The Aftermath of the War of Heaven and Hell was long and bloody. Both sides lost so much, but both believed they were doing the right thing. Then the Crusades. The Knight Templars vs the Catholic Church, then Today. Everyone claims they are fighting for Me. Sigh. I seen it millions if not billions of times. Every draft I ever created, it all ends the same.

Everyone claims they are are on My Side. Whether it's the priests of the Earth, the cult leaders that claim they are My Voice, or the endless churches that fight among themselves, none tell the truth.

I Don't Care.

I'm Old, I'm Weary, but I cannot stop what's Coming. I told Metatron in one world that I didn't mind stepping aside and letting Sis take over. Amara has Her issues like everyone else, but She is new to the world(s) and She likes what I created. Heck, She even fell in love with Dean Winchester 1.

But in the first time since forever, everything I ever created is in danger. Not even the Empty is safe. Amara, Myself, I don't know if We can win this time. Last time, it was close. Very close. Both of Us, It nearly wiped Us out of Existence.

You are probably wondering, why don't I stop It?

The Truth is, I can't.

If I interfere, and stop what's going on, It will be disastrous. The only thing I can do is watch. Amara/Darkness. She forgot. Goddess, She saw nothing, Old Death, He wasn't there. The only One that knows is The Empty. It watches over Its sleeping inhabitants, and desires Its sleep. But It hears Its screams. It agreed to fool New Death.

I want Sam and Dean and everyone to think I'm The Monster. That I'm a cruel, cruel, capricious God.

No one should know the Truth. But Magic World, Its location is adjacent to The Prison. That why everyone is getting ready to fight. They could hear It.

Heaven, Hell, Earth. They are training hard. That Book I didn't write. I'm curious on how It will end.

I did keep my promise to My Sister. The Three, I will make sure they are safe. However, the mirrors I put up, they will last only for so long. Their reflections, they fooled Death, but didn't fool Amara. I need a better mirror. Maybe a invisible shield.

I'm keeping My fingers crossed. Sam, Dean, Piper, Phoebe, Paige, everyone. Good luck.

Chris cuts off the vampire's head. He nodded at Benny who nods at him.

"That should be the last one." Chris didn't mind vampires, he preferred that to those beasts they were fighting in the future.

"You know brother, you fought well." Benny looked at him curiously. "You are not from around here aren't you."

"Nope. My home, it was destroyed." Chris' home was a shack, but so was everyone's. Heaven, Hell, neither had a good home either.

"I'm sorry." Benny, he lost his years ago when he became a vampire. His family, he refused to see them. Even now he stays away from his only living relative, he is afraid to put her on danger.

"Anyways." Chris puts away his machete. "What's our next orders?" Kyra was pretty strict, but was a great leader. Her students loved her.

"Nothing yet." They were in the States, they were searching for a rare artifact. Kyra's friend, the swordswoman Glynnis needed it to finish a weapon she started. She said it would be the most powerful sword in existence, however it can only be carried by a divine being such as a angel or whitelighter. They searched all around the world, always being careful about being spotted by the British Men of Letters and Michael's angels. Even with Chris' future knowledge, he had no clue what that sword was. Hopefully they found it, he didn't want to to lose the woman he left behind.

Once they were back in their motel room, Benny went out to scout for anything unusual and to visit some old friends. Chris stayed behind, he was exhausted from hunting. Those vampires, they were vicious, especially towards Benny. Chris had to protect Benny, he was one of the lieutenants in the war. He was the one that helped find that Nexus in Mexico.

Chris stripped off his clothes, and took out everything in his pockets. When he took out the diamond ring, memories came back to him.

He smiled at her expression. She had two hands over her mouth.

"Will you marry me?" She had two tears running down her face.

"Now?" They were 'their' spot, a park in their hometown of Lawrence. It was in ruins, the sky grey and dark, but neither cared.

"Why not. The world may be broken, but my heart isn't." He slipped the ring on her ring finger.

"Yes." She smiles as he takes her in his arms. Seeing a drone, she pushes Chris away and shoots at the machine using her late uncle's gun. "Mind your own business!" She scolded. She shot at it a few times till it was destroyed.

"I think it's dead." Chris deadpans.

"Can't be too careful." Those drones, they hunt witches. Chris was mortal, but she was not. "I don't want to be burned. Beatrice, she was executed."

"I know. I'll protect you."

Chris sighs as he puts down the ring. He just hoped that he succeeded in his quest, he promised her that he'll bring a brighter future.

