Dean was staring at the stick.

An hour later was staring at the same stick.

"I'm going to be a dad." Hearing the door slam, he walks out of the bathroom. He sees Jenna's face. "I saw, um, you left this in the garbage." Dean didn't know what to think.

Jenna stares at him with a unreadable expression. Seeing the stick, she silently walks to the living room. Confused, Dean follows her.

"Babe?" Dean was filled with emotions. He wanted to start a family, but was he ready? Was she? "Jen?"

Jenna was numb. She didn't know what to feel. Feeling Dean's hand, she looks up. She leans on his shoulder.

"False alarm." Jenna almost had heart failure, but remembered that she attended that baby shower with Piper. Her friend came over to use her bathroom. "I had a blood test. There's no baby." She didn't know to feel relieved or disappointed. She and Dean were trying, but she wasn't sure if she was ready. "Sorry." She was afraid to look up. Feeling Dean's hand lift up her chin, she shyly stares up.

"That's okay." Dean was relieved. He wasn't sure if he was ready yet. "We'll try again. That's our favorite part." He was kinda disappointed, he was planning on making a crib.

"Yea." Jenna felt numb. She wanted a baby. Didn't she?

Benny was shaking. He was holding a goblet.

"Will this kill me?" He trusted Chris, but he didn't know what this was. It looked and smelled weird.

"Your vampiric side, yep. But you will be fully human again. You can walk, dance, eat and live among everyone else. No more blood." Chris had all the ingredients, except two. "That's just a sample." He takes the goblet away from Benny. He knew where to get one ingredient, he needed the plasma from the vampire that sired him. As for the other, he knew Benny will refuse to get it. Lucky for him, Chris will keep that a secret. "Okay. There's a case."

"Sure brother." Benny didn't question anything. Chris was right about everything so far. "What about your item?" That treasure Chris was looking for, Chris and Benny paused on looking for it.

"It can wait. This new case, it's important." Chris used his phone to send a few texts. "Okay. Benny, I'm sending you to Oregon, there's some weird events going on. I won't be joining you this time, I'll be getting my thing back. Oh don't worry, you won't be alone, there's a few hunters joining you there." Croatoan, Chris had to see why those demons were using that as a test site. That virus didn't exist in the future, Chris had to know why. "Are you okay with it?"

"No problem." Benny wanted to help anyway he could. Chris didn't tell him much about his life, but he knew a hardened man when he saw one. Whatever he went through, it was clearly hard on him. He must have lost someone he loved. Andrea's face appeared in his head. Benny quickly shoves it down. Andrea was dead. "What town should I go to?"

Lawrence, Kansas

"You're leaving again aren't you?" Jenna was watching Dean pack. Normally she would have protested, but this time wanted to sit this thing out. She was feeling sick these last few weeks.

"Sam called, said he had a vision. You sure you want to stay?" He looked worriedly at his wife. Jenna seemed so different these last few weeks.

"I'm surprised you want me to come." She and Dean fought tooth and nail about her hunting. He and Jenna had a fight when he found out she was hunting with her neighbour. Jenna claimed she was tired of being left out, Sam and Piper hunted together, sometimes with Dean.

"Sis is coming along, she would love the company." Dean wasn't expecting that text. He hadn't heard from Pastor Jim in months. When he found out Piper was coming along, Dean figured to take Jenna with him, her and Piper were good partners.

"You guys go ahead. I'll keep an eye out." She saw Dean's worried face. "I'll be fine. Remember, we have our friend next door." Her friend was a powerful witch, she helped keep an eye out for anything evil. Like Piper, she refused to use her power for selfish gain, and only used them as a last resort. She preferred to hunt evil using her weapons, both her parents were hunters. She, Jenna and Piper were good friends. "Good luck." She kisses her husband. "I love you." Dean kisses her back. As usual, he didn't say anything back as Jenna expected. "Have fun."

After Dean picked up Sam and his wife, they were on the road.

