sorry that I haven't posted in so long guys but here I am this is the second to last chapter before the second book so enjoy this bittersweet end.
They walked down to dinner. Emma held Sam in one hand and she held Regina's hand in the other. Regina was lost in thought the whole way there, she felt a bit guilty she didn't tell Emma everything. But she was afraid that if she told her Emma would look at her differently, treat her differently if not leave her.
"What's going on in that pretty little head of yours?" Emma asked gently as they entered the dining room and took their seats at the head of the table. Ever since Emma moved her chair to Regina's end it never left.
"We'll talk about it later," Regina sighed, holding her hands out to grab their son. Emma could see the distress in Regina's features but she didn't press it knowing Regina didn't want to talk in front of everyone.
"Hey guys," Ruby greeted, walking in and taking her usual seat next to Belle's.
"Good evening Ruby," Regina said with a small smile that was clearly forced.
"Is there something wrong?" Ruby asked with a confused expression.
"No, no nothing but Sammy has a stomach bug," Regina said, not lying but she wasn't telling the truth either.
"Oh kid, I hope you feel better," Ruby said sympathetically. She's had a couple of stomach bugs as a kid and they are no joke. They watched as chef Emily brought out the food for dinner on platers, granny following behind them with scowl on her face usually meaning they cooked tonight.
Regina wasn't hungry and even if she was she would not be able to hold it down especially not with the coming conversation she was to have with Emma later. Thinking about the things he did to her back then. It made her sick and it pissed her off that even after all these years the thought of him could bring her to tears.
"Here's the boy's soup," Granny said, sitting Regina's plate and Sam's bowl down in front of the queen, snapping her out of her dangerous thoughts.
"Thank you," Regina said, adjusting the boy in her arms so he could eat properly. Sam didn't waste any time digging into his soup and Emma didn't wait before filling her plate with food. The only one who had not made a move to get any food was Regina and Emma noticed immediately.
"Gina?" Emma said quietly.
"I can't I-I don't feel well" Regina said letting her head fall back against the back of her chair.
"I'll be fine, I just won't hold anything down at the moment," Regina murmured, closing her eyes as the dark memories flashed behind her eyes.
"Daddy did I get mommy and the baby sick?" Sam asked, his lip trembling.
"Oh no sweetheart you didn't make me sick I promise," Regina said reassuring the boy.
"Ok," Sam said, not fully believing his mother's statement. Emma watched her fiance during the whole dinner. Regina didn't glance at the food; she kept her gaze on the wall while everyone participated in idle conversation.
"So Regina, do you guys have a date for the wedding ceremony?" Belle asked. Everyone quieted to hear if Regina would answer or not, everyone took notice that she wasn't eating nor was she speaking especially to Granny but the look Emma gave them told them she had it under control.
"No, I haven't." Regina said, simply turning her gaze to Belle. "I honestly don't want a big ceremony where the kingdom comes, yes I love my kingdom and I know they are loyal and loving subjects but i just don't have the greatest experience with it, so I think we will just keep it small," Regina explained.
"You're sure that's what you want?" Mal questioned cocking her head to the side.
"Positive," Regina said with a nod of her head. Regina's explanation brought silence to the table. Graham looked at his sister, question in his eyes and Emma couldn't answer it. After a couple more minutes of sitting in the unbearable silence Emma got up. "Welp we need to get this one to bed," Emma said, holding her hand for Sam.
"I don't wanna go to sleep daddy," Sammy whined.
"Well if you wanna be a big strong knight one day you have to rest," Emma says watching Sam's eyes light up.
"Ok he said, grabbing Emma's hand and letting her pick him up. Emma held out her other hand to Regina who took it without hesitation.
"Goodnight everyone," Regina said, getting out of her chair and letting Emma walk her out.
"Daddy can I sleep with you and mommy tonight?" Sam asked.
"Not tonight kid but you can tomorrow alright," Emma said, seeing the unreadable expression on Regina's face. They walked into Sam's room and Emma laid him on the bed using her hand to light a few candles knowing how Sam hated being shrouded in complete darkness by himself.
"Mommy can you tell me a bedtime story?" Sammy asked with his big green eyes snapping Regina from her thoughts.
"Of course sweetheart," Regina said with a small smile tucking him in.
"There once was a queen who was strong and powerful but she wasn't happy. Then one day she was told by her mother to teach a certain knight in training but the Queen refused, she refused to work because she despised the knight or so she told herself. But her mother gave her no choice so she helped the knight become strong and powerful but she started falling in love, something she thought she would never do again. It scared her but the knight gave her a kiss reassuring her everything was fine and they lived happily ever after." Regina finished as the boy's eyes drooped closed.
"Happily ever after?" Emma questioned with a smirk.
"If your parents weren't such a pain in the ass, yes, but yes happy."
Regina said as they made they're way out of the room.
Once they made it back to their room Regina's anxiety washed over her like someone had decided to pour a bucket of cold water over her head.
"What did you want to talk about?" Emma asked pulling Regina onto the balcony, it had become somewhat their safe place.
"It's nothing I-I figured it out already, so everything's fine," Regina stuttered out trying to quickly make up a lie.
"No it's not tell me what you wanted to talk about," Emma urged.
"It's nothing Emma Ok really," Regina murmured trying to keep her composure.
"Stop pushing me away and tell me what's wrong," Emma said, pulling Regina to her chest.
Regina took a deep breath through her mouth and exhaled through her nose.
"I didn't tell you everything." Regina whispered.
"About Snow?" Emma asked.
"yes , but it's her father." Regina said, laying her head on Emma's chest.
"You killed him," Emma said.
"It's why I killed him," Regina said. Emma was silent waiting for Regina to go on.
"He was a nice king to his subjects and his precious daughter, but when it came down to his wife well it was a different story,"
"It was after the ball, I went to my room and got ready for bed. I knew what was coming I wasn't stupid I know what was expected of me when becoming his wife, mother made sure of that after she killed daniel. After I was dressed I waited on my bed anxiously, I knew he was coming I just didn't know when. I waited for about an hour before I fell asleep and I woke up to him shaking me telling me he wanted me and that he needed a son and that's all I was good for. I could smell the alcohol on his breath, he started tearing my gown and I tried to push him off but I was too weak so I started hitting him but it was no use he went on for hours and I was up for every second of it, as he whispered how beautiful my body was in my ear. It only got worse physically and sexually and mentally. I was only 17, barely an adult when I turned 19 I had him killed by Sidney, my magic mirror, and then I had Rumple teach me magic. While SNow ran amok as a bandit and made an alliance and took back her kingdom." Regina finished.
Emma was enraged. She was glad Regina killed him because if she didn't she would've, on the spot. Emma felt sick being related to these people; she hated how long it took her to see her parents' true colors. 15 years she should've seen it sooner her whole family were liars and monsters.
"Hey, he's gone. He's dead ok," Regina whispered, pressing a kiss on the king's lips.
"Ok," Emma whispered, holding Regina tighter and placing her hands on Regina's belly immediately feeling kicking in response.
"You know what Granny told Sam?" Emma asked with a soft smile lingering on her lips at the thought.
"What?" Regina asked, relaxing in Emma's arms. The memories she tucked so deep inside herself had come out today and it drained her mentally and emotionally.
"She told Sam that we're having babies," Emma said, chuckling softly into Regina's shoulder.
"As in plural?" Regina asked.
"Yes,Yes," Emma said with a grin.
"As much kicking as 'they' do I wouldn't be surprised but we can confirm it with tink tomorrow in the morning," Regina suggested.
"Alright," Emma agreed, "We might be parents of three," Emma said almost in awe.
"When the babies come what's one thing you're looking forward to?" Regina asked, looking at the stars.
"Watching you breastfeed," Emma said laughing.
"Emma!" Regina shrieked, pushing Emma away but not being able to hide her amusement, "I hate you," Regina said in between laughs.
"No you don't," Exclaimed, pulling Regina's backside to her front.
"No I guess I don't," Regina said with a smile and a roll of her eye's.
"Oh I already knew that," Emma mumbled on Regina's shoulder.
"Why are you looking forward to seeing me breastfeeding? Regina asked curiously.
"Because it's such a beautiful thing that mothers do for their babies." Emma gushed.
"I swear sometimes you are such a softie." Regina smiled.
"I am not a softie." Emma fake protests.
"You are most definitely a softie." Regina laughs.
"I'm hard and rough," Emma growled.
"Ok rough guy get in the bed." Regina laughed as she pushed Emma toward their bed. The pair got in bed and Emma spooned Regina. She felt a kick from the baby as a result of her hand on Regina's belly. "Someone sure isn't sleepy. Regina laughed.
Emma rubbed Regina's belly with a big grin on her face.
