Every Wednesday and Saturday Rin looks forward to the dancing class. Saturdays were the best times for her to be at the class because of her work schedule. This is the second time she is in attendance, and she looked forward to hearing about the group placement.
Rin wore some biker shorts and a tank top. She went to the mirror and in her heard a song was playing so she started making up some dance moves. She was so into what she was doing she didn't know a pair of eyes was watching her every move.
"Hey Rin"
She turns around and sees Kagome and Yuka.
"I see you over there girl. Who you dancing for?"
Rin laughs. "Just a little warmup, I guess" she shrugs.
Inuyasha sees Kagome and walks over to the group, "Hello ladies, nice to you all again".
"Hi" Rin and Yuka say.
"Hello Inuyasha" Kagome says.
Rin looks to Yuka, speaking a language by their eyes letting each other know they both saw that.
Rin turns from them and looks over and sees Sesshomaru standing off to the side. She turns back around to Inuyasha speaking.
"I hope they tell us how we will be grouped today. I want to see who my partner may be, by who I am grouped with" Inuyasha says.
"Maybe we will be partners" Kagome says dimming her eyes.
Rin and Yuka want to get out of there, but Inuyasha was speaking to all of them.
"They would be doing me a favor. I would like to have you as my dance partner".
That was their cue, they both walked away from them. They decided to wait on the side for Kagome.
Kagome walks back over, "Thanks you guys, I could not help myself, he is a cutie".
"Looks like you both exchanged numbers?" Rin says.
"Yes, we did".
Rin and Yuka smile and tease Kagome.
Sesshomaru looks at his watch and notices Kagura is running late. He gets annoyed by this, but she still has time. He wasn't too upset the girl was there and her sweet scent. He could not completely wrap his head around being attracted to a human; it was a first. He saw her over there dancing to whatever song playing in her head and watched how her body moved. He could see hiim being her dance partner she would move gracefully against him.
In come her friends, and Inuyasha chooses to approach the group yet again, but his focus was the friend of the girl. He feels them chocolate orbs on him yet again but this time he does not meet her gaze. He will not show attention to her. He didn't want to show interest, he didn't want to have problems with Kagura.
Kagura hated the girl because she saw the girl make small glances toward him. So, he would try not to look her way even though he wanted to out of curiosity of course.
Miroku and Sango enter the room and greet everyone.
"Is everybody amped? I thought we would try something different today; a group activity that shows individualism. I am going to put on the music, and you all freestyle your warmup".
Miroku puts the music on, and Sango jumps up and down to encourage everyone, raising her hands up. Sango moves her body and randomly went around the room to different individuals to get them to join in and do their own thing. Miroku did the same thing but mostly with the guys.
Rin starts off with a simple 2-step and then added some rhythm to what she felt the music was telling her. She then added another move and Sango was impressed that she starts to mimic Rin's movements and before everyone knew it, they were all joining in on Rin's groove.
Sesshomaru was quite impressed with the young woman, to be able to move the entire room and make the dance warm and comfortable for everyone.
Miroku and Sango clap their hands and so did the rest of the class for Rin being so impressive.
"Wow Rin that was really good and much fun" Sango says and Miroku agrees.
The room gets quiet as Kagura shows up trying to tip toe into the classroom, but everyone turns to look at her, this embarrassed Sesshomaru.
"My apologies for my tardiness".
"It's alright, class just started. We had an awesome warm up with Rin today. She showed us instructors some skills" Miroku says.
Kagura scoffs, Rin heard it but chose to ignore it. She will enjoy her time here.
"For our next activity we will split the class up, Girls will be with Sango and the males will be with me. We will eventually bring the routine together with the whole class".
Kagura was annoyed being split up from Sesshomaru but Sesshomaru was relieved. He was able to enjoy himself without her presence, it put a damper on his participation.
The class splits up into two different rooms, Sango asks if Rin, Kagome and Yuka could be up front with her. She felt those were her stronger dancers and she could get them to go around the room to the rest of the group to get everyone on the same page.
Sango goes over the dance. She hopes that the group will pick up on the dance routine quickly. As she thought the girls really impressed her. They went over it a couple more times and then she told Rin, Yuka and Kagome to go around the room to help the rest of the class.
Rin approaches Kagura and Kagura scoff, "I don't need any help from the likes of you".
"Excuse me, you don't have to be rude".
"Do not think for a second I don't see you eyeing my boyfriend".
"I don't know who your boyfriend is. I just came over to help, I can get one of the other girls".
"Thank you that would be perfect" she says sarcastically.
Rin goes to Kagome, "She is such a bitch. She almost hit me last time and now insinuating I want her boyfriend. I acted as if I didn't know who she was talking about, but she doesn't need to know that".
"We should send Sango over there because we come as a pack, if one ain't fooling around with her; none of us are" Kagome says and Yuka agrees.
Meanwhile in the other room, Miroku gets the males together for their routine. Miroku picks the brothers, Sesshomaru and Inuyasha to help the others as they are the ones that caught on fast.
In the back of Sesshomaru's mind he hoped Kagura was not bothering the girl. He could not protect her from Kaguras wrath. He shakes his head, what am I thinking? Trying to protect her again?"
Miroku and Sango meet up thinking it would be a good time to wrap things up and said they would go over the routine again during next class meeting. They encouraged them to practice as much as they could.
"We will do a cool down and then the class is over, we will be seeing each other again on Wednesday" Miroku says.
While Rin was in a close vicinity of Kagura and Sesshomaru. Kagura takes upon herself to let it be known Sesshomaru belongs to her. "Oh Sesshomaru, I missed you. I can't wait for my "boyfriend" to show off his dance moves". She says turning to Rin's direction.
Sesshomaru looked at both girls. He did not want to indulge Kagura, but he also knew she was letting the others know they are together, staking her claim.
He simply kisses her on the forehead, and she smiles. Rin turns back to the front to get ready for the cool down. What an evil bitch! Rin thinks.
As they are doing their cool down, they have to do this motion to bend a little and Sesshomaru looks at Rin bent over and smirks. That looks delicious! Damn it, get it together Sesshomaru! She is a human!
They finish the cool down, and everyone claps theirs hands. Sango and Miroku wave to the class and everyone disperses. Everyone is outside of the building enjoying the gentle breeze. Sesshomaru closes his eyes as the breeze brings him that girl's sweetest scent.
As he was basking in Rin's scent, Kagura comes over to hug him. He is annoyed because he knows she is only doing this because she is threatened and not because she loves him.
Sesshomaru didn't pay attention much to her nametag, he just concentrated on her scent and the way her body moved. I could have her in all sorts of positions, he thought.
Sesshomaru grunts and then growls, Kagura releases him. "Are you okay?"
"I am fine, let's go!" Sesshomaru frustrated with himself for continuing to have thoughts of her.
As they are turning to leave, he hears the girl that Inuyasha took an interest in, yell out, "Bye Rin, will call you later!"
Rin huh, he thought.
Authors Note: This story is very short and sweet and very different from my other stories, even though all of my stories have mostly all of the characters, Out of character and during modern day. I will continue this story even though it is not getting a lot of attention but someone will appreciate it.
