his experiments to be too dangerous for human subjects. He made a promise to himself that he would find a way to evolve the human race.
"Damn these Simple apes! Dangerous Ideas, Treating me like a freak! Do these low lives believe that humanity has evolved this far? I will make sure that I find a way to evolve the human race into a far more versatile and sentient race." Doctor Genus said.
"It wasn't until he was 70 that his experiments finally paid off. He then returned his youth to his early days. He also made a group of clones of himself. He called it The House of Evolution. He started with animal experiments. Many were successful, while some failed to process the new genetic material. He then began human experiments, which proved far more-"
"UGH, this is taking too long," Saitama interrupted.
"Huh?" Armoured Gorilla said.
"What does any of this have to do with me? You're just trying to sound cool, aren't you?" Saitama said, getting impatient. Armoured Gorilla let out a whine of defeat.
"Enough jibber-jabber, just get to the point, ok," Saitama said, giving a more severe expression.
"My master is a busy woman; summarize this statement in 20 words or less," Genos said as she stood next to Saitama.
Armoured Gorilla looked a bit surprised.
"Sure, right, sorry about that."
The Obsessive Scientist
In the House of Evolution main room…
There was chattering amongst the room. Each man had a uniform similar to the other.
Doctor Genus himself walked into the room.
"What's all the commotion about?" Genus asked. The men turned towards him, all of them were clones of him. They all looked just like him.
City Z….Ghost Town…
"So in other words, the boss man of the house of evolution is passionately curious about you and your body." Armoured summarized the statement.
"Too bad, I'm not interested in men," Saitama replied.
"Master, that is not what he meant. Your body surpassed human limitations. Meaning he is wanting to use your body for his experimentation. If we do not stop him, he will most likely do it again. We cannot let this slip." Genos explained to Saitama.
"Sure, let's do it," Saitama said.
"Right," Genos said. Saitama had leaped into her building and grabbed her wig. She put it on and walked in the direction of the House of Evolution.
"Ugh, now?" Genos exclaimed.
"Yeah, there's a sale tomorrow. Can't do it then." Saitama said as she held up a pink piece of paper.
"But master," Genos said as she went after her master.
"This doesn't sound good, better tell the doctor…" Armoured Gorilla thought to himself. A radar antenna popped out of his head and was sending a signal to the House of Evolution.
"You there," Genos said. Armoured Gorilla was surprised.
"Oh, yes?" Armoured Gorilla said as the antenna quickly retracted back into his head.
"I have one last question for you," Genos said as she had her hand pointed at the Armoured Gorilla.
"The House of Evolution Cyborg Program, did it begin over four years ago? How many more were created? Have any of them destroyed towns in the past?" Genos asked a bit threateningly.
Armoured Gorilla was sweating a bit.
"I'm not sure, but at the House of Evolution, I'm the only combat cyborg." Armoured Gorilla gave her his honest answer.
Genos put down her hand.
"Hm."
Hero Association HQ
Tatsumaki was floating in the hallway as she made her way to the Control room. It had been a week now, and they hadn't learned much of anything about Saitama. They were running out of time. They had one more week until she would go meet Saitama herself. She didn't see the point in just watching her from a drone.
The door slid open, she expected to see the bearded worker sitting at his desk waiting for a response from Metal Knight. But no, the room was empty. And quiet, too quiet.
"Tornado of Terror, I have been expecting you." A robotic voice was heard inside the room. The door shut behind Tatsumaki immediately after she was about to go through it.
"I believe that we have pressing matters to discuss." The voice continued. A red eyeball was seen in the dark.
"Hmph, what do we have to talk about?" Tatsumaki said as she crossed her arms.
"I believe you know the answer to that." The voice continued. Then out came Class S Rank 9 Drive Knight.
"Like I would talk about it with you!" Tatsumaki said with a small tick mark forming on her head.
"Now, now, no need for threats. This is a matter of Class S heroes, yet you seem far more interested in the woman, Saitama than any other hero. Other than your sister, Hellish Blizzard." Drive Knight continued.
"Hmm, is that a problem?" Tatsumaki asked.
"No, But I have a different objective than to gain knowledge about your interest in this woman. I have personal reasons for making an acquaintance with this woman. More importantly, I'm in need to gather battle analysis on this hero." Drive Knight said.