It was a cold morning in the Dark Kingdom. Emma and Regina were fast asleep. Regina was curled up on Emma trying to steal her body heat. Emma didn't mind though she loved the way her queen's skin felt on her own. The two were in their perfect warm bubble. Unaffected by the cold world around them. If only it could be like this every day for them.
There was a knock at their door. "Who is it?" Emma called out.
"It's Sam." He answered.
Emma made sure that Regina and herself were decent before she gave her answer. "Come in." Sam entered the room and got on Emma's hip.
"Daddy Mommy's in my spot." He pouted.
Emma looked down at Regina whose face was in the crook of her neck. "I know buddy mommy's cold." Emma chuckled. She looked at her shirtless son with his lip sticking out. "I see you aren't cold."
"I'm still hot." Said Sam.
"Are you feeling any better?" Emma asked.
"A little but my tummy hurts." He whines.
"I'm sorry buddy." Said Emma. She got out of bed and Regina whined at the loss of contact. Emma laid Sam down on the bed in her spot. "Keep mommy company while I get your medicine."
"Ok, Daddy," Sam said as he cuddled into Regina. Emma came back in and gave him a cap full of medicine which he hated. "Eww, this tastes nasty."
"I know but it's going to make you feel better," Emma said as she moved him so he was sitting on her stomach. "Guess what's going to happen today."
"What?" Sam asked.
"We're going to see the baby today," Emma said excitedly.
"How are we going to see the baby if it's in mommy's tummy?" He asked.
"A fairy is going to use magic so we can see in Mommy's stomach," Emma explained.
"Yay I get to see my sibling." He smiled.
"Do you want a baby brother or sister?" Emma asked.
"I want both!" Sam cheered.
"Ok." Emma laughed.
After a few minutes, Regina began to wake up seeing Emma and their son talk about the baby. "Hello, you two." Regina smiled.
"Hey, Mommy," Sam said, hugging Regina.
"I heard Daddy tell you the news." Said Regina.
"Yeah, we get to see the baby today." He smiles.
"We sure do, big guy. Do you want to see the baby right now or do you want to wait until after breakfast?" She asked.
"Now please," Sam asked.
"Ok go put on a shirt, brush your hair, and your teeth," Regina tells him.
"Mommy" He whines.
"Sam go do what I told you to do. Daddy and I have to do the same thing too." Regina said sternly.
"Ok, Mommy," Sam said, getting off the bed and leaving the room.
They all got ready. Regina puts on some silk pajama-like pants and a sweater. Emma puts on her normal riding pants and a white sweater. When they were finished Sam came in with still no shirt. "Sam baby, where's your shirt? It's cold," Regina said, a little frustrated.
"I don't want to wear one." He said tapping on his stomach.
"Emma." Regina groaned.
"I'll talk to him later right now let's just get Tinkerbell here ok." Said Emma.
"Ok, Tinkerbell," Regina calls out.
Tinkerbell appears in the room knocking off the dust of her fluffy skirt. "It's that time isn't it?" Tinkerbell asked excitedly. She was looking forward to seeing how the baby was doing. It was the only part of what she was doing with her life that made her happy. "Lift up your shirt Regina," Tinkerbell instructed. She recited an incantation making a glowing light appear in her hands. Tinkerbell moved her hands to Regina's stomach transferring the light from her hand to Regina's stomach. Regina's stomach begins to glow revealing the baby.
"Oh my god, Regina looked at it, wait there's two!" Emma says jumping up and down.
"See Daddy I told you there were babies in Mommy's tummy." Sam smiles.
"You were right buddy," Regina says looking at her stomach.
"And it looks like one's a boy and the other is a girl." Said Tinkerbell.
"Looks like you're going to get a baby brother and sister Sam." Said Regina.
"Yay." He said kissing Regina's belly.
"I can't believe we're having two babies." Regina laughed with tears of joy running down her eyes.
"I love you so much." Emma smiles.
"I love you too." Said Regina.
"Don't forget about me." Sam fake pouts.
"We love you too buddy." Emma smiles.
"Do you two have names picked out?" Tinkerbelle asked, removing her hands from the queen's belly.
"Yes, they're names will be Henry and Elizabeth Swan-Mills," Emma said proudly.
"Those are beautiful names," she exclaimed, bursting with excitement like the rest of them.
"Mommy, how will they come out if they're in your belly?" Sam curiously asked, his hand placed firmly on her belly.
"How about I tell you after breakfast, so go get your shirt on so we can head down." Regina said with a soft smile.
"Ok," Sam said with a grin, jumping off the bed and rushing out of the room. Regina pulled her shirt down and looked at Emma who was staring at her with a loving gaze.
"What?" Regina said, getting up.
"Nothing," Emma said with a smirk.
"You two are so adorable," Tink said, earning a glare from the King and Queen.
"We are not children, children are adorable. We are mature, intelligent adults." Regina said, making both Tink and Emma laugh. "Can we go now I'm starving," Regina whined.
"Yes, my children want food they shall have it," Emma said dramatically while walking Regina and Tink out the room to be met by Sam. He held out his arms to be picked up by his father.
"C'mon Sam I can't pick you up all the time you're a big boy." Emma said almost whining.
"Please daddy," Sam begged using his puppy dog eyes knowing it would have his parents caving. Emma looked at Regina for help but the queen only smirked.
"You baby him more than I do. Em don't know what you expected." Regina sighed going ahead of them to get to breakfast. Tink followed behind Regina going on about a party or ball to celebrate the twins.
Emma knew that with Regina's visions lingering around like an aftertaste that wouldn't be happening anytime soon so putting that thought to rest Emma looked down at Sam picking him up with a huff before going to catch up with her fiancé and the fairy.
All three of them walked into the dining room to see the table filled with food by the four usual cooks. "Good Morning you three, seems everyone is in a good mood including our dragon." Granny nodded her head towards Maleficent who was laughing and talking with Ruby, her legs crossed on the table.
"Maleficent we eat at the table so unless you want to have your meals on the floor I suggest you keep your feet where they belong!" Regina yelled, making the dragon jump.
"No need to yell, just next time use your inside voice," Maleficent said, taking her feet off the table. Regina sat in her chair and watched Sam bring his chair on the other side of hers.
"What are you doing Sam?" Regina asked as he sat in his chair.
"Daddy sits by you and I wanna sit by you too," he said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Regina smiles at his words, turning her attention to the food sitting on display in front of her. Granny came out of the kitchen with a pitcher of milk and poured Sam a glass knowing he loved the morning beverage.
Regina could barely control herself. She wanted to fill her plate up with food she never even gave a thought of eating and yet here she was nearly drooling at the sight of bacon. Granny could see the hunger in Regina's gaze and chuckled " Dig in girl you did skip dinner last night," Granny said.
Regina looked at Granny again before she put a couple pieces of bacon with fruit and toast with cooked ham. Emma sat down in her chair with a grin seeing her fiancés pregnancy cravings making their appearance was definitely a sight.
Snow sat in her cell, her eyes closed listening to the rats skitter around her. Then she heard a whoosh which would have only been made by someone with magic. Opening her eyes she was met by her friend the blue fairy.
"Blue, what are you doing here?" Snow said, jumping to her feet.
"Breaking you out of here I was able to get the black fairy's wand which should break the spell keeping you here." She explained.
"Because it's dark magic," Snow said.
"Yes, and from what I can feel Emma's dark magic is indeed powerful but the spell she put on this cage isn't hard considering she didn't put much magic in it." The fairy said, whisking the wand and watching the magical barrier dissolve.
Regina was the first to feel the presence of an unwelcome visitor. Then both Emma and Mal felt it too. "What the hell is she doing here?" Regina gritted our standing up from her chair.
"She has to be here to break her out," Emma growled as she was beyond pissed.
"Do you need me to accompany you?" Maleficent asked, standing from her seat.
"No we got it, and Sam stays here do you understand" the queen said looking down at their son.
"Alright," Mal said, looking over to the young boy while the king and queen disappeared in a cloud of purple and red smoke.
"Well look what we have here, a bug on a mission to save dear ole Snow," Regina left her dark chuckle to fill the silence.
"You have the Black fairy's wand there, meaning you had to go through all the work to steal it from her to get your precious Snow, but was it worth it Blue is saving Snow worth all the hell you're about to go through with not just us but the black fairy?" Emma asked with an evil grin that sent chills down the fairy's spine.
"Here I'll offer you a deal, you leave Snow here and I'll help with black fairy problem but if you take Snow the black fairy will become a new friend of ours," Emma said, her grin never faltering.
"I would pick the first choice cause you just interrupted my breakfast and I'm not in the giving mood nor do I have the patience to sit here and wait for you to answer," Regina said taking a step towards the fairy.
