A/N: HEY! Sorry for the long wait. New Eldest Bennett chapter. Not entirely sure if I want to go down this plot, but... let me know if you find it interesting.
Apollo stood in the shadows, hidden from human eyes, watching Frost and his daughter bond. They laughed about something but Apollo didn't feel the need to listen in on their conversation. Both were talking, both were happy and that was all that matters.
"Hermes, you can reveal yourself now"
The air behind him rippled like water the Hermes appeared looking annoyed. "I thought I told you…" Hermes started.
Apollo rolled his eyes "Please, you wanted this" He said. "You wouldn't have given me the idea otherwise."
"Not everything I do is a manipulation" Hermes said. "I don't care for what your doing."
Apollo rolled his eyes. "It's been 300 years, Hermes" He pleaded. "Hasn't it been long enough?"
"What is 300 years to me? To us?" Hermes asked. "I want this… whatever your doing… to end"
Apollo kept silent. Like his daughter, he could not – would not - lie, but he could keep quiet if he so chose.
Hermes glared, not at all fooled by Apollo's silence. "The girl got what she deserved" He said. "Your little crush doesn't change that."
"It's not a crush" Apollo argued. "I owe her a debt. One you should want me to fulfill consider-"
"I told you long ago it was dangerous getting yourself into any kind of debt with a girl such as that" Hermes cut him off ignoring the entire second half of that sentence. "You should have listened."
Apollo's form started to glow around the edges. It was only be force of will that he didn't turn into his true form. "Go. To. Hades." Apollo said with barely restrained fury. "And leave me to my own business."
Hermes glared, "I cursed her like that for a reason." He told Apollo said. "Don't blame me if this ends up poorly, and you owe Jackson just as much as you owe her."
With that Hermes transformed into his true self. A being of golden light before disappearing into thin air.
Apollo closed his eyes. "I am paying my debt to him brother. He'd want this more than you'd ever know."
A/N Wasn't entirely sure if I wanted to go down this plot. But I honestly can't think of anything else. So! Let me know if you find this interesting and we'll go from there.