"Ugh, You just want some damn data on this hero!? And What do I have to do with this?!" Tatsumaki asked, a few veins popped on her head.
"In order for Saitama to use her full power, as my data collection is in need. We need you to fight her. And attempt to kill her if at all possible." Drive Knight said.
"Kill her, huh?" Tatsumaki said.
"Indeed, I am currently joining Flashy Flash and a group of 6 other heroes to confront her. They want to crush her, but I in particular am after data for personal uses. So do you accept these terms?" Drive Knight finished.
Tatsumak was silent for a few moments. There would be no way Tatsumaki would turn an opportunity like this, Drive Knight thought.
"No," Tatsumaki answered.
"Pardon," Drive Knight asked.
"I'm sorry, is your audio not working, I said no," Tatsumaki replied back, she turned her back not facing him.
Drive Knight was silent for a few moments.
"Tornado of Terror, Class S Rank 2, Called the most powerful Esper the world has known…..what a joke." Drive Knight said. This time it caught Tatsumaki's attention. She turned to him with a surprised face.
"The world may see you as the world's second strongest hero, but all I see is a scared little girl." Drive Knight said.
"Wanna say that again, one eye," Tatsumaki said, her eyes glowed green.
"If you will not accept these terms as they are now, then perhaps the life of your sister will be enough to persuade." Drive Knight said.
"You touch her and I'll rip out that core of yours!" Tatsumaki replied.
"Your sister is currently in her Headquarters with the rest of her group. I have made sure that they won't be leaving. My drones have currently surrounded the area and are surveying the area as we speak. If you cannot accept these terms then the bomb that has been placed inside the building will convince you." Drive Knight said as the large screen displayed the Blizzard HQ. The screen switched to the inside where the bomb was directly underneath the building. And inside the building, was Class B Rank 1 Blizzard of Hell, with the rest of her subordinates. They were completely unaware of the drones let alone the bomb that was placed inside the building.
Tatsumaki looked at the screen with horror.
"If you accept my terms to fight Saitama, and my data is satisfied, then you and your sister can walk away from this and forget it occurred." Drive Knight continued.
Tatsumaki continued to stare at the screen. Yes, she may not show or admit that she loved her sister. But that doesn't mean that she won't protect her at any cost.
"All it'll take is a simple code, then the bomb will detonate. It will destroy every object within 200 meters of the blast. However, you fight Saitama, and I collect my data. Your sister is left unharmed and we can forget this ever happened." Drive Knight continued.
Tatsumaki stared at Drive Knight with hatred and anger, but fear was inside of her. A kind of fear that she hasn't felt ever since Blast had saved her.
"Fuck you!" She said to Drive Knight.
"Do you accept these terms, Tornado of Terror?" Drive Knight continued.
Tatsumaki gritted her teeth.
"If anything happens to her I swear I'll-"
"Do you. Accept. These. Terms?" Drive Knight said.
There was silence between the two.
"NNGG Fine, but nothing happens to her! UNDERSTAND!" Tornado shouted.
"Marvelous, And you need not worry about her. Though if you attempt to rat me out, then the detonation will be triggered, thus killing her and her subordinates." Drive Knight said.
"You're gonna pay for this, I fucking swear to God!" Tatsumaki shouted.
"Then our matter has been concluded. Meet us at the Outskirts of City Z, 4 days prior from now. And do try not to let anyone know. If that happens, then…" Drive Knight walked behind Tatsumaki heading to the door.
"I believe you know what may happen." Drive Knight finished as the door opened and he walked out the door.
Tatsumaki was left to process what just happened. Drive Knight, that bastard.
Tatsumaki didn't know what to do, but in order to keep this a secret then she might have to avoid everyone until Thursday.
"Damn you, Drive Knight," Tatsumaki muttered under her breath. He would pay for this.
House of Evolution...Control Room
"Our entire strike team obliterated." "How could this be possible?" "What are we going to do?" "We're out of options?" The voices of Genus's clones rambled on.
"According to Armoured Gorilla's message, the two responsible for destroying our team are on their way here." Clone 36 said.
"Nhg, damn it all," Genus said.
