-After getting his blade and an assignment-

Naruto was walking towards a small shack in the middle of nowhere, he looked around and saw trees and mountains but no other house making him sigh, upon reaching the house he could hear a bunch of clattering and heart beats that seemed terrified while another seemed extremely corrupted making him growl a little "This is my first mission" Naruto muttered to himself as he entered and looked around, while looking around he held the katana's handle and prepared for anything to happen, that's when he heard footsteps and spun around coming face to face with a terrified little girl.

"Please mister, you have to save them" the little girl said as Naruto nodded and pointed towards the exit, picking up on his order she ran out the door and Naruto looked around slowly heading towards the rest of the heartbeats, he made sure his footsteps were silent as he moved and checked everything incase something missed his hearing, once he reached a door that said Kitchen, he slowly opened it and found something disgusting, he saw a bunch of children tied up and a pot with some water boiling, then he heard the demon's heartbeat and growled.

"A demon who believes they are a chef?" Naruto mumbled to himself and then slowly walked towards the demon, once behind it the demon spun round after catching his scent but it was too late, Naruto had his blade drawn and cut the demon's head off before it could react, Naruto sighed and used his blade to cut the rope holding the children and escorted them out of the building before setting it a blaze with some matches he carried, he then lead the children to a small village close to the shake and said to the mayor "I found these children being kidnapped after their parents orphanage was attacked, would you mind putting them in a one here?" After getting the confirmation from the mayor Naruto smiled a little and started to head back to demon slayer HQ.

-A few weeks after first mission, Gates of Demon Slayer HQ-

A young man wearing a haori with flames at the bottom walked through the gates with a small yawn, under haori was a katana in a sheathe with the tsubasa of a flame, this was Naruto and he was called in for an emergency mission, upon entering the HQ he looked around and saw 2 people he recognized and another he only heard of from his older brother, he nods to his fellow mizunoto and then bowed slightly to the two hashira's "Kocho-sama, Tomioka-sama what do I owe the pleasure?" Naruto asked respectively.

Giyu looked at him and said "There is a mission that we have been called to be back-up for, the current people on this mission as the closest back-up at the time is Kamado Tanjiro, Hashibira Inosuke and Agatsuma Zenitsu" Giyu said and Shinobu nodded to confirm the statement, Naruto nodded at the orders and turned towards the door.

"Are we going then?" Naruto asked as the two Hashira looked at him confused.

"But you just returned from a mission, won't you need to pack?" Shinobu asked as Naruto chuckled.

"I always prepare for the worst and hope for the best, for example incase the mission gets extended I always have enough food on me to last a month, as for my clothes I have 3 pairs packed" Naruto said simply surprising the Hashira's further until Giyu coughed into his hand and nodded.

"Then we should get going" Giyu said as the team nodded and started to run towards Mt Natagumo, on the way there they made a couple of breaks to eat and rest up a little, that was until it was about midnight and they reached the foot of the mountain and Naruto froze a little

"There is a lot of people up there, dead or alive I don't know but I hear swords clashing" He said as he looked up and then jumped onto a tree branch. Naruto looked to Shinobu and Giyu for orders while the two Hashira seemed to have a private conversation.

"We'll head up the mountain, Naruto head to where you hear the most fighting, Kanao will back you up from the ground while me and Tomioka-san try to find whatever demon is up there and causing a ruckus" Shinobu said getting a 'Hai' from everyone.

Naruto looked to Kanao and nodded as she nodded back and they took off, Naruto in the trees while she stuck to the floor keeping up with him, this continued until Naruto heard a heavily beating heart and then looked towards it and saw a small explosion "Huh?" Naruto asked as he shot off in that direction, upon reaching where he saw the small explosion he saw Tanjiro who he instantly recognised from the Final Selection and a girl with some bamboo in her mouth, although she had demon features Naruto could hear her heartbeat and it seemed human which confused Naruto a lot, he looked and saw a demon sewing it's head back on and Tanjiro struggling to stand so he decided to lend a hand, faster than Tanjiro or the female demon could see Naruto appeared and used Tanjiro's head as a boost and shot forward again while taking a deep breath and then muttering "Ichi no Kata: Shiranui" and before the demon could react Naruto removed it's head, that's when he realized the Kanji in the eye of the demon "Damn Tanjiro, you seemed to tire out a lower moon if I was able to take it out like that" Naruto said as he turned to see the demon protecting Tanjiro and chuckled "And even have yourself a guardian demon" Naruto jokingly said as he smiled softly.

Tanjiro who was sat on the floor rubbing his forehead opened his eye to see Naruto from Final Selection, he smiles a little "Hey there Naruto, where have you been?" Tanjiro asked as Naruto raised an eyebrow.

"Demon Slayer HQ, getting missions and trying to make my way through the ranks and with this kill" Naruto said pointing at Rui who was slowly turning to ash "I should be a Mizunoe, maybe even a Kanoto" Naruto chuckled lightly before he then turned serious "Anyways, Tanjiro, who's the girl?" Naruto asked as Tanjiro looked confused then saw Naruto pointing at Nezuko.

"Oh this is my younger sister, Nezuko, Nezuko this is the one who protected me a little throughout Final Selection, he's also very strong" Tanjiro said as Nezuko seemed to calm down a little and Naruto nodded.

"Nice to meet you Nezuko" Naruto said as he stuck his hand out and Nezuko look confused "Ah right, you probably forgot, this is a handshake, lightly grasp my hand and shake it" Naruto said and Nezuko seemed to nod as she did just that. That was when Naruto let go quickly and raised his blade to block Giyu's "Oi, Tomioka-sama" Naruto said as Tomioka looked at Naruto and then to where he was pointing.