Blue grabbed Snow's arm and threw a spell at Regina who deflected it with ease. With the flick of her wrist the black fairy's wand appeared in her hand.
"Well this is a powerful thing indeed I would be pissed if this were stolen." Regina said as she felt the dark magic lick deliciously at her skin.
Blue looked at Regina with wide frightened eyes.
"Blue go," Snow said.
With a nod they disappeared in a cloud of Blue smoke leaving the king and queen.
"Well I guess we're making a new alliance." Emma said with a grin.
"With this she would most definitely agree to anything we'd like to accomplish," Regina said.
"You looked so sexy.." Emma murmured. Pulling Regina in.
"We just lost your mother and the only thing you can think about is how sexy I looked," Regina asked with a smirk.
"Yes well she's going back to her castle so she's not hard to find and in a month's time we will be raging war," Emma said.
"You've finally thought up a date," Regina asked.
"Yes I did, and we're pretty much fully prepared, I just want to make sure our soldiers are built and ready. I got word that David was able to convince a couple kingdoms to side with him and snow so their forces will probably be equal in size with ours. With that knowledge we need to be on top of everything, nothing should be able to beat us." Emma said, making Regina's eyes widen.
"It sounds like this plan of yours was very calculated, but you are not a perfectionist." Regina said with a smirk.
"Well I'm not with everyday activities, but with combat I guess I can be a bit of a perfectionist," Emma said, pulling Regina into a kiss. Purple and red smoke surrounded them making them appear in the dining room filled with their family.
"Get a room!" Ruby yelled.
"Oh shut it wolfie." Emma said, pulling away from Regina.
"I keep telling you to stop calling me that," Ruby grumbled pouting.
"Is everything under control?" Maleficent asked, looking at the king and the queen.
"We'll discuss everything later, right now let's all finish eating and enjoy our morning," Emma said, leading Regina to her chair then sitting down next to her.
Snow and Blue appeared in front of David who was looking at the ground coverage of the kingdom on the map.
"Snow?Blue?" David said.
"Yes I got her your welcome," Blue said, pulling away from Snow."
"David, I missed you," Snow said.
"Did they catch you?" David asked, ignoring Snow's words.
"Yes they did and well we're in for one hell of a fight," Blue said.
"How did you even get her out? I thought you said Emma used magic to trap her?" David asked.
"She did so I stole the Black fairy's wand and used it to break her free, but before we could leave Regina got the wand and before she could do anything with it I poofed us here. No doubt about it they know we're here the question is will they come and get Snow or simply leave her. Either way, it works in their favor, we have no upper hand on them." Blue said, getting frustrated.
"And who's fault is that," David said, not even having to look at Snow.
"Look David, I said sorry. How many times do I have to say it," Snow said.
"None because your empty apologies aren't going to fix this mess, Snow. Remember this war you started and thousands of men are putting their lives on the line because you couldn't admit where you were wrong and just listen." David growled.
"But since you're here now that's one thing less I have to worry about so go get cleaned up and I'll see you at dinner," David said walking out the room.
Emma and Regina were calmly lying in their bed with a sleeping Sam. The two needed to unwind after dealing with Snow. Emma was a little disappointed that she didn't get more time to inflict the utmost pain on Snow that she could. Even though Emma was torturing Snow she still feels that Snow still got off scot-free. In all honesty, even when Emma takes over the Light Kingdom and has Snow graveling at her feet.
Emma still feels that she still wouldn't be satisfied. Emma's desire for taking down Snow doesn't feel like it's for the people that Snow has hurt. Now the desire feels like an obsession, a dark obsession that is eating Emma alive. An obsession that she can not make go away. An obsession that can never be fulfilled. This is Emma's true curse.
"Are you ok?" Regina asked.
"I'm fine just in my head that's all," Emma assures her fiancée.
"Well, we have another asset in the war," Regina says as she palms the wand in her hand. "That's if she complies with us."
"She doesn't have a choice and we'll make sure that she knows that. It's either join us or face the consequences." Emma smirked.
Emma and Regina got off the bed and took a deep breath. "Dark Fairy, I command you to appear in front of us." They said in unison. A cloud of black smoke appeared and the Dark Fairy was in front of them.
"I see the thief of my wand has come to return it." The dark fairy snapped as she tried to take her wand. Regina quickly pulled the wand back.
"If you ever try to take something from me I'll cut off your hands before you can." Regina snarled.
"What do you want?" Said the fairy.
"We want you to align with us in the war to take over the entire realm. And yes that includes the Light Kingdom." Said Emma.
"And why would I ally with thieves." The Dark Fairy spit.
"Because we aren't the ones who stole the wand, it was Snow," Emma said, getting impatient.
"Aww cleaning up after your mother I see." The fairy smirked.
Emma's eyes lit up with fury behind them. "Listen, I'm going to give you one chance. You either join Regina and me or I'll personally destroy you myself." Emma growled.
The fairy looked over at a sleeping Sam. "Oh, you'll destroy me huh? Are you going to do that before or after I slit the little boy's throat." She smirked.
"I'll end you before you even get a chance to lay a finger on my son!" Emma yelled as she was choking the fairy. "So I'm going to ask you one more time. Are you in or out?" Tightening her grip on the fairy's neck.
"In." The fairy gasped out as she was trying to get air.
Emma let go of her and gave the fairy an evil smirk. "Good now run along now and we'll fetch you when we need you.
"Can I at least have my wand back?" The fairy asked.
"I think we'll keep it as insurance." Regina chuckled. The Dark Fairy teleported away full of anger and embarrassment. "That went, don't you think?" Regina asked
Emma looked at their sleeping son who's life was just threatened. "No, I don't think it did," Emma said, making the wand disappear from her fiancé's hand.
"She threatened his life, she isn't trustworthy to even be on the grounds of our castle," Regina murmured.
"She will only be told plans she's involved in just to be safe," Emma says. Regina sighed in exhaustion letting her head rest on Emma's chest. "Are the littlest ones tiring you out?" Emma asked, already knowing the answer.
"Yes, and my feet and back hurt," Regina groaned, tightening her grip on Emma's shirt as a sharp pain shot through her back.
Emma frowned "why didn't you say anything earlier Regina you're overworking yourself." Emma said, leading Regina to the bed.
"I am not, I'm perfectly fine," Regina said, rolling her eyes as she got under the blankets and let their son cuddle into her stomach.
"Well one that doesn't speak the truth is hiding something, and you my love are hiding something," Emma said flatly as she got into bed behind the queen.
"Never," Regina mumbled. Emma rolled her eyes and placed her hands on Regina's lower back massaging the tense muscles.
"God that feels absolutely heavenly," Regina groaned, her back arching at Emma's touch.
"If only Sam wasn't in here god I would let you have it but maybe another night hmm?" Emma whispered in Regina's ear drawing a chuckle from the queen.
"Another day indeed, I think we need to be very
precipitant of that fairy I feel like one wrong move and she would take advantage and I don't think we could handle that. But that shouldn't happen since we are very perceptive and very particular about how things are handled." Regina said, making Emma smile. Regina's mind always worked a mile ahead of them and Emma loved that about Regina because at times Regina was very oblivious to it.
"Shhhhh... no more thinking rest." Emma whispered, moving her hands up, continuing to massage the tanned muscles.
"God yes right there Emma." Regina groaned her
Eyes falling closed as she tried to stay awake.
"Rest Regina," Emma whispers when she sees Regina trying to fight off the fatigue.
"Ok," Regina murmured, no longer putting up a fight. Emma felt her whole body relax and heard her breathing evening out. Emma sighed glad that Regina finally allowed herself to sleep. Emma got up and kissed Sam and Regina on their temples before leaving the room. She made her way to the library where the rest of the family tended to hang out before they went off to bed.
"Gina and Sam asleep?" Ruby asked.
"Yes, Is everyone here to discuss the plan?" Emma asked, sitting down on the couch and putting her feet up on the table.
"I am," Belle said, coming out from the large towers of books and sitting next to Ruby. Then the doors opened and the last members of the family walked through the door, Mal, Mulan, and Granny.
Granny sat down and then hit Emma upside her head. Emma immediately took her feet off the table knowing that was the reason why Granny hit her.
"That girl needs to be on bed rest she's almost seven months. She doesn't need to be trying to fight in a war." Granny said.
"Well we all know Regina would think the complete opposite, " Mal said with a smirk.
"We were able to get the black fairy." Emma said dryly.
"Well, shouldn't that be a good thing considering she's a powerful dark fairy who surprisingly doesn't want to kill us." Belle said.
"It would have been a wonderful thing if she didn't threaten to slit Sam's throat, " Emma growled.
"She did what, " ruby growled, her eyes glowing just at the thought.
