"Hey Dean. Check this out. Missing hikers."

"Hmm. Sounds like a job for park rangers." Dean said absentmindedly. He opened up the next text. God he hated research.

"One body found. Heart missing." That made Dean look up.

They were on the road an hour later.

"So five hunters go missing in a span of three months. One guy is found with his heart missing, what about the other four?" Dean was getting restless, he was actually looking forward to a old fashioned hunt.

"David Zookle was gone the longest, he was the guy who's body was found. His brother, Kelvin is MIA, same with their friend. A couple, a Mr and Mrs Tilghman recently disappeared, they never returned to their car."

"So Idaho?" Sam showed him the article. "Let's do this."

It was after eleven when they pulled in a bar. It was a Thursday night, and the bar was busy. Rose was shaking her head at the Missing People poster Sam was showing her.

"No. I worked here for months. This is a busy place. We have travelers passing through here all the time. I couldn't tell you who's who, once you been here long enough, everyone starts looking the same." She hands Sam back the poster. "So you boys want a drink?"

"Are you sure you want to keep looking, how do we know if any of these people are still alive?" Dean was eating the 10ยข buffalo wings. Might as well, he was hungry.

"Until I see the bodies, this is a active case." Sam folds the poster and tucks it in his fed suit. "C'mon, there is a few cabins near by. If there is a pack, then there is a den."

A hour later Sam and Dean were fending off Kelvin Zookle. Sam screamed in pain when he got shot by the other missing hiker. Angrily, Dean kills the werewolf. He runs up to Sam.

"Sam?" Sam was bleeding. The shot went in his abdomen. Dean was no doctor, but he knew Sam only had a short enough of time before he bled out. "Stay with me." First aid, there had to be first aid. Dean ignores the couple that was pleading for help. "In a minute." Grabbing the kit that was in a nearby drawer, he runs back to Sam and grabs a pair of scissors. "Here. Bite down on this. Keep your eyes closed." Sam screamed in pain as Dean dug in the bullet wound. At least he sterilized the crude surgical steel with fire from his lighter. After a minute, Dean pulls out the bullet. "Here. I'm gonna get these people out."

"Are you alright?"

"My wife." Corbin Tilghman pleads. "Save my wife "

Sam was in pain, but he managed to patch himself up. They already were too late to save the three hikers, but they could still save the couple. Once The Tilghmans were freed, Dean picked up Sam.

"C'mon. Let's get out of here."

Sam groaned in pain as they slowly trudged through the forest. They needed medical attention, especially Sam and Michelle. Corbin seemed fine, but something about him. He seemed colder. Dean ignored his pleas to leave Sam behind, insisting he was a goner.

Sam tuned them both out. It wasn't just Corbin that was cold, Sam was as well. He looked up, where were the stars? He swore he seen a full moon earlier. When he insisted they stop, Dean refused.

"Just a while longer."

"How long?" Sam felt like he slept for days. He was so stiff. He swore he seen a Woman in Black watching through the trees, but when he blinked, She was gone.

"Let's go Sam."

Ugh. Where was he? The last thing he remembered was getting suffocated by a panicked Corbin. Sam looked at the dead werewolves. Rose and her bouncer boyfriend were dead from the silver Sam stabbed them with. He needed to see Dean, to warn him about the werewolf.

'Sam.'

Sam looked up. Huh?

"Dean? Piper?"

'You can't sleep.'

Wha... That voice.

"Who...Who are you?"

Silence.

The hell?

"Hello?"

Sam looks down at himself. He was in pain, but he needed to see Dean. He had to stop Corbin.

"I have to do this! My brother!" He was fighting Michelle who was trying to convince him to not to kill himself.

Sam, he was staring at the hospital. But it was empty. Where was he?

Forrest Hills Scotland

"Still not talking? Fine. I need to do my research anyways."