"So this hunter, what's his name?" Piper was riding in the back, she was curious about this next case.

"Jim says his name is Benny LaFitte."

"Benny LaFitte. Oh yeah, we met him at Knox. He's alright." Dean still didn't trust vampires, but Benny proved to be trustworthy. He worked at Knox with Kyra. "Kyra says he's a good employee."

"You trust a vampire?" Sam knew Lenore from an old case they did years ago, plus helped save a vampire's son from being massacred from a zealous hunter last year. "Why?"

"I don't want to judge." Dean remembered his dreams. Monsters, humans, they fought side by side against the enemy. "We can't fight among one another."

"He's right." Piper was woken up with a late night call. Phoebe was crying from one of her visions. She dreamed that her kids were murdered by their enemies. The vampires that were protecting the witches were all slaughtered, and her kids were burnt alive. "We have to work together." Piper was shaken when she heard that. Her and Sam, they had to protect their future kids. "So which town is it?" There were two towns called Rivergrove in the country.

"Oregon. Dean, if you're tired, we can take turns driving."

"Fine." Dean usually didn't let anyone drive his Baby, but at the moment was pretty distracted. Ever since that test he found in the bathroom, Jenna was acting so weird. "First stop for food, no more stops for the next three hours."

Benny sniffed the air. Sulfur. The way the folks were acting, no wonder the people were acting weird. He knew he looked suspicious wearing a hat with sunglasses, but as a vampire, he needed his sleep. No way was he drinking any blood from town. He could smell the rottenness in the humans in town. Oregon was lovely, Benny lived here awhile back ago, but was driven out of town by hunters in the early nineteen hundreds. He needed sleep, he didn't care where.

"One room." He tells the bored clerk. "Thanks." Taking the key, he trudges tiredly to his room. Those hunters, they could knock when they get here, he was getting a much needed sleep.

Mark was watching the town. He saw that man pulling in, he begged him silently to turn around and get the hell out of town. He was terrified on what was going on. His times in the Marines didn't prepare him for this. He smiled and waved to his best friend. He had no choice but to kill him afterwards. He knew he had to leave, but not before killing everyone that was infected.

"That was a long drive." It took them almost two days to get here. "Why didn't we use our magic?"

"Just because you two can, I can't. Besides, Baby needs to stretch her legs." Dean needed that time to think. What was he going to do? He was thinking hard when Sam yelled at him to stop.

"Dean!" Hearing that, Dean slammed on his breaks. There was a man holding a shotgun.

"What the?" Dean didn't know what to do. He waited till the man walked up to him. Dean wasn't worried, Piper was with them, she can stop time. "What can I do for you?"

"There's a sickness in this town. I'm telling you to turn around." He wasn't pointing up his gun, but Dean could see a itchy trigger finger. Before Dean could say anything, Piper froze him in place.

"Piper?" Sam wasn't frozen, as a good witch, as well as her husband, he was immune to her powers. Poor Dean was frozen.

"There's something wrong." There was a heaviness in the air, Piper could feel it. She shook Dean who was asking a question to the frozen man.

"What is the..." He looked at the guy frozen in place. "Did you..." He hated when she froze time.

"Dean, there's something wrong." She unfroze the guy. Luckily he didn't seem to notice anything.

"Take your car and your friends and leave." He cocked his gun.

"Nice tattoo. First Sargent. Our dad was in the Marines." Dean always admired John's tattoo.

"Really? What rank?"

"Company you mean. Echo-2-1." He saw the man's arms relax. "May I?" When the man nodded, Dean took out his fake badge. "I'm Billy Gibbons, this is my partners, Frank Beard and uh..."

"Ann Lennox. US Marshals." All three hold up their fake badges. "Mind filling us in?"

"Marshals huh. I'm afraid you are too late. The town, it's under quarantine." This wasn't any sickness he ever seen. He used his former training to warn any visitors to leave.

