For zoro I would do perona but she is a pirate and I thought about hiyori but I need to finish watching wano first before thinking about that plus I think maybe mikita?
For tashigi I think I'll do her and luffy even though I live her and zoro ships

LUFFY AGE: 14
Luffy has already mastered the 2 types of haki at just 14 years old and then he left for training on how to be a marine
For the first year luffy was to get field experience
( He could of used being garps grandson to skip this and be a captain but he wanted to go through the same things his future subordinates would go through )
So he did that exactly that , he joined a marine ship for 6 months
But why only 6 months you ask
Well...
FLASHBACK 1 WEEK
( Will not use the text because its going to be a long story )
Luffy has been traveling the east blue on patrol
( ps im gonna move every island i mention in this fic into the east blue )
Luffy is the second in command at rank " master chief petty officer at only age 14 "
His crew consist of 22 people , one chorboy , nine seaman recruits , seven seamen apprentices , 3 seamen first class , luffy and the ensign daddy Masterson and they sailed on a basic marine ship
They were given a mission to chase the marine traitor " saga " as they were the closest to the area and were an appropriate rank.
The island they were heading to was about 4 islands away from the grandline " Asuka island "
They were given basic information such as sagas appearance , that he was a swordman who had the rank of warrant officer and that he had killed his superior before going rouge along 1 subordinate , that all happened 1 year ago
Luffy had a particular dislike for traitors since he understood how it feels to be betrayed and to have your trust broken ( one time the kids in his village pretended to be his friend but then ambushed him )
Masterson had decided to restock and supply on the island before their destination and they had also chose to stay the night on the island since it was almost sundown and they would need energy to fight.
So they arrived and Masterson and the seaman first class stayed on the ship while the rest of the crew were sent out to restock
Luffy was allowed to do whatever he wanted since he was the second in command so he had decided to go on a walk to explore the island
Luffy was wearing the same clothes as coby when he was a petty officer but the white was yellow and the blue was red , he did not have a scarf and his collar was open so you could see his neck and a very small amount of his chest
Luffy heard a commotion and ran to the scene where he saw a group of about 8 pirate looking people attacking a girl around his age with blue hair
Using armament haki he ran at inhuman speeds , jumped and did a drop kick into one pirate when he immediatly jumped off the man causing him to fly into another man and propelled himself towards the other pirates and swiftly knocked them all out and tied them up
But he realized that he did that for a reason and looked towards the blue hair girl who looked shocked at the new development until he spoke up
" You alright? " luffy asked the blue haired girl
" O-oh yeah " she lightly bowed " Thank you , you really saved me there im ann and this is-" she pointed to her left where a weird panda bird twice her size landed " balloon "
Luffy looked on in stars at the bird before he got control of himself and smirked " AWESOME BIRD , I am Luffy it is nice to meet you ann and balloon "
Ann asked " your a marine are you not? " ... " Yep im a master chief petty officer we should bring these people back to camp " luffy tied them all up together and dragged them all on a rope and started heading back to the ship
Ann followed while balloon just did his own thing in the sky
Luffy spoke up " So what happened back there? " ... " Oh they tried to kidnap me , it must because im super cute " she said with a completely straight face and a smile
Luffy sweatdropped " Yeah they tend to go for the pretty ones " she blushed a little since he admitted that she was pretty
" So mr. marine whatever are you doing in a town like this " and luffy thought for a moment and awnsered " well we have word of a criminal that is holding base in the neighboring Asuka island "
She paled a little bit and asked " Do you mind giving me a lift over there? "
Luffy asked " Why do you wanna go there? " and she lied " O-oh i just heard that its a nice place and I wanted to check it out "
Luffy stopped walking and turned around to look her in the eyes " Okay on two conditions first you have to follow our rules and stay away from trouble and second Tell me the real reason your heading there " she gasped a little and tried to lie but when his eyes pierced into hers she couldn't lie " I-I grew up by myself mostly the only reason I had a home was due to the peoples hospitality "' Why am I telling him this '" I only really had balloon who would bring me food and play with me and occasionally would bring other animals to play or to ask for help from me but I was happy and content with my life '" Its all coming out but why? For some reason I feel like I could just talk and talk and it will make my troubles go away '" but O-one day a group of pirates attacked my village and balloon and I were the only survivors and as we ran , the man claimed that balloon was valuable and he started chasing me and I've been on the run since , its been about a year now and I got fed up with it and decided to not run anymore and decided to either kill him or die trying... " ... 'Oh God I'm an idiot all I did was convince him to make me stay here'
Luffy still wore a poker face and replied " I see then you can come with me-"..."REALLY?"..." On 2 conditions"...she put her hands over her mouth" first you follow my orders and stay out of trouble , second you do not go anywhere without a escort , you hear me? "
She smiled very brightly " Of course , It is a deal " luffy sighed thinking he will regret this later but he also smiled at the prospect of helping her and stopping the criminals who hurt her
FLASHBACK
Luffy age:12
Since garp had been training luffy he had spent more time with him then he would of otherwise and because of that they talked quite often
" Hey gramps can I ask you something? "
" sure luffy "
" what does my middle name stand for , is it just d or something else " the grandson asked
And the grandpa replied " look luffy there is something called the will of D it is something incredible and you happened to be given that name , I will not tell you the meaning, if you want to find out one day then you can try but you will have to do that without me "
" So is it something important then? , since you don't tell me "
" it does not matter but either way luffy i ask that you do not tell anybody other then those you trust deeply your middle name do you understand "
" huh? Okay grandpa I understand "
FLASHBACK OVER ( Just wrote this to explain why he didn't say his full name like he usually does in canon ).