"Yes, so she is untrustworthy, meaning she is still of significant importance but she is not on friendly terms with us so if she is here I want everyone to be on high alert and watch her every move." Emma said.
"What if the day she came we sent Regina and Sam out into the village long enough for us to give the fairy the rundown of what's going to happen?" Mulan asked.
"That isn't a bad idea, " Granny mumbled. "Considering Regina is a month or two away from giving birth she would be out of harm's way. I believe that the fairy would take any chance she's got to hurt one of us and well she would probably go for you two first if she had the chance, Sam too." Belle explained.
"What-What do you mean by a month or two!" Emma yelled panic setting into her body.
"Regina is having twins. Usually when women have twins they often end up giving birth around the seventh to eight month but she could get lucky and end up going the full nine it's just very unlikely to happen." Tink explained. Emma nodded taking in all the information.
"I wish I'd known this before I set my date but what's done is done." Emma mumbled.
"You set the date? When is it happening?" Ruby asked, leaning forward in anticipation.
"Three weeks time." Emma said standing up.
Regina's Dream/ Vision
Regina sat in the cold dark cell. "I'm here again?" Regina whispered. "Why am I here again? I know what's going to happen already." Regina groaned, getting up off the damp floor.
"You're finally awake," Blue said walking through the dungeon door with a large bulky man and a couple guards following behind her.
"What's going on, this didn't happen last time." Regina whispered to herself confused.
"Well it doesn't matter what happened, what matters is your cooperation," the fairy said with a smug look. "Now tell us you and Emma's plan," Blue said.
Regina laughed, "And if I fail to cooperate?" Regina asked with a smirk.
"Then I'll make sure to break you from the inside and out." The fairy said. Regina stared into the fairies eyes and then looked at the guards standing behind her then her eyes landed on the tall bulky man who was staring at her hungrily. It all clicked into place.
"You wouldn't fucking Dare!" Regina screamed fear striking in her belly.
"All you have to do is tell us the plan Regina," Blue said, surprised Regina figured it out so quickly.
"No I would never, especially not to the likes of you." Regina spat.
"Then I guess I'm done here," Using her magic to unlock the cell. Regina Looked down at the black cuff preventing her from using her magic and sighed. As soon as the doors opened she made a run for it but was snatched back by her hair causing her to cry out. Regina has good hand to hand combat skills so she decided right now at this moment it was time to use them. Whipping around she threw a punch to the guards and grabbed his sword stabbing him in the chest. There were still three guards left circling her and the large man who didn't even make an effort to attack her, he was just sitting there watching her with a smirk on his face.
"All of you out, she's mine." The large man bellowed.
"I don't belong to any of you bastards!" Regina yelled as the guards scurried their way out of the dungeon Blue following behind them. Once everyone left the man made his way towards Regina, his heavy footsteps echoing throughout the dungeon. "Don't touch me, I will kill you." Regina growled, getting in a fighting stance.
"Oh how I love breaking strong girls like you," he whispered, grabbing the sword and yanking it from Regina's strong grip. Without so much as a glance he threw the sword aside and pinned the fighting queen against the wall.
"Such a beautiful creature, too bad I have to ruin such a thing." He said, ripping Regina's dress with one hand.
"No! Get the hell away from me you son of a bitch. I'll kill you, I'll kill every last one of you!" Regina screamed. Regina was trying to break her hands free but that only made him tighten his grip making her bones pop. Regina gritted her teeth at the pain. She could hear him unbuckling his pants, she couldn't go through this again no she wouldn't. She started kicking and thrashing doing anything she could.
"It's a bit too late for that love,'' he whispered before thrusting in her.
Regina shot up in bed letting out a scream before slapping her hand to her mouth. Her body shook as sweat covered her body. Regina looked down to see Sam still fast asleep. Regina felt a bile rise in her throat and rushed to the bathroom releasing the contents in the wash bucket. Her body shook in pain and fear. The vision had changed, we changed the future but how Regina thought leaning her body against the wall. It had to be because they're working with the black fairy.
Regina got up off the floor once her stomach settled her legs wobbling a bit, then she realized Emma wasn't there. "Mommy are you ok?" Sam asked, sitting up in the bed.
"Of course sweetheart, mommy is fine. Did I wake you baby?" Regina asked getting back into the bed.
"No." He said laying his head on his mother's belly before falling back into a deep sleep. Regina sighed, combing her fingers through Sam's hair.
"So that's the plan?" Ruby asked.
"Yeah." Emma said freezing, a feeling of fear coiled in her stomach. What the hell is that?, Emma thought as the feeling got stronger.
"Girl, are you Ok? You're pale" Granny said.
"I-yeah I'll be back alright I need to go check on Regina and Sam." Emma mumbled disappearing in a cloud of red smoke.
Emma appeared back in her and Regina's room finding Regina wide awake leaning against the headboard with Sam laying on her stomach. Regina had to have a nightmare or a vision. The empty look in her eyes didn't sit well with her.
"Hey what did you see?" Emma asked, sitting beside Regina on the bed.
"It changed, Emma it was no longer you." Regina whispered.
I was no longer in the vision, but what did that mean? Emma thought. "What did you see, baby?" Emma asked softly.
"I was still there in the dungeon but instead of you coming down like my other vision the bug came instead with four guards and this man he was.. very tall and strong. She told me I had a choice to tell her our plans or she would break me." Regina said, taking a deep breath as tears gathered in her eyes. "Then I realized why she had the guards there, and I told her that she wouldn't do it. But she said she wouldn't as long as I told her our plans but I refused and she opened the door to my cell and I couldn't use my magic I had on a cuff so I made a run for it. Then a guard grabbed me by my hair and I punched him, grabbed his sword and killed him leaving three guards and the large man. They circled around me but before they did anything he told them all to leave and they all did without a word including blue.
He cornered me and took my sword and he ripped off my dress." Regina said her body was shaking.
"Regina did he.."
"I woke up right when he was about to." Regina whispered tears streaming down her face. "Emma I-I can't." Regina whimpered.
"I know I won't let it happen, you understand me I won't let anyone hurt you." Emma whispered as she held Regina while she cried.
Regina didn't fall back asleep and she was exhausted. She's been laying in Emma's arms since she came back to wherever she went, Emma fell asleep and Regina just let her get some rest knowing she needed it. Regina laid there until she felt Emma shifting. "Morning." Emma whispered knowing Regina was wide awake.
"Morning," Regina whispered, turning and burying her head in Emma's chest, making Emma sigh in worry.
"How long have you been up?" Emma asked, resting her hand on Regina's protruding belly.
"A while, but i'll be ok." Regina mumbled drawing invisible patterns on Emma's chest to avoid looking into the striking green eyes.
"Don't lie to me Regina," Emma said. Her voice was deep and husky from sleep.
"I'm sorry." Regina whispered immediately, feeling guilty.
"Hey, don't be sorry alright just stop pushing me away ok, we're in this together remember." Emma said with a small smile intertwining their hands.
"Ok," Regina said, giving Emma's hand a squeeze.
"Well since it's still early, how about we blow some time taking a nice bath in the spring?" Emma asked.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea." Regina said, sitting up.
"Then c'mon." Emma said, pulling Regina out of the bed and dragging her quietly out of the room, being mindful of their still sleeping son. When they entered the spring Emma locked the door and put a silencing spell over the large room.
"Mmm you're so sexy.." Emma smirked as she watched Regina undress.
"Always and forever?" Regina asked with a playful smile stepping into the water.
"Always and forever," Emma repeated, stepping out of her clothes and into the hot water.
"Mmm," Regina smiled, gravitating towards her king. "Tell me how you do it?" Regina asked Emma, letting Emma pull her to her chest.
"Do what?" Emma asked, stroking Regina's hair refraining from asking about last night.
"Even when I'm feeling disgusting or scared you still manage to bring a smile to my face no matter the situation, I want you to know I do appreciate that. It means a lot to me and I love you." Regina said a flush of embarrassment rising in her cheeks, not really used to expressing her intimate feelings aloud. Emma grinned with happiness flooding through her body at her lover's words.
"It's my job, your mine, mine, mine. And that comes with responsibility, like showering you with kisses in the morning, making sure all your needs are fulfilled and I willingly signed up and I plan to keep this position occupied." Emma said, bringing tears to Regina's eyes, Damn hormones.
Regina pressed they're lips together, her fingers raking through the growing blonde locks. Emma thrusted her tongue in Regina's mouth, getting a warm welcome. Regina moaned, her desire growing by the second. Emma crept her fingers down and pinched and pulled at Regina's bundle of nerves making the queen throw her head back in immense pleasure.
"Emma don't tease just fuck me alright." Regina panted straddling Emma's lap aligning herself with Emma's large phallus.
