I felt my eyes open, vision blurring as I blinked. Half of my body felt wrong and broken. I turned my head to see Jasper next to me.
" Jasper?" I asked as his focus went to my eyes.
" Jace." Jasper's voice was shaken almost as he was struggling to function. I saw Carlisle in the corner of my vision come towards me. The smell of the La Push wolves lingered on him. I turned my head and threw up, causing more of my bones to shift. I screamed out as I felt my inner wolf crying out.
" Jace, we have to reset the bones." Carlisle said as I felt the sweat from my body coating every inch, it was sickening and all wrong.
" Do what you have to." I said through clenched teeth. Carlisle nodded and the first bone was snapped again, my eyes widened as my cries and screams began. Jasper grabbed my shoulder. That was the start of enduring what felt like hours of pain. I swore that my cries could be heard by Forks itself. My voice strained as the last bone was broken. and shifted into place.
" It's all over now honey." Carlisle said as he began wrapping my upper body and casting my arm. I felt my body begin to sweat. Carlisle puts an iv in my arm. I felt everything was set, Jasper looks over me as I felt the tears coming down my cheeks, Jasper wipes them away as the sweat continues down my skin.
" You are gonna be alright." Jasper's voice was a mix of both him and Major. I nodded before a new howl I've never before, but it felt familiar.
" I need you to wheel me to the door." I said with a strained voice, Jasper nodded before placing a small kiss upon my hot forehead. He carefully wheeled me ver to the windowed door, I see Carlisle looking at a grey-white wolf that was all huffy and puffy. I inhaled carefully not to hurt my lungs.
" Calm father." I said in a surprised tone, but he must have somehow heard of the news that I got hurt and the rage caused him to phase once again. Carlisle looked at me with caution.
" It's my father. Can you retrieve him some clothes?" I asked as Carlisle nodded. Dad stood on his paws as if he was once again getting used to being a wolf again. Wait! If he's a wolf then maybe he and I can communicate via telepathy, he is part of my pack.
DAD? CAN YOU HEAR ME? I thought aloud to him. His head tilted to me.
Course I can hear you Jace, what you did.. Dad thought back as he let some small sad snarls out.
" Calm down Dad, wait till you are human." I told him, he gruffed before Carlisle came back with clothes. Dad grabbed them with his teeth and went behind a tree.
" Jas, put me back where we were." I say as Jasper placed a hand on my forehead before kissing my head. He wheeled me back and soon Dad was clothed in a black top and jeans.
" I thought that once you stopped phasing that you couldn't do it again?" I asked as Dad smirked.
" I guess the wolf within hear the snap of your bones from the cause of a newborn from so far and came back out of retirement." Dad said as I felt tears going down my cheeks as he had a tear going down his cheek.
" What were you thinking Jace." Dad said shaking.
" There was a shewolf. Harry's daughter, my friend, was about to have her head taken off by a fucking newborn. I felt every inch of my body filled with power and I used it to rip it off of her, I got hurt yes. I can't let Leah get hurt because of some newborn." I said as my body began to sweat. Dad looked taken aback.
" I couldn't let her die." I said as Dad came over and sat down next to me.
" Song's always butting heads with the wrong people." Dad said as I smiled.
" I did everything I could to protect her." Jasper said as Dad looked at him and nodded.
" And I am proud of you for it." He replied as I felt Jasper's hand on my head, I nuzzled into it. I see Dad smiling at me.
" You two remind me of my wife and I when we found one another. The world shifted under our feet. Life was easy then." Dad said as I chuckled.
"I'm proud to call you my soon-to-be son-in-law." Dad said as I watched him get up and shake Jasper's free hand.
" She will never come into harm's way. Not by La Push Wolves or Rogue Vampires." Jasper said as Dad smiled.
" I'll be fighting along side you if it comes to that." Dad said before looking at my wrapped upper body.
" I'll heal, just takes time Dad." I said as he smiled.
" Course you will, you have the Song Healing." Dad said as I was slightly confused by that.
" Song Descendent Shifters are known to heal faster than normal shifters. Should be healed by the end of tomorrow night. Billy's boy is gonna take a bit longer." Dad said as I smiled.
" Jace has explained your past and upbringing. How you helped her when she was almost hurt by that James fellow. I'm glad you protected her then. I'm even more glad that you are gonna protect her now, even if she is a wolf." Dad said in a smiling manner.
" Nice one Dad." I said as he chuckled.
" You are strong and you have your mother's spitfire. Never let it diminish." Dad said before he kissed my forehead. I watched him walk away.
" Where are you going Dad?" I asked as I see Dad slightly turn to me.
" Set things straight. I'm with you and I'm part of your pack, Jace. Father and Daughter." Dad said as I saw him leave, the smile on his face was plain and simple. I see Rosalie coming into the room, she has something in her hand. I watched her hand it over to Jasper, he smiled and carefully placed something on my finger. My ring!
" Thank god!" I whispered to myself.
" Can't go anywhere without you ring my love." Jasper said as I smiled.
" Never." I whispered.
