San Francisco, California

Sam, he was staring at the Manor. He knew. The Woman was in there, waiting. But he couldn't go in. Not yet.

"Waiting for a invitation Sammy?"

Sam turns around.

"Dean?" He didn't move when Dean grabs him in a tight hug.

"God, its been too long." He tried not to cry. "How long has it been for you?"

"I don't remember." Sam said honestly. He was glad to see Dean again, but he didn't want to leave the steps, or knock on the door.

Dean looked up.

"Whatever your decision is, I'll be here."

Sam stared at the house for a long time. He knew it would be so easy. It was fate. His questions, all will be answered. But he knew, it wasn't the time, not until he proven himself. He looked at his brother.

"Before I go in, I need to prove myself. Prove that I'm worthy of her."

"Like a true knight." Dean watched that movie with his wife. "You sure about that? You came all this way."

"I can't and won't face her till I finish." Sam, he knew he couldn't. Not until he proven himself. "Is it alright if we went on a case?"

Dean was surprised.

"You want to go on a hunt? What about...?"

Sam shook his head. Instead he takes out a box.

"This is for her. To prove to her, that I'll be back. That is a promise I'll never break." He looks up.

'I'll never leave you again. Not after I done what I have to do.' He takes the box and puts it on her steps. He also left her favorite chocolates.

"Let's go."

Lebanon, Kansas

A elderly man was sitting in his bed, sighing over his eviction notice. He didn't understand, he had more than enough money to pay his rent for the month. He refused to ask his children for help, but looking around, he looked like he had no choice. He turned around when he heard a noise.

"Hello?" Weird. He went to pack his things when he heard another noise. This time it was louder. "Arthur?" When he saw what crashed though his window, he heard nothing but screams.

The manager and landlord unlocks the door after getting complaints from his phone. When he saw the dead body with a bleeding head, he runs out to call 911.

"I don't understand why we drove all this way. You're a witch. We could have saved the trip using magic." Dean complained.

"You are complaining about driving? Since when?" Dean loved that car. Luckily the drive here from Lawrence was close.

"Since Jen and I are thinking of...well. You know." He blushed.

"Oh really? You a dad?" He chuckled at Dean's red face. "Worried about the price of gas? Good for you! Am looking forward to being an uncle." They drove all the way from San Francisco, with Dean peppering questions to Sam, if he remembered being frozen, what Eliot Ness and Walter was like. When Sam explained he never met Walter, Dean seemed disappointed. He was curious what his past life was like.

"Same here. What? You forgot about that too?" Sam and his wife were talking about having kids.

"There's a lot of things I can't remember." He went on this trip with his brother to patch the holes in his memories. "I can only remember certain things. Like you. And her. But I don't remember her name." Sam leaned his head back. He traveled all across the country and couldn't ring the bell. "Until I remember who I am, then I could prove I am worthy of her."

"Don't worry. All that time in that box probably gave you amnesia. Our friend had that same issue a few years back. But, unlike her, we'll do this in real time, not a dream." They get out of the car wearing their FBI outfits. Dean looked up. "Oak Park Retirement. Maybe someday our grandkids can come to visit."

Sam and Dean walked in and showed off their fake FBI badges.

''Agents Osborne and Butler, FBI."

While Dean was talking to the manager, Sam went upstairs to the room where that dead man was found. Immediately, he sensed a heavy feeling. This death, it was supernatural in nature. Is this what Dean was talking about? Sam's a witch?

"Some witch." He couldn't remember how to perform magic. Good thing he had his equipment. He took out his EMF meter. "Just like I thought."

After Sam comes back downstairs, he fills Dean in.

"The thing went crazy? And yourself?"

"I'm fine. So what did that manager say?"

Once they left, a older woman was walking around in a lobby.

"It's late young lady." Arthur teases playfully.

"Not yet. What a nice night." Mildred, she loved her late night walks.

"It is. Shame about Harold." Arthur couldn't believe it. "Why would he do such a thing?" He couldn't help but feel guilty.

"I wish I knew. Well, I won't keep you. Good night!"

Arthur was about to say good night back when he heard a scream.

"You hear that?" The screeching was getting louder.

"I don't hear anything."

When Arthur looked up he saw a ghost. Before he can warn Mildred to run, the screaming got overwhelming. To stop the noise, he breaks the window with his head to stop the screams.

Mildred screams when she saw Arthur's dead body being fed by a monster.

The next morning, Dean was interviewing a shaken Mildred.

