Phoebe was staring at the air in disbelief. All she was doing was taking a break, trying on shoes when a warlock attacked. After a tough fight, she threw a spiked shoe at his head, making in explode in black dust.

"That seemed way too easy." She's been a witch long enough to know things aren't what they seemed.

Paige just watched as he was electrocuted after she threw him against that broken fax machine after he hit her. When he exploded in black dust, Paige just blinked. She called for security on her desk phone.

"Security. We have a breach. Possible warlock, look for anything suspicious, but call me immediately before doing anything."

Piper froze the street before anyone saw her getting lifted in the air. In her shock, she blew up the warlock.

"Ahhhh!" Luckily she didn't break her ankles. "What the..." Black dust? "Nope." This was way too easy. She took out her cell and called her sisters.

Prue wanted nothing to do with what's happening, she had a new task. She left before Kit saw her.

Kit was disappointed that Prue wasn't around. She could have really used her help. Hearing her stomach growling, she went to the kitchen. Hopefully they had some Meow Mix, she was very hungry.

She was digging through the cupboards when she heard a voice.

"Long time no see." Kit turned around in shock.

"You." She knees him in the balls and runs. She had to run, if she dies, her charges will lose their powers.

"Ugh. Stupid cat. I'll get you after I lose this curse." Shadow only had less than the full moon. If he loses time, he'll be an ordinary cat forever. Three lives lost, six to go.

"Prue? Prue!" Where was she? Piper should have warped here, she drove here instead. Hearing the door slam, she rushes to the doorway.

"Piper! Thank god. I had the weirdest day."

Paige orbs in, she found a spell weeks ago in the observatory at work. It looked exactly like a whitelighters orb of transportation. Hearing voices she walks from the kitchen.

"Guys! Warlock attacked me at work." That was a mystery, no evil could walk in the grounds. "Huh? What's going on?" Her sisters looked like they got into fights.

Later in the living room, all three were exchanging stories.

"So you were attacked by a warlock, and he went poof?" Piper was on her way to a new age store when she got attacked. Phoebe was the next block over. No wonder he attacked so close.

"Yeah. But good news is, I got shoes at discount." Phoebe was admiring her new Louboutins.

"Then a few minutes later, I was attacked in my office." Her security team was in high alert, no one was able to figure out how he got in, spells were everywhere.

"That phone call we got two days ago. She was asking for help."

"Paige, when we got here, no one was here. Not even Billie. We searched this whole house, there was nothing."

"What are you guys talking about?" Phoebe was looking back and forth.

"Hannah never told you? Fine." After a few minutes, Phoebe sighed.

"And neither of you filled me in afterwards? Sisters." Sure she's been busy, but a text would have worked.

"Okay. We find this mystery woman, and figure out what to do." Piper's search for Sam would have to wait. "Any of you want to check out the Book?"

"Sorry ladies, but that would have to wait." The warlock blinks unto the room and uses his powers to throw Piper up the wall.

"Hey! Where did you steal that power from?" Phoebe hated warlocks.

"That's for me to know, and you to find out." Shadow taunted. He pops behind Phoebe and kicks her in the back.

"Oof!" As she is thrown behind the couch.

"Hey!" Paige picks up the fireplace poker and stabs the warlock in the back. As predicted he disappears in a puff of black dust.

Piper screams as she falls to the floor.

"Ow!" Thankfully she didn't break any ankles, but her landing was hard. Paige runs to see if she was okay. "I'm fine. Ow." She limps up in pain. What a time to not have the Holy Grail. "I need a doctor."

"You're lucky, we have one at work today."

Piper had a mild sprain, the doctor just told her to take it easy and to stay off her feet. Easy for him to say, he didn't have a pesky warlock on his ass. She was in crutches though, she was painfully following her sisters to the secret room in the observatory.

"Are you sure you don't want to pop in?"

"Very funny." Her sisters knew Piper didn't like using her magic for personal gain, she wanted to talk to Sam about starting a family. Jenna called, her and Dean were retiring from hunting for awhile, they wanted to start trying for kids soon. "What does the Book say?"

Paige was already flipping through the Book.

