A/N: So I got asked if I would introduce other Naruto characters, yes at some point I plan to introduce some other Naruto characters, for example the fourth member from Mercury, Cinder and Emerald's team I might make it Sasuke and have him be a Snake faunus or something like that, I have some stuff planned out. Naruto was stood on the launch pad stretching ready to go, he smirked softly as he heard Jaune asking about parachutes and almost burst out laughing, or he would have laughed if he didn't get launched, as soon as he was launched he grabbed his weapon and fired a round to keep himself in the air and look for a safe space to land, or a place he could make a possible landing that is. As soon as he spotted the spot his eyes narrowed and he switched his weapon from sniper to the scythe form and used the blade to catch the branch before chuckling. "Now to find someone and not piss off Yang and upset Ruby" muttered Naruto as he hopped off the branch and turned his scythe to his sword making his way towards the temple while looking for people.
~With Ruby at the same time~
Ruby was running through the forest chanting "Gotta find Yang or Naru first" over and over before she thought "Well Jaune wasn't too bad and neither was that Blake girl Naruto talked to yesterday... I just really hope I don't get-" she didn't get to finish and already jinxed herself as she spotted the one person she didn't want to be teamed with, Weiss Schnee.
"Ugh!" exclaimed Weiss as she walked away before seeing Jaune and going back to Ruby, "Which way is the temple?"
"Huh? Oh uhhhh" Ruby thought for a moment before pointing North of the forest "That way I think" she muttered getting a groan from Weiss who then sighed.
"Well come on we best get going!" Weiss exclaimed and walked off towards the temple with Ruby following behind.
~With Yang at the same time~
Yang was stood in a small clearing "Naruto! Rubes!" she shouted as she looks around "Come on guys this isn't fun!" she growled before hearing a Ursai growl louder and Yang looks at it "Have you seen Naruto and Ruby? A tall blonde dude with muscles? Or a short black haired girl who looks like little red riding hood a bit?" she asked the Ursai who just roared in her face "Okay, rude coulda said no" she muttered before killing it "sheesh" after muttering that more appeared and one sliced her hair making her freeze and then glare at it "Don't. Touch. My. HAIR!" She shouted punching alerting the whole forest of her warning as the grimm suddenly stopped moving and then just collapsed and evaporating
~With Naruto as she shouted~
Naruto heard his girlfriend's shout, stopped looked towards the source and started to run towards it "I'm coming Yang" he muttered as he sped up.
~Back with Blake and Yang~
"Oh. It's you" muttered a bored female voice making Yang look to her.
"Oh hi!" Yang said before looking down where the Ursa was "I coulda handled that"
"Yeah sure" muttered Blake
"I guess we're on a team huh?" asked Yang and Blake nods "Well I'm Yang Xiao Long!"
"Blake Belladonna" muttered Blake as soon as Yang and Blake introduced themselves Naruto ran into the clearing and looks at them before groaning.
"I still don't have a teammate" muttered Naruto as he just sighs and starts to walk towards the temple "C'mon Dragon I wanna get this test over with" he said dejectedly making Yang pout.
"Awww did Naru wanna team with me?" She asked jokingly as Naruto looks at her.
"Duh, why wouldn't I wanna be teamed with my girlfriend, we make an awesome team" he replied as they started to head to the temple followed by Blake who looked confused.
"So what? You appear and steal my partner now Naruto?" she asked him seriously but she meant it as a joke. In turn Naruto looks at her and sticks his tongue out.
"Hush hush kitty cat" he muttered "You look like a cat with that bow by the way" he said before continuing "All you'd need is the tail" he mumbled as he kept walking "And I'll have you know, I never stole your partner, I am just borrowing some time from your partner to have catch up time with my girlfriend" he said as he yawns softly.
Yang chuckles at their interations while Blake looks at him and pouts while muttering "Stupid fox"
"I prefer sly fox thank you very much" he said taking a faux bow as Yang started to laugh.
"Naru are we gonna hang out after the test?" Yang asked as Naruto thought and nodded softly "YES MOVIE NIGHT!" Yang exclaimed making Naruto look at her before checking his scroll.