"When did this happen?" Piper hoped this wasn't that sickness her sisters told her about. It was a global pandemic over there.

"A few days ago. Your friend, a FBI agent was here checking it out. A LaFitte."

"Yeah, they called for backup. The Marshals and FBI are working together." Dean lied.

"They should send the Army as well as the CDC instead. Look, I won't stop you from doing your job, but be careful. The people here, they are not normal." Mark was making sure no one got in or out. There was another way out of town, but it was being blocked by other volunteers. "Be very careful not to engage too much. Do your job, and get out. Call for backup." He waves them through.

"Thank you." Dean cautiously drives in. The town looked normal, people were going on about their day. But, all three knew it was all a ruse.

"Should we split up?" Piper suggested.

"We should stick together." No way was Sam leaving her by herself. "We should track down that Benny."

"I got a text, he's staying at the local motel."

Benny was drinking out of a deer corpse when he heard knocks. Taking out a gun, he cautiously looks out the motel curtains. Seeing three people, he demanded that they show their blood.

"Show our blood? The hell does that mean?" Piper demanded.

"I don't know." Sam saw some people walking by staring at them with curiosity.

"We don't have time for this." Dean used his knife to prick his finger. He then handed the knife to Sam and Piper. "What? You two can't wimp out now."

"Ugh." Piper grimaced when Sam pricked her. "Thanks honey." She watches as Sam lightly stabbed his own finger. All three hold up their hands. Once the door opened, Benny sniffed the air. He closed the door and untied the chain. Once he gestured for them to come in, he fills them in.

"You three. You shouldn't have come. There's something rotten in the air."

The other day Benny was walking around in town. He was sleepy, but forced himself to stay awake. To keep himself awake, he drank out of animals. He refused to hit the local blood bank fearing cross contamination. He saw the people, most smelled like death. Benny knew something was going on in this town, he just wished he knew what. He was nervous when everyone kept giving him a side eyed look, he wondered if everyone knew he was a vampire. To keep himself from being suspicious, he acted like he was here on a hunting trip.

For a whole day he pretended to hunt animals. With a gun anyways. He preferred to hunt with his own hands, it was faster and more efficient. He was drinking out of a rabbit when he saw two men chasing a woman.

"No! Get away from me!" She screamed. Benny was forced to hold back, he had no choice. Especially when he was so far away. But due to his vampiric senses, he could see and hear everything from where he was standing.

The woman was screaming, especially when one held her down as the other cut her open with a knife. When when her wound was open, the other cut open his old hand and bled onto her wound. Then after she passed out from shock, they calmly walk away. Benny waited till she was alone before he can approach her. But when he went to check to see if she was okay, the woman got up and started attacking Benny.

"I was forced to kill her."

"You what?!" Dean had no machete, but he had a gun. Maybe worthless on a vampire, but a kneecap should slow him down.

"Dean wait!" Piper held down his gun. She saw the brothers confusion. "Tell us exactly what happened."

"Wait! I'm trying to help you!" Benny couldn't believe how strong she was. She was screaming and trying to bite him. She had a feral look, like a rabid animal. She also had that rotten smell on her. Benny knew she was dead.

"I didn't have a choice." He saw the expressions. "She was already gone. If she was infected that fast, then others were in danger." Benny had no gun, so he and no choice but to break her neck. She died instantly. Careful not to get any bodily fluids on him, Benny hid her body in a dumpster. "We have to destroy her corpse. Plus track down the ones that infected her."

"Killing her? You could have saved her!" Sam was staring at Benny with hate. He looked at his wife to blow him up. When he saw Dean's expression, he stared at both with disbelief. "Seriously?"

Dean only met Benny once. But Benny proved to be trustworthy in the Underworld. Piper liked Benny, she said Kyra was a very good judge of character even as a ex-demon.

"Benny. What else can you tell us."