"He started banging his head against the window. Then he fell out." She buried her head in her hands. "You're never going to believe this. No one does."

"Try me." He nodded at Sam to look around.

"I saw a ghost. She killed Arthur. I know, I sound crazy. But it's true!" She saw the police exchanging looks when she was interviewed earlier. "Why would it kill poor Arthur? He was always so polite."

Sam notices a young housekeeper stocking her housekeeping cart. It was a long shot, but maybe she could provide some info.

"Excuse me." When she ignored him, Sam gently taps her on the shoulder. "FBI. Mind answering a few questions?"

Eileen Leahy looks at the agent. She saw a hunter when she saw one. But she also could feel magic radianting off him. Witch? Wouldn't be the first one she met.

"I'm deaf." She signed. "I just started my shift."

Sam signs back, although he only knew basic signs.

''Can you tell me who would hurt Arthur?"

"No one I'm afraid. Sorry. I wish I can help more."

"Okay. Thanks." He looked confused when 'Marlene' smiled.

"It's actually like this." She taps her chin outwards. What he gestured was a obscene word. Her sign was a thanks.

Sam blushed.

"It's been awhile since college. My former roommate was deaf." He signed.

"Not a problem." Eileen had her knife hidden. This hunt was hers.

Mildred smiles at the cute agent. She saw the wedding band. Shame.

"How long have you been together?"

"A few years." Dean was looking forward to going home. Luckily Lawrence wasn't a far drive.

"She is a very lucky lady."

Dean smiles.

"Thanks for your time." He knew what they were dealing with.

Once Sam came back down, Dean fills him in.

"A banshee? I thought they hunted only grieving souls. Neither Harold or Arthur were in emotional pain."

"I talked to Mildred, get this. Harold was getting evicted. He couldn't pay his rent. And Arthur there, he was stealing pension checks from some of the residents. He was facing a lawsuit."

"But why would a banshee bother with such weak cases? They thrive over emotional pain." Sam knew some lore about banshees.

"I don't know. But they hunt at night. Mildred, the woman I was talking to, her wedding anniversary is coming up."

"So?"

"Her husband died last year. She could be its next target."

"Feeding time is tonight then."

Eileen was watching the hunters. She "heard" everything they said. She read lips like a expert. Feeding? She knew witches changed into banshees on occasion. Unlike regular banshees, witch banshees weren't picky about targets. She had to kill the witch. But first, make herself suspicious, so the tall man would follow her.

Sam saw Marlene walking away in a hurry, leaving her cart.

"Excuse me. How well do you know Marlene?" Sam asks a elderly resident.

"Awhile. She is so sweet."

"I thought I saw her in this room."

"That's impossible Marlene is on vacation."

"Thanks for your time." Sam, he had to know what the woman's deal was. He went to the direction where she went.

Once he was inside the linen room, he took out his gun. He wasn't sure what he was getting into, but when he saw a sigil, he stopped in his tracks.

"I seen this before."

"Hey!" Eileen cut her hand and slams her hand in the identical sigil on the other side. "What? How?" The banshee, he didn't get caught on the sigil.

Sam looked at the sigil, then looked at the woman.

"I'm a witch. I'm immune."

"Liar." She was holding a golden blade. "No more killings."

Sam ducked out of the way, just when Dean came running in.

"Sam!" He went to shoot her, till Sam held out his hand.

"Don't! She's a hunter!"

Once they went back upstairs, all three exchanged notes.

"I never seen a witch resist that much magic." That sigil was powerful. Eileen never met a powerful witch like that before.

"He's married to...Nope. Sam, this is your story."

"I'm still figuring out who I am. So a banshee. How long have you been hunting for?"

"Since I was young. My parents, they were killed by one. I was adopted by a hunter. She thought me everything I know."

Sam nodded.

"She's still alive?" Dean asked.

Eileen shook her head.

"She died when I was sixteen." Eileen missed her mom. Cancer. No hunter ever escaped from it.

"Sorry about that." Sam sympathized. He and his brother lost parents too.

"So any ideas on who it is targeting next?"

While Sam and Dean were talking, Mildred and Eileen were gossiping about the two men.

"Gorgeous aren't they?" The blonde. Damn.

"They're married." Neither were her type anyways.

"Too bad. That Dean, his wife is a lucky woman." If only was she thirty years younger. She had her share of private parties with couples. She was a musician in her youth.

"I guess." She thought Sam was cute, but she knew automatically his wife was the jealous type.