Meanwhile with daddy the father Masterson
Masterson decided to get the crew a treat for the night for good work
He met a guy who claimed he had the best katsudon and ended up hiring him to make food for the entire crew so that they did
Everybody was partying when a random crewmember cheered " To Asuka island! "
The cook seemed a bit suprised and asked Masterson if he could have a ride since he was heading home that direction anyway
" How about this you bring me ( Ganzo ) and my grandson tobio to Asuka island and I will give you the food for free "
Masterson explained the situation and that there was a dangerous man there and he proposed the same condition that luffy made to ann which he quickly agreed to ( I mean luffy has sailed with Masterson for almost 6 months he was bound to learn a thing or two from the man )
But to ganzos suprise not only did he bring them with him he also payed them ( Totally not because he was a fellow parent )
The next morning they left and set sail to Asuka island
On the way luffy had befriended the 4 guest quite a bit , infact he had even been told about genzos and Tobias past and why they were heading west and he simply wished them luck
He also talked to ann quite a bit
She asked what his dream was and he said he has a few dreams
One is to be she strongest
One is to have many friends
Another is to change the world for the better
( he did not mention his goal to remove the celestial dragons from the face of the planet )
And she learned that luffy was just a really good guy and quite ambitious to have more then 1 dream
" But to be honest I'm pretty ambitious too , I have 3 dreams as well " she giggled a little bit and went all cheery " I want to befriend lots and lots of animals i love them so much , I wanna become an animal doctor a veterinarian and... " her demeanor went from happy to serious " I hate poachers I hate all of those people who would hurt innocent animals , I mean I can understand hunting them for food but those people who hunt them for fun or just so they can sell them sicken me , I want to protect animals and learn all about them ... I don't want any other animals hunted down like balloon and I were"
She was clearly passionate about this she was a true animal lover
" And it seems that balloon has a dream to " luffys eyes widen ' how does she know that ' and as if she read his mind " OH not to be weird or anything but I have always been good at reading emotions , its like I have a psychic connection to balloon and few other's ... anyway his dream is to find more of his species and I plan on helping him " ... ' I like them they seem fun ... I wonder if that could be an advanced form of observation haki? " luffy wondered
" Thats a great dream i bet you will do fantastic ... and I'm sure balloon will get his wish " ( FUCK I ACCIDENTALLY DELETED 300 WORDS AT THIS POINT SO SORRY BUT IM SPEEDING PAST THIS BIT )
She blushed a little , not many people have encouraged her before and here luffy is , he's been super nice to her and has been pretty great and he's handsome and ' Stop it brain! '
" LAND HO! "
everybody quickly went up to the deck and got prepared to dock
They were welcomed to the village but saw that there was a section of building that were on fire
Three people came up to them , the presumed leaders , and they introduced themselves as Maya , her grandmother izaya and their bodyguard laqous
They wished to talk so the 5 highest ranking went to go talk in the elders home
It was the 3 seamn first class , luffy and Masterson talking to Maya , izaya and laqous
They asked why we came here so we explained that we believe a criminal was hiding out here and they confirmed are suspicions and told us the threat and the legend of the island
The legend of the island , the red moon , the 7 star sword and the 3 pearls and everything to do with it as well as everything about saga
( The difference between the movie and my version is that saga was still a marine even with only 1 arm and they had stopped here after their ship was destroyed and he fell in love with Maya and likewise but pirates attacked and he got cursed by the sword and went out to sea for a week and returned after killing his crew )
Maya begged me to spare saga and I agreed.
