Morning

Guest House Property

Finn was surprised to wake up next to Elijah the next morning. The sun was streaming through the lace curtains and leaving a dappled pattern on the bedspread.

"I cannot believe we slept through the night," Elijah said sitting up slowly.

"A hiding always helps you sleep better," Finn laughed. "But I should not jest, how do you feel?"

Elijah got up and felt his backside tentatively, and answered "Good. I feel fine, but I would like to toss that accused spoon into the iron stove at some point today. That stung like a hundred wasps at once! I suppose you did not get a chance to speak to Rebekah and Stefan about the tree incident last night?"

"Nay, I fell into a deep sleep right beside you," Finn admitted. He was almost fully dressed and sat on the chest at the foot of the bed to put on his boots.

"Before you go, Brother, I think I have a solution to your business proposal. There is something called a silent partnership. We could buy a share in the saloon, but the public records would not reveal that we have part ownership in it. I was thinking of setting up a company where we could purchase lands and businesses under a different name. It would protect our reputation and help Madam Sage stay in business and fight those who wish to shut her down," Elijah explained.

"Very clever. That would be splendid. However, I demand to assist you. If this new proposition causes you undue stress or exhaustion, it is not worth it to me. As a matter of fact, I am going to tuck this spoon in my bureau here," Finn warned with a smirk.

"Of course you may help. I would welcome it. Marcel can also learn how to work around city politics more and how to turn a business profitable. It can work, Finn," Elijah said as he checked his image in the blurry mirror. "You need not repeat...last night again."

"You look good, Brother. Thank you for your help. I have a feeling that Madam Sage is someone I would like to get to know a lot better. Over 800 hundred years in a box makes a man eager for the company of a beautiful woman," Finn said as he clapped him on the shoulder.

"I understand," Elijah smiled back.

"I shall go to Rebekah and Stefan," Finn said as he left the room.

"I will see to breakfast," Elijah said as he looked where Finn had stashed the spoon. Why would Niklaus carve such a thing? He ought to have stuck with chess pieces and small animals.

Rebekah's Room

Finn found Rebekah buttoning Stefan's knickerbockers pants at the knees. He was wearing a sailor suit with a wide, square collar.

"Good morning, why, what a handsome suit you have on," Finn remarked. The little blond boy was shifting impatiently as the beautiful blond vampire dressed him. Rebekah was kneeling and made sure to properly tuck in Stefan's shirt into his pants and comb his hair.

"Rebekah says it is quite smart. I will try not to get it dirty," Stefan promised.

Rebekah laughed, "If you do, we shall wash it. These are your play clothes. Now, run down to breakfast, luv." Stefan let Rebekah kiss him on the cheek and run off.

"I meant 'walk briskly,' young man," Rebekah called after him, but Stefan was already gone.

"That is fine, let him go," Finn said indulgently.

"Finn, what happened to you? You used to be so stern with all of us. When we were in France after we turned, you acted like you despised us and everything about being a vampire. Here, you seem, happy and accepting of our lot," Rebekah said picking up Stefan's night clothes and putting them in the dirty laundry bin. She almost stumbled on a ball he left out on the floor, but her vampire reflexes kept her on her feet. She sighed happily.

"I am happy to see how you have all grown and prospered. Sister, it was long ago, but after we turned we were blood thirty monsters. And my emotions, so long repressed under father's watchful eye, exploded. All I could feel was guilt, regret, and shame. But that is gone now. I hope to be the brother I should have been all along," Finn said quietly.

"I am happy to hear you say that. We have had some hard times where we have faltered and perhaps drawn Father's attention to us. You know he still hunts us, to this day?" Rebekah said finally sitting and staring at Finn.

"Yes, I am sorry to hear it. But let it not trouble us now. How are you today? Did you speak to Stefan about yesterday?" Finn said changing the subject.

Rebekah exhaled, "I did give him a thorough tongue lashing and told him if he does not start listening better that I am going to spank him with the hairbrush. Maybe I should have thrashed him last night, but in truth, I left him alone. If anyone deserves a spanking, it is me."

Finn frowned, "Rebekah, he is newly nine years old and should be able to be left alone for a few moments without flinging himself out of a tree. I truly do not think you are at fault. Is he disobeying in other ways?"