Piper was getting a migraine. She saw Crowley smirking at Jenna and Dean. They were at Knox, they were waiting for the Headmaster. Why demons were allowed in here, Piper said unlike Magic School and Sacred Meadows, Knox was neutral, same with Forrest Hills.

"How long do we have to wait?" Piper was getting restless.

"Patience is a virtue. You remind me your grandma. She wasn't very patient either." Crowley was always fond of the Halliwell Matriarch. Penny, woof. He still remembered Studio 54. Man that woman could dance. Plus she wasn't racist, she was very hands on. Crowley smiled at the memories.

"Ew." Piper heard the stories from Grams. She didn't discriminate dating demons. When the headmaster walked in, everyone stood up. When Piper saw who it was, she couldn't believe it. "Kyra?" She was dead. Kyra must have read her mind, she just laughed.

"Was." She was older now, she had this air of sophistication around her. That naive, innocent, wide eye look, was replaced by a confident, intelligent, wise expression. "Sorry to keep you waiting. Shall we step into my office?"

"How?" Piper and her sisters watched her die. Zankou killed her.

"Soul Trader. Then a mercenary named Lily Sunder. Both said I was needed on Earth. Didn't come alone, I was saved by a vampire." Kyra presses a button on her desk. "Benny, would you get some water for our guests?"

"Right away ma'am."

Kyra presses the button.

"Kyra. When you call me ma'am, it makes me sound old." She smiles at her guests. "What can I do for you?"

"My brother."

"My husband."

"Just on a case with my best friend and husband."

"I'll have a scotch."

"Easy. Easy! One at a time!" Kyra leaned back on her seat. "What is exactly going on?" She smiled at Benny when he walked in with a cart. "Thank you Benny."

"Madam." He nods at Kyra and her guests and shuts the door behind him.

"He's hopeless. Help yourself."

"Yeah I heard. I never met Michael, but I seen him in my visions." Kyra leaned forward. "Piper, I don't know where Sam is."

"He's here. I don't know where else he could be." Victor texted Piper, that he was stuck in 1930. Piper asked Paige to look in old files dating back to the thirties, sure enough, a 'Sam Halliwell' was a patient. He checked out after twenty four hours with a Eliot Ness. Once Dean heard that name, he immediately went searching in Sam's books in Lawrence. He managed to find a article about Eliot, but nothing about his friendships with Walter or Stephen. He agreed to go with Crowley who made an excuse that he wanted to see his homeland. "Can you use your psychic powers to find Sam?" She sagged when Kyra shook her head.

"I no longer have active powers. When I was brought back, my powers were taken away. I'm just a ordinary mortal now."

"Hmph. You were one of my best. I kept you in the Underworld instead of Hell." Crowley always liked Kyra. Unlike other demons, she was mostly neutral. She was one of the highest tiered demons there was, but she refused to do any evil on the surface world. Since she was gifted with visions, present and future, the Underworld allowed her to stay out of Hell. She was killed by Zankou when she abandoned her post, he was afraid she'll spill his secrets.

"Hell, smell. I wasn't supposed to be down there. Oh well. I'm here now, hopefully I go to Heaven the second time around. So, what can I do for you?"

"My brother."

"Sam."

"Oh here I thought you were here to find out where the nephilim went." Kyra smiles seeing everyone's expression.

"Jack?" Dean knew he vanished, Castiel was looking for him.

"I'm afraid he is no longer on this Earth."

"Huh?" As worried as Piper was about Sam, the news about Jack made everyone look up.

"And Grace?" Dean thought about her everyday.

"I don't have my visions anymore, but I do have spies. The two nephilims, they left when they heard their calls." Kyra was friends with a few demons, the two that were loyal to her told them what they found out. "The boy, he went to another world, the girl, she was taken by a Goddess."

"What? Are they still alive?" Dean, he was friends with Jack, and loved Grace as his own.

"I don't know. Demons cannot cross to other worlds. Plus they are scared of the Goddess." Kyra knew that God was destroying worlds, but she didn't know who the Woman was. Gods's wife? Relative? She may never find out.