"I'm gonna ask Dean to watch the sunset with me. You and Moose there, get yourselves ready for the banshee." Mildred knew about Eileen's day job, it was her that saved her life from that vengeful spirit a few years ago.

"Don't flirt too hard." Both were signing, this was a private conversation.

"You told her you were married, and she still hit on you? You sly dog." Sam teased.

"I always had a thing for Blanche." Yet Dean married a younger woman.

"Sophia was always my type." Sam liked her witty and sharp tongue.

"Dean! Come here and see this."

Dean was watching the sunset with Mildred. He felt her hand on his knee.

"Does your bride watch the sunset with you?"

"Jenna? Of course." Dean realized something. If he's always away hunting, he'll never have that normal life he promised her. She was a hunter, but she wanted to be normal. Plus the possibly of children. Dean made a decision.

Sam and Eileen managed to finish the sigils.

"Okay. Mildred, be careful. Dean, stay close to her."

"Ooo. I'm so lucky." Mildred holds his arm.

"And yourselves?'' Dean asked. He didn't mind Mildred's flirting, although he moved her hand away from his knee, claiming his wife was the jealous type. She wasn't, she'll most likely laugh.

"We'll draw the banshee in a trap." If only he knew how to use his powers. He had a method to destroy one, but didn't know how. Eliot showed him a spell.

"Sun is down." Eileen warned.

"Get ready." Sam had no weapon, but he'll protect everyone.

"The hell. Argh! Make it stop!" The screams. "It's here!" Dean couldn't help himself. He started banging his head.

Sam saw the banshee. But he saw something else. A shadow. Wha?

Mildred cuts her hand and slams her hand on the sigil. She nods at Eileen.

Eileen then stabs it with her knife, killing it once the monster got stuck on the larger sigil on the wall.

Afterwards, Sam saw everyone's relieved faces. But that shadow was standing there, watching them. When it noticed Sam watching it, it disappeared.

Mildred sighs as she watches Dean and Sam walk away.

"Their even cuter from the back." She loved Dean's bowed legs. "That butt though. Jenna is lucky."

Eileen laughed. She admitted, she loved Sam's butt.

"Imagine Sam's wife being pregnant. I feel sorry for her." She knew she recognized Sam. "I don't know if she can give birth to a moose." Piper was tiny.

Sam knew Dean was home with Jenna. He and Sam had a good talk. Dean was retiring, or hunting part time. He applied for the paramedic and firefighting course. He didn't want a boring office job, or work in construction. He rationalized he could still save people by doing something different. Plus prepare him for the future.

As for himself, Sam didn't know yet. He knew he had to find out what he was missing. He wanted what Dean had. But he had to finish what he started. He was a witch. Maybe he could track down his mentor. At least he remembered her name.

Rowena hated this. At least Fergus treated her with respect even though he hated her. But this was degrading.

"C'mon. The floors won't clean themselves. Chop chop."

"Tsk."

"What was that?"

"Nothing ma'am." She was on her knees scrubbing the floor.

"Good girl." She hums as she files her nails. "Emily? Fetch me a cup of tea."

'Sam. Help me.' Rowena begged. Hopefully Sam saw her SOS signal.

Lawrence, Kansas

Sam was laying in his bed that night. He was hugging his wife's pillow. Her favorite shampoo smell was on it. He saw their wedding picture as well as her name. Piper. But other than that, no memory came to him. Just her face. He couldn't go to her. Not until he figured out who he was. He closed his eyes and went to sleep.

"Sam!" Sam was reading the world's map. He and a few angels were searching for the Weapons of God. He had a few, like the Rod of Abraham. But he needed the second half. Without the entire Rod, he couldn't harness all of Its Power.

"What is it?" He saw Max Banes running in wearing that ring. He knew it was dangerous to wear, it was created by Hell, but in these times, anything and everything was fair game. Hell's demons were on Earth fighting as well.

"We found the next Nexus."

"That's great!" They knew it was somewhere in Tibet, but didn't know where.

"Yeah, but it is heavily guarded. Even with our witches, warlocks, and magicians, we can't get close. There is a barrier, it's immune to magic."

"Dammit! Then we need a plan B. Can anyone access it."

"No one with magical blood." Max tried. Even Alicia's doll couldn't go near it.

"Fuck. Okay. Any werewolves? Vampires? Shapeshifters?"