"You two serious!" Sam couldn't believe them. "He killed a woman! Plus who knows who's else!" Piper was asking questions. "You know what? I'm going for a walk." Expecting to be stopped or followed, Sam was frustrated when no one chased him down.

Sam was walking down the street. He refused to look behind him, he was hoping Piper and Dean were following him. He strained his ears for any footsteps, but hearing none, he walked faster down the street. Screw them.

Sam smiled back at a young man who said hello. He sensed nothing evil, whatever Piper was talking about, he didn't feel it. He was just strolling along till something caught his eye.

CROATOAN

Croatoan? Where did Sam see that word before. Roanoke. That lost colony from history. It was a historic legend. Sam remembered how historians tried to put together what happened. A whole town that just upped and vanished. There was multiple theories, one was they all died of exposure, but no bodies were ever found. The town was slaughtered by the native tribes in the area, others some say they died of starvation. But John always had another theory. That demons got them sick. But there was another more outlandish theory. That angels took them all as angelic vessels and scratched the word on the tree to throw off anyone who came searching. Whatever was going on, Sam would figure this out. He went to call Bobby, see if he had any opinions. But when he turned on his phone, there was no signal.

"Great." He mumbled. He went to send a text instead. "Seriously?!" The phone flashed with a no signal sign. Guess he had to find a computer.

"You're kidding me."

"Sorry sir, I don't know what's going on. But everything is down, including the phones. Must be some freak reception." The apologic clerk was telling Sam that he is was forced to close the cafe due to no Internet working. "Try coming back tomorrow."

"Thanks."

Sam decided to go for a walk. Why not. He told Dean he had a vision. But didn't elaborate.

A young man was begging for his life, that he wasn't infected. Dean didn't care and shot him dead in cold blood.

Sam was shaken when he saw that. He hasn't had visions for years. He called Phoebe and asked if she had visions. When she said no, he told his wife what he seen. Piper knowing how visions can come true, suggested that he call his brother. But, insisting that she come along. When he texted Dean, Dean said Jim was already on it. But for some reason couldn't come. He sent another hunter in his place instead. Why he trusted a vampire, he had no idea. Sam had no right to judge, he was a witch. He hunted witches before. He just wished he knew that guy's name, ask about the infection. When he saw Dean and Piper, he waves them over.

"What did you find out?"

"Phones are out. Same with Internet." Dean was frustrated.

"I tried orbing out. Magic is gone as well."

"You serious?!" Sam couldn't believe it.

"Watch." Piper tried freezing the street. Everyone went through their day like normal. "This isn't just a normal case."

"Benny says a demon may be behind it. Sounds familiar?"

"Yellow Eyes." Every vison Sam got years ago was tied to him. It lead him to his death. He was incredibly lucky, Lucifer brought him back. Why, he had no idea. "But why?"

"What's a good way to slaughter a town and get new souls?"

"Hell needs souls." He looked at Dean. "What did Benny say?"

"He said almost everyone is infected. Sam, Sis. Watch each other's back. I'm gonna help out Benny, you two, head to the clinic, see if there is any clues how it started."

"Sure." Sam was glad to be with his wife. They hated to be apart.

Once Dean left, Piper asked him about the guy in Sam's visions.

"His name is Duane Tanner." Before they came here, Sam used FacePage to look him up. The town was small with only one high school, so Sam looked up old graduation pictures. There he found Duane. Once he got his name, he looked up where he lived and tracked him down. "He used to live on Aspen Way, he said he was here on a fishing trip."

"Okay." Piper was suspicious, it sounded way too easy. "Should we go?"

"Dean's already on it." Sam was worried, Dean killed the guy. But the killing happened somewhere else. "Let's head to the clinic."

"Okay Brother, now what?" The two residents of the door told both that Duane wasn't home. Benny whispered that both had that odd smell.

"If what you said is true, then we have no choice." Dean takes out his gun. When they heard screams from inside, Dean kicks down the door.