Once Chris finished his shower, he texted Bianca.

"How's things with Jack?" He was glad Jack was back, he and Bianca were getting worried. They needed him. He may be the key to saving everything.

"Last I heard he went to Lawrence." Sam and Dean lived there, they were worried about Jack. Jack went to visit before he returned to California.

"That's good. So how was the mission?" Chris couldn't come, he was busy with his own duties. They chatted for a few minutes till he got a notification on his tablet. Once they said goodbye, Chris opens the tablet. "Gotcha."

Benny came home a few hours later.

"How's Lenore?" She was an old friend of Benny's. Like him, she was a vampire.

"She's doing quite well. She and her nest are training hard." Benny heard of the vampire's fears. They too were afraid, just like Heaven and Hell were.

"That's good." Chris never met her, she died before the War. But her trainees were great fighters. "Taking a nap?" Benny was laying down.

"Just a quick one." He started snoring a few minutes later.

Chris put up some magical symbols to keep Benny safe. He didn't want him hurt, Dean would be devastated losing one of his best friends. He quietly left the room, he had to find out if that lead was any good.

Chris just hoped he had enough money. The person he was meeting, he had the Item that was missing since the Beginning of Time. He was waiting with no weapons, no potions, proving to the seller that he was unarmed.

He was just having a smoke when the guy appeared. Quickly stamping out his cigarette, he waits for the seller to speak.

"Got the cash?"

"Let me see it first." He wasn't surprised when the guy refused.

"Payment, now." Unfortunately before Chris could pay the guy, they were attacked.

"Nooo." He knew what those guys were. Unfortunately, he had no choice but to run. He heard the guy screaming when they burned him alive.

The Thule, they were formidable opponents in the future.

Chris ran back to the motel and woke up Benny.

"We need to go. Now."

To be safe, both stayed underground for a week. Once Chris thought it was safe, he and Benny came out of hiding.

"Those humans. They aren't just ordinary humans after all, aren't they."

"They are more bloodthirsty than any monster I met." Chris didn't think he'll meet them so soon. Dammit! "I need to get that thing back." If The Thule ever found out what that thing was, his mission would be over.

"Nazis." Benny wasn't a soldier in WW2, but helped the Allies with the war. "Humans can be more evil than any fang I met." Even his fellow vampires were sickened at what happened during that dark time. Humans weren't the other thing they experimented on, but no historian knew about that. "Just how?"

"Necromancy." Chris had to head North. "We have to go to Pennsylvania." There was a map there.

Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

Issac Bass was busy cataloging the contents in that book he spent most of his life searching for. He scoffed at the spell for immortality, those Nazis were desperate to stick around. He looked at every page, trying to find it, hopefully the Thule didn't find it first.

Outside Minsk, Belarus 1944

A teenage Issac Bass yawned in boredom. He quickly shut his mouth, he didn't want to get a slap on the head again. His father Ira Bass was telling everybody about the plan.

"I found him. That bastard Eckhart is in Vitsyebsk."

"That is a day away at least!" Normally it would take a few hours, but every member of the Judah Initiative was working in secret. Driving on the main roads were dangerous with the Nazi patrolling the roads. Everyone of them had to take different routes to get from place to place.

"I know." Ira heard the grumbles. "But we have our orders." Most of their leaders were wiped out, they were killed trying to help the innocent citizens escape from the evil genocide that was taking place all over Europe. The remaining members were working with the Men of Letters, they were keeping their leader safe in their secret bunker.

"Can't we use the Golem?" One member asked.

"It was destroyed in London three years ago."

"Damn." The London Blitz, it suffered a ton of bombings to weaken the Allies. "Do we have another?"

"I can create one. Isaac!"

"Yes Papa."

"Bring me my bag." The recipe for the Golem was inside that suitcase. Magic was illegal in Jewish culture, but the rules were thrown out during these dark times. Once Isaac brought over his bag, Ira commanded that his son and three others to follow him.

"We have a sleeper agent waiting for us outside of Vitsyebsk. He is a Men of Letters member."

"Is it that American?" Walter Winchester, he helped out the Allies.

"I don't know. But our sources, they said he was trustworthy."

Isaac wasn't sure about that, but what did he know? He leaves with everyone else.

It took them a day and a half to get had to take many back roads and rivers to get to their destination. They knew they'll be shot on sight by the enemy. Once they get to their location, Ira hands Isaac a gun.

"Here. You need to protect yourself."