"Look, you sent me a email about my husband." Piper was getting impatient.

"Oh yes. Sam, he is in the Underworld."

"Is he alive?" He better be. Dean will kill anyone that hurts his brother.

"He's in a frozen state."

"The hell does that mean?"

"It means Sam is a prisoner of Burke. He was one of my demonic bounty hunters." Crowley no longer had his Throne, he was forced to run when the Princes came back. "You want him back, be smart about it. Burke works for the four Princes."

"Fine." Piper didn't care. That was her husband. "Where do I start?"

"Piper, even with Charmed Ones, plus the Winchester here, it won't be easy to get to Burke, or his lair. You need a plan." Kyra knew the Princes, they got their positions by being smart. Lucifer made sure he trained them well.

"Whatever it takes." Piper didn't care anymore. "Dean?"

"Sorry Babe." He looked at his wife. Jenna forced herself not to roll her eyes.

"I can stay here and do research or something." Jenna was a good hunter, but this was too much for her.

"I'm gonna stay here and catch up with the lovely Kyra here." Crowley always liked her, she refused to do evil in Hell. Usually demons like her annoyed Crowley, but her gifts made most demons look the other way. He smiled charmingly at her, she was still beautiful, way more classy than her ancestor.

"Lets go." Just before Piper can stand up, Kyra stops her.

"Wait!"

"What?!" Piper was getting impatient.

"You need a third person." She presses the button on her telecom. "Benny?"

"Yes ma'am?"

"You are on assignment." She hangs up. "He's a vampire, but a very good hunter." She looks at their expressions. "Don't be a racist. He didn't ask to be a vampire. He didn't have a choice."

A awhile later all three were outside looking for the entrance to the Underworld. Both Piper and Dean were silent, neither knew what to say to the vampire. Kyra insisted he was good, just caught up with bad people. Dean didn't trust Benny, but he was determined to have a open mind. He didn't want to be a racist anymore, he used to hate witches till Piper and her sisters came along.

"You don't have to worry about me betraying you, I have nothing to gain from you." Benny felt the tension from the two humans.

"Well, I have my powers, try anything and..."

"I have my blade."

"I have my orders. You don't have to trust me, but there is a bigger threat out there. Even the monsters are getting ready to fight." Benny heard the whispers, every creature that was returned to Purgatory was training hard for War. Except the Leviathans, the majority of them were gone. The ones left behind were training for War.

"Oh no." Sam saw the dog too late. He runs to it and carefully puts it inside of his car and drives away. The nearest vet was thirty miles away.

They managed to make it to the Underworld, right away, all three were fighting demons.

"Argh!" Dean uses Ruby's knife to kill the demon. He saw Benny killing another using a spear, he claimed it was forged by a master swordswoman, it was created thirty years ago and given to Knox as a gift. He said the weapon can kill anything.

Piper was exhausted. She wished her sisters were here, but she knew they were busy, especially Phoebe, she was getting ready to head for medical school. Once she finished blowing up the demon that appeared in front of her, she gestures to Dean and Benny to follow her.

"Where is this demon's lair?" Benny heard of Burke, he was a collector. Many demons were, especially Charon and Zahn. However, he collected his enemies, rather than souls. He was very overprotective of his prizes, most demons stayed away from him.

"There." The Underworld changes every few hours, demons didn't want to be found. "Stay with me, or be lost forever." She warned.

"I don't believe this. Now what." All three were staring at shattered tubes. Every prison was broken, either dead demons or monsters were laying around dead, or were missing. Dean wanted to punch something. He saw a dead angel lying on the ground, her burnt wings fused next to a dead demon.

Piper wanted to scream.

Benny walks up to a tube. He saw the shattered glass and sniffs the air.

"There was a human here. He was alive."

"Where!"

"He left, long before everyone here was slaughtered." The smell was very faint, but Benny could smell the blood. "He must have broke out."