"Mom, this won't hurt one bit." The young teenager cuts open his wrist, dripping blood on her open wound. When they heard the door breaking down, the middle aged man grabs the knife away from his son and charges towards Dean, Dean had no choice but to shoot him dead. Benny was already gone, he went chasing after the teenager who threw himself out the window.

Once Dean grabbed Beverly and put her in the backseat, he waited for Benny who came jogging over.

"Well?"

"Kid's a lot faster than I thought. I regret not carrying a gun. Sorry Brother." He sniffs the air. "She's infected." She looked sick.

"Well, we'll take her to the clinic first, see if she can be saved. Plus see if there is a vaccine available." Once a reluctant Benny climbs in, they drive towards the clinic.

Piper was wondering what was going on. The clinic was empty, she expected it to be full of people. Sam was with the doctor and nurse, all three were wondering what was happening.

"What are you saying?" Dr Lee was confused.

"Its been a few days. Why hasn't anyone come in?" Sam didn't care, he showed off his badge demanding he see the appointment books. De Lee refused, saying something about patient confidentiality, until her assistant, Nurse Clayton remarked that none of the other staff bothered to come in for any of their shifts. "There is something going on. Is this town under quarantine? Because if it isn't, it should be."

"Sam! Dean and Benny are here!" Piper opens the door. When she saw Benny holding a woman, she calls for the doctor.

"What happened?" They were in the doctor's office, Dr Lee was checking up on Beverly who was unconscious.

"She was beaten by her husband and son. They did this to her." Dean was very careful not to touch that wound, Benny warned Dean that she was getting sicker. "Can you take a blood sample? I believe she is carrying a rare disease."

"Sure. Pamela, can you draw some blood, plus prepare some antibiotics." She looked up. "Who are you?" Once all four hold up their badges, she nodded. "Okay. You met Mark when you came in town." Dr Lee was in her office when he called, he claimed that there was something weird going on. At first she scoffed, but after a few days noticed something was going on. Everyone kept looking at her funny. Then she heard of random fights, then today when none of her staff showed up for work other than Pamela who just returned from vacation. Then when the coroner brought someone in, and after she did a autopsy, she was surprised to see what was in that man's body. "It was nothing I seen before. He had a extremely high white blood count, he was fighting off a viral infection." She sighed. "Never seen anything like it." She suspected Beverly had the same infection. "Mark, he and a few others insisted on quarantining the town, says this thing is spreading faster than a common cold. If what you said is true, then we have to call the proper authorities."

"I can go." Piper needed to call her sisters. She suspected demon activities.

"I'll come with you. Doc, how far is the nearest town?"

"Sidewinder is forty minutes away, head west over the bridge."

"Sam, keep an eye on everyone. Benny, watch over the woman. If you smell rotting blood, you know what to do."

Benny nodded. He had a gun, Dean insisted on him carrying one.

"Really?" Sam couldn't believe it.

"She'll be safe. Promise." Dean didn't want to tell Sam why he was taking Piper away.

"I'll be back. Promise." She blows a kiss at Sam. She was glad for the company, she and Dean rarely talked very much these days. She wanted to tell him about Henry's journals.

"So how far do we need to drive?" Dean was driving, he had to see what Piper was doing.

"Just till we see the bridge." If Piper's theory was right, there was demonic possession. She wasn't planning on using her magic, except freezing. She had a few tests to do. Once Dean got there, he saw a roadblock.

"So what now?"

"Chant the anti possession spell. Once they unfreeze, they should be fine."

"And if they don't?"

"We run." Piper debated on leaving, but she needed to protect whoever was innocent.

"Dammit." She knew they were all sick, whoever was behind this, they were using the town as a petri dish. Dean was shaking his head. He chanted the spell, nothing happened. "Dean? We better go." One guy was walking towards them. Unfortunately, Dean couldn't get his car to start.

"How's it going folks? Sorry the bridge is closed." The man says with a friendly tone. "I suggest you turn back."

