Chapter 81: The Rescue Angel's Deck! Shine, 'Holy Celestial Instant Win' Combo
"The region around doesn't seem dangerous." Honda noted.
"No, we don't know if there are any trap." Otogi corrected.
"Otogi is correct." Marik agreed. "We can't let our guard down."
"People like you two only say things to make Shizuka uneasy." Honda chided.
"But it's really great that I can meet all of you." Shizuka beamed.
"Isn't that right?" Honda bragged. "With us accompanying you, you can relax now."
"I wonder how onii-chan and the others are doing.' Shizuka mused.
"They should be in a duel right now." Otogi guessed. "The Big Five, since there are five of them, that is to say we might have to fight with Duel Monster Cards."
"But we have Honda with us." Shizuka smiled. "So we don't need to worry, right? Because Honda is the teacher who taught onii-chan to play Duel Monsters."
"That's not what Grandpa says." Ami drawled.
"Of course if anyone dare to challenge us, I'll finish them all." Honda boasted.
"And I believe that for about zero seconds." Marik rolled his eyes. "Guys, is it me or do I see a door in front of us?"
"It isn't just you." Otogi confirmed. "I see it too. This is too fishy. We should be careful."
"Rock, paper, scissors?" Honda suggested.
"If you say so." Marik shrugged and the three boys played a round of janken to see who gets to open the door.
"Darn it." Honda cursed when he lost the round and reached for the knob to open the door.
The group of five found themselves transported back to the hanger.
In the empty hanger...
"Are we back in the hanger now?" Honda looked around.
"I don't think so." Marik corrected.
"I don't see the Battle Ship." Otogi agreed. "This shouldn't be the hanger."
"I've been waiting for you." a voice sounded. "You all look like you'll be weak opponents." Ota Soichiro appeared before the teens, in his 'Robotic Knight' form. "I am Ota Soichiro, one of the Big Five. This face is the false face of 'Robotic Knight', my Deck Master. Before that cursed Kaiba Seto became president, I am the man who managed the Military Sector of Kaiba Corporation. Everyone called me the 'Demon Warlord of the Factory'. Come, let's start the duel. My opponent is you, the first one to come in." he singled out Honda.
"Wait, let me be your opponent." Marik stepped up. "It won't be fun to face off against amateurs, would it?"
"Covering for each others?" Ota scoffed. "It's useless. No matter which of you fight with me, it's impossible to beat me."
"How about my suggestion?" Otogi piped in. "Let the three of us guys fight against you. As long as you win, you gain all three of our bodies."
"Then, let's choose an effective and fun way to fight." Ota counter-offered. "A five-on-one fight. I will fight all five of you alone and the five of you can fight me together. And if you lose, all your bodies shall be mine. There is a reason why I chose to fight like this: I want all of your bodies."
"Then, Yuugi and the others..." Honda realized.
"They won." Otogi, too, realized the same thing.
"Weaklings like you fight better together." Ota remarked. "You should be grateful. Now to arm yourselves with the Duel Discs." he summoned five Duel Disks on the arms of the five teens. "Pick the Cards for your deck. Just touch the Cards you want with your finger."
"Pick a total of 40 Cards." Ami instructed, already tapping away. "Don't just pick strong Monster Cards. Pick Trap, Magic and Equipment Cards as well; Ritual Cards if you want to."
"Once you picked your Cards, choose a Deck Master." Ota added.
"I'm using 'Strike Ninja'." Otogi picked his Deck Master.
"I'm using 'Goddess with the Third Eye'." Shizuka picked her Deck Master.
"I'm using 'Super Roboyarou'." Honda presented his Deck Master.
"I pick 'Drillago'." Marik said.
"This is mine, 'Holy Seraph Aesculapius'." Ami picked her Deck Master.
"It looks like you're all ready." Ota remarked. "Then, let's start. Since this is a five-on-one duel, allow me to change make the rules before the start of the game." he opened the floor to reveal a pit of molten lava. "Although you can all attack me together, it is illegal to discuss. After all of you end your turns, it'll be my turn. I do believe the saying goes 'Ladies first'."