Emma smirked, sliding her hands up and down Regina's body, keeping her hovering above her dick knowing it was driving the queen mad. "Can you take me Regina?" Emma asked, caressing Regina's large swollen stomach.
"Dammit Emma!" Regina yelled in anticipation.
"Answer me!" Emma demanded keeping Regina firmly in place.
"Yes! I can take it!" Regina cried, her body shaking with need. Hearing the queen's words Emma thrusted into Regina with no warning. On occasion she would bite and suck Regina's pulse point making Regina writhe.
"It seems my queen is very high strung this fine morning…" Emma whispered in the shell of Regina's ear making the queen purr in pleasure as she rolled her hips meeting Emma halfway.
Pursuing her objective Emma used her sinful lips and wrapped them around the sensitive nubs of Regina's breast getting a whimper of sorts from the grinding queen above her.
"Emma.." Regina whimpered as her magic filled the air uncontrollably. Emma groaned feeling her magic immediately rise at the sudden outburst. They're magic fighting one another trying to dominate the other in a ruthless battle of love and passion.
"Fuck Regina." Emma growled her eyes glowing a bright green.
"Emma!" Regina cried as Emma repeatedly hit her g-spot, her eyes glowing a lilac purple as her body quaked from the amount of pleasure she was receiving. Their movements became more and more sloppy as they both neared their climax.
"Em..fuck-I-I can't, harder please" Regina moaned her voice raspy from yelling her hips jerking trying to desperately reach that high. Emma thrusted her hips harder and faster bringing Regina's nipple to her lips once more making the queen cry out. Regina gave up trying to meet Emma the beast was out and there was no taming it when she was like this but Regina didn't care she loved it when Emma's monster came out to play. Emma growled releasing the nipple and latched onto Regina's pulse point sending the queen over the edge with an ear shattering scream Emma came right behind her moaning her lover's name repeatedly. Emma continued to thrust making the queen cum once again in less than a minute, their magic combusted around them making them both sigh out at the feeling of being fully relaxed.
Regina's body went limp on top of Emma's exhaustion completely taking over the pregnant brunette. "How about we head back to bed?" Emma said getting up with her queen securely in her arms Emma only got a soft nod in response. With a flick of her wrist Emma changed into a new pair of comfortable clothes then poofed them back in the bed with their still sleeping son who managed to get on Emma's side of the bed.
Emma watched Regina immediately pull Sam to her chest before quickly falling into a deep sleep. Emma smiled at the scene, Emma sighed and spooned her love before falling asleep herself.
"Breakfast is ready!" Granny yelled outside the door making Emma groan tiredly while Regina turned and buried her face in her chest obviously not wanting to get up.
"I reckon you got a good two hours of rest." Emma mumbled.
'Mmhmm." Regina hummed quickly, falling back asleep. Emma looked over her shoulder to see their son wide awake and staring right back at her.
"Morning kid," Emma said.
"Morning daddy, are we going to eat breakfast?" Sam asked, sitting fully and laying across his pregnant mother.
"Sam…" Regina groaned in Emma's chest making Emma laugh.
"He isn't wrong, I'm starving." Emma said.
"You two are always hungry, you guys could eat for hours and still have enough room for dinner." Regina said sitting up, rubbing her hand down her face.
"Look, it isn't our fault." Sam said, making Regina laugh.
Emma, Regina and Sam made it downstairs, they walked into the dining room to see everyone waiting at the table looking like they were about to die of boredom. "You guys couldn't get up any earlier Granny is starving us for you guys sake." Ruby whined.
"Also if you decide to have sex in the hot spring try to control your magic it had me very... hyper this morning and well the energy boost was a bit of a surprise." Mal said, looking at the two with a look of mischief.
"Yeah you two had my wolf going mad crazy, I dont know what the hell your magic is made out of but its like a fucking drug it's almost addicting." Ruby says.
Regina turned to Emma with a quizzical look, "I didn't know the feeling of our magic had that impression on others. I thought it was just us who could feel it." Regina remarked sitting down in her chair going over her recent magic outburst which always seemed to happen during sex, which made sense because that was when she was most vulnerable and crazed or wasnt thinking straight.
"Well I guess this is added to the list of things we need to figure out," Emma said with a bored look. Regina's eyes widened when an idea popped in her head.
"What?" Ruby says.
"I would like to try something later, would you be willing to be.. My test subject?" Regina asked.
"Regina…" Granny said in a warning tone.
"It won't kill her well, it shouldn't." Regina said looking to her mother who shook her head clearly disagreeing with the idea of her using her sister as a test subject.
"Fine," Regina sighed and looked at Mal. "What about you?" Regina asked with a grin knowing full well that the dragon would be excited about some danger.
"C'mon Regina you already know the answer to that." Mal said with a smirk as Regina laughed.
"Then it's settled, after breakfast then meet me in my garden." Regina said as she started grabbing food and putting it on her plate without a single care in the world.
"I wanna get married tomorrow." Emma said. Getting everyone's attention.
"What's the rush Em?" Graham asked with a mouthful of food making Regina inwardly cringe at the sight.
But before Emma could answer Regina spoke up first, "Ok." Regina said, simply making everyone gawk at her.
"How would that even work? You want this to all be set up in one day," Mulan said.
"Well Belle could be the marriage officiant, Sam could be the ring carrier, Tinkerbelle the flower girl, Mal could be on decor and Ruby could be my best woman Granny could walk me and Emma down the aisle and Mulan and Graham can be Emma's best men." Regina explained as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
"It's simple knowledge really," Regina said with a shrug of her shoulders.
"That shit is nowhere near simple!" Ruby screeched, earning a death glare from Granny for cursing at the table.
"Well sounds like I got some reading to do," Belle said with a giddy expression while Ruby stared at her longingly. Regina smiled when she caught Ruby staring.
"Alright, enough work at the table, let's eat," Granny said.
"I already started," Sam pouted, refraining from taking another bite out of his half eaten pancakes. Everyone laughed at his cuteness before they all dug in.
"It's alright sweetheart," Regina said, kissing him on his forehead making the four year old grin happily at his mother.
"You and I both know if we burst through there they would be ready to kill us," Cora said rolling her eyes at Rumple for his stupidity.
"They have every right too but at this point that's the only choice we have and maybe if we get lucky she'll actually listen to us." Rumple said. Cora sat silently for a few moments before speaking again.
"Fine." she huffed impatiently.
Regina felt completely stuffed. She ate about two plates of Grannies apple pancakes then fruit plus a piece of pie. She can't remember a time when she was this happy. This macontent made her heart feel full of love for those around her. She watched and listened as everyone talked and chatted about random topics sometimes randomly changing the subject. When she wasn't conversating she was quietly observing, something she developed as a child growing up with Cora.
"What are you thinking about?" Emma asked as Regina laid her head on Emma's shoulder.
"Nothing important," Regina smiles softly.
"I should get on with my day, we do have a lot to get finished today," Regina standing.
"Alright I can't have Sam. I'm going to be using my magic and I don't want him getting hurt," Regina said looking at Emma.
"Alright kid, I guess you're going to be stuck with me for a while." Emma said, ruffling her hand through his hair.
"But I want to go with mommy." He whined.
" I'll try to be as quick as possible alright and when I get done I'll come find you and we can make apple pies with Granny," Regina said her eyes sparkling at the thought of the delicious treat.
"OK mommy." He said running to his father's side bouncing with excitement.
Regina disappeared and reappeared in her garden dressed and a thick warm cloak covering her from the cold.
"Let's hurry this up shall we know how much I hate the cold." Mal said getting up off the bench.
"ok ," Regina breathed seeing her breath freezing in the winter cold. She closed her eyes and released her magic around her, she took a deep breath and opened her eyes. Spin around three times then kneel. Regina thought her magic running wildly around her. Regina was shocked that her prediction was right. She watched Mal spin around three times eyes wide in confusion and then kneel before her.
"I was right." Regina said.
"What the hell Regina, can you release your hold on me please?" Mal asked, her eyes glowing a dark green.
"Is my magic having-"
"Make it stop Dammit Regina." Mal growled. Regina sighed and reigned in her magic. Mal pretty much collapsed in the snow.
"What did it feel like?" Regina asked, walking over to the dragon and helping her to her feet.
"It felt like you were trying to take over my body and had no control of what I was doing. It was like I was there but wasn't at the same time." Mal explained looking at the queen.
"This could be used to our advantage," Regina murmured to herself.
"You want to use it for the war?" Mal asked.