"That's too bad, have some kin in Sidewinder." Dean bluffed. He was turning his car keys. Dean saw the teenager from the house smirking at him holding a shotgun.

"What's the hurry? Can't you and your lady friend stay for a bit? We love to hear about the outside world. Since there's no way to communicate with the outside world, its been dull since quarantine started." His voice was friendly, but both Dean and Piper were creeped out.

"We can't. Dean." Piper was willing to risk exposure to run. She jumped when the man grabbed Dean's car wheel. Before she can react, Dean's car finally starts running. Dean had no choice but to floor it, especially when he heard gunshots as Dean turned the car around. Unfortunately, the guy was instantly killed by one of the bullets, his blood splashed on the windows.

"Were you hit?" Dean was driving fast.

"I don't think so." Piper used her magic to destroy the blood. "Lets go back to town."

Back at the clinic, a befuddled Beverly was asking on what's going on.

"My husband. My son." Sam just finished telling her about the virus. "Am I infected?"

"We don't know yet. We have to quarantine you for a few days in an isolation room. Just till we get the tests back." What she saw on the telescope, it was identical to the blood of the corpse that came in. As far as she knew, there was no cure. "Are you okay with it?"

"Do what you have to do." Then out of nowhere she screams and starts attacking. Before she could attack anyone, Benny punched her hard in the face, knocking her out.

"Sorry." Just then Dean comes rushing in with Piper and the Marine from before.

"Dean?" Sam didn't know what was going on.

"Mark! What's going on?" She knew Mark since he moved to town after he was discharged from the Marines. She was his regular doctor.

"It's worse than I thought." Mark saw everyone in town, they all had that dead eyed look. "My neighbour, Mr Rogers, he's dead." Mark was forced to kill him when he tried breaking in his car. Luckily, his blood didn't splash on Mark.

"Your neighbour is named Mr Rogers?" Dean would have laughed if things weren't so bad.

"Not anymore." He, Dean and Piper had a tense drive here. All three were cautious of one another. Piper was scared to blow them up, Dean was afraid to kill his sister in law, he knew Sam would never forgive him, and Mark didn't trust anyone. "Doc, we have to leave. But only if we can."

"My boyfriend. I have to go." Pamela stopped dead in her tracks when Mark held a gun to her face.

"No one's going anywhere."

"Sam? Benny? What's going on?" Piper saw the unconscious body of Beverly Tanner. She was laying on the floor.

"I don't know." Sam hugged his wife, he was worried about her. He nodded at Dean glad he was safe as well.

"I finished the blood work. The tests didn't take long, Beverly's had that same virus. "I found something in the blood. Sulfur."

"Damn." Piper knew it. "Is there any cure?" She remembered her Gram telling them about the legend of Croatoan. That a virus came from nowhere and infected the Roanoke Colony. The people there just vanished with no explanation. Grams always believed there was nothing supernatural involved, that the colonists there just decided to wonder off and start over without the chains of their old life. The word "Croatoan" was etched on the tree to throw off any of their pursuers. As for the word, she always said a demon possessing a settler saw the word and decided to take the name as its own. There was a class of demons that caused sickness and death. Therefore the Legend of the Lost Colony was born. Whoever was behind this, they wanted to draw them here.

"Not yet. I seen Beverly's blood. Its starting to mutate."

Dean shook his head. After what Mark told him, and after what he and Piper saw back at the bridge, he shook his head regretfully at Sam.

"She's innocent!"

"You guys should leave." Dean knew she was already gone, it wouldn't matter.

Sam was arguing with everyone when he heard the shot from the next room. Dammit. He heard the stories from Phoebe and Paige, how a global pandemic infected the world. He knew this virus wasn't the same, no one acted violently. But whatever this virus was, they both had something in common; there was no cure. He knew there was a way to get infected, it was blood to blood contact. He looked at Dean who looked grim.