"Oh shit it is huh?" he mumbles "And it's your choice" he continued as they walked up to the steps of the temple, upon arrival there was 10 slots on a pedestal, a couple of them still had whatever they were meant to hold still there "Chess pieces?" asked Naruto.
Yang just shrugged and noticed the Knight piece as she ran to it "Blake can we have the pony? Can we? Can we?" Yang asked childishly as Blake looks from Naruto who shrugs and sighs while nodding. Upon further inspection Naruto noticed something out of place as he walked closer.
Naruto ran his hands around the pedestal and smirks as he opened a small compartment that held a singular King piece, the biggest difference was it looked to be from the actual chess board and not a giant chess board. As Naruto examined the piece he stiffened and looks around before looking up "Why does she always get in trouble?" he muttered as he suddenly disappeared, 5 seconds later he reappeared next to Yang. "Rubes can't you stay out of trouble for 10 minutes?" he asked Ruby as she just looked accused.
"Meeee? In trouble? What? When? Psh what's trouble?" Asked Ruby as she tried to deny his claims of her being in trouble, his only response was to point up at the Nevermore that Weiss was hanging from.
"And Weiss, your partner, from the looks of it, decided to just, take a trip on a Nevermore wing?" he asked her with a raised eyebrow making Ruby sweat slightly at Naruto go into big brother mode "And not to mention! I just caught you while you were falling from up there!" He shouted at Ruby as Ruby hid behind Yang muttering about 'Scary Naruto' making Yang sigh.
"Naruto" Yang said sternly making him flinch "Leave Ruby alone, she decided to ride on a Nevermore, so be it, her choices" Yang replied as Naruto nodded and looks away muttering about 'Scary Yang'
This scene made Blake chuckle softly until Nora and Ren appeared on an Ursa, Jaune just came launching in through the sky landing on a tree, who then went and 'saved' Weiss I guess and then Pyrrha running into the temple clearing, all of them claiming a chess piece and leaving a confused Naruto.
'I'm the only King' he thought before realizing 'Am I by chance the only wildcard then?' he questioned himself in thought which didn't last long as the Nevermore and Death Stalker appeared and Naruto sighs "Damned grimm" he muttered as he walks away a bit before looking at the group "We should run y'know!" he shouted making them nod as he lead them to the ruins.

~Team Assignments~
Ozpin was stood behind a podium with a microphone on it announcing team CDRL (Cardinal) and JNPR (Juniper) and then finally RWBY (Ruby).
"Lead by Ruby Rose!" announced Ozpin and everyone looked confused making Ozpin smirk "I'm assuming this is about Mr. Uzumaki?" Ozpin asked getting a nod from Yang and Ruby "Well as he is the only King piece" this got murmurs from the teachers and high-up students "Mr. Uzumaki is officially this years wildcard" Ozpin smirked as an outroar occurred.
"HE'S A WILDCARD?!" shouted Cardin Winchester "THIS FAUNUS IS THIS YEARS WILDCARD?!" He exclaimed "I refuse to work with that animal!" he continued. (For future reference, uh yes there will be 100% Cardin and team CRDL bashing. Never liked them)
Naruto covered his ears to quiet out the noise as Ozpin smirked "Oh but Mr. Winchester, Mr. Uzumaki is the one with the King piece, there has only ever been 2 people solve the King piece puzzle" Ozpin smirked and chuckled softly before sipping his cocoa "Mr. Uzumaki here is the 2nd ever in Beacon history to solve it"
"Who was the first professor Ozpin?" asked Weiss, she was shocked as she heard about the wildcard piece from her sister Winter.
"Oh she was incredible, I just hope her son never kept his pranking habit like he used to, gained it from her surprisingly" he muttered as Naruto's eyeswidened slightly.
"Mom was the old wildcard wasn't she?" Naruto muttered softly only Ozpin had heard and looks at Naruto apologetically before nodding.
"Yes Mr. Uzumaki, the last King piece wildcard was Kushina" replied Ozpin "I actually added this puzzle to see if her son held the same love for puzzles she had" Ozpin chuckled softly as Naruto nodded and smiled before walking to Yang and standing next to her.