"Well?" Phoebe had a ton of homework to do, hopefully this didn't take long.

"Nothing." Paige was flipping through the pages. "Nothing about warlocks that explode into black dust. Weird.''

"You know, when you think about it, did it seem too easy?" Phoebe remarked. "Like he didn't care."

"Like he was seeking us out." Piper fought him twice. "Plus that call for help. What's going on?"

Paige was about to give her opinion when her cell rang.

"Sacred Meadows. Paige Matt...a new patient? Okay. Be right there."

"What? Now? There's a warlock out there!" Piper couldn't believe it.

"Well, until we find a clue about what he wants, we can't do anything at the moment. Besides, I have a HUGE essay to write, it's a third of my grade." Professor Slotkin was a hardass.

"Already? You just started!"

"Yeah, but this is Stanford. I'm almost jealous of you two, Piper, you know you'll have that restaurant someday, and Paige, you run this better than Natalie." Phoebe smiles as her sisters. "Plus Prue, she's great at freelancing. Her social media work got her gym new clients. If you find anything, let me know. See you."

"Yeah, I still have a job to do. Piper, rest that ankle. Ask Hannah if you're stuck. She is a walking encyclopedia on anything about, well everything." Hannah was human, but was around since the dawn of time.

Piper looked around. Hmm. She was determined not to use her magic for personal gain, but there should be something in here Paige missed. She could use that to figure out why Sam left her that spell. Kit was reading a magazine when Paige orbed in. Kit was around long enough to know if something was off. When Paige asked her secretary to send the newest client in, Kit follows the ex-angel to the Director's office.

"Have a seat. So, how can I help you. We are a private hospital, but can work with many insurance companies as well as affordable payment plans. Anyways, how can we help you? Possession, haunting, mind control?" Paige was confused when the woman smiled.

"You are so grown up! And your hair. Wow." The woman was staring at Paige with admiration.

"Who are you?"

"Someone from your past." The woman smiles. They were interrupted by alarms.

"What the." Paige picks up her phone. "Hey! What's going on!"

"We have a security issue."

Lawrence Kansas

"Really Jen! You know how fucked up our lives were growing up!"

"Dean! We don't have a choice! I heard you moaning last night. You dreamt about that again didn't you!"

Sam tuned out the couple. He only came over to ask Dean for advice, plus to fill him in about a possible unstoppable enemy. But he didn't expect to be caught in the middle of a couples spat.

"Sam! Your opinion. You want your niece or nephew getting caught off guard, or do you agree with me they should defend themselves." Jenna was glaring at Dean.

"Uhh."

"Sammy. Remember how screwed up we were growing up. Always on the road, never being in one place, losing friends, loved ones. Who makes a three year old hold a loaded gun." Dean glared at Jenna back. Dean was so young, but remembered Sam's lessons.

Sam coughed. He had that same nightmare again. This time, Dean killed Sam with a huge knife. Sam was sacrificed for a spell. Before he can answer Dean's phone rang.

"Saved by the bell." Sam mumbled.

"Don't you dare go hunting. You promised!"

"Shhh! Hello. Oh hi. Uh, huh." Dean leaves the room. Sam looked away in embarrassment. Jenna was glaring at Dean's back when he walked away.

"Jerk." She flops down beside Sam. "Sorry. We just can't agree on anything these days." She wiped her eyes. "We want to start a family, but with things going on, Dean and I wonder if we are doing the right thing. I need a beer. You want one?"

"Sure." When Jenna left the room, Sam turned on the television.

Sam was blankly watching TV when Dean walked in smiling.

"Dean? What's going on?" Dean was grinning. When Jenna walked in, he grabbed Sam's beer out of her hands. "Thanks babe. Ahem. Remember that entrance exam I took?"

"Yeah. No way. Congrats!" Sam was happy for Dean. All he talked about was retiring from hunting and having a normal life. So when is your first class?"

"Monday." He smiled when Jenna kissed him. Seeing her smile, their fight was forgotten and he starts tongue wrestling with her.

