Chapter 83: Attack from Outer Space - Satellite Cannon

"With 3600 points against 1200, I'm practically untouchable now." Daimon bragged. "My turn. I activate 'Injection Angel Lily's Special Effect. I give up 1000 Life Points to increase Lily's Attack Power by 3000."

"But I'll activate 'Twin-Headed Behemoth's Special Effect." Kaiba countered, 'Injection Angel Lily' taking out 'Twin-Headed Behemoth'.

"A Regeneration Ability, huh?" Daimon noted, when 'Twin-Headed Behemoth' returned to the field. "How persistent. I set one Card on my field. I'll then activate the Quick Play Magic Card 'Emergency Provisions' from my hand. 'Emergency Provisions' allows me to sacrifice my other set Cards in exchange for 1000 Life Points per Card. Turn end."

"Kaiba!" Yuugi shouted from the other side of the road, the group having arrive via a pick-up truck.

"Yuugi, look at the Deck Master Kaiba's fighting against." Jonouchi pointed out.

"'Jinzo'." Yuugi gasped.

"Then does that mean..." Jonouchi realized.

"Kaiba can't use any of his Trap Cards?" Yuugi guessed.

Back in the duel...

"My turn." Kaiba took his turn. "Daimon, this Card will destroy your Life Recovery Combo. Magic Card: 'Heavy Storm'. 'Heavy Storm' is a Card that destroys all Magic and Trap Cards. Now, you'll lose every Magic and Trap Card on your field."

"Kaiba Seto, I'm going to show you a harsh reality that far exceeds that which you have previously faced." Daimon chuckled. "Counter Trap, activate: 'Imperial Order'. 'Imperial Order' is a Card that, by the cost of 700 of my Life Points per turn, negates the effect of all Magic Cards on the field. Now you can no longer activate Magic or Trap Cards."

With Yuugi and the others...

"This ain't good." Jonouchi noted. "He just got into an even worse situation."

Back in the duel...

"My turn." Daimon took his turn. "Life Recovery Combo, activate. I then initiate 'Imperial Order'. Now, it's time for me to utilize the ultimate weapon created by Gozaburo. Behold it's destructive strength. 'Satellite Cannon', prepare to fire."

Said 'Satellite Cannon' fired a powerful blast down from space, taking out Kaiba's face-down Monster, 'The Wicked Worm Beast'.

"The 'Satellite Cannon' is stationed 36000 kilometers above the ground." Daimon stated. "it orbits around Earth, watching all the life below it. As for 'Satellite Cannon's Special Ability, it can't be destroyed by a Level 7 or lower Monster. And the weakling of a Monster you had on the field wouldn't have had enough Attack Power to strike 'Satellite Cannon' anyway. And when my turn comes to an end, it charges it's Attack Energy by 1000 points. How's it feel to be tortured by the great weapon Gozaburo created?"

"Life is a game." Kaiba sneered. "I won't let the likes of you crush my dreams. My turn. I Summon 'Spirit Ryu'. I switch 'Twin-Headed Behemoth' into Attack Mode. 'Spirit Ryu', attack Lily."

"Have you gone mad, Seto?" Daimon tsked. "I activate Lily's Special Ability. Now I'm the winner."

"Let's not rush here." Kaiba countered. "I activate 'Spirit Ryu's Special Ability. For every Dragon-type Monster I discard from my hand, 'Spirit Ryu's Attack Power goes up 1000 points." sending 'Hyozanryu' and 'Cave Dragon' into the graveyard, he increased 'Spirit Ryu's power by an additional 2000. "'Twin-Headed Behemoth', attack Lily."

"My turn." Daimon growled, 'Injection Angel Lily' was destroyed.

"Daimon, don't forget to pay the cost of 700 Life Points in order to keep 'Imperial Order' in effect." Kaiba reminded.

"On this turn, I'll destroy 'Imperial Order'." Daimon declared.

"Daimon, if this is the level of your strategical ability, you don't stand a chance running my company." Kaiba mocked.

"My turn isn't over yet." Daimon snarled. "A Monster in Defense Mode. And then, I fire 'Satellite Cannon'." and took out 'Twin-Headed Behemoth'.

"My turn." Kaiba took his turn. "I activate 'Pot of Greed' from my hand. Using its effect, I draw two Cards from my deck. In addition, I Summon 'Possessed Dark Soul'. 'Possessed Dark Soul', attack his Defense Monster."

"It's no use." Daimon countered. "'Dreamsprite'. 'Dreamsprite's effect lets me to redirect your attack to any other Monster I have on the field. As such, I switch 'Possessed Dark Soul's attack to target 'Satellite Cannon'. My turn. My turn is over." he passed his turn after drawing a Card.

"My turn." Kaiba took his turn. "Awaken, the blue flame burning within my deck. I Summon a Monster in Defense Mode. I'll then activate my Deck Master's ability right now. Lord of Dragon's Deck Master ability allows me to Summon a Dragon Monster from my hand at the cost of 500 Life Points. I'll then sacrifice both these Monsters. It's time for you to show yourself before us, 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon'. Aim for space." he sent his trademark Monster into space to take out 'Satellite Cannon'. "Where's Mokuba?" he hurried over to the defeated Daimon.

"Who knows..." Daimon shrugged. "But Seto, don't think this is over." he vanished into digital dust.
