They finally land and began making plans on their living arrangements. Since Sesshomaru owned a construction company, he already had workers on hand to build their dream home. Sesshomaru wanted Rin to do what she pleased with decorating, but she insisted on him being a part of it, so he joined her, he only went to make her happy.
Rin decided to keep it a secret of her being back in Tokyo. They set up a date on when they would tell the family. They decided they would tell each family separately. Kagome would be with Inuyasha of course, she wanted the demon side to feel comfortable and not have to conceal themselves. The human side, she did not have many family members to tell but to her aunt and Uncle that looked after her when her parents and brothers died and a few long distant relatives.
They wanted to marry immediately but Rin had to get herself more acquainted with her new lifestyle. She would find a job in journalism because she did not want to solely depend on Sesshomaru. He was fine with that for now, she told him she wanted their children to see that it is okay for the woman to work and get her own and that fortune does not last forever. He thought that was admirable of her wanting to teach the pups lessons in life, she would be a wonderful mother he thought.
Rin told Sesshomaru how she wanted her friend Enju to come to Japan and be her personal assistant again and that it was a possibility she would come. She was still pondering about it due to it being a major move.
"If it makes her more comfortable, she can move her whole family here and if they need jobs, they can work under me".
"Sesshomaru that is so sweet of you, us humans we like to feel like we have control of our lives, a handout is wonderful, but we are stubborn beings".
"By the way that was so hot what you said, you spoil me so much. I need to do something in return".
"You do enough by being here with me. As long as I am able to thrust this Sesshomaru inside of you, feel you up with my seed, accept and love me, always will be enough. You are just my everything Rin".
"Damn Sesshomaru, it is just so hard to believe sometimes that I could be this loved by anyone, it is sometimes scary".
"It is okay to feel those emotions. I am not angry or upset that you feel that way, you will just have to get used to it".
Rin nods, her phone rings and it is Kagome. She realizes Kagome does not know that she is back in Tokyo, Kagome just got back from her honeymoon as well.
She answers, "Hey Rinny, how are things in LA".
"It is nothing, I am adjusting. I live here so it's nothing" she says nervously.
"How did it go with Sesshomaru?"
"We said our peace and we will remain friends".
Sesshomaru rolls his eyes and goes into another room.
"How was the honeymoon?"
"It was great, learned some new annoying things but he is mine so I can push through it".
"That is good Kagome, so the transition from girlfriend to wife, how does that make you feel?"
Rin is curious as she knows Inuyasha is a demon and wondered how it differed.
"There are some things I cannot discuss but for the most part, it is like we are still dating. We were shacking up for a while, he still spoils me, nothing has changed".
"I see that is good," Rin says a little disappointed.
"Do you think about tying the knot one day?"
"I am open to it one day".
"That is exciting Rin, I thought you would want to spend the rest of your days by yourself".
"At one time I did but I am learning every day, it is okay to love someone, not everyone is like the guys I dated in the past".
"You sound well Rin, better than before, I see the woman you are becoming. I just wonder where the influence came from, but it does not matter, I am glad you are becoming the woman you always were meant to be".
"Thanks Kagome!"
"Well cousin, I am exhausted and wanted to check up on you, I have to re-adjust back to reality," she says laughing. They hang up and Sesshomaru enters the room.
"So, who is this influence?" Sesshomaru asks.
"You know it's rude to eavesdrop but since you must know, you may have something to do with it, but I had to change my way of thinking. I can't let you have all the credit anata".
He smirks and picks Rin up bridal style, "It is time for my feeding", Rin shudders.
Sesshomaru uses his talented tongue on Rin, makes love to her again, spilling his seed within her once again.
Sesshomaru sends an invite to his family stating he had something important to tell them. They would meet at one of his estates and Rin would meet them there so they would not scent her. The invitation read they would meet tomorrow night at 6pm.
Everybody was calling Sesshomaru worrying because he normally does not reach out to anyone. He just informs them to follow the instructions on the invite.
He turns to Rin and she says, "Are you ready for this my love" intertwining their fingers.
"More than ready, I really do not care to tell them but it makes you happy so it will be done".
Rin stayed back while Sesshomaru heads over to his other estate. Sesshomaru was surprised his mother came knowing she did not care for Togas and Izayoi relationship, she was still bitter.
"Oh, my dear boy, what is so important that you tell us in this manner? You have me worried, is there a threat?"
"Mother you are overreactive, it is nothing of such".
Sesshomaru is notified from Rin saying she is on her way. Sesshomaru takes this opportunity to try to time everything right for Rin's entrance. He lets his family mingle for a bit with each other, while they are on edge.
"Sesshomaru! This better not be some bullshit; I could have been home. I just got back from my honeymoon," Inuyasha yells out.