Rebekah flushed, "He is willful about completing his lessons and he does not like to take a bath. He lied to Jennet about stealing a sweet off the table the other day. Oh Finn, he just lost his mother and his father, too, I know he is sad...But I swear the next time, he is very naughty I will punish him."

"Sending him to bed without supper would probably straighten him out a good deal if he is lying and stealing sweets," Finn replied.

"Oh, I could never do that as the boys' father used to do that to them. They are human, they need to eat properly. It is just too cruel. But you are right, maybe the punishment should fit the crime more. I did tell him, no more tree climbing. I suppose I never realized how difficult it is to...try to control someone," Rebekah admitted.

"It is not control, it is teaching them to control themselves. Rebekah, Stefan is young, it will take many lessons for him to learn how to survive in this world to be a good man. Just be patient with yourself. Also, this need not fall on you solely. Come to me or our other brothers, if you are feeling vexed. I do have some experience with being the unpopular relative," Finn teased. "It does not bother me."

"Thank you, Finn, for trusting me. I know we have all grown attached to these children. Humans are so delicate that it scares me," Rebekah revealed.

"They are also witches. Surely, that will help them defend themselves in the future. Now, come, let us go to breakfast," Finn said putting his arm around Rebekah.

"Morning," Klaus said sipping from a tea cup full of blood. They had recently begun to have humans come early for their blood. Klaus made sure that they had a variety of people to feed from that they paid and compelled for their services. Marcel needed to feed on a regular basis, especially, to control his hunger. But in truth, they all did much better when they feed at least once a day, though they could go longer without fresh blood if they needed to.

Finn greeted the others as Elijah was filling in Klaus and Marcel about the plan to help purchase part of the saloon.

Kol exclaimed, "We are going to own the Mystic Saloon? Excellent. I could help manage it."

Elijah retorted, "You will do not such thing, young man. We know what goes on there in the back. Remember, you are 17 and will be attending school with the other children. Children do not imbibe spirits and associate with the filles de joie of the town. Do you understand?"

"Aye, I do, Elijah. But I do not like it," Kol articulated.

Klaus intoned, "You need not like it, little Brother, but we need to fit in here. The new property will be ready in a few weeks. It is quite grand, if I do say so myself. It is a step up from our first house here and this humble guest house."

Stefan asked, "What's a filles de joie?

Marcel laughed and Rebekah cut in, "Eat your sausage."

Elijah asked, "Kol, what are your plans for today?"

Kol answered, "Damon and I are going to start his training. I found some old grimoires from when I was in Arabia, but I suppose I will start how Mother taught me. Simply."

Finn smiled, "That is good. Just do not boiled all the fish in the lake! I promised to take young Stefan here fishing soon, is not that right?"

"Yes, we are going to catch trout and catfish and...," Stefan announced, trying to remember the rest.

"And bass," Finn finished.

"Yes, well, I shall try to steer Damon down the cautious path of magic. Too much power, too soon, never turns out that well," Kol said buttering a piece of toast.

"I do not think I have that much power, but thank you for trying," Damon said shyly.

Marcel commented, "I think you have more to draw from than you think. The way you saved your brother with no training. I may not know as much about witches as Kol, but that seems like a good deal of power to me. You should see how powerful the witches are in New Orleans, you would not want to cross one, that is for sure."

"Them, and their bloody hexes," Klaus groused. "Apologies. You all know how those covens vex me."

"Is that why you had to leave New Orleans? Witches?" Damon asked innocently.

Elijah shook his head, "Damon, we are the Originals. We would never let the nine covens of New Orleans or any others dictate our plans. We came back because we saw an opportunity here to reclaim our home. And I for one, am glad we did."

"Me, too, Brother!" Klaus said.

"Easy for you to say, you do not have to go to school!" Kol growled.

Damon nodded, "I need not attend school either. I am almost too old. Father had said I would complete my studies and attend to business soon. Maybe we could just forgo this idea of school with the locals?"

Elijah countered, "Absolutely not! I am trying to hire an excellent teacher for all of you. You both have a lot left to learn. We wish we would have had the opportunity you have now for more education. Now I shall not hear another word about it."

"But for us to attend with younger children like Stefan is embarrassing!" Damon objected with a start. He did not know where this courage had bubbled up from.

Klaus said Elijah's thunderous expression, "If the two of you need to discuss this further, will can do so from the privacy of my study after breakfast. Now, drop it. You two are going."

Kol pondered, "Why does Marcellus not have to go?"