"We're in serious trouble." Clone 36 said.
"It's time to pull out our trump card..." Genus said. The clones eyes widened.
"Begin preparations for Carnage Kabuto," Genus said.
"What!?" "Oh no, that's crazy!?" "He's right this may be the only way." "This is too dangerous" The clones rambled on as they grew terrified from their most powerful yet uncontrollable creation.
"Quiet Down, He'll be our last resort," Genus said.
"But sir." Clone 37 said.
"We'll activate the traps from the first floor to the eighth, hopefully, that will keep them occupied long enough for us to be done with preparations, and I am aware of what may happen to us if we fail, especially to me," Genus said.
Forest Area of City Z
"I did not think we would be running the whole way," Genos said as she had her arms behind her and was in front of Saitama.
"How else are we gonna get there?" Saitama asked Genos.
"It was my assumption, you had the ability to fly," Genos said as she leaped over a hill, while Saitama followed on.
"You know humans can't do that, right?" Saitama said as she landed right behind Genos and kept running.
"It is incredible that you never arrive late. You truly are a real hero, master." Genos said as she leaped over another hill showing The House of Evolution.
"Really no way, I hardly ever arrive on time," Saitama said.
We're here," Genos said. Saitama came up behind her.
"This is the place," Genos continued.
"Well, let's see, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, looks like there are about 8 floors." Saitama was cut off when Genos fired her incineration cannons at the building. Destroying it completely and making a massive canyon.
"Ummm, that seemed a little harsh don't you think?" Saitama said with her eyes widened a bit.
"So you see, I believed that it would be easier to finish them in one swift attack, ending them before any problems were made," Genos said as the orange glow on her arms died down.
"Well, yeah maybe, but they could've had a lot of cool stuff in there that we could have seen. But no way for us to change that now." Saitama said as she walked past Genos and looked around for something that could lead underground.
She found something that looked like an entrance underground, it was covered by a metal sheet but Saitama grabbed a corner of it and pulled it off bending the sheet in the making.
"Looks like there's a basement," Saitama said. Genos came up behind her and crouched down next to Saitama.
"Indeed, perhaps some of the survivors are down there. If so, we should eradicate them." Genos said in a bit of a serious tone at the end.
"Ummm, sure I guess," Saitama said bluntly. Saitama wasn't going to be the one to kill a human, even if they were assholes. Genos on the other hand was completely different, she was meant to be a killing machine, even though she had human emotions and whatnot.
Down in the basement of the Destroyed House of Evolution
There were gunshots heard in the long hallway of the basement.
"Stop it! Just Stay AWAY!" Clone 25 yelled as he had an Assault Rifle in his hands shooting nonstop at Carnage Kabuto. The monster then punched the clone completely obliterating him. Carnage Kabuto let out a breath of air.
Genus was walking towards the chambers of Carnage Kabuto.
He entered the chamber. There were dead clone corpses all across the room.
"Carnage Kabuto, are you well? It would appear that you have killed a bunch of my clones. Are you satisfied?" Genus asked Carnage Kabuto who had his back facing Genus.
He turned around quickly and gave an intimidating glare.
"You fool, why would I be satisfied, I've been locked up down here ever since I was created." Carnage Kabuto said as he grabbed his chains that wrapped around his massive hands. He then crushed them.
"I'm the strongest creation in the entire HOUSE OF EVOLUTION! I'm the new race of human beings that you so sought to make." Carnage Kabuto said as he got close to Genus's face.
"No you're a failure, yes you may be the strongest and the fastest creation, but you lack humanity." Genus thought to himself.
"Kill me if you want, plenty of clones to take my place," Genus said. Carnage grew a bit deceived by this.
"But before you do, I have one last favor to ask," Genus said.
"Oh yeah, and what do I get in return?" Carnage Kabuto asked.
"Your freedom, in exchange for her," Genus said as a screen came online and showed both Saitama and Genos walking down the stairs into the basement.
"Why didn't you say that to begin with, HELL YEAH I'LL DO IT!" Carnage Kabuto said.
"Dead or Alive," Genus finished.
