A/N: Here is my story: Heroes of The Multiverse. It is an MCU, Arrowverse and DC Universe crossover. This story takes place from the beginning of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 until the end of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season three. This story was heavily inspired by Superfluffy1022's Heroes of S.H.I.E.L.D. and WIU and Superfulffy1022 presents: Secret Wars: Battleworld. Enough talk, on with the story!

Central City
A young, 10-year-old boy ran through the deserted and damaged streets of Central City as two adult males chased him. The streets were cold as snow covered the roads as did many damaged cars and ruins of destroyed buildings. Snowflakes rained down on the street as the boy kept running as the adults chased him.
"Give it up, kid!" one of the adults yelled.
The young boy ignored the adult, he was too focused on escaping to listen. He continued running and running, he passed through the sidewalk as he ran over the frozen lake. This proved to be as mistake as the boy slipped off of his feet as he fell face-flat on the ice. The two adult males stopped running as they stood still behind the boy, the young boy skid through the ice before finally stopping. The boy looked up as he saw the two figures approaching him, his vision blurred, his ears were filled with an echoing sound. The boy finally got into his senses as he stared in horror at the two men approaching him, he crawled backwards in fear, clinging tightly onto his bag as the adults snickered.
"Easy kid, just give us the bag and we'll leave you alone, pinky promise." one of the adults said.
"Yeah, cross our hearts and hope to die." the other one said as the adults glanced at each other chuckled maniacally.
The adults were distracted as the boy took the opportunity to escape. He threw himself off of the frozen lake and onto the snow-covered grass. He got onto his feet and ran as fast as he could, his legs pumped like never before. The adults stopped chuckling as the noticed the boy escaping.
"He's getting away!" one of the adults cried out.
The adults tried to run but they fell off their feet and landed on the frozen lake, the boy stopped running as he laughed at how hard the adults were trying to escape. The adult men crawled on the ice as they quickly got onto the snow-covered grass before getting onto their feet.
"You're dead, kid." one of the adults sneered as the boy stared in shock.
Suddenly, a flash of orange lightning came and knocked one of the adults of their feet and onto the ground. The adult was knocked unconscious by the hit as the other adult looked around in shock.
"What the hell was that?!" the man yelled.
Suddenly, another flash of orange lightning came as the man was knocked off of his feet, landing face-flat on the ground unconsciously. The boy stared in awe not at what happened to the adults but at the man in front. It was The Flash.
He looked different, he wore his Flash suit top but it was sleeveless, revealing Flash's naked arms (though he was wearing black, leather gloves), he had a red helmet the covered the back and top of his head and a grey visor that covered half of his face while leaving his mouth and chin exposed. That seemed to be the only part of the Flash suit that Flash was wearing, instead of his full one-on suit, he wore long, army styled pants. As if his top was a shirt, Flash had a black backpack hanging off of his shoulders and he was holding a dead fish in his hand. Flash walked closer and closer to the boy as he stood in front of him before speaking.
"I take it you're William Clayton." Flash said kindly.
"Yeah, that's me." the boy said, staring at Flash in complete awe.
"Well, William, you dropped this." Flash said, handing William his dead fish which he had hunted earlier.
"Thank you, Flash." William said, taking the fish. "I'm a big fan."
"Your mother told me that." Flash replied.
"My mom sent you?" William said, sparking with hope.
"Yeah." Flash said, lightly smiling. "Come to think of it, I should probably take you to her."
"Funny, the entire city thinks you're dead." William said. "So does she."
"Yeah, she does doesn't she?" Flash said.
"Yeah, she has ever since she froze the city." William said. "The Inhumans' war with the Metahumans is only making things worse. And everyone thinks you're dead."
"Good, then they won't see me coming." Flash said.
Out of the blue, Flash grabbed William and ran out of the area at super speed. He ran through the streets of the damaged and ruined Central City before running into the S.T.A.R. Labs facility as he stopped in the cortex. Inside, William's mother, Samantha Clayton, was there as she stared at her son in shock.
"William?" Samantha gasped in shock.
"Mom!" William cried out as he jumped at his mother, who tightly embraced him.
Flash smiled at the mother-son pair as Samantha gave him a grateful but tear-eyed look.
"Thank you." Samantha whispered.
Flash nodded as he walked out of the cortex, giving privacy to both William and Samantha. Flash sped over to the living room, which had been just repaired, so everything was back to normal. The city, however, was another thing. It was nearly destroyed, the bridges were blown, Central City was sealed off from the rest of the world and it had been declared a 'no man's land'. On top of that, the war between Juggernaut and the Inhumans and Reverse-Flash and the Metahumans was making things even worse, not to mention that both Hive and Caitlin, no - Killer Frost declared themselves 'Emperor and Empress of Central City'. The city had basically gone to Hell. Flash took off his helmet, revealing the face of Barry Allen, as he placed it on the counter before walking forward to the windows. The windows were partially frozen, snow covered the edges. Outside, snow and ice covered the ground as snowflakes rained down on the entire city. Barry breathed a deep sigh.
"What have you done, Cait?" Barry whispered, looking out to the ruins of Central City.
Right now, however, there was only one thing on Barry's mind: Daisy. Barry hoped she was okay, Daisy may have thought that Barry was dead but soon enough, Barry would find Daisy and they would be reunited together. For now, however, Barry would have to try and do the one thing that seemed less possible than anything in the world: save Central City.
A/N: I'll end that chapter right here. Don't worry, I will explain everything about this chapter. This is the kind of story where the opening is in the present but no one understands what's going on, so there's a bunch of flashbacks explaining how everything became the way it is. By the way, this story was also inspired by the events of the Batman comic books 'Arkham War', 'Zero Year' and 'No Man's Land'. Hope you enjoyed this chapter and I'll see you in the next one.