"Yes Father." Issac hated guns, although he hunted with his family for food when he was younger. But they were in dangerous territory. Swallowing his fear, he gets off the boat.

"We're heading upstream. The American, he is waiting, just up those hills. Be careful Isaac."

Isaac was forced to go alone, his father needed those three that came along to help create a new golem. Sunset wouldn't be here for at least a few hours, no one traveled at night, everyone was afraid their enemies will spot them. Isaac was scared, but he had his orders. He walked up the hill, deathly afraid of what was waiting for him at the top.

He spotted a log cabin on top of the hill. But he wasn't stupid to go close. Who knows what's inside. He had no choice but to wait.

An hour later he was bored stiff. He saw nothing inside, not even light. He was about to get up when he was tapped on the shoulder. The last thing he saw a shadow of a man standing behind him.

Isaac woke up with the sunshine streaming on his face. Blinking sleepily, he looked up and saw a outline of a man sitting across from him. Realizing he was tied up, he glares at the man and swears at him in Yiddish.

"Go to Hell Nazi Scum." He wasn't sure if they understood Yiddish, but he didn't speak the secret languages of the Native Peoples of the United States. When the man spoke Yiddish back, Issac didn't know what to say. But when he said the secret word, Isaac had to make absolutely sure that he was the real deal and not the enemy.

"President Roosevelt, his efforts to win the war is admirable. When he sent the troops after Pearl Harbor, he made sure General Eisenhower was well prepared."

Snort.

"That's what America wants you to think. Eisenhower is a good general, but it is his right hand man that made all the battle plans."

This time it was Issac that snorted.

"What about Patton?"

"What about him?" He sounded puzzled.

"I heard he has a death wish."

"What do you mean?"

"That his mistress is waiting for him in Scotland."

"Nice try. His 'mistress' is in Germany." That was the real code word. The mistress being his role in the war. No one knew what the Allies role was, but he was one of the keys.

Isaac smiled. This was the American contact.

"Issac."

"Henry."

Henry Winchester wasn't what Isaac expected. He was younger than he expected. He looked like he was his age.

"You in high school?"

"I was supposed to be in college. You?"

"Graduated last year." Isaac's father doubled up on his credits, Isaac graduated a few months ago. He wanted to attend college, but with things were, he doubted it he ever will.

"So what brings you here Henry?"

"My father, he needed a hand and I agreed to help. My mom wasn't happy, but it was either working with the Men of Letters or getting drafted." No one was exempted these days. Young men his age were expected to sign up. Henry looked over at Isaac.

"Are you..."

"Jewish? Yes I am." Isaac knew it was dangerous. If the enemy found out, he was heading straight to the gas chambers. Or worse. He didn't want to think what they'll do if they found out he was part of the Resistance.

"Then we must hide you." Henry was somewhat familiar with magic, but he wasn't that good with it. "Are you hungry?"

"Starving." Issac's stomach was growling. When Henry pulled out war rations his face fell.

"Sorry buddy, but a fire will draw the enemy to us like a beacon."

Isaac and Henry said grace first, Isaac and Henry may be at war, but they attended church regularly back home. They ate silently not talking for the rest of the day.

It was nightfall when they heard footsteps. Immediately Henry takes out a knife. Issac went on alert. He was no slouch, he knew many self defense techniques from the Men of Letters. Both may be young, but were willing to die to finish their mission.

Henry grabbed the person who walked in the door. When the person started swearing, Isaac immediately put his hand over her mouth.

Emilienne immediately kicks Henry in the shins, and punches Issac. She didn't know what to expect, but she wasn't going down without a fight. She fought against the two men for a few minutes till she hears a familiar voice.

"Emmè?"

"Issac?" Once her eyes adjusted, she looked over at her friend. "Where's your father?" Ira was supposed to meet her.

"He had another task."

"Tch. Typical man." She looked at Henry. "Men of Letters?" She says in French. Henry nodded. She never met any of the MoL, but if Isaac was with this American then he can be trusted.

"So did you find it?" She whispered.

"Non."

"We must hurry. If it is here, then we must get to it before the Germans."

Henry was looking back and forth.

"Pardon me. Is it the Hand of God?" He heard of Delphine Seydoux. Poor woman was killed by the Nazis on her way to protect It. Both submarines went down, the Object was lost forever in the deep ocean.

"We're not exactly sure." Emilienne was wondering what exactly what they were looking for. If It even exists. "But the Nazis must never get their hands on It."

"Let's go. My father, he must be finished the Golem by now."