"Hey Everett. How's your dad?" Sam had no idea how long he was in this town, but he had no choice but to stay, his dog Riot's front leg was in a cast. He looked towards the air conditioner that was sputtering warm air.

"Still the same." His dad, the owner of the small run down motel was sick from his chemo.

"That sucks." Sam pulled out his stolen credit card. "Here is a new one, I canceled the other one you have on file."

"Sure." Everett takes the card. "I'm sure you would have left town by now." Kermit, Texas wasn't exactly Houston, most travelers passed by on the way to California.

Sam looked at the broken air conditioner.

"Yeah, I'm between jobs." The last thing Sam remembered was being in Idaho with Dean hunting werewolves. He and Dean agreed to split up with Dean heading back to Kansas to help out Bobby on a case. Sam had no idea why he was in Texas, he was on his way west to California. But he got sidetracked while on a hunt. His money ran out and had no choice but to work odd jobs to earn a living. "You have tools?" The air conditioner wasn't the only thing that needed fixing.

Piper was pacing in Kyra's office. With Benny's help, they knew Sam disappeared long before the demons were killed. But what they couldn't figure out, when or how Sam escaped. There was another nagging question. How the hell did Sam get here from the past?

"Sorry to hear about Moose. My condolences."

"Shut it Crowley." Dean warned. Already he had to hold back Piper who was ready to blow him up. Benny was back to his duties, training the senior class about hunting.

"Sam is alive. I can guarantee that." Kyra was no longer psychic, but knew the reputation of the Winchesters. She never met Walter, but he was a school board member back in the day. The Warren Women, Pilar and Prudencia, they came here to work as part time instructors during the winter months. Pilar's daughter Penny was a student here growing up, Pilar sent her here instead of Magic School. Like Piper, she hated the Elders, and didn't want her daughter being influenced by being their lap dog. After Penny graduated, she returned to San Francisco instead of attending college, there she met and married her husband at age eighteen. Their only daughter was born two years later in 1950. Penny refused to send her only daughter to Knox, she was afraid to lose her daughter.

Patty was here during the summer months, only because Penny was a summer school counselor. When her first husband Allen was killed in 1967, both women stopped attending, Patty was turning seventeen anyways, and wanted to attend college in the United States after her high school graduation. It was a shame, she was offered a full ride with all tuition paid for any course she wanted.

"Anyways, since you're here, would you like a tour? Your flight to America won't be leaving till tomorrow." Crowley was tied up, both Dean and Piper were pissed at his explanation.

"Well Crowley? You have two minutes before Sis here blows you up piece by piece." Piper froze Crowley, except his head. Benny, Kyra and Dean were trying not to laugh, he looked hilarious.

"I only run Hell. Whatever happens in the Underworld or Earth is out of my jurisdiction."

"Lame." Piper started getting ready to blow up his foot, when Crowley yelled.

"Wait! I'm telling the truth. But I can tell you what I know."

Sam woke up freezing. The last thing he saw was Eliot with whom he had to assume was Walter. He saw a woman there, but there was something about her that was strangely familiar. He saw a demon with them, the last thing he saw was Eliot and Walter waving goodbye. Next thing he knew, he woke up alone, glass surrounding him.

"Where am I?" Sam wondered. "Dean? Eliot?" Ugh. He felt like he slept for a year. He looked around. There were frozen demons and monsters everywhere. He jumped hearing a voice.

"Oh good. You're awake." A woman with a halo was talking to him. "Sam...Winchester? Did I get that right?" When he nodded, she looked relieved.

"Where am I?" Sam remembered nothing. He knew he was stuck in 1930, but couldn't figure out why he was there. Or how he got there.

"The Underworld. Time moves differently down here, you been here for a very long time."

"How long?"

Before the angel could answer, she looked up.

"You have to return to surface world. Your brother is waiting for you."

"Okay. Sam escaped. Where is he?" Dean demanded.

"Sam was gone a long time. Dean, you and him hunted for awhile."

