Rin gets a call from Kagome.
"Aren't you supposed to be on a honeymoon? Rin asks.
"I am but I wanted to let you know I sent over a package, and I wanted to be on the phone when you received it. It should be arriving in, 4, 3, 2 ,1".
Ding dong!
"This must be a real important package for you to go out of your way and leave poor Inuyasha to fend for himself" she laughs.
She opens the door and takes the package.
"Put me on speaker phone".
Rin opens the package and its from Yandy, A burgundy lacy romance bra set.
"What in the world Kagome?"
"You know you and Sesshomaru will be getting acquainted again maybe, I thought I would send something over just in case you didn't have any".
"This is so like you. I don't even mind and it is very sexy, maybe I will wear it for him, only if he is a good boy" she says smiling.
"That is what I like to hear, well I am going to get back to Inuyasha, he is so mad I left him in the room".
"Have a good time, thank you, love you!"
"Love you too cousin".
Rin picks up her phone and saw she received a text message from Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru: Good morning beautiful!
Rin: Hey you, I was just about to text you!
Sesshomaru: Is everything alright?
Rin: Yes, everything is fine, I just wanted to know what should I be wearing tonight, formal or casual?
Sesshomaru: I already sent Jaken to pick up your attire, was that, okay?
Rin: Oh, I see it is something you want to see me in huh?
Sesshomaru: Since you put it like that, yes!
Rin thinks to herself, I may have something for you to see me in as well.
Rin: I trust your judgement, see you soon!
Sesshomaru: Looking forward to seeing your lovely face!
She puts the phone down and decides to do some editing work so she will not be bombarded when she gets back to LA.
She thought about her life in LA and wondered would this change if her and Sesshomaru were more serious. Would he be open to a long distant relationship? Would she have that much trust in him that he will not betray her? So many thoughts plagued her mind, she thought it best not to think too much about it yet.
The doorbell goes off and it is Jaken, and some other people.
"Hello Rin, Mr. Inutaisho has sent over attire for you to wear tonight, and these people are here for your hair and makeup and any accessories for you to wear tonight".
"Wow this was unexpected, I did not even realize the time".
"Always expect this Rin, especially dealing with my lord".
"Your lord?"
"I am sure you all will go over so much when you meet up".
Jaken ran up out of there, he realized he let that slip out and that would probably be his ass.
"I guess let's get to it" she says to the staff.
Sesshomaru picked out a navy-blue cap sleeve lace bodycon dress with navy-blue ranata sandal.
"Whoa this is beautiful" she says as the staff assist her putting it on.
"Even though master Jaken sent it over, I am sure Lord Sesshomaru hand-picked it" one of the staff said.
Rin thinks, what is up with this lord and now master Jaken? Yeah, I am starting to have a lot of questions.
The doorbell rings, Rin looks at her phone. "He is right on time".
Rin goes to open the door and she sees Sesshomaru and he is the most handsome being she has ever seen.
"I thought we would match, colors that is. You look very beautiful Rin".
"Thank you, as always you are well put together".
The staff scurry out, bowing and saying my lord. Rin looks to him after shutting the door, "What is up with the lord title?"
"I have a lot I will be telling you tonight, let us get to our destination first".
He opens the door to his Rolls Royce and lets Rin in. He gets in on the driver side and they begin to drive out. Rin says, "where are we going?"
"I put something together so that it would be the two of us so there will no distractions and we can have each other's attention".
"I like that" Rin says.
So far so good, Rin thinks.
The drive up to a restaurant but no one is inside eating only some staff there ready for them, there is seating for two and music playing. Sesshomaru takes her hand and leads her to the chair and pulls it out for her. He goes to sit down and motions for the waiter to bring wine.
"This is really nice Sesshomaru, the view is beautiful as well".
"Yes, the view is always nice, I can remember such a view so fondly. Do you remember Rin?"
Rin's breathing changes a bit as she knows what he is hinting at. "Yes, I do" she looks at him lustfully and takes a drink of her wine.
He smirks and thinks, I plan to relive that eventually my dear Rin.
They put in their orders and once the waiter leaves, "What would you like to know Rin?"
"Well Mr. Inutaisho, now that I know your last name per Kagome" she says sarcastically. "Are you a demon lord and what do you do for a living, you seem to be loaded?" she smiles.
I am a demon lord; I have lived a long time. The ones that have been with me will always remain to call me so. To answer your next question, I am loaded like I said I have been around a long time and my company is very successful. I am the CEO of Inutaisho Metals and I also own my own construction and architecture company".