"If I could practice using it on a large group of people it would be a definite win no matter, but my energy would be drained after a certain amount of time no doubt depending on how I divide my magic to control the enemy." Regina explained. "But we got word saying that David was able to get three kingdoms to align with him meaning our forces could be the same amount, and that would be around three to four thousand. If anything I would probably be able to control a thousand max." Regina said pacing back and forth in the Snow.
"Well I guess we better get to work," Mal said.
"Yes, and thank you." Regina said turning to the blonde.
"Your welcome now can we get out of this cold." Mal said.
"Yeah I need to talk to Emma anyway." Regina said, poofing them back into the castle.
Regina walked to her bed chambers to see Emma being measured by a seamstress. "Well what do we have here." Regina said walking in with a knowing smile.
"You just missed Sam getting his measurements but they might be a bit off considering he wouldn't stop moving." Emma said, making Regina laugh.
"I'm not surprised he is always so full of energy, but that also must mean your feeling better." Regina said, looking at their son.
"Yup my tummy is all better," He said with a grin. Emma was about to say something when she felt her magic spark, she looked to Regina who also felt it.
"The barrier, someone trying to get in." Regina said walking out the room.
"Do you know who it is?" Mal asked, meeting her halfway in the hallway.
"No but whoever it is has magic." Regina said as Emma caught up to them fully dressed. Emma poofed them outside to the side of the barrier that was disturbed to find Cora and Rumplestilskin waiting patiently.
"You've got to be kidding me," Regina growled.
"What are they working together now?" Emma asked.
"How the hell am I supposed to know. I haven't talked to either of them in months." Regina said, crossing her arms and glaring at Emma. "They must want something, especially if they came together." Regina said glaring at them.
"Well do we want to find out?" Emma asked looking down at the queen. Regina pinched the bridge of her nose in irritation.
"Fine," The queen said stubbornly as Emma grabbed her hand and guided them to the border.
"What do you want?" Emma said calmly looking at Cora then to Rumple.
"We need to talk and I think you especially would want to know the information we've been able to gather." Cora said looking at Emma with nothing but confidence. Regina quirked her perfectly sculpted brow before Emma engulfed them in a cloud of red smoke making them appear in the war room.
"So what do you need to discuss?" Emma asked across the table while Cora and Rumple stood across the table from them.
"Your mother and father." Rumple said with a smirk knowing Emma no longer claimed them as such. Emma growled pushing down the urge to jump across the table and snap his neck.
"What about them?" Regina said taking over.
"Their weaponry for the war," Cora said.
"Do we have to play a hundred questions or are you two just gonna tell us what you came here to tell us," Emma said regaining her control.
With a sigh Cora began to explain what she found out. "They are going to use mermaids ink and me and Rumple think it would be better if Regina sat out during the fight." Cora said looking at her daughter who was fuming at what she heard.
"Absolutely not!" Regina yelled.
"The mermaids ink shouldn't be able to affect her were fucking immortal!" Emma yelled.
"That shouldnt matter she looks like she's going to be in labor any second she needs to be relaxing or laying down!" Cora countered.
"She's right dearie you wouldn't want to put stress on the queen now would you?" Rumple said calmly.
"Oh save it rumple like you actually give a shit about her!" Emma says shaking with anger.
"How the hell would you know she's our child, she belongs with us. Now she maybe immortal but that child isn't!" Cora yelled making the queen snap.
"Would you all shut up for five seconds!" Regina yelled her magic surrounding them, making them close their mouths without a chance to protest. "Your children! our son acts more mature than this!" Regina yelled glaring at Emma then shifting her glare to Cora and Rumple. Regina rubbed her temples as she felt a headache on its way. So much for a relaxing day.
"Now we're going to discuss this like the mature adults we are." Regina said letting go of the hold she had on the people around her. There was a long heavy silence before Emma broke it with a question.
"You said the ink would affect the children, how?" Emma asked, looking at Cora.
"Our children have magic no doubt about it, but they are using my magic to support theirs, so if the ink would block them from using their magic then it would no doubt block mine." Regina explained as she began pacing her heels, clicking repeatedly against the stone floor.
"It could also physically hurt you and possibly kill your children if they were to get in contact with it." Rumple stated looking at his daughter.
"And how's that?" Emma asked as Regina froze to listen to his explanation.
"The Dark One, me has a sensitivity to mermaids ink and well a certain amount can have me rolling around on this ground in severe pain begging to be sent to my death bed. Now Regina being my daughter she no doubt has inherited my sensitivity but with her being pregnant the children would doubt die and with no magic to lessen the effect would be even worse on Regina's part." Rumple explained.
"They're going to be dousing their swords and arrows in it." Cora added.
"Well I have a lot of practice to do, we need to go Emma I need our army here well just about a thousand, I'm sure you two know how to see yourselves out." Regina said.
"Wait Regina we need to talk about this." Emma said, grabbing Regina's hand.
"Regina let me help you in the war?" Cora pleaded.
"And why in hell would I do that?" Regina asked, glaring at her mother.
"Because I've returned my heart and I would like to repair my relationship with you." Cora explained her voice softening. Emma felt Regina tense; she could also see how conflicted Regina was on the idea of letting her mother in.
"Regina." Emma sighed, "Go ahead," Emma whispered knowing how much Regina wanted her mother's love when she was younger and she wasn't going to allow Regina to pass up her second chance. Regina looked at her straight in the eyes Emma could see the fear flicker
"You know you want to." Emma said softly, making Regina sigh.
"Ok," Regina said, turning back to her mother. "You can attend our wedding tomorrow but you would be a guest and you will not be participating in the ceremony," Regina said, squaring her shoulders. Cora gave a curt nod getting what she could get, she knew she just couldn't earn Regina's trust so easily she would have to work for it, but it did hurt that she wouldn't be walking her daughter down the aisle and she had a feeling Eugenia would be doing that. But it's her own fault she can't blame anyone but herself.
"There's a spare room if you would like to stay since the ceremony is tomorrow." Emma said. Regina's eyes widened in surprise. She wasn't going to ask her mother too and she definitely didn't expect Emma to walked back into their bed and sat down. "I wasn't expecting you to offer Cora to stay." Said Regina.
"I wasn't either, it just kind of came out. You know what they say: keep your friends close and your enemies closer." Emma said nonchalantly. Emma was feeling a little down but she didn't have the courage to tell Regina yet.
"Are you ok my love?" Regina asked. She knows something was wrong with Emma by the way she sounded. Regina was confused because she couldn't think of a possible reason.
"No, I'm not ok. I just need a minute to myself. When I get back I'll tell you. I promise ok." Emma said getting up, giving Regina and Sam a kiss.
"Where are you going daddy?" Sam asked.
"I'm gonna go for a little bit, I'll be back." Said Emma.
"I wanna go with you," Sam said, running into Emma's legs.
"No little man you have to stay with mommy." She said kneeling to his level.
"Why?" He asked with his puppy dog eyes.
"Because daddy has to do some grown-up things right now. Plus don't you want to go and make apple pies with mommy and Granny?" She asked.
"Yes," Sam said looking down.
"Well, you can't do that when you're with me," Emma explained to Sam.
"Ok, are you going to come back?" Sam asked with his lip quivering.
"Of course Sam I'll always come back," Emma said, giving him a hug. Emma put on her coat and went to the stales to ride her horse. She went a few miles away from the castle to the lake that's her quiet place. The lake was frozen over and covered with snow but it was still beautiful to look at.
Emma was sitting on a tree stump when she felt a hand on her shoulder. "What's on your mind sis?" Graham asked.
"I'm having some inner conflict with myself," Emma said blankly.
"About what?" He asked.
"A small part of me wishes that our parents could be at the wedding. Not Snow and David well at least not Snow. I know deep down David is different. He's just been with Snow for so long that now he's weak." She explained.
"I know the feeling as a child, you always want your parent's support." He said sitting down next to you.
"Sometimes I wish David was by my side telling me how happy he is that Regina and I are together. At the end of the day, all I've ever wanted was my dad to be proud of me or at least be there for me." Emma said sorrowfully.
"Don't we all don't we all." Said, Graham putting his arm around Emma. The two sat there until it became dark and hit below freezing. "Go talk to your wife. I'm sure she's a little worried about you."
"Yeah I know, I'll see you tomorrow," Emma said as she got back on her horse.
"I wouldn't miss my sister's wedding for the world." He smiled. Emma rode away and got back to the castle. She could see Sam sitting on the balcony waiting for her return. Emma went up to her bedroom and was met with her son hugging her legs. "Daddy your back!" Sam cheered.
"I told you I'll always come back home to you. Now how come you're still up I'm pretty sure it's past your bedtime." She smiled.
"He wouldn't go to sleep until you got back." Regina smiled.
"Well, I'm back now so it's time for you to go to bed little man," Emma said, giving Sam a kiss.