"What? But how?" Piper was confused.

"Find Moose. He'll explain everything."

"That doesn't explain the dead bodies down there." Dean knew it was recent, maybe a day.

"Like I said. Time moves differently down there. It can go forward or backwards. Those demons and angel were dead for years. Don't ask me how. Even I don't know what happened."

Piper was stumped. She looked at Dean. Dean shrugged his shoulders at her.

"Excuse me? There are laws against stalking." Amelia Richardson was glaring at Sam who was fixing her sink. River Bluff was far from Texas.

Sam looked up and saw the beautiful veterinarian. The last time he saw her was back in River Bluff back in that clinic. He blinked at her.

"I'm the handyman." What are the odds?

Once Sam was done fixing her sink, he left and threw the keys back on the counter. He didn't want to be here, but until he got the cash to go west, he was stuck here. He just hoped he didn't have to wait long, his future was in California.

Kyra saw the witch and the hunter. Sam Winchester wasn't the only reason she asked them to come here. Luckily, Dean's wife was a guest.

"Would you like a tour?"

Sam was laughing as he drank beers with Amelia and Everett.

"So you quit your job, and moved here on a whim." Sam couldn't believe it. She owned that clinic.

"It's a long story." Amelia didn't want to talk about it. She smiled at the handsome handyman. Everett, the motel's owner son was flirting with her, but he looked too young for her. However, Sam, he was the perfect age. She tried very hard not to stare. He was sexy. He was more than a drifter, Amelia was intrigued.

Once Everett left to start his late shift, he and Amelia were talking about random things.

"So Sam, you are searching? For what?"

"I don't know. All I know, is I need to head to California." Sam didn't know why, he needed to be there. "The last thing I remember was hunting with my brother, then he went to Kansas. I went east..."

"Where I met you." That poor dog. Riot was fine now, he was sleeping next to Sam's foot.

"Yeah. Then I came here to assist some friends of mine, then I ran out of money. Until I make enough, Texas is my home." Sam liked Texas, but he had to go west.

Amelia takes a sip. She saw a faint outline of a wedding ring, she wondered if he was divorced or was a widow like her. She liked Sam, she wondered if he was ready to date. She saw Sam yawning.

"It's getting late." She hoped Sam asked to spend the night. To her disappointment, Sam said good night and went back to his room. "Perhaps another time." After her motel room door closed.

"Wow." Dean couldn't think of another word. "This place..."

"Man, imagine if I went here growing up!" Jenna was in awe. There was magic everywhere.

Even Piper was intrigued. She was only a witch for a few years, but the magic here was nothing she ever saw before. Even Magic School had nothing on Knox. She dived when a faerie flew by.

"Sorry!" He squeaked. "I'm late to teach my next class!"

"What faerie is a teacher?" Dean wanted to laugh.

"His class is a self defense course. He's a tough son of a bitch, he held the Black Belt in martial arts for decades." Kyra explained.

"Him?'' Even Piper couldn't believe it.

"Don't judge. His class has a ten mile long waiting list. He teaches hunters, but only the if they can handle him. His class is a honours class. You sign up, I guarantee you'll be a way better hunter. Your friend, Rufus Turner, he was his star student back in the day."

"Really?" All three couldn't believe it.

"I gotta send my kids here." Jenna had to, they needed to defend themselves.

"Anyways, if you come this way, I'll show you the alchemist labs. There, we train our young witches how to create potions and spells."

Sam was shopping at the local farmers market. He was halfway there for his trip, but he needed fresh fruit and vegetables. He had to move out of the motel, Everett's dad passed away and Sam was laid off. Luckily he had a new job, and another place to live.

"You got what what you need?" All she mentioned that her dad was coming to town to see her. Sam was moving in with her, but only as her tenant. It's been close to a year, but she was falling in love with the mysterious drifter.