"Are you comfortable?" she asks.
"You think I am not?"
"Show your markings, I assuming by sheer will you are hiding them, I want you to show me. You are acting as if I did not see them that night".
"Hmph!" he says as he reveals himself. "I like that better" she says.
Their food arrives and Sesshomaru says, "What other concerns do you have?"
"It seems I had so much to ask but my mind is drawing a blank right now, but I do want to say something to you, but I want to wait because I would like to hear what you have to say".
"If that is what you wish".
Sesshomaru stops eating and looks to her. "I searched for you, day in and day out up until just recently". Sesshomaru's frustrations starts to come out and his eyes turned cold, and Rin begins to worry.
"You could have come back; you did not have to go. You knew the possibility of where I was but you, I did not know nothing. I had something I wanted to talk to you about and I have been miserable because I was unable to tell you. When I saw that letter you left, I went into a rage".
Rin says, "I thought I never was going to see you again; my intentions were never to come back to Japan. I wanted to get away and start anew. That day I was desperate for attention, I never gone on a blind date before and when they did not show up, you came. I already made up my mind when I was sitting for too long that I would leave and never come back. When you asked me to stay with you, I was hesitant but then I thought mind as well, I will not be seeing him again and it would be nice to be in good company. That is actually what I wanted to say to you".
"Rin, I knew you were for me before you walked in the restaurant that day. I knew by scent, I wanted to make you mine".
Rin is in shock and says, "what is that some kind of mating call?"
His eyes softened and glistened and replied, "Yes Rin, you are my mate. You were meant for me".
Rin puts her fork down and evaluates everything that has been said. She takes a drink of her wine, well gulps it.
"Sesshomaru, I uh have so many emotions right now. I wanted to be with you, but I did not know how to express how. I did not understand the strong emotions I had for you. Does that mean I was meant for you too? Or if I did not reciprocate the feelings you have, I can reject you? I just want to understand the mating thing, I know I am jumping everywhere".
He wanted to laugh at her confusion, but he thought best not to, he did want to seem like he was making fun of her. "It is whatever you choose. In my selfish thinking I would say, I would say I was meant for you too, but you must make that decision. I can not make you feel any other way. I can only speak my truth, and that is I want you to be mine. I wanted to take you that night, every single time but I stopped myself".
Rin had a flashback and thought how close he was nipping at her neck when she straddled him. She unconsciously began to rub her neck and got aroused. Sesshomaru eyes dim, I want her now, she keeps having these flashbacks and becoming aroused, you do not have to hold back any longer, he thinks.
Sesshomaru decides he will wait for her to process everything and whatever decisions she makes, he will have to deal with it and be miserable if she rejects him but if she does not, he was going to wear her ass out, he smirked at that thought.
"I am glad you took me out and we got to talk. I will need some time to process everything".
"I understand Rin, if I would have told you from the beginning, maybe things would have been different".
"Maybe so" she replies.
"Let me get you back to the hotel. I enjoyed my night with you, even though it did not go the way I wanted. I am happy you came out here with me, being around you brings me peace".
Rin smiles and says, "I enjoyed it too, to be in an intimate place and no interruptions, it was nice! Not to mention the dress, hair, and makeup, I felt really pampered and spoiled".
"I will always spoil you even if you reject me".
That made the rest of the ride awkward and in silence. They arrive at Rin's hotel, and Sesshomaru walks her to her door. "Thank you again" she says, and he nods and turns to leave.
Rin closes the door, and she pushes her back to the door and thinks about what he said, Yes Rin, you are my mate. You were meant for me. I can only speak my truth, and that is I want you to be mine. I wanted to take you that night, every single time.
Every single time huh, she smiled.
I must be going crazy, to reject him. He has been the only one that has been on your mind and here is an opportunity to have him, to have what completes you, and you need some time? You do not even have to think twice, you want him just as bad as he wants you! Just go with the flow like Kagome says, if I am meant to come back here then that is where I will be! I can no longer run away, I have to stand up for what I want and what I want is him, she thinks to herself.
She takes out her phone and begins to pace then texts Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru never left her door, he stood there and hoped she would open the door back. He did not hear her move from the door, so maybe she was thinking about it? He then heard movement away from the door and his phone vibrates and it was her.
Rin: Are you still here?
Sesshomaru: Yes
Rin: Come back
Sesshomaru: I am here, open the door.