Isaac, Emilienne, and Henry set out. It was dark as heck, but all three were grateful for the gloom. Issac had ton of questions, like why Emilienne was working for the Men of Letters. And why she putting herself in danger. As for Henry, Isaac wondered if he was sent here by his father like Isaac was.

"Isaac. Why do this?" Emilienne whispered. Her childhood friend, he was putting himself in danger. "Why leave France?" France was being occupied by Germany, but Issac attended school there.

"My father pulled me out." It was dangerous for Isaac to be in France, but it was suicide to be here. "I wouldn't be anywhere else." Isaac was offered a chance to flee to America, but he refused. Not when so much evil was going on.

"Shh! Someone is coming!" Henry saw a officer walking by. As tempting as it was to put a bullet in his head, he held back. All three nearly had heart attacks when he stopped in front of their hiding place.

"Heil Hitler." When he saw his fellow SS guard.

"How is everything?" The German soldier asked

"Everything is going to plan."

"Good."

Isaac was dying to know what they were talking about, but he wasn't foolish to speak out. The two pigs were talking and laughing quietly about their day. Isaac silently seethed with anger and hate. Feeling Emilienne's hand, he forced himself to calm down. Determined not to let his emotions take over, he forced himself to concentrate on his mission.

"Did you find the map?"

"Nein."

"Imagine if we found it? The amount of power we would have?"

"Like The Hand of God? Lots of good that did us. Gumprecht is dead."

"Just as well, he was a fool. Always chasing the skirt." They heard of Delphine. "But this new weapon. Are you sure of its existence?"

"According to our sources, it exists somewhere." Both walk away.

Isaac was wondering what that was. But he had his orders. Once they made sure the coast is clear, they move on.

"My goodness." Henry when he saw the Golem, he was in disbelief. It was HUGE.

"Papa!" Both Isaac and Emilienne weren't phased, they seen a similar golem growing up.

"Oh good. You bought the American." He nods at Henry. Seeing Emilienne, he shakes his head. "You shouldn't be here. It is dangerous."

"Delphine was my friend. She didn't back down from danger." Emilienne missed Delphine everyday. "My father is a member, but he is helping the Resistance."

"Very well." Ira knew how stubborn she was. Few women were Men of Letters, none were members of the Judah Collective, but their members were slim. Emilienne was a great spy. "Just be careful." A young teenager had no place here, but he had no choice.

"What are our orders." Henry he waited for this moment. His father refused to tell him what exactly what he did for work, but he promised Henry he'll start his training in two years. He had a long way to go, no person become full fledged members till after their thirtieth birthday, the rules changed since the War started. He was looking forward to killing his enemies, he hated what they were doing.

"Not to kill." Ira, he saw Henry's eyes. He was such a hotshot. No way was he turning Henry to the dark side. "You and Isaac. I need you to spy."

Spy? They came here to spy? Isaac was disappointed. He was looking for revenge on behalf on his fellow countryman.

"But Papa. I came here to fight. You wouldn't let me sign up for the Resistance."

"Same here." Henry was itching to sign up, but both Walter and Eloit made sure Henry was automatically disqualified.

"Enough!" Ira scolded. Both Henry and Isaac went silent. Emilienne tried not to smile. She knew Isaac was going to complain.

"The Golem here. He will be going to the camp." They managed to find a seamstress that was willing to make clothes for the large 'man.'

When the golem looked at Henry, Henry stepped back. Emilienne giggled. She met the previous golem as a young girl. He carried her and her friends around whenever her father and Ira were having their meetings.

The golem stared coldly at Henry. Henry swallowed.

"Don't be afraid. He is programmed to kill only our enemies." Ira assured. He takes out a map. "Henry, Isaac, come here."

"What about me?" Emilienne protested. "I'm just as involved as you."

"Fine." He waves her over.

"What are we looking at?" The world map was on the table.

"Remember the Hand of God?"

"That Thing the Nazis foolishly dropped for a pretty face." A guy remarked.

"Delphine wasn't just a pretty face. She was recruited by the Men of Letters themselves." Emilienne always saw her as her big sister.

"What about it?" Henry says in English.

"The Ahnenerbe, they found a map." The Nazi party, they formed a group as a team of archeologists to find rare supernatural lore. They were in the progress of finding the location of the lost Akasnic Records. They believed there was a tablet that had the location of the records, but it was lost over time. Those ancient mystics were believed to live in the lost island of Atlantis. What happened to them, no one ever knew.

"A map? What's so special about a map?" Isaac knew that the Nazis were trying everything to win the war. Even working with ones that they thought were beneath them.