Down the hallway
"This dude's basement is really long, I'm getting fired up," Saitama said. Saitama and Genos were walking side by side. If anyone was wondering if they had a relationship stronger than what they are now...there wasn't. They were simply Master and Apprentice, Mentor and Student. Saitama did have a liking for women since men didn't seem interested in her. Genos was interested in both genders but now she was a female, a woman would probably not go for her. But none of this was important. They needed to focus on taking down Dr. Genus.
Genos stopped and looked behind her.
"I'm detecting two strong energy readings….ugh, master two of them are approaching us," Genos said. Saitama looked in the direction Genos was looking.
There was glass shattering and destruction coming from the direction they were looking.
"ALRIGHT, HERE WE GO!" Carnage Kabuto shouted. He had Genus in his one hand as he ran through the hallway.
"WHICH ONE IS IT?!" Carnage asked.
"The one on the right," Genus said.
"In that case, you don't need the one on the left." Carnage said. He ran straight at Genos. She put her arms up, just in time before Carnage slammed his fist into her, sending her through the wall. There was a massive hole in the wall and Genos could not be seen.
"Wow, Genos, are you still alive?!" Saitama asked. No Response.
"My name is Carnage Kabuto, we got a big arena back this way, We'll duke it out there, Pretty Face." Carnage Kabuto said.
"You just turned Genos into a bad piece of art…." Saitama said her expression turned serious.
"Let's do this," Saitama said once more.
Carnage Kabuto's smile grew.
Large Arena Room
"Pretty big huh, this is where we test our skills and our might, so there's plenty of room to kick your ass!" Carnage Kabuto said. Saitama was walking up to him and her cape swayed in the air.
Just then an orange blast came from the direction of the entrance.
"Oh, I felt that, Hit me Again!" Carnage Said as he saw Genos, who had seen better days. Her face was cracked slightly. Her eyes glowed orange.
"Accelerate!" Genos shouted as she disappeared. She was moving so fast she couldn't be seen by the naked eye. But Saitama and Carnage could see her. Saitama could see her more clearly than Carnage.
Genos appeared behind Carnage. She quickly did a roundhouse kick into his face. This time he actually flinched and was sent back a bit. Green blood flew from his mouth.
"Hey, you're not as bad as I thought you were." Carnage said with a grin on his face.
Genos wasn't taking it. She placed her feet on the floor and disappeared yet again. Getting really close to Carnage's face, this time she threw many punches that were too fast to see. She was getting somewhere by moving Carnage.
"Alright, that kinda stung a little." Carnage said after the few barrages of punches. Genos glared at him with heavy intimidation. She wasn't done yet. She would use her Side swords as a last resort.
"But I think it's my turn now." Carnage said as he vanished. Appearing behind Genos. She looked behind her with just her eyes. Carnage threw a side punch. Genos put up her right arm to prevent her skull from being further damaged. This sent her flying into a wall. There was a crater on the wall but she fell off of it and landed on her feet.
"Not bad, not bad Cyborg Chick. You managed to hurt me a little, I'll give you that. But you're not strong enough to kill me." Carnage said.
"I'm not done yet!" Genos said as thrusters on her shoulder made her levitate off the ground. She then rushed straight towards Carnage and said.
"MACHINE GUN BLOWS!"
This sent a blizzard of punches at Carnage. Carnage's face was with confidence but now it turned to fear. He put up both of his arms and tried to block the barrage of punches.
Each blow connected, causing Carnage to move back inch by inch. Massive explosions were coming from each punch delivered to Carnage.
"SIDE SWORD: WHIRLWIND!" Genos said as her side swords sheathed out of her side. She then did a massive twirl. A gust of wind was created from her Whirlwind. Forming a tornado-like form. Carnage's arms were scratched up, almost even dismembered. But Carnage couldn't find an opening for a counterattack. He would just have to wait it out until her barrage was done.
Genos's right leg then grew a harpoon-like blade that came out of her calves.
"DRILL HARPOON!" Genos shouted as she kicked Carnage into his arms this time doing massive damage to him. It sent him flying back into the wall and even did a number on his body. His mouth was dripping green blood, his arms had scars. Massive cuts were sliced on them.
"Alright, now that was exciting! I'll say this Cyborg Chick, If I didn't put up my arms, huh, I would probably be dead now!" Carnage said. Genos was out of options. Those were a few of her most powerful attacks, yet this monster still stood on his legs. Good thing he was hurting. Or else Genos would feel helpless at this point.
