I found myself in Cullen's home getting ready for my wedding, people have been slowly filtering through.
" Did you sleep alright Jace?" Alice asked as she was putting some powder under my eyes to get rid of the small dark circles under my eyes.
" A weird dream, but I'm alright for the most part." I said as I felt my inner wolf agreeing with me. Alice was doing my makeup and I just let her run with it. I was wearing a white robe, underneath was a white bra and my white underwear.
" It's alright." I said as I saw Rosalie come in wearing a purple robe. I smiled as she came over.
" Need help with your hair?" Rosalie asked as I nodded. I watched as Rose put my hair in a braided bun, some locks remained loose and untouched as they had framed my face.
" How did you sleep?" Rose asked as she finished up my hair.
" Fairy well if I am being honest." I said as I saw Alice painting my nails a sheen blue color that glinted of silver accents.
" Sleep eludes us." Alice says in the happiest tone. I just chuckled.
" And I'll probably be the only shifter that is a part of the Cullen Clan." I said as Rosalie smiled.
" Most likely." Rosalie said as I smiled.
" Weddings. They bring everyone together." Alice said as I smiled.
" Jace?" Dad's voice rang out, I turned and saw him in a tux. I got up and smiled. He had a smile on his face.
" I know. I look handsome for the first time in years." Dad says as I chuckled. I saw he was holding a box.
" What's that?" I asked as he opened it, it was a wolf head hair comb with embezzled blue stones.
" Something from your mother." Dad said as I smiled, I almost felt the tears moving.
" I love it Dad." I said as Alice took it and placed it in my bun. I couldn't help but feel completed by this.
" I am glad that you are happy." Dad said with a smile on his face. I see Alice smiling. I get up as Rosalie helps Alice retrieve what I believe is the dress.
" It's time for the dress and shoes!" Alice says with excitement in her voice. I go into a room with her and she helps me into it. It feels slim and tight but comfortable against my form. I carefully get the shoes on and Alice helps me put the veil on. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled at what I saw. My beautiful face, my frame, and everything fit like a completed puzzle.
" How do you feel?' Alice asked as I smiled.
" I feel pretty and I feel happy about this. I'm not running. I feel completed." I said as Alice smiled. She took me out of the dressing room, I saw a single tear leave my dad's eyes as I couldn't help but smile.
" You look beautiful." Dad said as I felt joy and love fill my very being, my inner wolf was prancing around.
" Thank you Dad." I whispered as I saw out on the aisle where all of my friends were waiting for me. Dad patted my back as I took a deep breath in. All these people, friends from school, some family, a little of them came, and plus-ones. I felt like my heart was going to explode right then and there.
" Ease your heart." Dad said as I nodded. I watched them stand up, Dad had his arm out and I wrapped mine in it.
" Don't let me fall." I whispered as I heard the music stop, people got up in respect.
" Never would I let you fall on your day." Dad said as we walked out. I gripped my dad's arm as we walked, their eyes on me as we walked, the music picked up lightly as I felt my heart beating from my chest. As we turned to the aisle, it all calmed for me, I saw my love, Jasper, his hair fixed back and he looked handsome. His smile spoke a thousand words. I was soon at the alter. Jasper took my hand in his as my Dad gave me away.
" Thank you." I said to my father, who smiled and sat down. There I was, at the alter, the love of my life holding my hand. Everyone was soon seated.
" Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here on this glorious day to witness the union of Jasper Hale and Jace Song. Please repeat after me." The minister said as I held back the tears in my eyes. Jasper's smile made my inner wolf howl in excitement.
" I, Jasper Hale." He said as Jasper smiled at me.
" I, Jasper Hale." Jasper repeated as I smiled back.
" Take you, Jace Song." The minister said in a monotone.
" Take you, Jace Song." Jasper repeated as it felt simple to say. The minister nodded as we remember what to say next.
" To have and to hold." Jasper says as I felt his thumb rub my hand to soothe me.
" For better or for worse." I replied as almost felt my tear leave my eye.
" For richer, for poorer." Jasper completed his moment.
" ln sickness and in health." I replied with love in my heart.
" To love." Jasper says as I feel love through the imprint.
" To cherish. As long as we both shall live." I say as I meant that with every word.
" Do you take Jace Song to be your lawfully wedded wife?" The minister asked as Jasper smiled that signature smile I loved.
" I do." He said as I felt my heart fill with joy.
" Do you Jace Song, take Jasper Hale to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The minister asked as I smiled.
" I do." I replied as I felt warmth filling me.I placed Jasper's ring on his finger and he put my ring on my finger. The cool metal felt in place.
" Then by the power invested in me by the state of Washington, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." The minister said before Jasper and I kissed. It felt like electricity. We parted as we heard clapping.
" I love you." I said as Jasper smiled.
" I love you too, Darlin." He replied before we faced the crowd.
