Chapter 8
Lovers
Lizzy was sitting with Ciel on the sofa and they were cuddling. They didn't know what to do and Sebastian was even bored. Ever since Lizzy saw that cat, she wondered if it was Madame Red. She didn't want to tell Ciel about it, because she figured it would only make him sad. Also, Ciel was allergic to cats and that wouldn't be such a good idea. If it really was Madame Red, perhaps it's best to stay away from her. Sebastian might like her though, much to Ciel's misery. Ciel wasn't too keen on cats. If he knew Madame Red was a cat, he'd throw a fit.
"What should we do!?" Lizzy screamed.
"I don't know, don't scream..." Ciel rubbed at his ear. She yelled right in it, because she was right next to him.
"Hm... I want to go shopping!" She fell off the couch and onto the floor.
Ciel laughed slightly. "Okay, we can go shopping."
The two of them locked arms and then told Sebby they wanted to go shopping. He agreed and grabbed his coat, because it was quite chilly outside.
Once they reached the shopping center of London, they walked around different shops that sold various things. Lizzy found a scarf and a pair of new shoes, while Ciel didn't want to spend any of his money. He liked to save it and figured that if Lizzy was happy, that was enough. "Lizzy."
"What?"
"What do you think of me?"
"Huh?" She was confused.
"Never mind." He walked away.
She ran after him and then grabbed his arm. "Wait. What do I think of you? I think you're amazing!" She smiled.
He smiled back and then an explosion was heard. "What the hell?" Was all Ciel could say.
"Ciel! Language!" Lizzy hit his arm.
"Sorry... but what was that?"
They ushered closer to the sound.
Another boom went off.
"Maybe... it's fireworks!" Lizzy cheered.
"Fireworks?"
"Yeah!"
"In the middle of the day?"
"I don't know..." She felt stupid now.
"I want to find out who or what it is."
"Same!" Lizzy was determined to find out.
"Be careful young ones... we don't want to get in trouble." Was all Sebastian could say.
"We know!" Ciel and Lizzy said at the same time.
