A phone was buzzing loudly as I just kept my head on the pillow.
" I don't want to wake up." I said as I lifted my head to see Jasper smiling at me.
" I'll get it." Jasper said as I smirked. I nodded and let my mind shift to sleep, only for Jasper to shake me awake.
" What is it that is going to get my ass out of bed?" I asked as I sat up.
" Bella needs you to come over, apparently Edward smelt a rogue vampire in her home." Jasper said as I got out of bed. I put on a black tank top and shorts.
" I'll be right over. If another vampire is trailing either Bella or me again, they have another thing coming." I say with a fire in my eyes and spirit. Jasper came over, his eyes having a slightly darkened look.
" Looks like you need to feed Jaz." I said as he shook his head. I realized that glint. Major?
" Major?" I asked as he smirked, he pulled me into his arms and let a low growl.
" It's alright, I'm not going to get hurt." I say as I placed my hand in his wavy honey blonde hair. His grip eased as I rubbed his head.
" My girl is safe." Major's voice was clear and cut with the robustness of his home prefecture.
" Course." I replied as he eased away, pressing a kiss upon my cheek.
" Much love here isn't it?" A voice said as I looked in the hall. It was Carlisle. I see Jasper smirk, Major quietly was replaced by Jasper's kind side.
" Very." Jasper said as I walked to the door.
" I'm going to hunt then I'll be over to Bella's to catch up." Jasper said as I nodded. I got outside to my bike and rode to Bella's place. I saw Jacob and Edward staring at one another, Bella with pleading eyes staring at them before her eyes locked on me.
" Jace!" She cried out as I got off my bike. She ran over to me and embraced me, which I returned. She parted off me as I smirked.
" These two having a dick measuring contest?" I asked as she blushed.
" Care to show me where you found the smell?" I asked as Edward nodded, Jacob was glaring at me. Edward leads me inside and as soon as I got into Bella's room, three scents wafted my nose, Bella's was nice and calming. Edwards hit like honey induced sweet truck that I was used to. The third one was sweet, too sweet.
" God Damn!" I growled as I swore my nose was bleeding.
" Smells like burnt rubber doused in burning sugar." I growled before Edward helped me out of here.
" You alright?" Edward asked as I nodded.
" I got the scent, I won't lose it." I said as Edward smiled.
" What's that for?" I asked as Edward chuckled.
" You, a wolf, being a mate to a vampire and imprinting on one. The one that's known as the God of War. But I'm glad you are happy with Jasper. In fact, you are my favorite wolf." Edward proclaims as I smirked.
" Course I am." I said as I walked out to see Bella and Jacob standing not so close to one another as if something was said. Edward got to Bella's side.
" I've got the scent deep within my nose." I said as Bella smiled at me, I heard Jacob scoff.
" What's the problem?" I asked as he huffed.
" They are using you!" He exclaimed, my eyes widened as I felt my fists shaking.
" What! This vampire could be after either Bella or me, I don't know!" I growled as I felt my anger rising, a glint in Jacob's eyes.
" Alright, we're done here." Edward said as he got between Bella and me from Jacob.
" No, you're done here." Jacob said as I almost was about to phase. Bella got in front of me and in between Jacob alongside Edward.
" Stop. I'm tired of this." Bella said as I calmed down just slightly.
" Jacob, stop treating Jace like she's nothing with the fact she won't join your pack." Bella said as I backed away in case I phased.
" Edward, quit having hate towards Jacob. Jacob quit hating Edward!" She exclaimed as I tried to calm down.
" I don't expect you guys to chuck a football around together. Fine. But we have a lot of problems. And this is one temporary solution. Are you willing to at least try?" She said as I felt Edward's gaze upon me. I soon felt arms around me.
" It's alright, please calm." Jasper's voice calms me. I turned to him and calmed down.
" Thank god, if you didn't' show up, Jacob wouldn't be standing." I whispered. I felt a chuckle come from Jasper.
" Pathetic!" Jacob growled out as I turned to see him slightly shaking.
" What?" I asked in my calmed state, my inner wolf purring at the contentment of her's and my imprint in close vicinity.
" I don't believe you have imprinted on a bloodsucker!" Jacob yelled out.
" Do or don't, I don't care. It's the truth Black!" I said in a tone that I felt my inner wolf contributed her voice to it. He didn't falter or move.
" Jacob! Leave Jace alone!" Bella exclaimed taking the werewolf off guard.
" If she's happy then leave her be!" Bella exclaimed again, I felt like there is another meaning behind it, but I disregard it. Jacob just growled before I turned back to Jasper.
" Let's go before Jacob gets a raging hard on to get me into his pack or whatever!" I said as Jasper chuckled. I got on my bike and Jasper got behind me, we rode off with no hassle.
