Chapter 82: Kidnapped Mokuba - Kaiba vs. Psycho Shocker

"They... won..." Jonouchi was shell-shocked, seeing Ami end the duel with the 'Holy Celestial Instant Win' Combo. "Your cousin is amazing, Yuugi."

"Yeah..." even Yuugi was shocked.

Outside...

"Those guys said their goals were to get our bodies." Yuugi informed the reunited group at the pier.

Meanwhile, Kaiba and Mokuba had also arrived at the pier.

"What the hell are you trying to pull?" Kaiba managed to dodge a strike from a 'Strike Ninja'.

"Guys, over here." Yuugi shouted, the group arriving to the fight.

Taking advantage of the distraction, 'Strike Ninja' nabbed Mokuba and took off.

"You bastard." Kaiba snarled and chased after 'Strike Ninja' on a motorbike.

In the middle of a suspension bridge...

"It's been quite some time, Kaiba Seto." the cloaked Daimon Kogoro, greeted his former employer. "Have you forgotten me? If you desire to go to where Mokuba is, you going to have to defeat me first."

"How absurd." Kaiba retorted. "There's no way you stand a chance against me. But very well, I accept your challenge. For my Deck Master, I choose 'Lord Of Dragons'."

"I will make the first move." Daimon took the first turn. "A Monster in Defense Position. I'll then place two Cards face-down. My turn is over."

"My turn." Kaiba took his turn. "I Summon 'Spear Dragon' in Attack Position. I won't let you keep a Wall Monster on the field. Go, 'Spear Dragon'."

"Thanks to the 'Hiro's Shadow Scout' you destroyed, my opponent is forced to draw three Cards from his deck and if there are any Magic Cards among them, it must be discarded into the graveyard." Daimon explained when three Cards were drawn from Kaiba's deck.

"I can still play a Card face-down." Kaiba reminded.

"I'll use this timing to activate my Trap Card." Daimon countered. "'Solemn Wishes'. My turn. 'Solemn Blessing' is a Card that increases my Life Points by 500 every time I draw a Card. As a result of this Card's effect, I will increase my Life Points by 500 right now. I place a Monster Card in Defense Position. I then place one Card face-down. Turn over."

"My turn." Kaiba took his turn. "I Summon 'Giant Germ' and I switch 'Spear Dragon' into Attack Mode. 'Spear Dragon', attack his Monster."

"You're too naive, Seto." Daimon countered. "Trap Card activate. 'Mask of Perplexity'. You fell for it. 'Mask of Perplexity' blinds you and causes you to be unable to see where you are attacking. It's a Card that lets me switch the attack target. Right now, you won't be able to tell who you are attacking."

"'Spear Dragon', attack him over there." Kaiba ordered.

"Too bad for you." Daimon mocked, the 'Mask of Perplexity' was now removed from Kaiba's face, making him realize he had directed 'Spear Dragon's attack at 'Giant Germ'. "You just ordered 'Spear Dragon' to attack your Monster."

"But, Daimon, you're the one who's been trapped." Kaiba smirked. "I will use 'Giant Germ' as the needed sacrifice to activate my Trap Card, 'Crush Card'."

"My Deck Master is 'Jinzo'." Daimon laughed, removing his cloak after he destroyed 'Crush Card'. "My Deck Master ability holds the power to block all of my opponent's Traps. Kaiba Seto, you will never be activating Trap Cards again. I sold many Kaiba Corporation missiles and other weapons of war to other countries. But the most popular was the virtual system you created. Even now, the program you invented is being used around the world as a mean of combat."

"Gozaburo used the virtual system I invented for military weapons, crushing my dreams in the process." Kaiba fired back. "I decided then in my heart that I would use that man for all his worth and surpass him."

"And all of that ends right here and now." Daimon declared. "Your dream will perish along with you."

"Not yet." Kaiba retorted. "I activate the effect of 'Giant Germ'. I Special Summon the same Card from my deck onto the field."

"My turn." Daimon took his turn. "Thanks to 'Solemn Blessing', I regain 500 Life Points. I'll then place two Cards face-down and end my turn."

"My turn." Kaiba took his turn. "'Spear Dragon', attack his Wall Monster."

"I activate the effect of 'Cyber Jar'." Daimon remarked. "All Monsters on the field are destroyed. And both players draw five Cards from their deck. You then Summon your Monster Cards onto the field. My turn." on his side was 'Injection Fairy Lily', while Kaiba had 'Vorse Raider' and 'Twin-Headed Behemoth' on his field. "Because of 'Solemn Blessing', I regain 500 Life Points. I'll then use a Magic Card, 'Watch Tranquilizer'. This device is designed by Gozaburo himself. It was intended to be a new weapon developed by Kaiba Corporation. Let's give it a test." he aimed 'Watch Tranquilizer' at 'Vorse Raider' and fired the dart. "'Watch Tranquilizer' is a Magic Card that drains an opponent's Monster 100 Attack Points time their level. In other words, the Level Four 'Vorse Raider's Attack Points goes down 400 Points. I will also activate the Special Effect of 'Injection Fairy Lily'. By paying 1000 of my Life Points, I can raise Lily's Attack Points by 3000. I then activate a Magic Card." he continued, using 'Injection Fairy Lily' to take out 'Vorse Raider'. "'Sebek's Blessing'. 'Sebek's Blessing' is a Card that increases my Life Points by the amount my opponent received. I Summon a Monster in Defense Position. My turn is over."

"My turn." Kaiba took his turn. "I'll place a Monster in Defense Position."

"Not going to attack?" Daimon scoffed. "In that case, I'll activate another Trap before it shifts to your turn. 'Life Absorbing Machine'. My turn. Thanks to the effects of 'Solemn Blessing', I regain some of my Life. I'll sacrifice both Defense Monsters on the field in order to Summon this Monster."

The Summoned 'Satellite Cannon' then took off into space.