"Alright, my turn." Carnage said. He dashed incredibly fast, rushing towards Genos.
He then sent a series of punches at her. Genos put up her arms in hopes of blocking the attacks and sustain minimal damage. The first punch nearly knocked the wind out of her, but he threw more punches. Genos was losing consciousness but she stayed on her feet as best as she could.
Carnage then threw a more serious punch, this sent Genos flying into Saitama. Genos tumbled a bit.
Saitama caught her. Her leg was in one hand and her back was in the other.
"He got me good, I'll take him," Genos said as her vision was getting fuzzy.
"Your face is cracked and you're all beat up, don't push yourself, Genos," Saitama said. Genos was about to fire an Incineration cannon, but she had a different idea.
She then dashed straight at Carnage moving at high speed. She threw a punch at Carnage, but he smashed her into the ground.
"Oh come on, don't tell me that's all you've got, I was just starting to have some excitement, HAHAHAHA" Carnage said. He then pummeled Genos's body constantly.
"HAHAHAHAHA! Come on Cyborg Chick, You can do that, be a good babe and keep fighting! HAHAHAHA" Carnage shouted as he continued to pummel Genos into the ground.
"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Saitama shouted at Carnage.
Carnage stopped and gave her a confused face.
"What, not enjoying your girlfriend getting pummeled? I'm finding it very, very entertaining." Carnage said.
"First off, she's not my girlfriend, second, I thought you wanted to fight me. Genos doesn't need to get pounded into bad art for no reason. Your fight's with me, Carnage." Saitama said with a bit of seriousness in her tone.
"Oh, Someone's acting tough! I like people who act tough, especially if they're human chicks!" Carnage said as a joke.
Genos was just trying to recover after being pummeled by Carnage Kabuto. Thrusters on her shoulders turned on and she disappeared. She reappeared behind Saitama. She was on one knee breathing heavily.
"He's so powerful, I couldn't…..beat him," Genos said.
"Hey, you did good Genos, You had me worried for a second. But now I'm taking it from here." Saitama said as she walked up to Carnage. Genos was glad to make her master proud. But She still felt like she was just preventing the inevitable.
"Oh I see it, I see it. You're supposed to be strong aren't you?" Carnage said as Saitama walked up to him with a serious expression.
"Don't disappoint me now, You're supposed to be this place's strongest fighter. Look at you, just dozing with confidence." Saitama said.
Carnage Kabuto grinned.
He ran insanely fast. Going behind Saitama.
"Such speed…" Genos thought to herself.
Carnage reappeared behind Saitama, he was about to throw a punch at her, but immediately stopped. He could sense something. Death.
His expression was filled with fear. He leaped back up against the wall, getting a massive distance between him and Saitama.
Saitama looked behind her a bit confused.
"Hey, uh, what's the matter?" Saitama asked. Carnage's heart was beating fast and he was breathing heavily.
"If I attacked her just now, she would've killed me. Who the hell is this bitch. My senses are screaming danger signs at me!" Carnage thought to himself.
"BASTARD! WHAT ARE SOME KIND OF FREAK!? HOW IN THE HELL DID YOU GET THAT STRONG!?" Carnage shouted at Saitama.
Genos looked in astonishment.
"So you wanna know too huh, Fine I'll tell you," Saitama said.
"Wait, is she actually going to tell them the secret to her power?" Genos thought to herself.
"I would like to know as well." The voice of Genus was heard.
"Huh, who are you?" Saitama asked.
"I'm Genus," Genus said.
"Fine whatever, Now listen, this training is intense. And you can't stop no matter what you do." Saitama said.
"Master?" Genos said.
"What, no genetics, no physical experimentation, just training?!" Genus thought to himself.
"What training?" Carnage thought to himself.
"100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, and 100 squats!" Saitama shouted. Genos, Genus, and Carnage looked at her with a bit of confusion and dumbfounded.
"And A 10-kilometer run! Do it every single day! Even when my arms made cracking noises I kept doing push-ups. Even when I felt like my legs couldn't move I kept doing squats. Guys fooling around with this evolution crap, they're not gonna come even close, we humans are strong, We're strong because we can change ourselves!" Saitama finished with a proud smile.