"It's bad enough they found the Weapon. But we'll be damned if they find that stone." Ira had no idea of the stone's existence, but no way was he giving them any tactical advantage. "You three are heading to Iceland."

"Iceland? Why Iceland?" Emilienne was surprised.

"Himmler is sending a secret team there. I need you to see what they are looking for. Get there before they do."

Issac nodded. He was disappointed, but a trip without "adult" supervision is what he was looking forward to.

"You won't be alone, you'll be traveling with James."

James Haggerly? Henry groaned silently. He babysat Henry as a child. He was alright, but his version of a wild good time is listening to old radio shows. The Orson Wells show was alright, Henry listened to it every week till it was cancelled, nowadays nothing much was on radio except 24/7 news and updates about the war.

"Fine." Isaac never met the man, but Emilienne's father, Clifford Henshaw was his good friend to Ira. "When do we leave."

"Right now. The golem here, he is heading north to confront Eckhart and his men. We'll be following along to get the ledger." That ledger, the Initiative heard rumors that it is a magical tome. "Take your bags, you are not coming back here."

Issac, Henry and Emilienne head outside and got in the car. None of them knew what to expect, but they wave goodbye to Ira and everyone else.

Present Day

Isaac flipped through the pages. He saw names and dates of the members of the Nazi Party, but that's not what made his heart stop beating. He quickly takes the book and quickly hides it. He then returned the crate to the librarian. He knew he was being followed, but he didn't care. He had to make a call. First to his grandson, and to his American contact.

Once he left the voicemail to his grandson, he calls the contact.

"The Map. Yes. They have it. You must stop them." Isaac knew his time was up, but he had one last thing to do. He picked up the payphone.

"Sunset Manor."

"Room 48 please."

"I'm sorry, but Ms Henshaw is asleep."

"Just a message then. Tell her I will always love her."

Hanging up the phone, he walks towards the window. There was nothing but shadows outside, but Isaac knew better.

"Come in! Come in out of the cold!" He knew his old enemy was there. Torvald, the one guy that nearly ruined his mission seventy years ago. "You Nazi scum!"

The students scream and run away as the rabbi spontaneous combusts into flames. His laughter the last thing he ever said to the man outside as a big F-U.

'My life may be over, but you will never win.'

The angel hangs up the phone and gives a silent prayer to the rabbi's soul. She gets up to see Emilienne.

"I'm sorry. Isaac, he's dead." Emilienne never looked away from the window, but her reflection had a single tear going down her face.

"Can't be any more blunt sister?" Zadkiel scolded. His wings flapping as he flew in.

Jophiel didn't turn around.

"I made a promise to always watch over her." She and Zadkiel were one of the few that refused Michael's treatment. Both were the ones in charge of watching over the lesser classes of angels and were the ones that created the Whitelighters and Avatars. "As long as she is still alive I will never leave her side."

"Your love has no bounds." Zadkiel wasn't on Earth during WW2, he was busy working overtime in Heaven to greet those souls. The reapers were exhausted from the day to day work. Even after the war ended, he heard Lucifer was sick of the dark souls that greeted him in Hell. Jophiel lived on Earth, as the angel of beauty and wisdom, she chose to live on Earth after she was done her role during the Crusades.

"What do you want brother?" She put on the television for Emilienne, she liked watching reruns of 'I Love Lucy' on the classic network before she left the room.

"The Thule. They found the map."

"You know I don't interfere with human matters." Humans never changed over the centuries. No wonder their Father was ending Creation. "The so called Holy Grail? It was for nought." She heard It was on Earth, but no angel was allowed near It.

"You don't understand. The humans, they cannot get their hands on It.''

"On what?" Jophiel smiled at a blind resident walking by.

"The map."

"There are millions of maps." She kept thinking of Isaac.

"The lost Akashic Records." THAT made Jophiel look up.

"That's impossible. It was destroyed." Heaven was aware of it, but even they didn't know about Its secrets. Legends say it was written by God and His followers. "It was destroyed by zealots."

"That's what they wanted you to think. The ones that stole the treasure, they were afraid of Its contents."

"And how do you know that?" Jophiel stopped and looked Zadkiel.

"Not here." He doubted anyone human was listening, but he knew Michael had spies everywhere. He whispered in Jophiel's ear. "Meet me at the last river." Their secret place they played as young cherubs. That place was neutral. Magic was completely neutralized in that area, no angel or demon can use their power or fly. "Bring a picnic basket, we'll get hungry."

