The next day for the first time ever Moxxie overslept and couldn't bring himself to go to school or even get out of bed. His mother had checked on him but he was so depressed he didn't notice and said nothing. Though she was worried she let him be since she didn't know what to say.

All Moxxie could do was cry. He couldn't bring himself to see Mildred off. He didn't even feel like he had the right to after all that had happened. She was probably going to school, grab her things then leave. After that day she would be gone. Forever.

Not wanting to remember that she was leaving, Moxxie began to think of all the times they spent together. All the fun they had from being in each other's company. All the happiness he was finally able to experience thanks to her. He remembered the comfort he felt when he talked to her. He then remembered the day they officially met. That time in the music room. He then looked at the hand she held and pulled it close to his heart remembering the warmth he felt. Then immediately he remembered her goodbye and at that moment realized he didn't want this to be the end.

He jumped out of bed and ran straight out of the door. Because of his depressed state the previous night he was still in his daytime closets. They were messed up from sleeping in them but he did not care.

He ran straight to school hoping he was not too late to talk to Mildred. He ran as fast as he could and once he was in front of the school door he burst in and ran straight to her locker. The minute he saw it his heart sunk. All her things were gone. There was no sign she was ever there.

Moxxie fell to his knees in defeat but after a few seconds, he got straight back up. Even if she was gone he would find her and talk to her. He didn't care how long it would take. It was at this point he heard some students talking a few feet awhile and Mildred's name came up.

"That Mildred is in for it now." one said.

"Bruno has officially lost it." the other one said, chuckling.

"I wouldn't be surprised if she never recovers." The first one said laughing. "OH well. Found her annoying anyway."

The other one chuckled in agreement.

Meanwhile, Moxxie just listened and all color drained from his face. Mildred was in danger and he had to help her and fast. He then ran out of the school and hoped he would find her in time.

Meanwhile, Mildred was heading home. Unfortunately, she didn't have enough money for a taxi and her family would take a while to pick her up, so she figured she would get a head start and walk closer to home. While she walked she couldn't help but remember all the fun times she had in school. Most of them were with Moxxie. She still couldn't understand why he suddenly hated her. She had thought that they were getting along. She had thought she was special to him but apparently, that was wrong. A tear fell from her eye at the memory but then out of nowhere she felt a murderous presence. She dropped all her items and looked around but saw no one.

"Come out you f****** cowards," she yelled. She was currently in a very desolate area where only homeless imps lived but even then she didn't see anyone.

"Hello, Mildred." said heard a familiar voice. Mildred turned to the shadows and out came Bruno. "That was so mean of you. Leaving without a goodbye," he said sarcastically.

"Like I would want to say anything to you," she growled.

"You really are feisty," he said in a mocking tone.

"Shut your trap! B****!" Mildred had obviously had enough of this guy. She got ready to start a fight with him but before she could get closer more imps appeared.

"I wouldn't do anything stupid now little one," Bruno said. More and more imps appeared until she was surrounded. Now normally she would beat all of their butts but even she knew there were too many and with no weapons she had a severe disadvantage.

"You know Mildred before you leave there is something I need to settle first." Mildred prepared herself and Bruno snapped his figures causing every imp to leap at her.

Mildred began fighting them all. Many went down but many were able to land several hits on her. She was hurting but she continued to fight but after several minutes of fighting, she finally lost most of her stamina. There was only a small handful of the group left, which surprised everyone, but even so, Mildred could not continue.

She was panting hard from her exhaustion and Bruno just looked at her with a smug grin on his face. He raised his hand and the others immediately stopped their attack. Bruno then walked over to Mildred.

"I am surprised you could take on this many of my friends," he said, looking at the dozens of bodies on the ground. Many were unconscious while many more were probably dead. "But I guess even you have their limits." Mildred glared at him and he instantly raged. He kicked her as hard as he could in the stomach which sent her flying a few feet away.

She groaned in pain and curled on the ground. She was furious at her situation but she couldn't do anything. Meanwhile, Bruno was laughing at her. Enjoying the suffering he was causing her. Just then he took out his pocket knife and licked its blade menacingly. "You know there was something I always wanted to do to you," he said before giving a look to his friends who instantly jumped at her.

They pinned her to the ground and even with all her struggling her exhaustion prevented her from escaping their grasp. When she finally looked up at Bruno she knew it was not a beating he wanted and instantly caught her second wind and began fighting again but it was still no use. One of Bruno's friends also took out a knife and held it to her throat to where she couldn't struggle without getting her throat slashed. Mildred finally felt defeat and was actually scared. As Bruno got closer she shut her eyes and only hoped things would end quickly.

Then out of nowhere, she heard a loud band. Then in the silence, the only sound heard was of something metal dropping.