"Is this bitch for real?" Carnage thought.
"Master you are so…" Genos thought.
"FULL OF CRAP!" Genos shouted.
Saitama's proud smile went away.
"That is nothing but standard strength training. It is not even that intense. I need to get stronger, understand me! I did not go under you to hear your jokes! Master please, your power is more than one can achieve by just training." Genos shouted.
"Yes that's true she must…" Genus's thoughts were interrupted when Genos said.
"Your True Secret! PLEASE REVEAL IT!" Genos said.
There was a short silence between the two.
"Look Genos, You may not believe me, but that's all I really did," Saitama said.
Genos's expression grew to shock. Her master may be telling the truth. That may be all she could've done.
"Oh yeah?" Carnage said as he stepped forward.
"If you won't tell us the secret...So be it! I bet you're not as strong as me, not even close! And since you seriously pissed me off! I'm gonna annihilate you!" Carnage said as his body grew larger and changed color.
"No, no you can't!" Genus said as he began to panic. The room turned red, the doors were shutting.
"CARNAGE MODE!" Carnage said he was 5 times bigger and his body color was purple with a few green veins that slid down his body.
"WHEN I GET LIKE THIS, I GET REALLY PISSED AND MY WANT FOR BLOOD CANNOT BE CONTAINED! ONCE I KILL YOU I'LL GO ON A BLOODY KILLING RAMPAGE TIL NEXT SATURDAY!" Carnage yelled. Saitama's face grew terrified as she realized that she made the biggest mistake in her life.
"IF YOU REALLY ARE A STRONG HERO! THEN LET'S SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO!" Carnage yelled again. He then screamed manically. HE then dashed in front of Saitama and punched her in the face sending her flying into the wall. He then dashed at her again this time faster.
He pounded her into the wall. He pummeled her continuously, soon after he sent her into the ground.
"DIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIE!" Carnage screamed as he continuously pummeled Saitama down on the ground. Saitama had her arms up to block the attacks.
"No way, this guy's in Carnage mode for a whole week. He said he'll be like this til next Saturday. That means…" Saitama thought to herself.
"It's all over, there's nothing in this world that can stop my glorious creation." Genus thought as his eyes shined brightly seeing the display of power Carnage Kabuto had been putting on.
"That means today is…... BARGAIN DAY AT THE SUPERMARKET!" Saitama yelled as she accidentally punched Carnage's head clean off thus the room reverted back to its white color.
Genus looked at her with utter shock and astonishment.
Saitama screamed in the air.
"AAAAAAAAAGHHH"
"Who the hell is this woman?!" Genus thought.
"I believe she is mad because she is missing this," Genos said as she showed Genus a pink paper revealing a Bargain at the Supermarket, Saturday Only.
"Master, the store closes at 10:00 pm. If we hurry we can make it." Genos said as she walked to Saitama.
"So you're saying that if we hurry we can make it?!" Saitama said.
"LET'S GO GENOS!" Saitama said as Genos followed.
"RIGHT!" Genos said.
Genus stood there with shock.
"I think I'm done, babbling with evolution…." He thought to himself. A massive explosion was created. A hole was seen in the wall as Saitama and Genos rushed to the Supermarket.
"It would appear I'm the one who must change." Genus thought.
Hero Association HQ
Child Emperor had been reviewing the display of power that both Genos and Saitama had shown at the House of Evolution. Both of them were worthy of Class S. But now it was dealt with.
"So Child Emperor, your thoughts on these two women." The voice of Metal Knight was heard from a computer.
"Well, I mean they're both worthy of Class S that's for sure. But why haven't we heard or even known about them before now? I just find it a bit odd is all." Child Emperor spoke to Metal Knight.
"I agree completely. Though the Hero Association is looking forward to recruiting the two. Especially Saitama. However, have you been noticing the young Tornado's behavior?" Metal Knight tried to change the subject even though it was interesting.
"Huh? Oh you mean Tatsumaki, She's been really distant and no one knows why. When I tried to ask her she just said "Fuck off Brat," Which is something she usually wouldn't say...to me at least." Child Emperor spoke again.