"Your brother is leading the vampires in Mexico. Garth, him and his wife aren't available, they are taking care of the injured. As for the shapeshifters, Bobby-John is trying to break the spell with his father Christian."

"Thanks." Max was one of Sam's loyal lieutenants. "Go. Take a rest. You're no good to us tired and weak. Eat! Take your husband and spend some time together." He knew Max worked hard, but his personal life needed attention too.

"Yes sir." Max saluted Sam and walked out. Sam was exhausted himself, but he was so close. He was determined to stay up till his wife walked in.

"Honey? It's time for bed."

Sam smiled at his wife and holds her in his arms and kisses her on the top of her head. He always loved that shampoo.

Sam's phone woke him up. Huh? He looked at the time.

"Oh crap!" He overslept. He never sleeps that late. He answers his phone that refused to stop ringing. "Hello?"

"Still in bed? That's a first." Dean teased.

"I'm getting up." He yawned.

"You do that. Anyways, I just got a call, a hunter called for a favor. Pretty easy, figure you can handle it."

"You're not coming?"

"C'mon Sam."

"Right." Dean was taking a break. Jenna was home.

"I need the keys to the Impala."

"Argh!" Why won't she die! Jacinta was a powerful witch, her mom and grandma were from a long line of witches. Every spell she threw at her for bounced back harmlessly. "That's it. No more nice girl."

Five minutes later was dead on the ground.

The woman wasn't foolish, she destroyed her body so she couldn't come back as a ghost. She stared blankly as Jacinda's ghost burned. She wanted to be a powerful witch, Hell is a good start.

Jenny Lake County, Wyoming

Sam throws down his duffel bag and sits on the bed. A small nest of skinwalkers was seen in town, the hunter that contacted Dean called for assistance. Apparently, he felt conflicted hunting his friend who was his pet dog.

Phew. That hunt was harder than it looked. Skinwalkers, it was unknown why they chose to live among humans, it couldn't be because they want to transform their masters. They were considered to be a sibling species to familiars, however only familiars only lived with witches. Dean just said they were squatters in animal form, which may be true. When he sat down to order his dinner for the night, he was distracted by the television.

"A dead woman was found dead this afternoon, witnesses say she was burnt alive with a fire projectile."

A fire projectile? Maybe nothing, but maybe it was a case. Witches were executed by fire throughout history. Luckily he had his disguise.

"Agent Cobain, Fire Marshal." He wasn't sure if a FBI alias would work, there was no murder here.

"What can I do for you Agent?" The Sheriff asked.

"I want to know what happened here." He saw firetrucks surrounding a warehouse.

"I don't know what to tell you. A witness say she was crouching behind some crates, reports say she was fighting with someone. Then she was found dead. No screams, no sign of a struggle, no holes from a stab wound or a bullet, just found dead a few minutes later by a worker, burnt to a crisp."

"Is the witness still here?" Sam asked jotting down notes in his notepad.

"Yeah, Arthur Simms. He's a janitor at the warehouse."

Sam approaches the janitor.

"Fire Marshall, is it alright if I ask you some questions?"

"I just finished talking to the police." He was shaken, Sam could see that.

"Just some followup questions. Before you found the body, what did you see."

Arthur sighs.

"This is gonna sound crazy. But it is all true." What he saw, Arthur will never forget it. "I was just starting my shift, it was supposed to be empty here today. While was outside, I heard yelling. Of course I went to check, but I felt like I couldn't move my legs. I was pissed, Saturdays are my lazy days, I usually just empty garbage cans and check the doors to see if they are locked. Then I saw a young lady walking in the building."

"Can you describe what she looked like?" Sam asked.

"Umm, about average height, blonde wavy hair, wearing red pants with a long leather coat."

"Do you know who she was?"

"Never saw her before in my life. At first I thought she was a worker. We hire a lot of women here. But she strolled right in, no card key, no alarms, nothing."

"Is that so unusual?"

"Yeah. You see, this is a highly secured building. A rat cannot breathe in here without proper clearance. But that isn't the unusual part. She wasn't alone. She was following someone."

"Do you know who?"

"Nope. Like I said, I usually work alone on Saturdays. No one comes in without signing in without a security card. Whenever I sign in, I see the employee number of the last person that comes before me. There was none. Anyways, I didn't think much of it, I figured she checked the door and left. Then when I was outside, I heard arguing."

"Do you know what they said?"

"Uh, let's see. I knew you were here, you think you can hide from us? I assume it was the leather chick. She was young. The other one, she sounded young, but she seemed older, like she's been around the block several times. She laughed. Then I heard a crash."