Once Zadkiel flew away, Jophiel returned to her desk. Her shift was ending soon, she had to return home to change her clothes. Once her shift ended, she returns to Emilienne.

"I'll be back." As usual, Emilienne ignores her. Once Jophiel left, Emilienne looks out the window.

"Issac."

"Why aren't we heading to Pennsylvania?" Benny asked. "That man was burnt alive." He heard about the Thule. Those monsters didn't just experiment with humans.

"Not yet." He needed to get that Item back. But he remembered something else. The Map. "We have another task to do first." The Item, Chris was taking straight to Gylnnis. But the Map, he had to get that back before anyone reads it.

Reykjavik, Iceland 1944

"It's so cold!" Henry shivered. His hometown of Normal, Illinois worst winters weren't as cold as this.

"It's not so bad." Emilienne seen worse in France. She'll take the cold any day. "Think of the air as crisp."

"She's right." James Haggerly says looking at the Icelandic port. "Iceland is quite lovely this time of year." He actually was looking for a mini vacation. "The hot springs. You should try them."

Issac wasn't listening. He was watching a young man silently. The man looked like he was in his twenties, he came on the boat the same time as the Initiative. Normally be shouldn't have been noticed, the town usually attracted tourists. However, they were in the middle of war. A young man that age was expected to join the army. Isaac quickly looked away, pretending to admire the sights. That man, Isaac was keeping an eye on him.

Once James checked everybody in, he told everyone he was taking a rest.

"Rest? Now?" They were on a mission.

"We traveled a long way. Our bodies need nourishment and rest." James been around for a long time, and was a soldier in the WW1. "I suggest you eat and relax. We'll be heading out early in the morning."

Henry wanted to argue, but he was exhausted. He did nothing but travel on his father's orders.

"I'm going to the restaurant to eat. You two want to join me?"

"You go ahead. I'm going to the hot spring." This hotel was equipped with one. Emilienne waved goodbye. Room service was offered anywhere in the hotel.

"I'll come." Issac was starving.

"Oof." Henry was getting frustrated. "So no ham? Or meat?" He tried ordering a steak, but food supplies were limited.

"I cannot eat pork anyways." Isaac looked at the menu. "Is there fish?" Once the waitress walked away he started asking questions. "So Henry. What's your father's job like?" He was very careful not to mention the Men of Letters.

"He worked as a librarian. Before that was in the army back in the day." Walter wasn't a soldier, instead him and his two best friends were working as translators and medics during WW1. All three were very young, but the Men of Letters didn't care about age. They were always away from the front lines, instead they worked as a support team. A man named Christopher Wyatt was their guardian. "Right now, he is fighting in the war." Henry missed him everyday. "At least he isn't alone, my uncle is with him." Eliot wasn't in Walter's garrison, but he was fighting along with the Allies.

"I'm sorry." Issac understood. He felt Henry's pain. His own father was in the middle of fire. As a member of the Judah Initiative, his life was in grave danger. They sat in silence till the food came.

Emilienne was relaxing in the spring. She wasn't alone a young woman was there with her.

"Enjoying the spring?" The woman asked in Dutch. She was holding spare towels.

"Ja." Emilienne answered back. "Can I have some orange juice?" She asked in Icelandic. She was glad her schooling was strict. The Men of Letters were very particular about their children's schooling.

"Right away." She answered back in that same language.

Emilienne closes her eyes in contentment.

"May I join you?" A man asked in Dutch. When Emilienne opened her eyes she immediately recognized a member of The Thule. Her blood freezing in fear, she immediately composes herself.

"This is the women's side." She said playfully. "I believe you are in the wrong spot." Some hotels were inclusive, this was not.

"The men's side says out of order. I won't be long, I have a lot of work to do." He says in a flirty tone back.

"Very well. But not for long. I am a lady." Emilienne hated the Nazi. They invaded her home in France. She moved over. She pretended to smile as he got in. "It's quite cold isn't it." The hot spring was refreshing, but her evening was already ruined.

"With the springs, the cold doesn't bother me at all." He smiled at the young teenager. "Torvald."

"Emilienne." She shakes his hand. "What are you doing in Iceland?" She was smiling, but her heart was seething with anger and hate.

''I could ask you the same thing. What is a French girl doing here? Shouldn't you be home?" He asked in a polite, but suspicious voice.