Marcel smirked, "I am too old looking. Shall I go as the school master? I do not think you would enjoy that too much!"

Elijah agreed, "Marcel is right. He was turned much older than you. I am sorry, but we have to appear as an upstanding human family. We all have to play our part."

"Come on, Damon. Are you ready?" Kol got up and tossed his napkin on the table and stomped off. Damon trotted after him.

Elijah went to get up, but Finn stopped him.

"Let them go, Brothers. If they have more concerns, I will speak to them. Now, shall we go see your solicitor in town?" Finn inquired.

Two Weeks Later

Afternoon

Tuesday, June 26, 1855

"Try it again, Damon," Kol said patiently. Damon was trying to light several white candles in a circle edged in salt with his magic.

"I did. It just will not work. Damn, this is a waste of time," Damon said throwing down his almost blank grimoire.

Kol growled, "A witch never throws his grimoire. You pick that up now or you will do it with a red arse!"

Damon scowled, but stepped forward to pick up his book on the ground. Kol vamped over and cracked Damon's behind twice.

"Boy, your attitude is getting tiresome. Maybe I need to have you pick a switch?" Kol prompted. Kol let Damon go.

" I was doing it!" Damon snapped in anger and frustration. "I am not a child!" As Damon went to stomp out of the circle, the candles all lit at the same time.

"There you go, lad! Bravo," Kol said clapping his hands.

Damon's neck burned in shame, "You did that on purpose to make me angry? I cannot believe it worked. Did I really do that?"

Kol smiled and stepped in the circle, "Aye, I can no longer do magic. It was you. It is okay, mate. Sometimes you have to reach deep for the magic. Do not be ashamed."

Damon smiled a little before asking, "Did you have this much trouble learning?"

"Nay, magic came more easily to me. Now, keeping out of trouble with my magic, not so easy. Once it starts to flow and you believe in yourself more, it gets easier. Let us try something a little more advanced," Kol said. He gathered some leaves from the clearing they were in beyond the property. Kol put them in a pile.

"Leaves? Really? What is the point of this?" Damon scoffed. He was getting tired. He wanted to check on Stefan and maybe ride Azul later. Elijah had kept his morning busy with lessons and then he set him with additional work to complete before tomorrow. Stefan was restless and growing more spoiled by the day, but no one seemed to notice, except him.

"The point is, try it. Then, we can stop for the day," Kol said with a flash of irritation. It was warm and he was sure Damon was hot and tired, but they had not been at this that long.

"I am trying to lift them? Or create a breeze to move them?" Damon asked sharply.

"Draw the energy from the candles into moving the leaves. Anyway you can," Kol answered.

Damon concentrated and nothing happened. After his second try, Damon got angry and kicked a nearby log hard, stubbing his toe in the process.

"If you hurt yourself, I am going to put you over my knee. Now, stop it and focus," Kol demanded. Damon flashed his bright blue eyes at the ancient Original vampire and Kol felt himself get knocked over the back of the log. The flames surged and then went out.

Kol was momentarily shocked, "Do you do that?" He was on the ground dusting himself off.

Damon appeared nonplused, "No, it must have been the breeze."

"Damon! You just attacked me. Do you realize that? I am trying to help you," Kol thundered.

Damon shivered, "I did not know it would work. You were vexing me."

"You are acting like a spoilt brat. I will clean up here. You head back to the house and go to our room. We will talk about this later," Kol said sternly.

"But I was going to go riding and see to Stefan. This is not fair. It is your fault that I am terrible at magic," Damon went on.

Kol began to gather up the magical artifacts, "Damon, I have given you instructions and I shall not repeat them, now march yourself up to our room. Now, please."

Damon huffed and spun around to stalk back to the house. He was angry, but a small part of him wanted to laugh at how he had knocked Kol over the log. He had trained him after all. And Kol was not his guardian, was he? Damon turned and walked to the stables. He found Rebekah and Stefan there, feeding the horses and waiting for him. The day had been sunny, but was growing overcast. it looked like rain. That suited Damon's mood.

Stefan ran up, "Damon! Damon! Finally, you are here. Can I ride Azul?"

"Sure, Stefan," Damon answered. He put Stefan on Azul's back and walked him slowly around the stable area. Damon was nervous that Kol was going to see him and shout at him to get back to the house. He glanced over at the direction of the clearing that Damon was practicing in.