"AHEM! I gotta go, I have work to do at home." Sam needed to leave. Especially when they started taking off their clothing. "I'll see you around." Sam had to go home, no way was he watching this. Walking outside, he wondered if he should go home, or go on a hunt. Ryan needed help, Sam owed him one. Good thing Dean never asked for his car keys back. He went to meet up with Ryan, ask him where this familiar warlock was hiding.

Claire was holding a gun. What the hell was this? A big guy was throwing fireballs around the main entrance.

"Claire?"

"Mom get down!" She pushes Hannah's head down. Hannah couldn't help but tear up. That was the first time Claire called her that. "JD! Take her and put her in the observatory!"

"C'mon Mrs Novak." Hannah had no choice, she fought during the biggest war in Heaven, but had no clue how to fight in a human war.

"Honey, be careful." She prayed hard Claire was safe.

Both Paige and Kit were hiding under the desk.

"Can't you orb outta here?"

"Hey, I'm still figuring this new magic. My whitelighter powers were bonded remember...How did you know that?" Paige flinched hearing gunshots.

They were interrupted by Paige's phone.

"What! Be careful!" She hangs up, but before calling another bomber. "Claire! Tell my sister to stay with Piper!" She hangs up. "I hate warlocks!'

"Ugh." The warlock vanishes in black dust after he blinked in front of Piper.

Piper was standing there holding her crunches.

"Piper!"

"I'm fine." What was with this guy? Phoebe comes running up to her just as the alarms stop. "Why is that warlock keep bothering us?"

"Warlock?" JD rushes in with Hannah. "Those exist too?" The future was so weird.

"Yeah. Hannah. What's going on?"

After JD went to let everyone know that the coast is clear, Paige orbs in with her new patient.

"Phew. Sorry about that Katrina. Usually it's peaceful here." When Kit saw Hannah, she looked so confused.

"You're human?" Angels hated being on Earth. Hannah had no wings.

"What? How did you know?" Paige was looking at Kit with suspicion. "Who are you?"

"My name is Katrina. But you three know me as Kit."

"Kit? Kit was our cat's name. She ran away years ago." Piper was staring at Katrina now. "You knew what Hannah was."

"Yeah, she knew my Master."

"She was your familiar." After Hannah gave them a quick briefing, she excused herself to check on Claire.

"This isn't what I pictured us reuniting. But I only have so much time. You must protect me."

"That warlock. Why does he keep bothering us?" Phoebe seeing Piper getting attacked worried her.

"Yeah, he keeps blowing up, not even fighting."

"How many times?" Katrina asked.

"What does that matter?" Piper was getting irritated.

"Please. I have to know." Katrina had a bad feeling.

"Three from morning." Phoebe was the first to get attacked, then Piper and Paige afterwards.

"Then at the Manor. Stabbed him with a poker." Paige was proud of that. Two vanquishings in a day.

"Then here at the observatory." Piper was caught off guard.

"Then that makes five. Dammit." Katrina was afraid of that.

"What is going on?" Piper threw up her hands. She almost fell with her crutches, luckily Phoebe caught her.

"I was your familiar years ago. I was sent to protect you when you got into your powers." She showed them her collar with the triquetra design.

"Then in Oregon. A cat randomly showed up at my door after my parents died." Paige wasn't allowed to have cats, due to her dad's allergy, but after a cat showed up the night of their deaths, it gave Paige comfort. "Wait. Was that you?"

"Yes. You four needed guidance. I went to Paige first. Her powers were just emerging, and she had no idea. She was so young. You had your grandmother, poor girl was alone." She saw Paige tearing up remembering her parent's deaths. "She needed a friend. I stayed with her for awhile."

A Few Years Ago

Paige was numb after she got home from the hospital. She didn't cry when she got home. What she said and did was all her fault. She was staying with her grandparents at the moment, she was still a teen.

She was just sitting outside when she heard meowing. A small Siamese cat was rubbing her body in Paige's legs.

"Hey. Where did you come from." Paige never was allowed pets due to her father's allergies. She was extremely depressed and sat outside to get air. "Aww. You are so cute!" She smiles as the cat purrs. "I could really use a friend. God must have heard my prayers." She allowed herself to cry. That cat never left Paige's side that night, and lived with her till she moved away for college.