"My papa, he was afraid for me. He sent me here for my schooling. I have cousins that live here." She lied. She knew what Delphine did to seduce the enemy. Hopefully Emilienne didn't have to do the same thing. This guy was way too old for her. Luckily they were interrupted by the towel girl.

"Merci." She was about to reach into her purse when Torvald stopped her.

"Non. Let me. I'll have some of your finest scotch. Plus another juice for the young lady." He says in French.

The towel girl nodded, she thanked Torvald for the tip, but when Torvald looked away, the girl gave Emilienne a sympathetic look. She too knew what was going on in Europe. Emilienne silently thanked her for her thoughts. She wanted to run, but she was on assignment. Might as well play her role.

"So Torvald. What brings you here?" She asked drinking her juice.

"Vacation like you." He was smiling, but his voice was full of suspicion. He saw her traveling with the American and the two Jewish men.

"Kinda unusual this time of year. Why are you here? Shouldn't you be drafted?" Might as well be blunt, she had no idea what to do. Delphine was older and knew what to say.

"I was shot. Luckily damage is minimal. I will be going back, but not for another few weeks. For now I want to take a relaxing vacation, just in case." After thanking the waitress, he asked Emilienne if she wanted to go for a walk.

"I love too, but I have curfew. My papa, he sent a escort for me and my friends." She gets out of the spring. All she wanted to do is have a long sanitizing shower. "Thank you for the juice. Bonne nuit."

"Good night!" He calls back. Emilienne, she had to inform everyone.

James' face was grim after Emilienne gave him the news.

"I didn't think the enemy is here so soon. Be careful."

"What about Henry and Isaac?"

"I will inform them." He had his own room, same with Emilienne, but Henry and Isaac were sharing one. "Get some sleep, after breakfast we will be checking out."

"So where are we headed?" Henry was carrying his backpack. He hated to leave, he was getting to know the cute towel girl from the hot springs last night. Isaac kept teasing Henry, he called the young American 'thirsty.'

"Here." James pointed at the Icelandic map.

''That is far. Why there?" Isaac never heard of it.

"Grafarkirkja?" Henry had a hard time pronouncing the name. He didn't speak the Icelandic language, but he spoke Dutch to the girl he was flirting with last night.

"Just because we are in war, doesn't mean your schooling is over. Get ready, we leave in an hour."

Once breakfast was over, James and his "students" go outside and wait for their taxi.

Emilienne was enjoying the fresh air when she heard a voice.

"Leaving so soon?" Emilienne recognized that voice.

"Qui. My tutor, he is taking us on a school trip." Emilienne hoped she wouldn't run into that pig.

"Shame. I was hoping we can go on that walk. The Northern Lights are lovely at night." He said in French back.

"Maybe another time." She smiles daintily at him making him melt. "You take care, German soldier." She didn't mind the German citizens, Germany was usually lovely, but since the War started, Germany was considered an enemy country.

''Emilienne! The taxi is here!" James called.

"I will hold you to that." He takes Emilienne's hand and kisses it. ''I'll see you around.'' He smiles at the French teenager. "Have a safe trip."

Present Day

"Where are we?" Benny was drinking out of a blood bag, they stole some blood from a clinic.

"Columbus, Ohio." He knew someone was on that case in Pennsylvania. He didn't care who. "We need to check out an antique store." He knew what the Thule was looking for, Hitler was their problem. "There's something there, hopefully no one bought it."

They waited till nightfall, Benny needed his rest. Once they disabled any alarms, they sneak in the store.

"Dammit." This would be a problem. Chris was hoping to get to the object before anyone else. "A customer was here earlier." He hacked into the owner's computer. "She was a longtime customer of his, she bought a lot of Nazi themed crap." Chris hated the Thule, they were selfish bastards, they refused to help any of the resistance groups.

"Can we get it back? I used to be a thief back in the day."

"Won't be that easy. The buyer is one of the richest women in the country. Her home won't be easy to get in to." Chris would let this go, but what she had was one of the keys to get his treasure back. "Let's go."

Grafarkirkja, Iceland 1944

"A church? Interesting." Henry yawned. So many ladies here, he winked at a indigenous woman who was walking by. She smiled back.

"Is the oldest church in the country." James, he just hoped the Ahnenerbe didn't get there first.

"Why are we here?" It was getting dark, winter was on its way. All Isaac wanted to do is get his sleep.

"In due time. Come." James had to see if his contact was inside.

Jophiel was waiting for the humans. She was inside a body of a young man, she was waiting for her old friend.

"James!" He waved at him and his friends. "I thought you had stood me up!"

