Chapter 113: Alcatraz Goes Up in Flames

"God damnit." Fuguta cursed, slammed his fists on the control panel of the Battle Ship.

"Otogi, have they fixed the engine?" Jonouchi asked, the rest having hurried back to the Battle Ship.

"It's not looking good." Otogi replied. "It still isn't fixed."

"We've got only ten minutes left." Isono looked at his watch.

"Wait, is that..." Jonouchi turned to see a helicopter parked nearby.

"It's the helicopter that came to pick up Jonouchi." Honda realized.

"It's still here." Otogi was relieved. "Lucky."

"We're abandoning this ship." Ami informed the three Egyptians on board the Battle Ship.

"Let's get a move on." Mai urged.

"It's going to explode." Shizuka pressed. "We have no time."

On the rescue helicopter...

"Less than a minute left." Isono barked, he and Fuguta boarding the helicopter after everyone else were on board. "We have no choice. Bring her up."

"30 seconds left." Fuguta looked at his watch. "Ten seconds. Detonate."

As if on cue, the helicopter made it into the air right before Alcatraz exploded.

"What the heck..." Ami blinked when a shadow emerged from the resultant smoke.

"Blue-Eyes White Dragon." Yami Yuugi gaped when the aerial vessel came into view.

"What?" Jonouchi exclaimed, seeing Kaiba's smug laugh.

On the Blue-Eyes aircraft...

"What'cha think?" Mokuba bragged over the intercom. "Amazing, ain't it?"

On the rescue helicopter...

"It is amazing..." Honda gawked in disbelief.

"I don't believe this." Anzu sighed.

"I'm gonna need to up my aspirin dosage after this." Ami shook her head. "Some people just have too much money to splurge."

"These guys are genuine idiots." Jonouchi muttered.

"I guess..." even Otogi was flabbergasted. "As long as they are safe."

On the Blue-Eyes aircraft...

"Nii-sama, they are riding a helicopter." Mokuba pointed out.

"Looks like they had some trouble with the Battle Ship." Kaiba snorted.

On the rescue helicopter...

"Kaiba!" Jonouchi fumed. "It's your fault we almost went down with that island." he shouted over the intercom. "Then, you have the nerve to laugh?"

On the Blue-Eyes aircraft...

"In order to build Kaibaland all over the world, me and my brother are going to America." Mokuba informed.

"Let's go, Mokuba." Kaiba sped up.

"Time for us to return to Domino City." Jonouchi declared.

At Domino City Pier...

"It's all thanks to you, Marik has been freed from the curse of his dark half plaguing his heart." Ishizu spoke, the three Egyptians were ready to leave.

"Thank you, Pharaoh." Marik nodded.

"We three have a new path and rebuild the Ishtar family in a shining future." Ishizu added.

"Pharaoh and 'vessel' Yuugi," Marik stepped forward. "A day will come soon where you visit the land of Egypt. When that day comes, I hope you will see us again as friends."

"We will." Yami Yuugi agreed.

"And now, we bid every single one of you farewell." Ishizu noted.

"Now then, I'm going back to America." Otogi informed. "After hearing Kaiba's plan to build Kaibaland around the world, I decided I can't waste any more time. It's time I think of a new plan for my DDM."

"I suppose it's my turn." Mai spoke. "I've spent a little too much time roaming around here. The Battle City tournament is over. So there's no reason for me to stay in this town anymore. Yuugi, I won't lose to you the next time we meet."