After a few moments of circling Stefan around, Damon exhaled and looked at Rebekah helplessly. He was not sure where to start.

"I think I am in trouble with Kol," Damon explained ruefully.

Rebekah looked at Damon and asked, "What happened?"

"I knocked Kol over. It was an accident! He ordered me to go to our room and wait for him. But I promised Stefan I would play with him so...,-" Damon explained.

"Damon! Were you not told to go to your room?" Finn asked coming up to the trio.

"Yes, but Kol was not being fair. I should not get punished because he is a poor instructor," Damon argued.

Finn gave him a hard look, "Rebekah, would you take Stefan inside, please? It looks like rain. I am going to have a talk with Damon."

Stefan frowned, "But Damon, you said you would play with me!"

"Damon needs to go in. He will play with you another time," Finn explained gently.

Stefan grumbled something and Rebekah picked him off of the blue black colored horse.

"You can finish your lessons from this morning," Rebekah reminded him.

"But I do not want to!" Stefan said as his feet touched the ground. He stomped and kicked up as much dust as he could.

Rebekah called for the stableboy to get the horse, and picked up Stefan and walked him to the horse. Damon

"You need to be an example for your brother. Kol just wanted to have a talk with you. But you are being defiant and I do not like it. Come on," Finn said firmly.

Damon realized he had been defiant, "I did not mean to disobey. I will apologize to Kol."

"You will," Finn instructed. "Come along." There were walking along the fence back toward the guest house. There was a peel of thunder in the distance, but no rain yet.

Damon was getting nervous and paused, "Are you going to take a strap to me?"

Finn stopped and informed him sternly, "No, Son, but if you do not start listening and come along, you are going to get your backside heated up before we even get to your bedroom!"

Damon's face reddened, "But I am not a child! Stefan is the one who needs...Never mind, dammit!" Damon's looked towards Finn and Finn felt a gust of wind move his clothing. Was the boy trying to knock him down with magic?

Finn grabbed Damon by the bicep and put his foot on the railing of the fence and leaned Damon over his thigh. Whack! Whack! Whack! Whack!

"Stop! Please!" Damon begged trying to cover his behind with his hands. Finn pinned them with his left hand and smacked Damon four more times. Whack! Whack! Whack! Whack!

Damon was fighting to get out of this humiliating position.

"Are you ready to behave? Or do I need to take down your trousers?" Finn asked pointedly.

Damon was incredulous, "Right here? No, please. I am sorry. I will behave!"

Finn let him up and felt the rain start to pour down, "Come on before we get soaked."

They got to the house a moment later and Finn marched Damon directly up to his room.

"Get out of these wet clothes and into your pajamas. You are restricted to your room for the rest of the day. I am going to change and then I will be back to talk. When I come back, I expect you to be facing that corner," Finn said sternly.

Damon swiped away angry tears and nodded.

Finn went to change and considered what to do with the errant teen. Kol had been upset by Damon's outburst but insisted that he himself could not thrash him. Klaus, Elijah, and Marcel were out of the house, so Finn felt that he should step in. Yet he was not sure what to do with the boy. Finn had just been hoping to have a talk with the boy, but the walk to the house had proven that Damon was going to need a more intensive intervention. Kol was downstairs in Elijah's study pouring over grimoires in order to give Finn and Damon some privacy.

Finn entered the room and found Damon in the corner. He was standing stiffly and had his hands on his head. He was wearing linen pajamas that Marcel had lent him. They were a little too big in the waist and an inch or two too long. They were a dark blue color.

Finn sat on the bed and called to the boy, "Damon, you can turn around and come sit here. Did you father have you stand in the corner? You look practiced."

"More my mother. Sometimes she would make us stand in the corner for all afternoon. Maybe not that long, but hours it felt like. Stefan fell asleep one time standing up," Damon revealed.

"I am sorry to hear that. You know you and your brother are the first humans I have gotten to know for a long, long time. I abhor the thought of punishing you, but using your magic as a weapon when you are angry was very ill-advised. Kol was just going to talk to you about it, yet you defied him and went to the stable. I cannot let that go unpunished," Finn said gently.

Damon felt more tears tickle down his face, "I know. I am ashamed. I do not know why I act as such. Forgive me."

Damon turned and came over to Finn slowly. He face was clouded by doubt and shame.