"Then as wildcard I get to pick a team to join correct, only difference is I get my own dorm room huh?" Naruto asked as he smirked at Ozpin's nod "Then I, the wildcard of this year wish to join team RWBY and keep my own room" he smirked as Ozpin chuckled.
"This would be because you wish to stay with Ms. Xiao Long huh? Naruto" muttered Ozpin as Naruto's eyes showed him a look he hadn't seen in a while, the mischief and cunning of the fox faunus making Ozpin sigh "Of course you kept her habit" he muttered to himself "Then as headmaster I allow you to join team RWBY making it now team RUWBY" (keeping Ruby as it's name) Ozpin said with a small smile "Now enjoy your stays at Beacon academy."
Naruto chuckled, kisses Yang's cheek before handing her a piece of paper with his room number on and then walking off waving to his team over his shoulder.
"What was that about?" Asked Weiss, still in the dark about Naruto and Yang dating.
"Huh? Oh me and Foxy have a movie night tonight, I just hope he packed some snacks" Yang replied muttering the second part to herself.
Upon the mention of movie night Ruby just gagged getting raised eyebrows from Blake and Weiss "You mean watch a movie with Naru and then make out for the rest of it" Ruby grumbled loud enough for her team to hear.
"Hey!" Yang cried defensively "Naruto is very kissable and deserves all the love I give him" she replied.
Weiss who now caught on sighed "You're already dating?" she asked as if it were taboo "I thought you'd wait another year to date someone"
Yang looked at Weiss then to Ruby "Me and Naruto have been dating for almost 3 years thank you very much" Yang replied "And if I remeber correctly Rubes didn't you offer Naruto a kiss because he completed Cresent Rose for you?" Yang asked making Ruby go rose red and look away.
"That's different, he helped make my bab-" Upon realizing how much worse that sounded Ruby's face turned even more red "I mean Cresent Rose!" Ruby covered her face and mumbled about misconceptions as Blake and Yang laughed at her misfortune and Weiss smiled lightly, almost, almost laughing.
"Well if we're done teasing people about Naruto" replied Blake "Shouldn't we get to our rooms and unpack?" she asked as team RWBY nodded and they walk to get their luggage, once Yang grabbed hers she wandered off. "Yang where are you going?" Asked Blake when she didn't get a reply Ruby responded.
"Naruto's room, they've slept together for as long as they've known each other, unless Naruto stayed at his home when his mom was alive" Ruby walked towards their dorm room with a shocked Blake and Weiss following.
~Naruto's dorm~
Naruto had just finished unpacking and was about to lie down when he heard someone knock on the door, giving a soft groan he stood up and opened it to see Yang "At least it's someone I wanna see" he muttered letting her in.
"What do you mean love?" Yang asked sweetly, too sweetly, for his liking, 'how do girls have this power?' he wondered before sighing because not even the author knows (Please explain to the author as well, it's very scary when they do this).
"A couple of people asking if they can have autographs" he grumbled as he lay on his bed "Like is a wildcard that rare?" he asked rhetorically "Don't answer I know they are" he grumbled as he stretched.
Yang just chuckled and lay next to him "I guess no movie tonight then?" Yang asked softly as Naruto softly shook his head.
"Sorry love but we're going to have to push it to tomorrow night instead" he mumbled and kisses her softly, she happily returned the kiss. "We should get ready for bed" he mumbled before yawning softly.
She agreed and so they changed into their underwear, cuddled into each other and slowly fell asleep.
A/N: I'll be honest I'm trying to keep it close to canon as possible, of course there are going to be differences such as the wildcard and King piece, Yang not sleeping in team Rwby's dorm and with Naruto instead, so the spare bed gets used as suitcase holder. Next chapters to come there very may be a lemon or lime, expect 18+ in next chapter to come out and I believe in one of the other chapters posted I called Cresent Rose, Crimson Rose I think, I'm so sorry I'll be honest I haven't watched RWBY in a long time and plan to rewatch it when I get free time.