"Quiet Inuyasha, you are an embarrassment with your sudden outbursts all the time. Have some couth for yourself".
Inuyasha growls and Kagome says to him, "Sesshomaru never invites us anywhere so it must be good news, chill out Inuyasha".
Rin texts Sesshomaru to let him know she was up the street. He motions Jaken his right hand, to get everyone's attention. Jaken then bows as he now has everyone quiet.
Sesshomaru speaks:
"It was not my idea to do this, I rather had not said anything, but I will say this, a year ago my life changed…. for the better. As you, all noticed I was moodier than usual. I really do not care for you all but still I treated you worse than usual".
"Oh my God, he can't even be nice in a speech", Inuyasha whispers to Kagome.
Sesshomaru glares at Inuyasha and continues, "I lost someone who was very dear to me, and no one knew". The crowd gasps.
"But as fate would have it, would bring this person back into my life, my mate. Some of you have already met her. She has changed this Sesshomaru, made me see things I thought I would never see".
Kagome begins to cry. Sesshomaru's mother is glaring at Sesshomaru. Toga and Izayoi are smiling from ear to ear. Inuyasha has his mouth wide open.
Sesshomaru scents rin walking towards the door and says, "I Sesshomaru introduce you to my mate and my soon to be wife, Rin".
Rin walks through the door and looks to Kagome. Kagome runs to Rin, hugging her and crying. There is cheering in the background, the only one that is not is Sesshomaru's mother and Inuyasha as he still has his mouth wide open. Sesshomaru became annoyed with Kagome for holding on to his mate while he was trying to introduce her as his.
"Rin I cannot believe this; you mean to tell me you already knew about our significant others true being? I could kill you," Kagome says laughing and crying.
Rin laughs, "You are so animated Kagome". Rin lets go of Kagome and takes Sesshomaru's hand. Izayoi and Toga walk up to them and hug Rin. Sesshomaru motions his hand to stop Izayoi and his father from trying to embrace him. Sesshomaru looks over to his mother and turns to Rin and says, "I will be right back, I will speak to my mother" Rin nods.
Sesshomaru walks up to his mother, "What do you want to say mother?"
"I see you enjoy making a mockery out of me, repeating the same cycle as your father".
"Mother I cannot run away from whom my mate is. All this time I thought it would be another demoness, but it is not. She is who this Sesshomaru is meant to be with" looking over to Rin.
"I do not like it whatsoever, but you are my only son and whatever makes you happy, I will accept it, but I do not care for it, understand?"
Sesshomaru looked at his mother puzzled, but if no one else gets her, he will. She turns from him and walks over to the refreshments. Sesshomaru inhales and looks over to his Rin, her scent was filling the room and he wanted to get back to her.
He looks to his smiling mate and would do anything to keep that smile on her face; all he needed to do now was make sure his seed took. His yokai would be appeased and will be at her mercy forever.
As the night ends, Rin and Kagome make plans on how to tell the human side of the family. Kagome suggested having a small dinner since it would be a very small party to tell. Rin was a bit apprehensive on having a wedding with demons and humans because she wanted everyone to feel comfortable.
On their way home, Rin asks Sesshomaru what he thought about their wedding with humans and demons.
"I just don't want you to feel uncomfortable, I am sure you prefer to be able to show your true nature all the time".
"It is fine Rin; I do not care. It is only for a day".
"I am going to still think about it, I may want to have 2 weddings, small of course, nothing to extravagant" she smiles to him.
Sesshomaru shakes his head knowing if she wanted to have two weddings, she would get it.
Rin calls her aunt and Uncle and a couple of close family members over for dinner, Kagome would attend of course. Rin announces the news, and they were all genuinely happy for her.
Rin's aunt says, "Rin I am so happy that you will be able to start a family of your own. We all know how hard it was for you growing up and watching everyone with their families and not to have one of your own. We have always loved you; you are my daughter biological or not". She turns to Sesshomaru, "Please take care of our Rin, she is our flower".
Sesshomaru looks to Rin's aunt and Rin looks a little worried, she knows he does not do well with other human emotions besides hers.
"I promise she is in good hands; I will give her the world". Rin smiles
Rin's uncle makes at toast, and they finalize their night.
Rin was so happy the dinner was finally over; she took a shower, made her some tea, and sat on the sofa. Sesshomaru joins moments later, and she says to him, "Thank you for being so patient with my family, I know it is hard to converse with us humans".
"You worry too much; I will have to remove that habit".
"I do, I have been doing it for so long, and I didn't realize how overbearing it was".
"It is fine, you are mine so I will get used to it," he says kissing her forehead.
"Looks like we have a wedding to plan! Don't worry I will not bother you too much" Rin says smiling happily.
Sesshomaru wraps his arm around her shoulders, "The hard part is over, marrying you and having pups is the easy part".