"You know I wouldn't." He walks over to her and shakes his hand. "Jophiel, this is Isaac, Emilienne, and Henry."

"Pleased to meet you." Henry says politely. Issac shakes his hand. Emilienne was blushing as she waved hello. Other than James, no one knew who Jophiel really was.

"So the map? They didn't come here yet?" Thinking of the Thule.

"Nei." Jophiel shook his head. "They didn't come here yet." The Stone Tablet for the Akashic Records, she knew the evil humans were looking for it. "You are early. The new moon won't be here till tomorrow." It was the only day Jophiel can hide his shenanigans from Heaven. He knew Naomi would be keeping an eye on her, she was very strict on how Heaven was run.

"Tomorrow? Let's just hope the Thule doesn't get there first." James knew Jophiel won't interfere. When he found out about the angels, he angrily asked why they didn't help when Hitler rose to power. Jophiel said her hands were tied. She felt bad for what was going on, but she seen it hundreds, if thousands of time on Earth. She still remembered her role during Lucifer's rebellion, she lost many friends. "You know a cheap inn?"

Once Jophiel gave them directions, she went and sat down on a bench. When she felt a presence, she turned her male vessel's head around.

"Hello." He says to Emilienne.

Emilienne had no idea why she stayed. The inn wasn't far, a village this tiny only had a few roads. Whoever this man was, he had this aura of something. Emilienne never felt so peaceful.

"Hi." She said shyly. She never believed in love at first sight before, but something about him. "Is it okay if I sit with you?" She blushed when he moved. "It's so peaceful here." She didn't know what else to say.

"It is. I always come here, it reminds me of my Father." Jophiel never met Him, but heard stories. She came here to pray.

"Your Father? The War?"

"The First One." She remembered hearing God Speaking.

"My condolences."

'Thank you." Jophiel wasn't sure if God was alive, or not, but it didn't matter. His Words, His Wisdom. She never forgot Michael's words.

"God has His Ways. Have Faith in Him." Jophiel took those words to heart. "My Father, He's around."

"When you miss someone, it seems that way. That they are around you."

"Mmmhmm."

Emilienne felt foolish. Why did she come here? She thought the man was cute, but he was clearly the man of the cloth.

"I should go." She turns to stand up.

"You don't have to. It's rare that outsiders come here. I don't mind. Truly." Jophiel sensed her loneliness. "Tell me. What brought you here."

"Everything." Emilienne started talking and never stopped. She told him about her father, how he was putting his life at risk, her country being invaded by the enemy, Delphine's death. She told the sympathetic man everything. How her fellow countryman and women were secretly fighting against the enemy. How scared she was everyday. "I feel so helpless. I can only do so much." She starts crying. "I pray every night, and never get an answer. God. He abandoned us." All those innocents. She didn't notice Jophiel's arms holding her as she sobbed.

"Shh. Shh. It's okay to be scared. Don't cry ma cheriè." Her fellow angels didn't give two rats ass about humans. But there was a few that cared. She knew there was guardians that watched over humans, but they were only there to whisper to be careful. Whitelighters, on the other hand. She and her brother helped create them, with the Fates watching them. She didn't move until Emilienne stopped crying.

"I'm sorry." She was ashamed. She spilled her guts to a stranger. She was embarrassed to find herself in his arms. She reluctantly gets up. "I should go back. It is late." The sky was darkening.

"I'll walk with you. It is dangerous in these times." She knew those dark humans were around.

Once they got back to the inn, Emilienne was startled when she saw Isaac run out.

"Emilienne! James! The Nazis took him!"

Present Day

Chris and Benny were sitting in the car outside the rich woman's estate. Chris used sleeping powder to put the gate guards in a deep sleep.

"So what are you waiting for?" Benny asked. "You know magic."

"It's not that. It's just that." Chris didn't finish his sentence. There was the woman. But she wasn't who Chris was waiting for. It was the mailman. "Benny. I need you to do me a favor."

"Anything." Benny, he wondered who Chris was. What he wasn't telling him.

"Steal the mail truck before it comes." Chris didn't care about the cameras. "Take the package meant for the woman, and leave. What she is waiting for, I can't let anyone take it."

"Sure brother." Benny didn't question it. He wondered why they were after a package instead of whatever Chris was looking for.

Chris, he hated dragging Benny around, but he had to get to this item first before anyone got their hands on it. The Weapon Glynnis was making, it was one of the two Weapons in Creation to destroy God Himself.

God wasn't the only one that knew how to make one of a kind Weapons.