"Did you see anything?"

'Like I told you before, I was stuck. The first chick was arguing, like she was owed a debt. The second one, she said she doesn't work with amateurs. That's when I could move again." Arthur took a huge breath. "Okay. This is the weird part. I went to confront them, then I saw a fireball flying by a window."

Witches. Sam knew it. Warlocks usually used weapons, they siphoned magic and didn't want to use their powers against a witch, just in case a witch used their own powers against them. Demons maybe, but they killed, not argued. Sam had to ask.

"That fireball, was it the only one?"

"Nope. There were more. I got curious, but I wasn't stupid to go inside. Instead I used a fire escape to see what was going on. I saw two women using magic."

"Magic. Really."

"Like I said, crazy story. The women, they did things like in the movies. The fireballs were the beginning. I saw the one with the jacket blow a straight line of fire on the woman with curly hair. Guess what. She didn't burn. Then she flicked her finger. The woman with the jacket flew across the room into a set of crates. She used her hands to throw things at the curly haired one, none landing on her. The one thing, that hit her, a heavy machine, it cracked in half when it landed on her head. That's when I knew shit was getting real. Then I saw her opponent getting scared. She dived behind some crates. Lots of good that did her, she died right there."

"Can you elaborate?" Sam wondered if that witch was a Warlord like those siblings that tried killing Prue. They were super strong and possibly gifted with magic. Huh? Was that a memory? Weird.

"It wasn't murder. Leather Chick, she started coughing, then blood started seeping out of her ears and eyes. She coughed up blood, then collapsed on the floor dead. The curly haired chick, she stared at her, then the dead chick caught on fire. When Curly looked up and saw me, I ran." He was trembling in fear. "No way was I going to be flambé."

''Thanks for your time." Definitely a case. He was tempted to call Dean, but he knew Dean wanted to be left alone. He needed to call Bobby. But first, go the morgue and check out the dead witch.

Sam stared at the burnt corpse. Even with her charcoaled corpse, Sam saw fissures in her head, mortals cannot penetrate a skull, only ones that were super skilled in magic could. But before he looked away, he saw a remnants of a tattoo on her neck. Too bad it was badly smudged by the fire.

"Was she carrying any small items on her?" Sam asked the mortician. If there was hex bags, Sam would know.

"Nope. No phone, no wallet, not even any keys. Whoever Jane Doe is, she wanted to remain anonymous. She wasn't homeless, her teeth seem perfect, but until the dental records come back, I don't know who this woman is." He zipped up the body bag. "My report is on the desk. Just one question. Why is a fire marshal so interested?"

"There was flammable items where the body was found. None caught on fire." Sam was planning on heading back to the warehouse to check it out. See if anything stuck out. "Thanks."

Once Sam finished reading the report, he went back out to check out the warehouse. When he got there, he was surprised to see who was there.

"Jack?" He wasn't alone, a familiar looking young woman was with him. When she looked up, her face brightened.

"Agent." Jack wasn't stupid, he knew Sam was undercover. He pointed to his partner. "This is Agent Pfeiffer." He held up his fake FBI badge. "And I'm Agent Holland."

Sam held up his own badge.

"What can you tell me about your findings?" Sam asked. As much as he was supposed to care about this case, he was more curious where Jack was this whole time. Jack must have noticed, he nodded.

"It is considered a workplace accident, the witness, he is getting investigated for sabotage and possibly murder. I know he's innocent, I..." He was cut off by his partner.

"We have to report back. Agent, if you want to join us, we can submit our report." She gave Jack a sharp look.

"Of course." Sam had a lot of questions.

Once they were alone, and after Jack's friend put up special magic symbols, they started exchanging notes. But not before Sam asked where Jack was this whole time.

"Jack? Cas, Claire, they been looking for a long time for you." Sam had holes in his memories, but he remembered his friends.

"I rather not get into that. I'm home now, that's all that matters." He pointed at his friend. "This is my girlfriend, Ann." He smiled at Sam's surprised expression. "Yeah, we're going out."

"No, we are just friends." She corrected Jack. As much as she liked Jack, it was way too early to date. "Remember we agreed, can't mix work with pleasure."

"Of course." Sam saw Jack's hurt face, but Jack quickly replaces it with a smile.

Bianca smiled at Sam. Jack knew her name, but she preferred to use her fake name. At least for now. Thank god Chris was still in Scotland, he and Benny were on a case in Ireland. Can't let the Men of Letters take all the cases.