"Yep." He paid for the apple. "So your dad, does he know you rent to a gas station attendant?" Sam managed to find another job, it paid a bit more than the motel, but only if he worked nights. Amelia when she was buying a house, she hired Sam to find her find a house, and when he did, she asked him to help her move in, with her offering Sam free rent for a year. Sam accepted, he couldn't find anything for cheap with his salary at the gas station.

"He knows I have a roommate." Stan Thompson, he won't be happy his only child is renting to a bum. Not her words, no one was good enough for his daughter, not even her late husband. "Anyways, all I need is a case of beer. My dad, he is picky."

"Say no more." Amelia talked about her father all week. Sam felt weird, like she was trying to show off Sam. She even bought him a new wardrobe. When Sam protested, she insisted it was a thank you for being so helpful. Sam thanked her, but he knew he had to leave soon.

"So whatya think?" Kyra wanted to offer them a scholarship. Not for them, but free tuition for their future kids. Dean and Jenna were no witches, but were great hunters. Piper and her husband Sam, their children will need magical training.

"Dean?" Jenna knew Dean didn't want their kids in the life, but they may not have a choice. This school will teach them everything they need when the time comes.

"I need to think about this." He knew Walter and Stephan were Men of Letters members or associated with them. Walter's son Henry attended here one semester. He read the files Paige sent him through email.

"Piper?"

Piper didn't answer Kyra. She knew Grams attended here since preschool. Pilar was probably afraid she'll end up like Pearl. It was way better than Magic School, but way more expensive to attend. Tuition here can rival most Ivy Leagues in the States on terms of cost. But college will be covered as well.

"I have to talk it over with Sam." Piper figured out what Kyra was proposing, it was a generous offer. But she didn't want to be away from her children. "I'm getting hungry."

"Say no more. I'll show you our dining hall. Today's lunch is lobster bisque with chocolate truffle cake."

All three's mouth watered. Jenna was a vegetarian, but if there was lobster, then their other menu items will be just as good. She waved at a familiar face. What was Anne doing here? Kyra smiled.

"She's our newest Liberian. We were hiring last year and when she sent her resume, I hired her on the spot. Her friend, Chris, he is our kindergarten teacher. Come on, order anything you want, its on the house."

Dean took Jenna's hand and hurried to the cafeteria.

"Dean slow down!" Jenna said laughing.

"We gotta get there before the brats get the good servings!" They were gone before Piper can blink.

"Is he always like that?"

Stan, he was grilled Sam all through dinner. Sam was mostly honest about his life, he talked about his father John being in the Marines, and how he and his brother were orphans. Stan was rude to Sam, he asked Sam what he was hiding. Sam was mostly truthful, but censored out certain events.

"Do you care about my daughter?" Amelia was getting the ice tea to go with the spaghetti and hot dogs she cooked.

"Of course." Amelia was a good friend.

"Do you love her?" Sam was taken aback at the question. Luckily Amelia came in with the pitcher.

"Eat up!"

Once dinner was done, Amelia, Stan and Sam were laughing at the childhood stories Stan was telling them.

"She waddled..."

"I do not!" Amelia protested. She was embarrassed, this was her father's favorite story to tell.

"You were a chubby kid. Anyways, she was so adorable, the cutest penguin in the second grade. She waddles on stage for her big debut, with toilet paper stuck to her foot."

Amelia's face was bright red as Sam and her father laughed. It was one of the most embarrassing moments of her life. Thank god Stan left the VHS tape at home. Sam's hand was in the table, she was dying to squeeze it.

"That was the end of her acting career."

Sam laughed. It was a cute story, he remembered Christmas Pageant, 1989. He quickly shoved that away, that was the most traumatic moment of his life. Thank god John found a job and took Sam and Dean with him. He quickly shoves that memory deep in his psyche. He just hoped Dean forgot about it.

"Excuse me." Amelia goes to answer her phone.

Stan was a nice guy, sure he was rough on the edges, but he was just a father that was overprotective of his daughter. He clearly approved of Sam, he appreciated Sam's honesty about his life.

