Kagome was all smiles when she saw that everyone that was within the wedding party, on time. The wedding planner was happy to receive an extra check, he did not mind canceling a few clients for the Taishos.

"Okay let's get started" the wedding planner said clapping his hands.

The music plays and the everyone stands in their perspective places.

"Where is the maid of honor? Maid of honor?"

Everyone looks around and notices Rin was not around. Kagome could have sworn she was there.

Meanwhile, Rin went to the bathroom, and as she was trying to come out the door jammed on her.

She hears the music playing.

"Oh, shit Kagome is going to kill me" she says in a panic.

She finally gets the door open and runs, she opens the main door to where the wedding will be held, and everyone turns and looks at her. Sesshomaru's eyes widen at the site.

"Rin!" Kagome yells.

"I got stuck in the bathroom, sorry" she says as she puts her hands up. She keeps her head down as she is embarrassed. When she gets up to where she is supposed to be standing, Kagome turns to her and gives her a glare. Rin eyes widen and looks down, "sorry".

Rin is too nervous to look up as she is embarrassed, but she feels eyes are on her. She looks over and sees golden eyes staring at her, Sesshomaru she says to herself.

Flashbacks hit her and she turns her head, and her face becomes flushed.

"We will start again and this time, the maid of honor will be in attendance" The wedding planner says.

Sesshomaru sees her distress, and Rin wants to get some air but instead she did breathing exercises to calm herself down.

"Now that everyone knows where they will be standing, we will rehearse the processional and then everyone will stand in their places".

They all go out in the hallway and are paired male/female according to ranking.

Rin feels as if she is about to be sick because she knows she will be paired with Sesshomaru, as they are the best man and maid of honor.

The wedding planner puts them side to side. Sesshomaru looks down at her from the corner of his eye.

"Hello Rin, long time no see".

Rin breathing becomes heavier, "The same to you Sesshomaru".

She grabs a hold of his arm, and they walk down the aisle.

"I sense you are distressed Rin; I hope I am not making you uncomfortable". Before they part to go to their positions Sesshomaru says, "Please meet with me after rehearsal" and Rin nods.

Rin tries to keep her composure as Sesshomaru keeps staring at her and secretly she stole a couple glances as well.

The wedding planner satisfied, and Kagome all smiles he concludes the rehearsal. Rin glances up at Sesshomaru and he nods signaling to come outside.

Sesshomaru's POV of seeing Rin again…

The doors open and he thought his nostrils were lying to him until he turned and looked, and saw her. He wanted to run to her and scoop her up and fly away with her. He saw that her head was down, not even realizing that he was there. She must be embarrassed, he thinks.

He could not help himself; he was staring at her. She must have felt that he was staring, and she looked up at him. Sesshomaru eyes glistened and soften when looking at her, he sees her face get red and she turns away. I must find a way to speak to her.

The wedding planner was right on time when he said they would practice walking down the aisle, he knew he would be paired with Rin, and he would ask her to meet with him.

He motions his head to let her know to meet him outside and she nods. Sesshomaru walks outside, his heart pacing with anticipating to talk to his mate.

Sesshomaru leaning against his car tapping his fingers against the vehicle, waits for Rin to come outside. The doors open and its Rin and Kagome. Kagome asks Rin if she needed a ride to her hotel room and she told her she would be fine. She waits until Kagome leaves and walks over to Sesshomaru.

"Hi" she says.

"Hello Rin, how have you been?"

"I have been doing well, it is kind of crazy we would bump into each other, I thought we would never see each other again?"

"Why is that?" he says out of curiosity.

"It was just a one-time thing, nothing more".

"The letter you wrote insinuated you may have wanted more, am I wrong?"

"Would you been open to wanting…. more?"

"I would have not been opposed to it".

Rin blushed, "Well it was different then and today I don't see myself pursuing anything with anyone". What are you saying Rin, you still have his sweats, you want him even now, she thinks to herself.

Hmmm, I will have to change her mind, Sesshomaru thinks.

"It was great seeing you; you look well Rin, tomorrow is the wedding and if you are planning on staying any longer than that, maybe you will accompany me to dinner or grab a drink".

"I will not be in Japan for long, just for a couple more days, but it will be nice to just relax. I am on vacation time, but this maid of honor shit is hard especially with Kagome, so it does not feel like a vacation. She is a bridezilla". She laughs out.

"But yes we could meet up".

"I would like that" he said with his eyes softening and dimming.

"Would you like a ride; I can take you instead of ubering and spending money".

"Oh, that would be fantastic!"

Sesshomaru opens the door to the passenger side and lets Rin in. He gets in the driver side, and he turns the car on. Rin tells him where to go and he could not help but look at her frame and think about how he had her writhing. She crosses her legs in her skirt and Sesshomaru eyes almost flashed red and his features almost revealed.

My mate is so close to me, and I cannot even touch her the way I want, he thinks to himself. Even though he could not touch her, he was so happy to have her close again so he can inhale her scent.

Rin gets inside of her house and begins to have flashbacks and feels herself getting wet. She sits on the couch and hikes one leg up and plays with herself. Just the way he spoke brought chills to her. She wanted him bad but for some reason it was like she was playing hard to get.

"You openly said you wouldn't be opposed to us getting to know each other better but I shut it down. What is wrong with me? I needed to get away for my own selfish reasons and you were also a reason too Sesshomaru on why I did not return. Am I really that insecure?" she says to herself.

Authors Note: You don't have to run away from getting to know someone Rin, Sesshomaru is not going anywhere. You are his dear mate and if he has to take his time with you, he will. You can't really reject you, but you could him. That could tear a hole in his heart, bigger than the one that was forming when you left the first time.