"I'll start first." Shizuka took the first turn. "I Summon 'Shadow Tamer' in Attack Mode. I end my turn."
"Looks like I'm going next." Ami took her turn. "Let's change the scenery, shall we? Field Magic Card: 'Sea of Serenity'."
"Are we on the Moon?" Otogi gawked as the surroundings turned to the Moon's surface.
"I pay 1500 of my Life Points to activate 'Sea of Serenity's effect." Ami continued. "The opponent must discard all Magic, Trap, Equipment and Ritual Cards from his hand and deck into the graveyard."
"Curse you." Ota hissed, pulling out all his Magic and Trap Cards and putting them into his graveyard.
"I set one card in reverse and end my turn." Ami ended her turn.
"It's my turn." Honda took his turn. "I Summon 'Cyber Commander' in Attack Mode. I end my turn."
"It's my turn." Otogi took his turn. "'The 13th Grave' in Defense Mode. I end my turn."
"My turn." Marik took his turn. "I Summon 'Vampiric Leech'. 'Vampiric Leech', direct attack the player. Turn end."
"It's my turn." Ota took his turn. "I Summon 'Giga-Tech Wolf' and attack the face-down Monster." he took out Ami's reverse 'Encourage Celestial, Tamiel'. "And the remaining attack power will affect the others."
"I'm okay." Ami got back to her feet. "I activate Tamiel's effect; the moment Tamiel is sent to the graveyard, I can Summon a Monster with the name 'Celestial' in it and add it to my hand." she picked 'Holy Celestial, Mikhael' from her deck.
"My turn hasn't ended yet." Ota reminded. "I activate my Deck Master's ability. Every time I sent a Machine Monster from my hand, I give you 500 damage."
"It's my turn." Shizuka took her turn. "I Summon 'The Forgiving Maiden'."
"Shizuka, Defense Mode isn't set in vertical, but horizontal." Ami sighed.
"End turn." Shizuka had no choice but to end her turn.
"It's my turn." Ami took her turn. "I sacrifice 'Eradicate Celestial, Raviel' from my hand to Summon 'Prophecy Celestial, Ramiel' and I also Summon 'Underlay Celestial, Hesediel'. Ramiel', 'Hesediel', destroy 'Giga-Tech Wolf' and attack the enemy player. I set two reverse Cards and end my turn."
"It's my turn." Honda took his turn. "I activate 'Block Attack'." he changed 'The Forgiving Maiden' from Attack Mode to Defense Mode. "Turn end."
"It's my turn." Otogi took his turn. "I Summon 'Yaranzo' in Defense Mode. I set one reverse Card and end my turn."
"It's my turn." Marik took his turn. "I Summon 'Lekunga' and 'Swallowtail Spike Lizard'. 'Lekunga', 'Swallowtail Spike Lizard', direct attack the player."
"It's my turn." Ota took his turn. "I Summon 'Cyber Falcon'. 'Cyber Falcon', destroy 'Underlay Celestial, Hesediel'."
"Reverse Card open." Ami countered. "'Mirror Force'."
'Cyber Falcon's attack was redirected back on the attacking Monster, destroying it.
"I activate my Deck Master's ability; I sacrifice three Machine Monsters to activate the Backup Canonry. Turn end."
"It's my turn." Shizuka took her turn. "I Summon 'Lady Panther' and Defense Mode. I also change 'The Forgiving Maiden' to Defense Mode. I end my turn."
"It's my turn." Ami took her turn. "Reverse Card open. 'Swords of Revealing Light'. I also activate my second reverse Card, 'Pot of Greed' and draw two Cards. Ota, this duel is over. With 'Holy Celestial, Anafiel', 'Holy Celestial, Mikhael' and 'Holy Celestial, Raguel' in my hand, I activate the 'Holy Celestial Instant Win' combo."
"In other words..." Honda gaped.
"We won...?" Otogi stammered in disbelief.
"Was I a fool to use my Deck Master?" Ota screamed, his digital body vanishing.