"Pleased to meet you." He looked closely at her. "Have we met? You look so familiar." Sam swore he seen her somewhere before.

"I have one of those faces." No way she was seeing Sam's sister in law. Jenna would blow her cover. She silently breathed a sigh of relief when Sam accepted her answer.

"Anyways. What did you find out?" Sam knew that this woman was killed by magic. But who was she arguing with? Even witches weren't immortal. Well, Rowena was, but she was still flesh and blood. The curly haired woman, she was invisible. Angel? God?

"We are hunting a witch. The woman that burned, she wasn't our target. The woman she was arguing was." Jack just followed what Bianca told him.

"She was bad news anyways, her and her mom killed people, especially witches."

"Okay, do you know who they were?"

"The one we are looking for is named Isabel. She's a witch, probably the best in the world. She's been going around killing darklighters and warlocks, plus several monsters everywhere she goes."

"Well, maybe she is a hunter." Sam was a witch, he hunted.

"That's what we thought too, except she took all of their hearts. Why would a witch take all of their hearts? To her credit, she didn't kill any humans, but until we figure out who she is, we're not taking any chances."

A witch that takes monster hearts? Why? Sam wondered about that. He looked at the clock.

"Did you two eat yet?"

After Jack and Ann left, after all three ate their burgers, Sam went and opened his tablet. He had to see how far these killings went. Hmm, not long. A few months. But the further Sam dug, he found something else. Missing people in the town of Rock River. The drive will take him a few hours, he called Jack to let him know what's up.

Rock River, Wyoming

Sam was exhausted when he pulled up. He forgotten how stiff he got while driving Dean's car. No way was he hunting tonight, he was too tired. Spying a bed and breakfast, he pulled up. He didn't want to stay at another motel.

"Sam? Sam Winchester?" A woman was smiling at Sam after Sam finished checking in.

"Hi." Sam didn't recognize her. She was smiling at Sam, but Sam didn't know who she was. "Forgive me. I don't recognize you."

The woman smiled.

"No worries, we met once. It's Tasha. We met years ago when your dad was helping me hunt a warlock."

Sam racked his head for any memories. Then he remembered. Tasha Banes was the witch who was running from a warlock that tried stealing her and her son's powers. Sam and Dean spent their time with the younger Banes twins playing board games with both twins flirting with Sam and Dean. They re-met again at their father's funeral in Canada. Sam, he was very glad Dean sent here him alone, his memories were slowly coming back.

"Tasha wow. You look great." Sam was smiling, but there was something off about her. Same with the manager of this hotel. They didn't seem normal. He brushed it off, he drove a long way and he was exhausted.

"Thanks. Shame about Asa." She teared up. "He never knew my children, his children. It was my fault I never told him I was pregnant." She quickly wipes away her tears. "But its comforting to know he is in Heaven. Someday we'll all be together again." She saw Sam yawning. "You look tired, my kids are coming tomorrow, we can talk during lunch. Good night."

"Night Tasha."

'Sam. Help me.'

Sam woke up in the middle of the night. That voice. It couldn't be.

"Rowena? Where are you?" He strained to hear her voice.

'Trapped. Please. I can't escape.'

Rowena was a powerful witch. If she was in danger, then she was being kept hostage by someone stronger than her. Sam had to help her, she was his mentor. He promised Piper he'll be with her, but he had to help his friend first.

"I'll help you. Promise." Sam will find her.

Down the hall a old woman was listening to Sam's conversation. A witch? Perfect. He can take her ring.

Sam finished talking to Dean, letting him know what's up. Dean sympathized with Rowena, but when he heard Jack was back, he told Sam to make Jack call him ASAP. Cas was worried sick about him. He said Castiel was obsessed with an actor named Alexander that he claimed was trapped in another universe. Even though Dean tried explaining they had twins that looked exactly like them that played fictional versions of themselves, Cas wouldn't relent and was obsessively looking for his fellow angel Anna who disappeared a while back ago so he could jump dimensions.

"Don't worry, I'll call Jack. He's hunting a case with another hunter, a phone call won't bother his work, I doubt his lady friend will mind. Yes, she's about Jack's age. I don't know. I suppose he has a crush." Dean, always obsessed with other's sex lives. "She is pretty, but in a sisterly way." She was attractive Sam supposed, but Sam thought of her as blood for some reason. "Yep, as soon as I get off the phone with you, I'll call Jack ASAP. Cas can join them on their case. Okay. Tell Jenna I said hi. Bye." Phew. Dean and his many questions. Claims he was done with hunting, but Sam could hear his regret. Dean did promise his wife to be home more. Especially when Dean was studying to go back to school. Hearing the desk phone ringing, he put down his cell after calling Jack.