We asked how many enemies there were and they said that they only saw up to 10 at a time
We decided to go after them now before the night of the red moon
We ordered the villagers as well as our guests to stay at the village.
Later we gathered our crew and headed out to the enemies location we had stopped at a certain point to let our crew prepare while Masterson and I decided to go and scout the location
We were talking and we started talking about Masterson's daughter
" I swear , she Is an ANGEL , she is always trying to help her mother and is such a sweetheart, I just wish that I could be around for her more ... But I need to make money so I continue to work as a marine "
Somehow the conversation changed to his only defeat
" My biggest lost was in a sniping match against yasopp of the red hair pirates ... I shouldn't be saying this but he was quite the man , he was the only pirate I have come to respect " Masterson explained fondly
Luffy grinned quite brightly " I Met him too " ... " Really! When? " ... " When I was seven the red hair pirates stopped at my village for half a year and I got to know them they are quite amazing ... I know that pirates are still often bad but I know that not everything is black and white "
" Oh so thats where they were when they went off grid ... but what about your grandpa where was he? "
" oh I lived by myself ... grandpa would visit sometimes but he was gone during that period "
" I see " ... ' A seven year old boy lived by himself... I'm gonna fucking kill garp '
Luffy sensed 10 people to the right " 10 ENEMIES TO THE RIGHT! "
Masterson took out his gun amd simultaneously twisted to the right and shot 3 bullets , all in one moment he killed 3 enemies at the same time luffy ran full speed into them and hopped up crashing his knee into ones face ( caving it in ) then he twisted his body and grabbed 2 others faces and slammed them together before he jumped back into the trees to avoid gunfire while Masterson shot 2 more and beat one down with his gun they then captured the remaining enemy
" luffy interrogate him " Masterson ordered ( the reason he asked luffy is to give him more experience )
Luffy walked up to the man " How many of you are there? " he asked bluntly
" Fuck you " he spit into luffys face
Luffy wiped it off and stomped on the man's toe breaking it , when the man went to cover his face luffy grabbed his hand and squeezed tightly and you could hear a cracking sound " HOW BIG IS YOUR GROUP " The man squealed like an injured pig and replied " I-Im sorry... * sniffle * there is probably about 150 " their eyes widened " Shit thats alot more then we were told we should call back up " luffy spoke
" Damn we should of brought a transponder snail we will when we get back to ship "
Luffy sighed and squeezed his hand harder " who are they? " he loosend his grip for now
The man grunted in a high pitched voice " W-we are an alliance between 2 pirate groups and another group there is a group that's lead by a man called saga , then there is el drago and his crew and then my crew and our captain spiel the hexagon "
" captain Masterson do you know those crews?" Luffy asked and Masterson awnsered " yes I check all bounties let's see first is Eldoraggo or el drago whatever you want to call him his bounty is 10 million then his 2 subordinates suto and golass bounties 9 and 8 million and spiel the hexagon is bounty 3.5 million ... so we have enemies that make up 30.5 million bounty and that's not including the unnamed pirates or saga .. DAMN! "
Luffy was concerned " Yeah we need that back up fast let's finish interrogating him "
"Tell us all you know about this alliance!" The man didn't tell them so luffy kicked his shin cracking it and the man cried and told them
" W-we have been in an alliance for 1 week our groups met here on accident and fought until the leaders seemed to make a deal where they help saga with a sword then search for some kind of panda bird " luffy stiffened " find woonans gold " luffy sighed ' my God the coincidence ' " and then sail the grandline "
" give us personal info on the captains " luffy all but demanded
" well captain spiel is very cruel and takes pleasure in hurting people as well as fame and gold ... uhm el drago is even worse and loves gold even more then spiel and ... well saga seems to enjoy chaos and wants to be the pirate king to cause more chaos "
Luffy sighed ' That is not what the pirate king is supposed to do ... why can't more people understand what it means '
" one last question ... Where are they? "
The man smirked viciously " ON THEIR WAY TO YOUR CREW ASSHO-" Luffy used armament and kicked him into the face knocking him out before he and Masterson ran back to the crew
" How would he know we were here? " luffy asked Masterson " Well he is an ex marine it is very possible he hacked into our communication systems and heard us get this mission "
" Damn we need to hurry "
They get there and see their crew of 20 people surrounded by 150 people ( the important ones are saga , his right hand man mr suto ( captain kuros little brother who looks almost identical except for red hair ) toma , Bismark, boo Kong and spiel the hexagon , el drago and his right hand man and men golass and the hyena 3 ) luffy and daddy ran in and jumped to their allies to join in and shield their allies