" I now present Mr. and Ms. Jasper Hale." The minister said before we saw everyone clapping. It wasn't long before the reception was underway. Toats were given earlier, some funny, others known fact. People talking with one another, people came to congratulate Jasper and me. Billy and Sue came up to me.
" I'm happy for the both of you. I'm glad the imprint works for the both of you." Billy said as Sue smiled.
" Thank you Billy." I said as Jasper smiled.
" Hopefully Jacob doesn't get involved." Jasper said before he kissed my forehead. Billy nodded with a knowing but calmed expression.
" I'm glad Leah is enjoying herself." I said as I see Leah with a smile on her face as she was talking to a cousin of mine before waving a hand towards me. Billy shook Jasper's hand before he and Sue went to mingle with the other wedding guests. I saw some of our guests coming up to us.
" Jace, Congratulations, Jasper." Carmen says as I smile, she kisses my cheek in a welcoming manner.
" Thank you." I say with a smile on my face. They were so curious, but one looked slightly disgusted.
" Eleazar and Carmen, right?" I asked as they nodded.
" Yes, and these are our cousins from Alaska. Tanya, Kate." Jasper said as I smiled at the two new blondes I've never met. They smiled with interest.
" We've heard so much about you scooping up the God Of War." Kate said as Tayna smiled with glee.
" Welcome to the family. Bienvenida." Eleazar says with joy in his tone. The other blonde was just staring towards Billy and Leah.
" Irina." Carmen says grabbing her attention.
" Come meet Jace." She says in a happy tone. Irina came forward.
" I can't do this." She said in a harsh tone. I felt my inner wolf growl.
" You promised us this Irina, to be at peace with Jasper's choice." Tanya said as Irina glared at me.
" They invited one. He married one." She said in a sorrowed tone. What did I ever do to her?
" Irina, she's Jace's closet confidant." Jasper said as Irina glared at me again.
" They killed Laurent. Who knows if she was involved." Irina said as she glared at me.
" No, I didn't." I said in slight scared for my life.
" I don't accept you in the Cullen clan, not even if you are married to one of the most dangerous of our kind." She said before storming off.
" Irina!" Carmen called for her and went after her.
" Well. Let's not monopolize the bride. Congratulations." Eleazar said before going off with his family. I felt slightly shaken before Jasper placed a calming kiss on my lips.
" It's ok, she'll come around." Jasper said as I nodded. Leah soon came to us and hugged me. I smiled as she grinned in happiness towards me.
" I'm happy for you Jace." Leah says as I smiled.
" You are my closest friend, you've made everything alright in life. I hope we can continue our friendship through our basically immortal lives." I say as Leah tears up and hugs me.
" It's almost time for us to leave." Jasper said as I pulled away from Leah, I nodded and Jasper and I were about to head up to the house to change, but we were stopped by Sam.
" Can I talk to you two?" Sam asked as I nodded. We go to the front of the house and away from the party.
" There is no more quarrel between La Push Wolves and The Cullens. The treaty still stands, but you are under the protection of the Cullens by your marriage." Sam said as he put his hand out. A bush shook before Jacob came out! What is he doing here!
" You can't let this happen Sam!" Jacob growled out. Oh hell no. I stepped forward.
" You weren't invited! Get out!" I said as I felt myself shaking.
" Jacob, I suggest you don't upset my bride." Jasper's tone was sharp with venom lacing his voice.
" I won't let this stand!" Jacob growled before phasing, snarling loud.
" GET OUT!" I snarled at him, Sam got between us.
" Don't start something you aren't going to finish." Sam growled before the rest of the pack showed up and escorted Jacob Wolf out. No one saw anything, thank god!
" No trouble here on out." Sam said as I nodded. He left and Jasper pulled me to him.
" It's you and I." He whispered before kissing me. I huffed before I calmed down. We went inside and changed out of our wedding clothes. I got into a light blue dress. Jasper was in a pair of slacks and a dark blue shirt. We walked out of the house and people threw rice at us, we chuckled before we got to our get-away car. Dad was waiting there.
" So, he really won't tell you where he's taking you?" Dad asked as I shook my head with a chuckle.
" Nope and believe me I've tried." I said as Dad smirked.
" The same thing I did with your mother." He replied with a grin, Alice came up to us with a smile.
" Everything is packed away." Alice says with the innocent voice that I grew to love.
" Awesomeness." I exclaimed as Dad chuckled.
" Well... It's gonna be strange, you not living under my roof." Dad said as I laughed out loud.
" I'll still see you." I replied ad Dad held me in his embrace.
" I love you, Dad. Forever." I said with full meaning in my voice.
" I love you, too, hun. You don't wanna miss your plane. Wherever it's going." Dad said as we parted, Jasper, coming over to me.
" You ready?" He said as I smiled.
" Yeah, I'm ready." I said as he smiled. Jasper and I got in the car, people waving and shouting for us to have a good time. It wasn't too long before we were out of the drive. I smiled as I heard a familiar howl, Leah's. It was full of hope and embracement. I was looking forward to the rest of my life. What we didn't prepare for was a big change.