"Hello?"

"Hi Sam? Did I wake you?"

''Nope. Just woke up." It was after eight. Sam was surprised Dean was up. Knowing his brother, Dean was most likely up all night, making up for lost time. "Brunch? Sounds good. I have to go for my jog, and have a shower. See you at ten." Sam got out of bed after hanging up after Tasha called.

"Thank you." After the man finished pouring a cup of coffee. He smiles at Tasha. "So what brings you here?"

"Work." Tasha was a hunter. "Taking a break for a few days before I go on." She smiled when she saw the two people walking in. "Max! Alicia! Come sit!" She waves over the manager. "Two rooms for my kids. Plus coffee, they drove a long way."

"Sam! Good to see you." Alicia looks around. "Where's Dean?"

"Yeah, your partner. Wait, are you here on a romantic honeymoon? Where's your wife? I like to pick her brains." Max was looking around.

"Long story." Sam couldn't tell them the truth. That he was trying to figure out himself. "Come sit with us."

Max was laughing along with his family, he clearly saw that their mom was fine.

"See. You worry too much. Plus Sam's here." His twin, always a worrywart. Brunch was over, and all four were talking and laughing in the parlor over wine.

"Yeah, but we, I mean I." Seeing Max rolling his eyes. "Was worried sick."

"You were on a case?" Sam asked Tasha.

"Not much. It was just some misunderstanding. Some kids fooling around with a book. I destroyed it."

"Really. What about that, you know?" Alicia pulled Sam aside earlier and told him about a borrower witch that may have killed some people in town. Tasha came here to check it out. Max insisted their mom was fine, but Alicia wasn't sure.

"Like I said. Just a prank." She immediately gets up to tidy up when Max suddenly gets up and grabs the wine bottle away. "Oh!"

"Mom. Are you alright?" All three heard a crack. Max was scared he accidentally hurt his mom.

"Fine. No, no. Go! Go on that date! Alicia and I will catch up." She quickly turns around and quickly sets her broken finger before anyone notices.

''Okay. Don't wait up." It was early, but Max's date was working at six. They were having coffee at a local cafe.

"Have fun!" Alicia calls in envy. "My brother, more successful with men than me."

Sam was laughing at their jokes about the perils of dating, when he noticed an old lady knitting in the corner in the next room. She was ignoring them, but Sam could sense magic radiating off her.

Miss Beverly was watching the witch. She knew he was married to a Charmed One. Hmm. She had a thought. Maybe instead of giving him the ring, she casts a spell instead. Reincarnation. Their future children will be very powerful witches. She can avoid Hell, and when she is reborn, she can start over as a Charmed offspring. Luckily she knew a spell, the demon isn't the only deal she made. She leaves the room.

"I'm going to check out the town. See if there is anything unusual."

When Sam walked outside to the Impala, he runs into Max.

''Hey. I thought you had a date." Max was just standing on the porch.

"My sister's car won't start. My car is on the fritz and I decided to ride along with Alicia to ease her worries." He looked up. "I don't want to show up looking like a drowned rat." Rain was on its way.

"I have the Impala. Get in."

"Really? Sweet. Before you go, give me a tour." Max loved cars. Especially old classics.

Once they arrived in town, Max was laughing as they pulled up.

''Holy shit. This car is badass." Sam asked him if he wanted to drive it. Making Max swear to not tell anyone, not even his sister. Dean would kill him. Not even Jenna was allowed to drive this car without Dean's permission. "No wonder your brother loves it."

"Yes he does. You'll be okay here?" Sam and him were now out of the car.

"Oh yeah. Can't have my date seeing me with another man. Good luck on your case." Sam told him he was going to check out those missing people.

Sam was walking around the downtown area. This place was small, "downtown" was three shops, a vegan restaurant, and a library. He saw Max flirting with a young Hispanic man, they clearly were hitting it off. When Sam heard his stomach growling he decided to hit that vegan restaurant for lunch.

Just before he went inside, he saw a missing person poster. Rick Walsh. Gone missing two weeks ago. Sam takes a copy. Tasha insisted the case was closed, but missing people was a case. Sam wasn't hunting anyways, but maybe the police needed some assistance.