"You gave me comfort. You never left me till I moved away. When Granny told me you ran away I was devastated. I blamed myself for abandoning you." Paige was looking at Katrina with guilt. "I'm so sorry."

"Oh Paige." Katrina walks up to her and hugs her. "It was time for me to move on. You were ready to live your life. I knew you were strong enough, plus I had a feeling you'll find your sisters eventually." Katrina looked at Phoebe and Piper who were smiling sadly at Paige. Her story about her parents was so sad. Paige didn't like talking about it. She looked back at the sisters. "Did you know she named me Katrina? I had no proper name, all my previous charges called me Kat."

"Kat? We called you Kit." It suited her. Piper remembered meeting Kit.

A Handful of Years Ago

Piper came home from her job at the bank. She dropped out of college, and for what? Being a bank teller. She stares enviously at Prue who was on the phone with the caterers.

"Yes, we want some vegetarian options. Uh huh. Mmm, yes lamb is still on the menu, as well as the vegetarian dishes. Yes. Make *sure* there is no cross contamination, we have guests with allergies. OK. Roger and I will be getting back to you." She hangs up the phone. "Do yourself a favor. Elope." She wasn't even married yet and Prue was stressed out.

Penny Halliwell smiles at her granddaughters.

"Hi honey. How was work?"

"You know. Same old, same old." Piper didn't see Gram's hurt face. She used to share everything with her grandmother, but lately, Piper was shutting her out.

"Prue honey, you sure you don't me helping with the wedding?" Penny could see Prue stressed out.

"No. I'm fine. That's what wedding planners are for. Besides, didn't the doctor tell you to take it easy? You just came home from the hospital."

"It was nothing!"

"Bull." Piper almost swore.

"Language." Grams scolded.

"She's right. You were in intensive care. You had a heart attack." Prue couldn't believe how stubborn their grandma was.

''Mild heart attack." Penny corrected.

"Still, doctor's orders. Hey!" Piper grabbed the coffee cup away from her hands. "No caffeine!" She hands her a box of decaf green tea. "This is better for you. Plus, I bought no fat milk."

"Girls." Penny was touched. She detested green tea, but orders were orders. Hearing the doorbell ring, she put down the box. "I'll get that." She goes to the foyer and seeing Phoebe with two policemen, she sighs.

"Does she belong to you?" The cop on the left asked.

"Depends on what she did." She stares at Phoebe in disappointment. She was home for spring break from NYU.

"Just a misunderstanding! I was about to pay for them! They were on clearance anyways." She walked sulkily in the house. "Don't give me that look!" Penny was staring at her in disappointment.

"Shoplifting is a serious offense. You're lucky the store is not pressing charges young lady." The cop on the right scolds. "Next time you won't be so lucky."

"Don't worry officers, she'll *never* do this again." Phoebe may be eighteen, but still young enough for a lecture.

Piper smiles at the memory. She remembered those shoes. Phoebe felt so guilty after Gram's death, she got a part time job at that same shoe store. Amazingly the owner gave her a chance, she told Phoebe she was young once. She actually paid Phoebe with those same shoes as her Christmas bonus. Phoebe didn't mind, she loved those shoes and wore them everyday till they were destroyed by a monster.

Phoebe smiles sadly at the next memory. She was so cold to Grams. If she had known she only had a few days left to live, Phoebe would be more nicer.

"Grams! That camera is ancient! Who buys models with film?" Digital cameras were just released.

"It was on sale!" Penny was admiring it. "Besides, digital cameras cost a fortune!" She wanted to take pictures of her granddaughters. She needed a new picture to hang in the house. "Prue can develop this for me."

"If I have time." She was staring at the list. The flowers, the catering, her dress. So much to plan.

"I can't *believe* you are moving away!" Piper was annoyed. Ever since Phoebe moved out, it was just her and Grams, Prue was moving out in a few weeks.

"You can't expect us to live together for the rest of our lives! Roger and I are moving in together before the wedding." Prue couldn't wait. Finally a guy that was stable.

Piper felt like a baby. Prue was getting married, Phoebe lived in New York, Piper was stuck here with her grandma.

