Chapter 105: Oath to a Friend, Red-Eyes Black Dragon

"I set one reverse Card." Yami Yuugi continued. "Turn end."

"'Monster Reborn' can only revive a God for one turn." Kaiba stated. "Return to the graveyard, Obelisk. Yuugi, it's useless to resist. I'm going to crush you this turn and destroy you along with the vision of the past in my heart. My future lies beyond this battle. My turn. Yuugi, you believe that our consciousnesses were reborn thousand of years later from that of a Pharaoh and a Priest. You're welcome to believe in that image of the past if you like. And if you insist on believing that this duel represents a 3000-year-old conflict, that's fine. Then allow me to do you the favor of breaking that illusion you live by into pieces. You, along with your past, I'll destroy that past along with you. It's the last turn, Yuugi. I switch 'Lord of Dragons' into Defense Mode. Magic Card, activate. 'The Flute of Summoning Dragon'. When 'Lord of Dragons' play this flute, I am able to Summon up to two Dragon-type Monsters in my hand to the field. Come forth, 'Blue-Eyes White Dragons'." he Summoned another two White-Eyes to his field. "I have four Monsters on my field. And you, Yuugi, have nothing but the 'Dark Magician' and that trash Monster. There's no way you can escape the attacks from all four Monsters this turn. Yuugi, you lose. Brace yourself, Yuugi, and curve this into your memories. My name: the name of the true winner. Blue-eyes, triple attack. You have no hope left. Red-eyes?" he gawked when 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon' appeared on Yuugi's field.

"'The Flute of Summoning Dragon' lets you Special Summon Dragon-types from your hand." Yami Yuugi reminded. "But that effect wasn't just limited to your hand. It affected the ones in my hand as well: the 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon', the soul Card Jonouchi gave me."

"You still have that Card in your hand?" Kaiba snarled. "Then my Blue-Eyes will dispose of Red-Eyes. The first target is 'Dark Magician'."

"Reverse Trap, activate." Yami Yuugi countered. "'Magician's Selection'."

"It's a Trap that activates only when a Spellcaster you control is being attacked." Kaiba gaped.

"That attack is negated." Yami Yuugi added. "And the Monster with the lowest Attack Power on my opponent's field is destroyed."

"But you won't be able to stop the other two attacks." Kaiba reminded, the reflected attack taking out 'Lord of Dragons' and the second attack from Blue-Eyes took out 'Beta The Magnet Warrior'.

"Reverse Trap, activate." Yami Yuugi played his next Card. "'Spellbinding Circle'. The Monster ensnared by the 'Spellbinding Circle' is rendered unable to attack and their Attack Power is reduced by 700 points. And now for Red-Eyes' counterattack." he took out one of the three Blue-Eyes.