When Sam got home he drove up and saw a man glaring at Sam when he pulled up. Sam just thought he was just having a bad day. Until he saw him standing by the cellar. Not thinking much of it, he gets out of the car and carries out his bags from the restaurant. He knew Alicia and her mom loved their desserts.

Later that night Sam yawned as he finished reading that book he found downstairs. He always loved the Grapes of Wrath. He was about to go to bed when he heard knocking. Even as Sam got up, the knocks never stopped.

"Coming, hold your horses. Max! What's going on?" Max brushed Sam aside as he rushed in.

"The cellar. Dead bodies. My mom. Sam. Please." He was shaking, and Sam could see dried tears.

"Okay. Give me a minute." Once Sam was once again dressed, he follows Max outside.

"See for yourself." No way was Max going back down there.

Ugh. That smell. Sam wanted to faint. He took out his gun. When he got downstairs, he wanted to vomit. There was two dead bodies, plus Tasha Banes. All three had their hearts missing. No wonder "Tasha" brushed him off. Whoever that fake was, Alicia was in danger. He quickly runs up the stairs.

"Max?" Dammit! He runs into the house.

Max was teary seeing Alicia's dead body. His fake mom's dusty remains laying on the floor.

"Why?" Once the witch finished offering her deal, take her ring, and Max could have his sister back. Maybe in doll form, but still Alicia.

"Long story. Take the ring, and you'll have your sister back." It was necessary. Her spell was gone, the page and ingredients missing. Isabel, she was here, she recognized that perfume. At least she killed her reaper. Now she can walk the Earth as a ghost till she found a new body. Luckily she knew how to possess and repair a dead body. "Last chance, that hunter is coming upstairs." She was dead before she finished her sentence. Sam was standing there holding a gun.

"Are you sure about this?" They were standing outside with Max insisting on burning the dead bodies. It was now early morning, Max sent Sam away while he sent that witch's body to another location.

"I have to finish the job. My family were hunters." Max was alone. He had his paternal grandma, but the people in his life was gone. Tasha, Asa, and Alicia. "Go. I can take care of things." Max watched as Sam drove off. He watched the Impala driving into the horizon till it was gone. When he saw Alicia's car pull up, he wiped away the tears.

"I did what you asked. Why would you want the witch buried under six feet of concrete? She should have been burned." Max ordered Fake Alicia to take her body and bury it under a construction site.

"She doesn't deserve to have that courtesy. Excuse me." He walked up to his new master. "So is what you said true?"

"Yes. I promise you won't see Hell. I been around a long time, and demons weren't the ones to create magic. You can use the ring as much as you like, but I warn you. Don't abuse Its power."

Max looked down at his hand. The purple ring shining against the car lights.

"And Alicia?"

"You'll be together again. I promise."

Once she was gone, Max used his new powers to burn down the house, but not before taking Alicia's and Tasha's bodies and giving them a proper funeral. He and Alicia II could start over, and when his life ends, him and the real Alicia could be reincarnated together.

"C'mon sister. Let's head down south." They had their home down south. Both were fluent in Spanish and many other languages.

"Mexico? We hadn't been back in years." Their mom's grandparents belonged in a coven. Their own maternal grandparents passed away in a accident years ago before they were born. "Wished we went to college in South Korea instead of hunting. We had our trust funds. But you didn't want to be away from mom." Alicia moaned.

"You know what? Let's go. We'll head to the nearest airport."

"Mexico?"

"Seoul. No time like the present." Max was laughing and joking around with his sister, but he wanted to be far away from here, far from the States. Especially when Sam finds out what he did.

Sam had one last stop before he headed back west. Rowena told him where she was being held. Back in Jenny Lake.

Rowena was watching hungrily as the two witches ate the meal Rowena spent hours preparing. When they pushed their plates away, she drooled over the leftovers. But was horrified when they both threw all the food on the garbage.

"What? I detest leftovers. Honestly. Emily, be a dear and throw this out. Don't forget to rip the bag open. The raccoons will be eating well tonight."

"There are starving people in the world." Rowena lectured.

"Like you? I appreciate the help, but you burnt the chicken. Next time lower the temperature by seven degrees. Maybe next time, I'll allow you to join us. Draw my bath, and maybe I'll order you a sandwich."

'Hurry Sam.' Rowena begged. She didn't care she was a slave, she needed to be freed before the First Witch comes.