"Ok goodnight mommy and daddy," Sam said walking to his room. Emma closes the bedroom door and walks straight to the bed. She stripped down to her long johns and got into the warm covers. Regina got in a cuddle with her fiancé . "Do you want to talk about what was bothering you?" Asked Regina."
"I just wish I had parents that I could make proud. Parents I could show my wife and kids off to. That would say 'good job Emma you're doing great kid' but I don't. Just wish things were different sometimes, you know?" Emma asked, turning to her fiance.
"Yeah I wish the same thing too but sadly we can't change our parents. All we can do is be the best that we can be to our kids. Control what we have control over and that's ourselves." Regina explained stroking Emma's cheek.
"You always know what to say." Said Emma.
"So do you, my love." Regina smiled
"I love you so much," Emma said, kissing Regina.
"I love you too my love now let's go to sleep we have a wedding tomorrow," Regina said closing her eyes. Emma closed her eyes and drifted away into a deep sleep. Thinking about how Regina was going to be her wife forever.
The next day
Emma was the first one to wake up beside the servants. She went down to the kitchen to steal some wine and a croissant then went to the balcony. It was snowing outside covering the whole courtyard. Emma's mind was captured by the mesmerizing white snow. "Emma what are you doing out here? It's freezing. I'm surprised your wine isn't frozen." Regina shivered as she walked onto the balcony.
"But it's so beautiful outside I couldn't help it," Emma said, sounding like their son.
"Come inside before you freeze to death." Regina groaned. Emma reluctantly went back inside per her lover's wishes. The two got back in bed, cuddling each other. Emma looked down to see her fiancée taking a bite out of her croissant.
"Hey get your own!" Said Emma faking being mad.
"I don't have my own so I'm stealing yours." Regina smirked.
"Thief." Emma pouted.
"You were a thief first." Regina laughed.
"How?" Emma asked, cocking her eyebrow.
"You stole it from the kitchen and you stole something else." Said Regina.
"What else did I steal?" Emma asked, crossing her arms.
"My heart." Regina smiled.
"That was so corny." Emma laughed. "But you also stole mine."
The two talked about the wedding. Regina already laid down the rules for Emma. After breakfast they wouldn't see each other until the ceremony. Regina wanted to go a little tradition, she thought it would be nice. Emma on the other hand didn't want to be apart from Regina until the ceremony. She wanted to be the first person to see Regina in her dress. Emma didn't argue it wasn't just her day it was Regina's too so she accepted Regina's request.
The servants called everyone down for breakfast. Emma went and woke up Sam while Regina went ahead to the dining room. Everyone was excited about the wedding. Belle was happy that she got everything ready in time. Emma and Regina didn't want anything too extravagant but Belle put a little pizzazz on her ideas for the wedding decorations. "I can't wait to see your dress Regina," Belle said excitedly.
"It's nothing fancy. I wanted something nice and simple," Regina said, trying to calm Belle down but she was still bouncing with excitement.
"Mommy," Sam said tapping Regina.
"Yes, baby." Said Regina turning to her son.
"What's sex?" He asked, taking a bite of his pancake."
Regina's eyes went wide and so did Emma's. The rest of the table went quiet, trying to hold in their laughs. "Why are you asking Sam?" Regina asked him.
"Aunt Mal always talks about it." He said innocently.
"Aunt Mal huh." Said Regina giving Mal a death glare.
"Yeah is it something you and daddy do?" He asked.
"Umm well, when two people love each other they do that. It's not just me and daddy that do it." She tries to explain it to him.
"What about when daddy pounds you out?" He asked. His comment breaks everybody. Belle and Ruby spit out their juice and started dying with laughter. "Aunt Mal says you and daddy do that too."
"Mal what the hell are you saying around my son!" Regina yelled.
"What I say around everyone," Mal said, trying to defend herself.
Regina mentally groaned at the whole situation. Emma was still trying to hold back her laugh. Emma knew she was going to have to get on Mal about what she says around Sam.
Everyone was done with their breakfast and went to get ready for the wedding. Emma kissed Regina before going their separate ways. Emma took Sam with her because it would be easier for him to get help in getting dressed. Emma put on her suit slowly looking at herself in the mirror. She couldn't believe that she was getting married to the woman that she loved. Never in a million years did Emma think she was going to be able to get married to someone she loved. She always thought that she would live a life of misery with one of the several suitors her parents would introduce to her. Now she is in a suit getting ready to marry her wife and the mother of her children. "Daddy, can you help me with my shirt?" Sam asked pulling Emma out of her thoughts.
"Sure buddy," Emma said, helping him. Sam finished getting dressed and grabbed his parent's rings. "Are you ready buddy?" Emma asked Sam.
"Yes!" Sam jumped up and down.
"Alright let's go." Emma laughed, taking Sam's hand. They walked to the Great Hall and Emma got onto the altar. 'The time is here, our time is finally here.'
"Ugh, I look fat and horrible!" Regina groans, throwing her brush at her mirror. Regina was nervous about getting on the altar. She knows that it's only going to be there but Regina still had huge butterflies in her stomach. There's a knock on her door, "Come in."
Cora walks in and takes a look at the mirror then at Regina's running makeup. "Regina, what's wrong dear this is your special day?" Cora asked.
"I look horrible."Regina sniffled. She tried to fix her makeup up but just ended up making it worse. "Dammit!" She slams down her hand.
"Hey listen to me you look perfect and you know what my opinion or anyone else doesn't matter. You know why?" She asked cleaning off her daughter's smeared makeup. Then fixing it with magic.
"Why?" Regina asked with tears streaming down her face.
"Because your husband's opinion is the only one that matters. And I know for a fact that she won't think you look horrible or ever will. That girl loves you, Regina." Cora said while she finishes Regina's makeup.
"Thank you mother," Regina said looking down.
"Hey let's get you married to your love," Cora said, lifting Regina's chin.
Cora went through the door first and sat down with everyone else. Everyone was looking for Regina waiting for her to appear. Then it happened she walked through the door granny at her side. A smile spread across everyone's face especially Emma. Regina walked down the aisle in her smooth marshmallow white dress with a long train. Regina got on the altar and could see the tears rolling down Emma's face. "You look astonishing," Emma said looking at Regina.
"You look amazing my love." Regina smiles. Belle stood in front of them and officiated the wedding.
"You two may say your vows." Said Belle.
"I'll go first." Said Emma. "I swear to be your ever loyal, genuine, and cherishing husband. I pledge to hold your hand in my hand, to hold your head in my hands, and to hold your heart in mine. I will cherish you as my wife for all time. I love you Regina Mills and I always will."
"You're the first person I need to see within the morning and the final at night. I see forward to adoring the littlest minutes, as your eyes whereas you stare at me when I'm doing nothing. Turn a coin into a wellspring and make a wish for us. You're my wish come true." Regina said, trying to hold back her tears.
"Ring barrier can we have the rings please?" Belle asked looking at Sam. Sam skipped to Emma and gave her the rings.
"Thanks, buddy," Emma said, taking the ring off the little pillow. Emma took Regina's hand and slipped the ring onto her finger.
"You hereby declare you Emma Swan and Regina Mills husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Said Belle.
Emma looked deep into Regina's eyes staring into her chocolate brown orbs. She leans in and their lips connect and sparks fly. It was like the first time they kissed. They were now married to each other and a realm almost in their grasps. Nothing can get in their way now because they're united. Now they are one and will always be one.
"I love you Regina Swan-Mills." Emma smiles.
"And I love you Emma Swan-Mills."
Regina was grinning ear to ear while they're family cheered from the chairs. "Let's have a little family ball." Emma said facing their family, her arm resting on Regina's waist.
"Yeah can we mommy I can show daddy my dance moves grandma taught me." Sam said bouncing around his parents excitedly.
Regina looked to her mother with soft eyes, Regina was happy her mother was actually trying to change to be different after all these years and
Deep down inside it meant the world to Regina and Emma could see it as clear as day. Regina was happy Cora was here, whether she voiced it or not she was happy her mother got to be apart of her new found happiness.
"Why not," Regina said while Mal slipped out the room to quickly prepare the Musicians. Everyone made their way to the ballroom to see all the musicians sat in a corner waiting for further instructions while Sam and Regina went over to the tables filled with foods and sweets.
"Hey you two don't forget about the dinner!" Granny yelled, smirking and her daughter.
"Yeah, yeah" Regina murmured, not paying her other mother any attention.
"You finally got her." Ruby said walking and standing next to Emma.
"Actually I always had her, she just wasn't aware of it right away." Emma said, making Ruby laugh.
"Yeah whatever Em, sooo you're definitely hitting that tonight, but all I have to say is watch out for my niece and nephew and put up a damn silencing spell, your wife has vocals." Ruby says, making Emma laugh out loudly.