"Funny thing is, you complained about Prue moving across town, and you ended up moving across the country instead!" They all laughed. Piper blushed in embarrassment. Seeing her ring, she remembered the shine of the kitchen pot.

"Like this dear." Penny was showing Piper how to cook certain herbs. "Herbal remedies are different than food consumption. You can't just mix and match. It is a very well crafted technique." She lowered the temp and used a kitchen timer. What Piper didn't know is Grams was making a potion to bound her grand kids powers forever.

"You thought me so much." Piper measured the rosemary. She loved cooking, who would have thought that herbal remedies was so interesting? "Mmm. Smells good." Grams made sure it tasted good, she was mixing it with the pie she was making tonight. After tonight, Prue, Piper and Phoebe could have normal lives. She already was planning a dessert for her other grandchild, she was sending her a box of chocolates with her potion inside the filling.

Once they were done cooking, Penny asks Piper to sit down for their afternoon tea. Seeing Phoebe, Penny waves to her.

"Phoebe! Come join us." She and Piper had a assortment of cookies.

"Sorry, I'm heading out. Grams, I'm borrowing the car." She was embarrassed to drive the old station wagon, but Prue took the Miata.

"We have your favorites!"

Phoebe gave her a cool stare.

"Maybe another time." Phoebe kept complaining about the lack of good transportation. New York had the best options.

"Don't worry about Phoebe. Once she goes back to school, she'll be complaining about the dirty subways in New York."

Grams sighed.

"Grams, what's wrong?" Piper asked with concern.

"Darling, why are you wasting your youth on me? At that job you work at? You should be out there having fun. Meeting men." Penny saw a young man checking out Piper yesterday. He was wearing a Stanford sweatshirt and was standing next to a black '67 Impala at Piper's favorite coffee shop.

"Because someone has to pay the bills." She dreamt of owning her own restaurant someday, but with both Phoebe and Prue leaving, plus their grandma being sick, she was stuck. "Prue's getting married, Phoebe's, well, Phoebe, there's the mortgage, bills, plus the great benefits at work, someone needs to be practical."

Piper worked at the bank just for a while longer. Before Prue left Roger and Phoebe moved back in, Piper got that job at Quake. Their poor grandma, she passed away later that week. All three sisters were glad they took that last picture. Their last happy memory with Penny.

"Girls! Stop arguing!" Prue was accusing Phoebe of flirting with Roger, a claim Phoebe denied. Piper was whining that she was getting hot from the sun. "Girls." Penny said in frustration. She gasped when she felt a sharp pain in her chest.

"Grams?" Piper was the first to see her clutching her chest. Her other two sisters came running in concern.

"I'm fine. Really. I just need to lie down. But not before taking this picture. Stand by the window!" All three stood apart, but after Penny died, all three sisters came together magically.

"You three sounded close." Paige met Penny as a ghost, but didn't know her very well. She did respect the Halliwell Matriarch, she was very wise.

"Yeah she was." Phoebe missed her everyday. She was just a toddler when Patricia died, their mom, but Penny was the only mom she knew growing up. She wished she didn't take her for granted.

Phoebe was stuck making dinner, her two sisters were at the caterers having a taste testing. They invited Phoebe, but she declined knowing Roger would be coming along. She didn't want to tell Prue he kept hitting on her.

"Mmm! Smells delightful, what are you cooking?"

"My specialty, boiling water." Phoebe joked. She hated cooking, she burnt or undercooked everything she made, except herbal remedies. Grams always said she had a special knack not even she had.

Penny hugs Phoebe from behind.

"No one can boil water like you dear. Hmm. You know, let us eat something else for dinner tonight."

"Like what? Pizza, chinese, fried chicken?" Phoebe shut off the burner. She found a old recipe, it was a potion called Prevention. Phoebe had no idea what that meant, but her mom and grandma must have loved it, it was old and stained.

"Oh no. Nothing greasy." Penny hands over Patty's old diary. She saw Phoebe's face.

"This was mom's." It was dated a few months before Phoebe was born.

"Yeah, it was one of your mom's old journals." Penny teared up, it was written before she died. "There is a recipe in there, I think you should try making it."