"So Sam, like I was saying earlier. How do you feel about my daughter. She is amazing, isn't she? Beautiful, has a great career, works hard, and a has a big heart. Plus, she loves your dog." Sam looked up to see her giving Riot a treat. "Have you and her ever..."

"No sir. I treat her with nothing but the best respect." Sam liked her, but his heart wasn't in it. He appreciated everything she ever did, but he knew he had to hit the road eventually. He suspected she was in love with him. First the lodging, the clothes, then meeting her dad. Sam needed to shut this down before it went any further.

"Honey? What's wrong?" Stan saw her stricken face.

Amelia was holding her phone.

"It's Don. He's alive." Sam ran up to her before she fainted.

On the plane ride back, Piper had a lot to think about. Kyra offered free tuition for her firstborn, with discounts for any other children she had. The same deal was given to Dean and Jenna, both spent hours discussing it. Tuition was nothing to them, Jenna was rich. Dean refused to use his wife's money, and vowed to find the cash needed if they decide to send their kids there.

It will be hours before they land in Kansas, Piper closed her eyes and went to sleep. She wasn't worried about Crowley, Dean made him wear those handcuffs and tied him up in supernatural chains. No demon or monster will break him out. He promised to free him once the plane landed. She felt tired. She closed her eyes to the plane's engines.

"How long do we have?" Piper was bending over a map. They just finished blowing up a factory where the witch Tuatha was hiding. It was desperate times, they knew she was holding hostages, but nobody had the resources to rescue them. They were in a middle of war, every victory had to count, no matter how dark.

"Three days." Billie said in a grim voice. "If we stay up all night.''

"Dammit!" Piper swore. "We don't have three days. Sam and Dean, they won't be there long." They finally managed to track them down. Jenna was dead. It was her brother that delivered the grim news. "What can we do?" Her sisters, they couldn't help, they were busy themselves, they were about to activate the Nexus. It was the only way. They needed all five, but it was impossible to tell exactly when they all needed to be activated. The ones in Mexico and San Francisco, both Phoebe and Paige were on it. As for Prue, her and the boy were missing. Piper's assassins couldn't get there in time.

"I sent Bobby and Jody on it." Billie knew this mission would a failure. Dean went insane when his family died, and turned Sam so he won't be alone. Sam, he believed his wife was dead. But that wasn't Piper's body he seen, but a shapeshifter's.

"I hate this." Piper teared up. All that planning, and for what? Phoebe and Dean were right. Prue should have died years ago at that hospital. A hunter's funeral, Prue would have died with dignity. Now it was the end.

Piper was sobbing a day later. The mission was a success. Sam and Dean were dead. Bobby, usually a gruff man was holding her as she sobbed.

"You know Sam didn't want to live like that." Bobby was forced to kill both. They both killed every hunter that came with him, even Jody. Bobby gave all five a hunter's funeral with him burning down that building. He prayed hard that they were at peace. "C'mon, your kids need their mother."

Piper sniffled. There were lots of orphans, in the orphanage she ran, the kids called her 'Mama.' Piper wipes away her tears.

"Bobby?"

"Yeah?"

"Tell my nieces and nephews that Sam and Dean died as heroes." They may have lived as vampires, but they saved thousands before the war began. Even before Dean turned, he saved her kids lives. Sam, he sacrificed himself so Dean won't be alone.

"I promise." Bobby teared up, those were his sons. Maybe not by blood, but were family. "My grand kids, they will know their dads were great men."

"Piper? Piper! Wake up! The plane is about to land." Jenna was shaking Piper awake. "You okay?" Piper was crying in her sleep.

"Bobby?" She looked at Jenna. "You're alive?" She couldn't help but hug her. Jenna was weirded out, but hugged Piper back. She knew about those nightmares, Dean and Phoebe told her about them.

"See Dean, this is what I'm talking about!" Jenna knew she had no choice. Their kids were offered a deal of a lifetime. Kyra's offering, it was the kindest thing anyone offered Jenna.