Finn said, "Son, you made a mistake. We will take care of it now. You will be forgiven and can speak to Kol. I am going to have to share what you did with my brothers. I am afraid they might handle this a touch more firmly than I am going to, but they will not punish you a second time."

"Thank you, sir," Damon uttered. He looked so boyish in the oversized pajamas.

"You look tired, Damon. Have you been sleeping well?" Finn asked with concern.

"No, I had nightmares. Silly ones, that my mother was a vampire...She came to get Stefan and me and turn us. We did not want to go with her, but her new family took us anyway. I woke up crying. Father says it is folly to cry, but sometimes I cannot help it," Damon said in a small voice.

"Oh lad, tears are nothing to be ashamed of. You need not call that man father again and your mother is not going to steal you two away from us. We will always protect you. Now, let us get your punishment over with. Come, over my knee, trousers down. Then, you shall sleep a little," Finn said gripping the waistband of Damon's pajama pants and unbuttoning them. After he bared Damon's pale bottom, he flipped him over his left thigh. Damon's feet were mostly still resting on the floor, but his upper body was on the bed. Damon grabbed a pillow off the bed to clutch and bury his head into.

"Please, do not do this," Damon wailed in alarm. Finn was not going to waste time with more talk. He rolled up Damon's pajama top in the back to get the soft fabric out of his target area. Damon was clenching and squirming already. Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

Finn applied his large hand over Damon's behind in firm, but slow smacks. Damon's eyes popped open wider at the stunning sting from each blow. Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

Finn's hand bounced over the now pink mounds with energy, but Finn was not raising his arm high. He was flicking his wrist as much as possible to make the most out of every whack. He knew the human boy would not heal like his vampire brothers did and he that he had to be careful.

Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

After the first twelve swats, Finn heard Damon crying softly. He stopped and rubbed his pink backside.

"Damon, what are you getting a spanking for?" Finn asked kindly.

Damon sniffed and replied, "Not listening and losing my temper. Trying to use magic against you and knocking down Kol. I suppose I have been the disobedient one, not Stefan...I am sorrrryyy." Damon wept louder. Finn patted his backside and let him cry. He really did not think his behind could be hurting that much, but it was hard for him to ascertain. He tapped the boy's rear on the sensitive part under the crease where his backside met his thighs. Tap. Tap.

Finn recalled how Elijah had given each boy his age in the ruler. Maybe he could do that, too. He wanted to wrap this up and comfort this boy who was clearly suffering.

"Damon, you are forgiven for all that. When learning something new, it is hard, we make mistakes. I am going to give you sixteen more spanks and we will be done. They will be a little harder," Finn warned. "Keep your hands away from your backside or you will get more."

"I-I am r-ready," Damon cried into his elbow. He was not sure he could take more. The ancient Originals' hand felt like a wooden paddle to Damon. It was so hard and unyielding.

Finn moved back on the bed and lifted Damon's legs completely over his knees. He did not want to have to spank the boy more for standing up. Finn wrapped his left arm tightly around Damon's waist and raised his hand higher than he had for the first portion of the bottom warming. Damon tensed and Finn's hand descended sharply.

Crack! The first smack landed on the center of Damon's left cheek hard. A light hand print appeared.

Crack! Now, Damon's right cheek was visited by Finn's hard hand. Damon gasped and shouted out, "OWWWWW! No!"

Finn lowered the next two blows. Whack! Whack! Finn was spanking him much harder and Damon began to kick wildly and flail his arms, but he was held tightly.

"Damon, I am just using my hand. If you do not settle, I am going to send you for Rebekah's hairbrush," Finn threatened.

"Stop! Stop!" Damon begged as Finn popped him hard on each sit spot. Whack! Whack! Damon wept louder and blubbered that he would never use magic against them again. Finn continued to spank firmly, but lightened the whacks so they could get through the next ten. Damon's formerly white bottom was now a darker pink.

Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! Four more lighter whacks on the sit spots caused an inferno of fire on Damon's rear that caused him to scream again for mercy.

Finn gave him two more on the fullest part of each cheek. Spank! Spank! Spank! Spank!

"You will learn to behave yourself and use your magic for defense and for good, young man. We love you and know that you can do much better," Finn lectured as he paused a moment to examine Damon's rear. It was red.

Damon just sobbed something in response that Finn couldn't make out. Finn popped him firmly the last two times across both cheeks and then set the hysterical boy on his feet. He wanted to get a rag to wipe his face.