"Mom's pancake recipe." At the time Piper was miffed that Phoebe got that recipe, and not her. She was the one passionate about cooking. But over time, realized Phoebe was meant to have that book.

"You made these?" Prue was in disbelief. "I seen you burn water!" She didn't see Phoebe's glare. Not at her, but at Roger. He kept winking at Phoebe.

"These pancakes." Piper couldn't help but shovel down the meal. "You couldn't have made these." They were perfect. Grams and her daughter made delicious pancakes, but Phoebe's pancakes were like heavenly clouds.

"I did." Phoebe was blushing at the praise. She didn't know why she was given the book with a pancake recipe, but seeing her mom's handwriting made her feel special. Like Patty was confiding a huge secret to Phoebe.

"She didn't need my help at all." All Penny did was help her with the stove, Phoebe did the work herself. The pancakes, they were more perfect than Penny expected.

"Really?" Her sisters eyes went big. "Wow. Then Pheebs. Promise you'll make these every time you come home." Prue wasn't even moved out yet, and already missed her bratty sister.

"I don't know how you made these, but if I ever need you, I'll pay you to cook for me someday." Piper and Prue ate at Quake earlier, it just opened. Seeing a help wanted sign, Piper was debating on sending a resume and giving her notice at the bank. Quake was hiring for a restaurant manager, same benefits, higher pay.

"Well, if you need more, I'll gladly make some more this weekend." Sadly that didn't happen. Their grandma died the next day.

"Those pancakes. I tried, but I can never get them exactly right." Piper knew the recipe, but didn't have the knack Phoebe had. She kept practicing though, she wanted to make them for her future children.

"Don't worry, you'll get it." Katrina tells Piper. She was no longer their familiar, but knew all their children will have guides eventually. She remembered trying to convince the sisters to adopt her.

"Why does this cat keep hanging around? Shoo!" Piper shoos the Siamese away. She liked animals, but since the family dog died, she didn't want another animal.

"So Piper. About the wedding." Piper was half listening, she was envious that she was getting left behind. Remembering that sign from Quake, she was about to tell Prue about changing her job when Prue asked her a question. "Piper. Piper?"

''Huh? Sorry. What did you say?"

"The wedding. You're still not depressed about me moving in with Roger?"

"Kind of. I mean. You're getting married, Phoebe's in New York living her life, and I feel stuck!" Piper was depressed. "I'll be left behind."

"Grams always said you need to live your own life. She never asked for you to stay home taking care of her. She was talking about renting the manor to new tenants."

All three knew about that, but Piper felt so guilty leaving the only home she ever known.

"Yeah. But Prue. Will things be different even if I change my life? What if I never meet Mr Right? Oof! Sorry." Piper didn't notice a blonde man checking her out. "Or my soulmate?" She admired the black Impala driving by.

Leo Wyatt always knew who Piper was, but seeing her all grown up, he couldn't help but stare at her with admiration. He saw the guy in the passenger seat staring at Piper when the car drove by. He had good taste.

"Sorry to interrupt memory lane, but as your ex familiar, I have to warn you about that warlock."

"Right."

"Sorry." Piper and Phoebe didn't realize how much time has passed. Talking about their grandma did that to them.

"You said five. What does that mean?" Paige was curious about that.

"A familiar is never meant to betray his witch. As far as I knew no one ever did."

"Then why is that warlock around?"

"You remember a warlock named Matthew Tate?"

"Who?"

"A warlock we fought years ago." Phoebe and Piper met him years ago when he accidentally escaped from a locket Prue accidentally opened. He stole magic from good witches by having them cast spells on him mimicking their magic by stealing them. They had to bring back their ancestor Melinda, who trapped him to put him back in that locket.

"He was bad news. Wait a minute. That's not him is it?" Phoebe hated warlocks, but Matthew Tate was one of the deadliest enemies she faced.

"No. But he was Matthew's best friend."

"Oh great." Piper didn't think she have anything to do with Matthew again. "What does he want?"

"To become immortal."

"Okay. And?"