"We'll see!"

Jenna shakes her head.

"Dean and I will give you a ride home. If you want, I can stay with you or I can send you to San Francisco. My treat. First class." She was interrupted by a flight attendant.

"Miss, we are about to land. Take your seat."

Jenna wasn't bothered by her black eyes. She knew not all demons were bad, Cecily confided to Jenna that the Soul Trader was giving her a second chance. She didn't have a choice back in her own time, it was the tyrant or an innocent child.

"In a minute. We'll find Sam."

Sam made sure his bags were packed. He liked Amelia, but she would never have a place in his heart. His destiny, she was waiting for him in California.

"Knock knock." Amelia was standing in Sam's motel room. "Your door was open."

"Hey Amelia." Sam was packing his bags. Even with that phone call, Amelia pulled Sam aside the next morning, and admitted she was in love with him.

"So what now?" Sam was sitting on Amelia's back porch, playing a half hearted game of catch with Riot.

"I don't know." Amelia's emotions were all over the place. "I spent all night being angry at Don. He died, I sobbed, I buried him in a empty coffin. I accepted his death after eight months. Then I found out there was a case of mistaken identity. He's on his way here." Amelia loved Don, he was the love of her life. But Sam, he brought out feelings she never had before. Don, it was familiar, safe. But Sam, he was intriguing, mysterious. Amelia, she realized she loved Sam. She takes Sam's hand. "I love Don, but Sam. I never met anyone like you before."

Sam stared ahead. Her felt her hand, it was warm, comforting. He looked over at his hand.

"Where's the ring?" His left finger was bare.

"I took them off last night." Amelia wore her wedding rings, even after she got that call and the military police on her porch. She took them off right after her father left. She knew. Sam was the one. She was holding Sam's hand.

Sam stared at their intertwined fingers. It felt nice, but it was wrong.

"I love you Sam Winchester. You are the one." Amelia leans forward to kiss him. When Sam pulled away, she looked hurt. "Sam?"

"Amelia." He pulls his hand away. "I have to go to work." He promised to work a double today.

"You're leaving aren't you." Sam, he moved out a day before Don moved back in. She knew the same day Sam left, that he didn't feel the same way. It was selfish, but she wanted to make sure Sam didn't have feelings for her. She dreamed that they were lovers. Sam told her that he wanted to be her, Don or no Don. 'I love you Amelia.' Amelia woke up crying. It felt so real. Especially the picnic they shared. Sam and her were celebrating their first wedding anniversary. Amelia wanted to tell him she was pregnant.

Sam turned around with a unreadable expression. She was perfect, Sam knew she'll give him everything he wanted. A perfect house, no hunting, a loving wife, children. Sam wanted what she was offering, but not with her. He hugs her as she sobs.

Amelia knew this was Sam's goodbye.

She sat in Sam's room all night, breathing in Sam's scent. She loved Sam, but loved him enough to let him go.

"Whoever she is, I hope she can give you everything you desire." She prayed Sam made it to California.

Piper was watching TV that night. She declined for Jenna to stay the night, she just wanted to be alone. She smiled at the story from Texas. A soldier that was killed in Afghanistan wasn't really dead and was getting sent home.

"Amelia Richardson, you lucky woman." She was envious. She changed the channel. Sam, he was coming home, Piper knew it. She called the airline, she was heading to California.

Sam walked for hours. Texas was hot. He needed a ride. He had cash, but gave it all to a starving man. The guy was so grateful, he donated all of it to a church. Sam always felt guilty having lots when others had none. He stuck out his thumb, and swore when the truck roared by.

"Thanks buddy!" He swore. When the truck crashed, Sam ran to the guy. "Oh shit." He was unconscious.

Jenna was looking up at the ceiling, she couldn't sleep. Sam was lost out there. Being careful not to wake up Dean, she called Phoebe and Paige. She knew Piper took her up on her offer. Her sisters, Piper needed them.
