Chapter 85: Towards The Final Duel!

"First you lose the duels, now you're trying to steal their bodies by force." Noah sighed, bringing the Big Five to the computer's mainframe. "You guys must not make friends very easily. Your job has long ended. Don't ever show your faces before me again."

"Please wait a moment, Noah-sama." Konosuke protested.

"We must obtain bodies, no matter what it takes." Chikuzen argued.

"Obtain bodies?" Noah scoffed. "What pitiful losers. Losers are never meant to win from the start."

"Noah-sama, just once more." Ota pleaded. "Please grant us one more chance."

"We just want a real human body, no matter what it takes." Chikuzen agreed.

"Did you fools really believe you'd get real bodies if you won the duels back then?" Noah mocked. "Let me put it another way; there's not one real thing here in this Virtual World. Begone." he vanished the Big Five.

Back with Yuugi and the others...

"Noah's the son of the former president of Kaiba Corporation?" Otogi gaped after Yuugi filled the rest in.

"He did say something to that effect." Ami nodded.

"But why would Noah want to kidnap Mokuba so badly?" Jonouchi wondered.

"Noah seems to be having a serious competition against Kaiba." Yuugi noted. "So he kidnapped Mokuba in order to make Kaiba suffer."

"Hold it." Anzu stopped Kaiba from proceeding. "Where are you off to? If it's to save Mokuba, we're going too."

"I already told you." Kaiba snorted. "That this is a problem between us as brothers. It has nothing to do with you."

"But it does concern us." Anzu insisted. "Isn't that right? We were all dragged into this mess without knowing why. And besides, Mokuba is our friend, too. It's only natural to worry about your friends."

"Do as you please." Kaiba relented and continued his way.

On the steps of a hill...

So, while looking for a stalking horse for Noah, Gozaburo set his eyes on me at the orphanage because I looked a lot like him. Kaiba mused. Noah claims that, anyway. But if that's really true, it's strange that Noah isn't around the same age I am. But the 'Noah' in front of my now is just a child, no matter how you look at it. There're only two explanations I can think of; one is that everything he said is nothing but nonsense, and the other is that Noah is already dead and is a ghost who rose from the dead to oppose me. So, I'm fighting a ghost? Sounds like occult garbage Yuugi would come up with. Worthless.

"This hill reminds me of something." Ami mused.

"What is it?" Yuugi turned to his cousin.

"Mount Ararat." Ami answered.

"Wait, isn't that where..." Marik started.

"According to Genesis 8:4 of the Bible, where Noah's Ark is supposedly to have landed?" Ami smiled. "Looks like we can guess what kind of deck Noah uses, huh Kaiba?"

"Humph." said CEO of Kaiba Corporation snorted and led the group into the temple ground on top of the hill. "That's..." he gaped, looking over the hilltop through the clouds. "Kaibaland?"

On the ground...

This is without a doubt, Kaibaland. Kaiba mused. "This device..." he spotted a chessboard in front of the electronic lock of the door. "Checkmate." he moved the knight to its new position and opening the gates. It's completely empty. He walked into the main building. Spotting a door, he opened it

"Kaiba, you're too fast." Yuugi called out, the others breaking into a run to catch up. "What in the world..." he blinked when he saw a reel player and a white screen on the wall.

Kaiba wordlessly switched on the player and let the reel record run.

"Well, let's go to the movies." Jonouchi shrugged.

"Noah, did you show this slide show to prove that you're really Gozaburo's son?" Kaiba snorted as the record showed Noah's childhood. "What in the world..." he gaped when the reel continued playing, showing a woman walking out of the Kaiba household holding Noah's funeral portrait. "Does that mean that Noah is dead? So who's the Noah that appeared before us?"

"Kaiba, do you think that it's possible that before Noah died, Kaiba Gozaburo uploaded his mind into this mega-computer's CPU?" Ami suggested.

"I won't put it pass him." Kaiba agreed. "But why would he go out of his way to show us this?" could it be that Noah's isn't the one who's controlling this program?