"Look, he mentored directly under Matthew. He knows what Matthew knows. If it wasn't for Melinda cursing him, he would have killed your bloodline years ago. He was Matthew's back up plan."

"To steal our powers. Great." Just their luck Prue wasn't around. "Five? Why five?"

"And why does he want you dead?"

"Look, he was cursed to live his days as a cat. A fitting punishment, to be a servant to a witch. What we didn't expect is for him to figure out how to get himself out of it. His witch, he must've killed her or him."

"And yourself?"

"If I die, you lose your magic."

"Great." This place was supposed to be well warded against evil, but that warlock came here without incident. "You can't stay, if he can get in, then he'll find you easily." The wardings must have weakened over the years, Paige had to renew them all. That will take her days if not weeks. She had to ask Hannah how to renew it.

"Just protect me, and make sure he doesn't lose all of his remaining lives."

"He lost five, and needs to die four more times. How much time do we have?"

"Till the full moon rises high in the sky."

"Then why doesn't he kill himself?" Piper couldn't figure out why he needed them.

"He was cursed by a Warren, and his freedom is by a Warren. Remember, your magic won't work on him, so forget trying to use your magic on him." Dammit. So much for Piper's plan for freezing him all day. "You'll figure it out."

"Okay. Thanks for the heads up." Paige dials a number. "Claire, I need you to act as a bodyguard for a day. I'll be sending extra hunters to help you. Yeah, its for our new patient. Okay. I'll be right there." Paige hangs up. "Kat, come with me."

Once they were gone, they started strategizing.

"You know what? Let's go for lunch." Piper needed to get out of here. Talking about the past was depressing.

Once they picked out a random restaurant, they get joined by Shadow.

"What? You think you can hide from me?"

"Nice try. We're not killing you." Phoebe wasn't doing it.

"We're hungry, please shoo." Piper picks up the menu.

"Shoo? I hate that word. Why do humans insist on shooing cats? Why not dogs?" Shadow was getting annoyed when the two witches ignore him. "Fine. Just to let you know, if you don't kill me, then I'll do this." Before either could react, he grabs a woman and stabs her. "I can easily kill four others. Meet me back at your place." He pops out.

"Oh my god. Help!" Phoebe screams.

"Dammit!" Matthew was a powerful warlock. He had no qualms about murder. According to Melinda, he and his cohorts will sacrifice anyone for their selfish gains. "Pheebs?"

"I'll call Paige."

Once they got home, they all started talking.

"It was so fast." Phoebe hated losing innocents.

"I know." Piper never got used to it.

"Sorry to hear that." Paige was saddened to hear that. "Now what."

"You kill me again. Or I'll kill more, like your neighbour. Or even your husband." Shadow blinked in. He smiles when Piper blew him up.

"Piper!"

"I know. Skip the lecture." Three lives left.

The second one, Phoebe was forced when he grabbed her sister. She stabbed the warlock in the back. Two.

It was evening when he came back, he tried taunting the sisters, that if they don't kill him, he'll kill everyone they ever cared about, starting with Paige's charges. Paige takes a umbrella and opens it down his throat. One.

"That's it! We can't keep on doing this!" Piper was getting tired. "Is there is spell we can use?"

Paige and Phoebe thought of one, but death was way too easy. Especially after he killed two innocents. They discussed a plan, and when they told Piper, she grinned.

"Awesome. Let's set things up."

They left a note for Shadow, along with a bag of kitty litter as a big F-U knowing he'll take the bait.

"The moon is about to rise." They only had a few minutes, all three were kinda hoping he wouldn't show up. Unfortunately he blinks in.

"Miss me?" He was holding a gun. "Kill me, and I become immortal. I shoot myself, same difference. Your choice."

"Fine." Piper gestures for Phoebe.

Phoebe shoots him with a arrow, but before he dies, Piper freezes him.

"Paige, you're up."

Paige throws the potion. Once the potion splashes on him, Phoebe opens the spell they all wrote.

"Take this warlock and give him roots.

So he may never transmute

Forever he may stand, so he won't reconstitute."

Shadow smirks as he unfreezes, but not before seeing him transform into a tree.

"NOOOO!"