Damon jumped and hopped with his pajama pants now at his ankles, clasping and grasping his spanked behind. He was still crying hard and heavy tears rolled down his face. Finn dipped a towel into the wash basin and used the wet end to wipe Damon's face, as he settled down to just rubbing his backside. Finn turned him and lifted the pajama shirt to check the state of his rear where Damon's hands were not clutching and it looked red, but not bruised or overly swollen.

"Shhh, you are all forgiven now. I know that hurt, but you have been punished. Now, let us get you into bed," Finn said as he gave the bed a quick embrace. Damon rested his head against Finn's chest, but still kept his hands on his sore behind. He kicked off his pants.

Finn opened the bed for Damon and let him slid in on his stomach.

"Your hand hurts," Damon whined a little. "But I will not ever do that again."

"I know, Son. Is it okay if I send Kol in, he wanted to talk to you before you go to sleep? He is not angry with you. Maybe he will tell you about the time we all got a whipping when we were human or when he did a spell that went wrong," Finn smiled leaning over to kiss Damon. "Truth is, it was a lot more than once! Love you, boy."

"Love you, too. Yes, I would like to see him," Damon sniffed.

"Ask and you shall receive," Kol said coming into the room.

"Kol, were you listening? Is there no privacy in this house?" Finn asked sharply.

"Sorry, Brother. I had to make sure you did not skin the lad alive. There were a few times I almost busted in. I brought him this," Kol said producing the cream he found in Elijah's office in his desk drawer.

"What is that?" Finn asked in confusion.

"A soothing lotion for the arse. He only uses it on after we get the switch or such, but since the boys are human, I thought it was appropriate. May I?" Kol prodded.

"We shall talk about you meddling and going through property later, but maybe the lad could use that balm. His backside is pretty red," Finn rolled his eyes at his baby brother's antics and left the two boys alone.

Damon rolled to his side, "I am sorry, Kol." Damon teared up.

"Hush now, I heard the licking you got and I forgave you at the first whack. Now roll over on your stomach so I can see the damage on your behind," Kol said gently. He peel back the covers and whistled at Damon's red behind.

"It hurts," Damon admitted, "Not like the strap does, that is a deep ache. And I only get four or five hits at the very most. But this spanking was longer and harder, it burns."

"Well, I was not going to spank you myself, but you ran off and disobeyed me anyway. Am I to feel sorry for you? Hmm," Kol said lightly. "I am going to put this lotion on. It will be cold at first. It will help with the burning."

"How come you were not going to spank me yourself?" Damon asked timidly.

Kol answered honestly, "Every time I ever got a hiding I always promised myself that I would never do that to someone. Maybe that is childish, but that is why. However, hearing you get that spanking from Finn...I cursed myself for letting him discipline you, when it should have been me. I just could not bring myself to come in."

Kol moved Damon's shirt up out of the way. The lower part of his cheeks were still red, but his upper thighs were almost untouched. Kol smiled as the boys seemed to get off easy compared to some of the hidings he had gotten, even as a human.

"No, I deserved it. It is just Finn's hand is hard. Did he ever spank you when you were human? I know you told me Elijah did. Ah, that is cold," Damon gasped as the cream touched his skin, "But keep doing it." The cream was already soothing the burning and Kol had a light touch. He had stopped crying and knew he should be embarrassed to have his bare arse hanging out, but he was not.

"Aye, Elijah always acted like an old man. Nik was just a little older than me, as I am only a year older than Rebekah. Finn never thrashed any of us himself, but he did tell on us quite often. He was very close to our mother and she believed every word he said," Kol recalled. "We did do some wild and outlandish things, but only when our father was out raiding. When he was home, we had to be near perfect, or we would really get it."

"Did he lie to get you in trouble? I have lied to get Stefan out of trouble. I even got whipped so he did not," Damon said turning to look at Kol. He finished the cream and carefully replaced the blanket over Damon's behind and reclined beside him. He remembered to take off his boots and grabbed the pillow off of his own bed to prop under himself.

"Back over, mate. Let the cream sink in. Nay, I do not think Finn lied, but he exaggerated our misdeeds at times. You see, Mother had this giant cooking spoon that we all hated. There was this one time when..." Kol started. Suddenly the years melted away and Kol was back on the farm again.