"Only for me," Emma said laughing again.
"What are you two talking about?" Regina asked before shoving a forkful of velvet cake in her mouth.
"How tonight she going to fuck you senseless and how Sam would probably be scared for life once he realize the actual meaning to his aunty Mal's words." Ruby said with a grin before getting slapped upside her head by her sister.
"I was summoned," Mal said, appearing before them.
"I can't believe you told Sam those things he's too young Mal," Regina said, shaking her head before eating another fork full of cake.
"Whatever, now I'm taking this and leaving with the wolf," Mal said, looking at Emma before grabbing the queen's plate of cake and walking away with the wolf following behind her.
Emma pulled her wife in for a deep passionate kiss drawing a moan from the queen. "Oh get a room!" Ruby yelled across the room earning a pop across the head while everyone else laughed.
Emma and Regina chuckled, the musicians started to play a soft tune and Emma smiled down at Regina.
"Would you care to have this dance with me?" Emma asked, taking Regina's hand and bowed.
"Of course." Regina said with a grin giving a curtsy. Emma placed her hand on Regina's waist then Regina placed her hand on Emma's shoulder as they're fingers interlocked.
They twirled and danced across the floor, their family watching in awe. "So you're my wife now." Emma said as she twirled Regina.
"Yes, and you're my husband now," Regina murmured as she rested her head on Emma's chest.
"We are unstoppable Regina you know that?" Emma asked as they slowly danced across the
Floor.
"Of course." Regina answered simply looking into the green eyes with so much love and care.
Emma leaned in and captured Regina lips in a passionate kiss.
"They can't go 5 minutes without each other," Cora said, approaching Granny.
"Mm..." Granny grunted, not paying the woman any attention. She was pissed that Cora was staying here. She hated the woman with a passion for the things she did to Regina. But Emma told her that they were giving her one more chance; she knew it was Something Regina agreed to and she couldn't blame her. But that didn't mean she had to like it.
"I wanna tell you that I'm glad Regina had you. I know you hate me and you have every right to but I just want to say I'm sorry." Cora said watching Sam run up to Regina and Emma to join them.
"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to, Cora, I'm not the one you hurt, I'm just the one who picked up the pieces you left behind. Now the last person i was expecting an apology from was you, but like I said she's the one the one you need to apologize to." Eugenia said before leaving Cora walking over Ruby and Belle.
Cora let out a sigh of relief that was more stressful than she expected. Ever since she returned her heart it's been heavy with guilt. She didn't know how to really make it up to her daughter so she would just do what she didn't do and that's love and care for her daughter and the people she now calls family.
"Sam.." Regina laughed as she watched their son struggle to do the waltz.
"I give up mommy it's so hard…" Sam whined.
"Don't give up sweetheart, I promise it will get easier." Regina said bending down and holding out her pinky. Sam grinned before taking his mother's pinky in her own.
"Ok mommy, but can I go with aunt Belle and Ruby?" Sam asked.
"Sure baby." Regina said, placing a kiss on his temple before watching him run over to the corner her family stood quietly talking among themselves.
"You and him have a powerful bond almost similar to ours," Emma said, wrapping her arms around the queen's waist from behind.
"That's because he's a momma's boy," Regina laughed.
"Never he's most definitely a daddy's boy." Emma said before peppering Regina with kisses making Regina laugh loudly. "Beautiful," Emma whispered against Regina's ear, making the queen blush deeply.
"Oh stop it." Regina said pushing Emma away playfully trying to hide her embarrassment. Emma laughed at her wife's embarrassment and placed a kiss on her temple.
"Now in about the next ten minutes Mal is going to take everyone to her castle for the night giving us the whole place to ourselves, giving me the opportunity to fuck you against every wall and table in here." Emma whispered sending shivers of pleasure through the brunette's body.
"But what about Sam? What if he needs us?" Regina asked. She hasn't been separated from Sam since he's moved into the castle.
"Granny, Ruby, Belle, Mal even Mulan and Graham they are all there and ready to help if it ever comes to that point but I doubt it, c'mon Regina its our wedding night where we have mind blowing sex as Mal would say." Emma said with a grin.
"I was summoned," Mal appeared in a cloud of smoke on the side of them, not even making the King and Queen flinch in fright.
"Yeah how about we get started on the sleepover i'm becoming a bit impatient." Emma said looking at the blonde.
"Alright." Mal said with a knowing smirk, poofing herself to the little corner they're family were talking in.
Regina watched Sam's face form into an excited grin before he rushed over to them.
"Mommy aunty Mal is having a sleepover at her castle can I really go?" Sam asked, bouncing up and down in front of his parents.
"Yes but you have to be good for aunt Mal ok, can you do that for mommy and daddy?" Regina said, getting a nod and a grin from her son.
"Thank you mommy." Sam said running back to Mal with a flick of the dragons wrist everyone was gone in a cloud of grey smoke leaving the king and queen in silence.
"Well, I have you all to myself, there's no one here to interrupt me now." Emma laughed, making them disappear in a cloud of red smoke and appear in their bedroom.
"Would you shut it and get this dress off of me." Regina growled her eyes darkening with lust.
"Now I would usually use magic but tonight is our wedding night and I want to savor every last second of it." Emma murmured against the crook of Regina's neck as she slowly undid her corset.
"Emma stop teasing." Regina murmured as she felt the heat rise between her legs. Emma laughed out at the idea of her stopping her teasing, it's something she always enjoyed because she knew she could always get Regina hot and bothered no matter the occasion.
"Mm.. I don't think so," Emma whispered as she slowly slipped the dress off of Regina's body.
And not even a second after the dress came off Regina turned around and started to quickly undress her. Emma was pretty amused by how quickly her wife was able to work even with her large bump in the way, but it only further proved Regina wasn't one to let things get in her way no matter how trivial they were.
Regina slammed their lips together eliciting a throaty moan. Emma pulled back and laid Regina on the bed gently making the queen slightly confused as she was always so used to Emma handling her so roughly during times like these.
"It's our wedding night Regina lets take it slow a bit," Emma said with a small smile.
"Ok." Regina said softly, at this point she really didnt care she just needed Emma to fuck her, her head was clouded with sinful thoughts she didn't know how much longer she could hold off.
Emma smirked and slowly inserted herself into the queen beneath her making the brunette cry out. Emma grinned as she seethed herself fully into the queen, Emma paused giving Regina a minute to adjust as soon as Regina gave the Ok Emma started her slow but firm thrust stroking that spot that made the queen melt from the inside out.
"Emma! Faster please, oh god dont stop," Regina screamed and cried as Emma pounded her with precision.
"Slow and steady." Emma whispered against Regina's ear before as she dedicated her lips to Regina's neck making the queen writhe beneath her.
"Emma!" Regina screamed as she was pushed over the edge, Emma smiled feeling a bit dissatisfied not that she didn't like seeing her wife being brought over the edge but she knew she could do better than that.
"Let's do that again but let's do it in the throne room," Emma said, making them appear in the throne room on her throne with Regina hovering above her ready to be fucked.
"Kiss me." Regina said her hands rubbing up and down her chest and back up to her shoulders.
"Gladly," Emma said before capturing the queen's lips making it a priority to make her wife pass out from immense pleasure.
"So we will see mommy and daddy tomorrow?" Sam asked as he sat up in the bed tiredly but used to his father and mother tucking him in,and his mother telling a nice story that always seemed to have the best endings.
"Yes, I promise we can go back after breakfast, ok" Mal said.
"Ok goodnight aunty Mal." Sam said laying down and looking at the ceiling as his eyes drifted close.
Emma tangled her tongue in Regina's beautiful mouth as Regina rotated and rocked her hips riding Emma. They're tongues battling for victory, Emma felt Regina's walls starting to clench and a minute later Regina pulled away panting bouncing sloppy and erratic on top of her.
"Not until I say." Emma said before latching on to the swollen nipple making Regina cry out in pain and pleasure.
"Emma not too hard they're sensitive." Regina whimpered her nails digging into Emma's shoulder blades as she swirled her tongue deliciously around each nipple giving them equal attention.
"Emma please!" Regina screamed as she slammed down hard on Emma's shaft, her fingers gripping Emma's hair trying to keep herself up straight Emma grinned as she thrusted her hips hitting Regina's g-spot making Regina cry out in shock and pleasure. With a couple more thrust Regina fell over the edge her scream muffled by Emma's lips pressing on hers softly.
"I never said you could cum," Emma said, pulling away as Regina came down from her high. Her head was swimming and a bit cloudy.
"Well I did ask nicely." Regina snarked, making Emma laugh darkly.
"God Ima make you wish you waited." Emma whispered making Regina shiver in excitement.