"You wanted to be immortal, there you go." All three were staring at the evergreen. "Not bad." Piper was admiring it. "Hopefully no one tears it down." They were in a park.

"Our nymph friends did say all life is reborn, someday he can contribute to the environment." Paige never forgot the fairie's words.

"It's getting late, lets go home. I have a huge essay to write." Phoebe drove, all three were exhausted from doing magic all day.

The next day after Paige told Katrina the news, she breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank you. For everything you did." She remembered when they finally adopted her.

"The funeral was beautiful. Who would have thought Grams was so popular?" There were tons of mourners including her ex lovers. Prue took charge of it, using some of her wedding funds to pay for it.

"It was." Heart attack. Piper forced herself not to cry. She felt so guilty, even though she knew her grandma was very ill these last few months.

Phoebe stopped crying a few days ago. Penny's death haunted Phoebe. Her last day on Earth, she told Phoebe she loved her. Phoebe never said it back.

"Pheebs? Are you alright?" Prue saw her blank face.

"Yeah. Just need sometime to myself."

She sat on the steps just sitting when she heard a meow.

"You again. Why do you keep coming here?" The cat came up to her purring. "Aww. You're so cute." Phoebe petted that cat for a few minutes. "Do you belong to anyone?"

"Phoebe!" Piper was calling her name.

"I gotta go. I'll see you later." She gets up and goes to open the door. As soon as she opened it the cat ran in. "Hey! Kitty! Kit!" Oops. Prue won't be happy, she disliked cats. Seeing the cat looking back at her, Phoebe knew she had to keep that cat.

"I can't believe you just walked in. We knew about skinwalkers." There was a entry about those creatures.

"But I asked. Several times. Your grandmother's familiar was expecting me."

"Grams told me he died of old age." Piper was devastated. She loved that dog, he always comforted her.

"He knew it was his time, he already has his new home. I was assigned to you after Paige didn't need me anymore." She had to act cute to get them to take her in.

"Well, you helped us. Thank you." The three sisters hug Katrina. "Now what happens next?"

"I can retire now if I wish. I filled my quota. I can remain human if I want. But I won't. There are new familiars out there that need training, witches aren't the only ones that need guides." She smiled at the sisters. "Take care of one another, especially Prue. She needs you."

Prue was standing by the water's cliff, just watching the waves. She had no emotions anymore, she had no need for them. She knew it was time for her to say goodbye, her sisters didn't need her anymore. She just had to do one last thing before she left for good.

Prue finished writing her spell. It was insurance, so they can harness their Ultimate Power. She had a dream, it was a warning for things to come. Prue felt no emotions, but felt an incredible feeling of dread. She just hoped this was enough. She made arrangements for her letter to be delivered when the time was right, now wasn't the time. She already had her goodbye letter, it was saying she was leaving for personal reasons.

"Ready to go?" Andy was waiting for her. He was the only one she trusted.

"Yep." She hated to leave without saying goodbye in person, but it was the only way. "I'll be on social media anyways, they'll think I'm on a long vacation." Prue had enough money, she can fake her online life thanks to BPrue who gave her rare stocks and bonds, and SPrue who gave her a piece of advice. To never take things for granted. She regretted her life, she was never close to her sisters. "They'll be alright." She nodded at Andy, she already subleted her apartment to a new tenant. "Let's go, before Phoebe finds me."

Before Andy drove away, she took a long last look at the Manor.

'Goodbye everyone. Take care of each other.' She watched the Manor from the passenger mirror till she could no longer see it. She stared ahead, she was never coming back.

Piper teared up reading the note.

"Why Prue?" She whispered.

I won't waste my times with sappy goodbyes. I just want to tell you thank you. Piper, Phoebe, Paige. You three, take care of one another, the real Power of Three. Being around you will weaken the Triquetra, it was always meant for you. I'll be fine, Andy will be with me. I'll be online, you can follow my Igram. Prue.

Piper folded the note. It was exactly like Prue to say goodbye in her own way. She held the note close to her heart.

"Take care Big Sis."

The Sisters are getting stronger, but they have a long way to go. Don't worry Piper, you'll see Sam soon. I promise.