"We have to do something. We cannot let anyone go. Not even us. Not till we test everyone here." Dean didn't know what else to do. He was glad his wife wasn't here, he just wished he had a chance to say goodbye if he had a chance. He looked at Piper who's face was blank.

Mark was looking out the window, it was getting dark outside when he heard a scream. He goes running to see Pamela crying over dropped vials.

"Pamela! None of it touched you!" The doctor was holding Pamela who was hysterical.

"Is any on me? Am I infected!" She was terrified.

"There's no blood splatters on you! I swear!" She helped her up. "Marshals! Did you get help?" She asked Piper who was staring. When she shook her head the doctor sagged. Dean and Sam were arguing what to do in the next room.

"So you're saying we're screwed either way! Now what!" Sam didn't care about himself, but his wife. He wanted her safe. They couldn't leave anyways, the building was surrounded by 'zombies.'

"We'll get out of here. Just wish Sis had her magic." Dean never realized how much he took magic for granted. He looked around. "Sam? Remember Bobby's training on bombs?" That summer in '98, Dean was eighteen, Sam fourteen, John thought it was time for them how to make bombs. Sam saw the medical supply cabinet. "Bring Mark here, with the three of us, we can have enough arsenal to leave town once the tests come back clean." Dean was sure all of them were safe, but he had to be cautious.

It was close to midnight when the bombs were all done. Piper wanted to help, but she was keeping an eye on the door, she had no choice but to shoot anyone that tried to break in. Dr Lee was busy testing their blood, plus trying to make a temporary vaccine to keep them healthy, while Nurse Pamela was getting supplies for everyone such as food from the vending machines. When they heard a pounding, they all looked up.

"Dr Lee! Its me! Its Duane! Let me in! I'm not infected! I swear!"

"Let him in." Dr Lee ordered Piper. Piper opened the door, but not till everyone had their guns out, Piper herself had her weapon drawn, she had to be safe.

"Duane?" Mark knew him since he was twelve. "What happened to you?" When he saw the large gash on his leg, he stepped back. "Back! Not any closer!"

"I'm not infected! I told you! My leg, I cut it when I fell on a branch running for my life! No one touched me! I swear!" His eyes widened when he saw the guns drawn.

Sam saw the scar on his head. He clears his throat at Dean. When Dean gave him a questioning look, Sam nodded his head at Dean.

'Wow. Awkward.' Dean thought. This was the guy he killed in Sam's visions.

"Sorry man." Dean walked up to him and butted him with a gun, knocking him out. "Benny?" He watches Benny dragging Duane away. None of them were touching Duane, as a vampire, Benny was most likely immune. "Doc, test his blood while he's out." He ordered.

Dean refused to be in the same room with Duane. He didn't want to kill another man. He wasn't a killer. He heard Duane screaming that he was clean, that he wasn't infected. Mark was keeping an eye on him, Piper was taking a nap with Pamela, all of them agreed to take shifts.

Four hours later, he saw Piper yawning sleepily.

"How was your nap?" They were interrupted by a crash. Both came running and saw Pamela cutting herself open and pouring her blood in Sam's open wound. When Dean saw that, he grabbed his gun and shot Pamela dead. "Sam?"

Sam saw his wife's face, she looked devastated.

Dean was arguing with everyone afterwards. Sam ordered Dean to keep Piper away from him.

"You saw him! He's infected!" Mark argued.

"I'm clean. Your brother isn't! You have to do something!" Duane screamed. His tests came back negative.

"I'm not killing my brother!"

"Dean. Take Piper and go home. I'm finished. I can take the bombs, lure everyone inside and kill them all. Benny can torch any zombies out there." Sam felt hot and tired. He looked at his wife. "I'm sorry to be so careless."

Dean shook his head.

