Chapter 110: The Immortal Wall, God Slime

"Thanks to Obelisk's direct attack, Marik, you've taken 4000 points of damage." Yami Yuugi pointed to his opponent.

"Yuugi, in that attack from Obelisk, you certainly took a chuck of my Life Points." Marik admitted. "But in that very instant, you activated my reverse Trap. This Trap activates when I lose Life Points. 'Metal Reflect Slime'. This Slime Token has the Reflector ability. It becomes a duplicate of the Monster that attacks it. It becomes a Wall Monster with Attack and Defense Points equal to that Monster. Behold, my clone of your God: God Slime."

"I play a reverse Card." Yami Yuugi continued his turn. "And end my turn."

"My turn." Marik took his turn. "Yuugi, I'm going to tell you something. The theme of my deck is Immortality: it's designed to bring back God over and over again until my opponent is defeated. Naturally, that includes the God Slime as well. And then, I'll Summon this Monster. I Summon 'Revival Jam' in Defense Mode. Then I activate a Magic Card from my hand. 'Polymerization'. I polymerize Gold Slime and 'Revival Jam'. Monsters combined together can't attack on the turn they were formed. I end my turn."

"It's my turn." Yami Yuugi drew a Card. "I Summon 'Big Shield Gardna' in Defense Mode. And 'Obelisk the Tormentor', attack God Slime."

"I'm sorry, Yuugi, but it's useless." Marik tsked, God Slime regenerating itself. "Now that God Slime has inherited 'Revival Jam's Regeneration ability after fusing with it, it has become an impenetrable Wall Monster. In other words, 'Egyptian God Slime'."

"I end my turn." Yami Yuugi growled.

"My turn." Marik drew a Card. "I set a reverse Card, and then I Summon 'Bowganian' in Defense Mode. Turn end."

"My turn." Yami Yuugi took his turn. "I place a reverse Card. Then I sacrifice 'Big Shield Gardna' and Summon 'Dark Magician Girl'. 'Dark Magician Girl, attack 'Bowganian'."

"Reverse Card, open." Marik countered. "Permanent Trap: 'Jam Defender'. Thanks to the effects of 'Jam Defender', all attacks sent by the Monsters on my field will be absorbed by the 'Egyptian God Slime'. And before your turn ends, 'Bowganian' activates its Special Ability. My turn. Magic Card, activate. 'Mining for Magical Stones'. Thanks to the effects of Mining for Magical Stones', I discard two Cards from my hand and in exchange, add a Magic Card from my graveyard to my hand. Naturally, the one I pick is 'Monster Reborn'."