"Oh it's you and your sister" Giyu said as he spotted Tanjiro who nodded, he then took his blade away and Naruto sheathed his blade and looked at his hand.

"Damn super strength Hashira's" Naruto muttered before he looked around and saw Giyu blocking Shinobu's blade now.

"What's the matter Tomioka-san? Haven't gone soft on me and decided to protect a demon" Shinobu asked and Naruto growled a little.

"A demon with a perfectly fine heart that's not even corrupted and sounds pretty human?" Naruto asked and Shinobu's eyes widened a little before she simply said.

"Naruto, you job is a Demon Slayer and as your superior I command you to eliminate that demon" Shinobu said in a voice that left no room for arguing.

Naruto sighed and went to grab his blades hilt before he grabbed Kanao's wrist "Kocho-sama told me to do it, not you Kanao-san" Naruto said as he unsheathed his blade and then they heard a crow caw.

"Tanjiro Kamado and the demon Nezuko Kamado are to be taken back to HQ" the crow repeated and Naruto looked at Shinobu.

"Seems like master has given us new orders" Naruto said as he saw the box Nezuko used to be in and motioned for her to enter, once she entered he lifted it up and put it on his back and watched Giyu carry Tanjiro "Who has the other slayers who survived?" Naruto asked as Shinobu answered.

"There were a couple capable slayers here that were extra back-up, we sent them to collect the survivors and we sent the others to collect the dead so we can bury them" Shinobu said as Naruto nodded and started to walk down the hill, he must admit sometimes he liked Shinobu because she seemed so caring and compassionate, but right now he didn't know how to feel as he had seen the girl in the box behind him wasn't a threat, all she was doing was protecting Tanjiro, a demon slayer and her elder brother. Naruto stayed silent the rest of the way back to HQ and once there he was told that there would be a hashira meeting and that they would need Nezuko and himself there, Naruto nodded and headed towards the meeting area where the Hashira's always met with Nazuko still on his back "This will be eventful" Naruto muttered to himself as he looked around and saw a bunch of Hashira's there, he knew Kyojuro and Mitsuri of course, as he turned to the house he then heard Shinobu and Giyu walk into the circle and smiled to himself, he knew it was them from memorizing their step patterns and the sound of their feet hitting the floor, after all you never know if a demon has the abilty to transform into someone, he stepped up onto the small porch and took the box to the dark corner of the room and put the box and Nezuko down gently before going and sitting on the stones infront of the Hashira's.

Everyone was silent until they heard the medics with Tanjiro come around the corner and throw him down and Naruto sighed as he saw them rush off. Tanjiro woke up from the landing and then Naruto turned to him as Tanjiro asked "Where's Nezuko?" Naruto chuckled a little and replied.

"Nezuko's alright, you should be worrying about yourself right now buddy" Naruto said as he points to the Hashira's "After all, you're the subject of the meeting and I'm here for a reason which I don't even know" Naruto said as his brother clears his throat getting their attention "Right yeah" Naruto muttered before sighing "I guess I should introduce them all from the one you're most likely to know to the least" Naruto said getting a nod "Right so the person you most likely know is Tomioka Giyu, Water Hashira and the one who recommended you to Urokodaki, probably, then you have Kocho Shinobu, the insect Hashira, she's also the best doctor we have in the Demon Slayer corps and made poison out of Wisteria Petals, then we have Kanroji Mitsuri, the Love Hashira, inventor of Love Breathing which stems from the Flame Breathing, then Rengoku Kyojuro, the Flame Hashira, argueably the strongest of the Hashira right now and my older brother, then Tengen Uzui, creator of Sound Breathing which stems from Thunder Breathing, keeping up so far?" Naruto asked as Tanjiro nodded and spoke.

"Your big brother is a Hashira?" Tanjiro asked and Naruto simply nodded before continuing.

"The Mist Hashira, Tokito Muichiro, he seems to enjoy cloud watching and day dreaming, then Himejima Gyomei, the Stone Hashira, nicknamed the immovable Hashira and my favorite the Gentle Giant, then Obanai Iguro, the Serpant Hashira, likes snakes and created Serpant Breathing which is stemmed from Water Breathing and finally Shinazugawa Sanemi, the Wind Hashira, older brother to someone else from the final selection who was never trained in a Breathing technique I don't know why though" Naruto said before turning to Tanjiro "Introductions are done" Naruto said as Tanjiro nodded and Naruto then turned to his brother "So Kyojuro-nii" Naruto said seriously "Why am I even in this meeting?" Naruto asked as Kyojuro looked at his brother before sighing.

"You interacted with the demon known as Nezuko" Kyojuro said before Sanemi interrupted him.

"Which is a violation of the Demon Corps rules, that means that you, Tanjiro and the demon in here" Sanemi said as he picked up the box holding Nezuko "Are going to be executed" Sanemi finished and Naruto just glared at him as Tanjiro shouted.

"But Nezuko never hurt anyone, she isn't like the other demons!" This got the attention of the other Hashira as Naruto sighed and just sat down letting Tanjiro explain whatever he wanted, while this was going on he saw Sanemi pick up his blade and stab into the box pissing Naruto off a little more and making Tanjiro shout "Noo! Leave Nezuko alone!" Tanjiro jumped up even with the ropes on his arms and ran at Sanemi before he jumped and headbutted Sanemi, that's when the meeting went to hell as Naruto saw Iguro jump down and pin Tanjiro and that's the mess the master came out to and said a simple.

"Hello my children" Naruto looked at the master and sighed a little, this meeting would be a long one.