"Benny, take Sis back to Lawrence. She needs to protect someone I care about." No way was he leaving Sam. "Sis, tell Jenna I'll see her again." He was going to pray to Douchebag Mike for help. Michael owed him one. He'll get the Holy Grail back from Krissy. He looks at Mark. "Take Duane and the Doc and drive as far as you can go, take some bombs as necessary." He was never leaving Sam alone to die. He was planning on letting everyone in, he saw some gas lines, this place was going sky high. He smiled at Piper who was staring tearfully at Sam.

"Piper. Forgive me." Piper was about to slap him, till Dean held her back.

"I can hit him for you. Go. Your sisters need you." He hugged Piper who sniffled. "I'm not kissing him, but he knows." Piper mouthed 'I love you.'

"I love you too. Take care." Sam teared up seeing her tears. He broke his promise again. Hopefully he saw her again, but not until she was old and grey in Heaven. Once everyone left, he asked why.

"You think I'm giving up? Remember someone upstairs owes us one." He sat down and closed his eyes. "Mike. Michael. It's Dean Winchester. Remember me? I have the Holy Grail. Cure Sam, and It's yours." He prayed for a long time, when no one answered, Dean swore. "Fuck you then." He takes out his gun. "If he won't come to me, I'll come to him." He cocks the gun. "Sam, this will get messy." He puts the gun under his chin. But before he can shoot himself with Sam protesting, they were interrupted by Sam's cell.

"Hello?" He made Dean put down his gun. "What do you mean? Are you serious?" Dean was mouthing 'what?' "Okay. Thanks Cas." He clicks the phone off.

"Cas? I thought he was in Hawaii." Dean was jealous, he did nothing but work.

"Castiel said Michael answered your prayers. He said to look at Beverly's blood work." Sam felt fine, like he slept on a million dollar mattress. Fifteen minutes later, both brothers were mystified with everyone who drove back to tell them what they saw.

"The town. Everyone, they're gone." Mark couldn't believe it. He was planning on shooting everyone that was infected till he saw the Impala. Benny and Piper said the town was completely empty.

Five hours later Dr Lee gave Sam a clean bill of health.

"You, Beverly. The virus. It's gone." She couldn't believe it. "Talk about dodging a bullet." This sample, she was planning on contacting the CDC, but not until she patents it. This can be a incredible vaccine. "I have to go to Portland, there's a lab there. Go. The government will be here by tomorrow."

"Thank you." Dean couldn't believe it. "Benny, you need a ride?" Benny proved to be a trusted ally, if Sis says he's alright, then Dean won't argue.

"I have a car. My partner would expect it back." Benny had to report back to Chris.

"What about you Mark?"

"Duane and I are heading south. What about you?"

"Heading east. Take care." Once they all say goodbye, Dean takes Sam and Piper and drives off. He wondered how Michael cured Sam without anyone noticing.

Mark was driving on the dark highway when Duane asked him to pull over.

'Mark' was staring at the dead demon a few minutes later. Shame Duane didn't survive. He bowed his head to Michael who flew to the window.

"My lord. Your experiment worked. By why use this virus? Why not the other one?" The other virus was more efficient. Michael said he got it from another world.

"I have my reasons." He was using the visage of 'Dr Lee.' He unglamoured himself to his favorite meatsuit, Dean Winchester. He wasn't worried about the Grail at the moment, he was too busy. "Get ready to destroy this town. As far as the humans go, this place never existed."

"Yes sir." The angel flew away to have Heaven destroy this place with everyone in it. Michael looked up.

"Grace." She was still missing. He had a task, but not at the expense of his daughter's life.

The town was struck by a deep crater, the former town was gone, every citizen vanished. It was never mentioned in any map or ever remembered. The crater that was once there caused by Heaven's beam was now a bountiful forest with nothing but a bridge joining the highway.

Piper was back at Lawrence, she had to work at the bar. She felt so hot. Like she had a fever.

Jenna was looking at baby books. She was dying to tell Dean the doctor called. There was a mix up, she was pregnant after all.
